Basically, it's a collection of short stories about Eddie and Venom being best buds, but what if Venom had found Eddie as a young teenager, growing up in the mid/late nineties? Explores this scenario. Rated T for some language and violence. I hope you enjoy! NOTE: I do not own Venom in ANY way, shape, or form. No fluff or romance, just friendship and brother type stuff.

21. Snapshots

Hey everyone!

Decided to try something different for this chapter. Basically, I challenged myself to capture a moment between Eddie and Venom in 1-3 sentences. Almost like a snapshot of a moment, if you will. I wrote a bunch of them and separated them so you can tell them apart.

Snapshots

Eddie sits on the couch, watching a movie with a bowl of popcorn. He occasionally tosses a piece of popcorn into the air, Venom shooting out of his chest to eat the food out of mid-air.

Eddie sits at his desk, fast asleep with his homework nearby. Knowing they have a test the next day, Venom pokes out a single tentacle and smacks the human in the face, waking him up with a start.

Eddie lays on his bed, reading a book for class. Next to him is Venom, inside the neighbor's cat, purring a little as the teen pets him.

Eddie brushes his teeth one morning, and Venom is poking his head out of his chest, flashing a toothy grin in the mirror. The teen tries not to laugh, wondering if symbiotes have to brush their teeth.

Eddie is eating dinner by himself. Leftovers, since his dad is still at work. Venom's head pokes out of his shoulder, trying to wheedle his way into getting the majority of the human's pork chops.

Eddie ran down the track, racing against other students in a 100 meter race during PE. Venom helped make sure he did not tire, and they easily won.

Eddie is at Mrs. Chen's store, buying some snacks for him and a certain alien symbiote. Venom keeps leading him back towards the chocolate and tater tots, but the teen tries to resist.
