Erin's POV

Why does his laugh have to be so hot? I thought.

Silverwing and Vermithor snickered while Seto made his draw. The next monster to be summoned was Swordstalker, and because of its special ability, it gained more attack points thanks to X-Head Cannon being in the graveyard, making him stronger than Caraxes. Seto commanded his beast to attack Caraxes but I smirked.

"I don't think so!" I shouted and activated Threatening Roar. My monsters were safe this turn.

"Nice save Erin!" Zane yelled.

I may be safe for now but not if Seto summons Blue Eyes or worse Obelisk.

"Again, another well-played move, but be ready, Erin," Seto advised before playing a card face down.

I felt Balerion's power when I drew him and did my best to keep my face neutral. I lay two cards face down and summoned Silverwing. The silver dragoness appeared and Seto's eyes softened at seeing her.

"Go Silverwing! Take out Ryu-Kishin!"

Silverwing took flight and just as she was about to unleash her flames did Seto reveal his plan.

"Oh crap!" I protested seeing Enemy Controller.

Seto chuckled as his life points dropped to 2500, due to the cost of Enemy Controller.

"Sorry Kitsune, but Silverwing is now mine!"

The cable from the controller latched onto the silver dragoness. Reluctantly, she joined Seto's side, and I mentally swore as I realized he had enough monsters to summon Obelisk.

"Silverwing will only serve Kaiba for one turn" Vermithor explained.

At hearing this, I chuckled, and Seto looked confused.

"You may have control of my dragon but she only aids you for one turn, and now you'll have one monster less"

The guys cheered from behind me as I commanded Caraxes to eliminate Ryu-Kishin. Ryu-Kishin went up in flames and my beloved was down to 2100 life points.

"I think it's time I brought out my beast of destruction" Seto addressed.

SHIT! I screamed in my mind just as Zane told me to watch out.

"First I sacrifice Silverwing and Swordstalker!"

Silverwing roared before disappearing alongside Swordstalker.

Then the monster I expected Seto to play was placed on his duel disk.

"Come out Blue Eyes White Dragon!"

The beautiful dragon of light heeded its master's call and appeared next to Seto. Mokuba whooped and I even found myself smiling. Facing Blue Eyes was one of the reasons why I wanted to duel Seto and now that dream was a reality.

"Say goodbye to your Caraxes! White Lightning! Blue Eyes!"

Blue Eyes obeyed and unleashed its deadly attack, and Caraxes was gone from the game. My life points dropped to 3000 and if I didn't pull a good card, I was done for in the next few turns.

"Let's see what else you got, Kitsune," Seto stated before laying a single card face down.

The card I then drew was exactly what I needed and I suddenly began to laugh.

"What's so funny?" Seto wondered.

"It's true, Blue Eyes is powerful, but it's not invincible, Kaiba," I answered my Zaldrizes. "Now it's time for this duel to really begin!"

I then played Ancient Rules. Seto's eyes widened, realizing what beast I was about to play, and again, the others cheered me on.

"I summon Balerion the Black Dread!"

Balerion unleashed a mighty roar when he came to life above me. At seeing Blue Eyes, the black dragon challenged Blue Eyes with a loud roar, which Blue Eyes returned in favor.

"Balerion is powerful but he's evenly matched with Blue Eyes, Kitsune"

"Not if I play this"

I revealed Sea Venom and Seto swore as the card I won from Mako weakened his Blue Eyes by 600 points. Now Balerion was stronger and he was eager to attack.

"Go Balerion! Dracarys!"

Balerion let loose a stream of dragon fire and just as it was about to touch Blue Eyes did Seto reveal Negate Attack.

"Damn it!" I protested.

Seto smirked.

"This duel is proving to be interesting"

"Lucky bastard" Balerion growled. "If he hadn't played that his Blue Eyes would have been sent to the graveyard"

"True, but remember, he is the second-best duelist in the world after Yugi," I reminded the Black Dread.

Balerion growled and he voiced his displeasure with a loud roar.

Seto laughed and I ended my turn.

"Now prepare yourself Kitsune!" my other half yelled.

After drawing Seto played Lord of Dragons and I swore when the face down turned out to be Flute of Summoning Dragon!

"He's going to summon Blue Eyes Ultimate be ready" I told Balerion and Sunfyre.

When Lord of Dragons played his flute two more Blue Eyes White Dragons arrived. Then as I suspected Seto played Polymerization and my mate laughed as his three powerful dragons formed into one and the magnificent Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon roared at Balerion.

Balerion simply huffed and emitted a low growl.

"Say goodbye to Balerion! Ultimate Dragon! Wipe out the Black Dread!"

My brother along with Yami, Tea, Duke, and Zane shouted just as Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon unleashed it's Neutron Blast attack.

And cliffhanger! Sorry y'all but that's how I saw the chapter ending lol.
