everyone this is chapter 10 of Deltoras quest
Noradz (night time)
We see the outside of noradz it is a dome shape building with a few curves and crooked spots even has chimney on top bellowing smoke. Our group of adventurers are still inside a cel of a dungeon you can hear the drip dripping of water throughout the entire dungeon Lief looked out the window sad"nothing it doesn't look like there's any way out of here" lief said. Every member had their own space jasmine on the top bunk, barda leaning against a wall and cal by the water buckets. Lief turned to look at jasmine"hey are you all right Jasmine?" Lief said "what do you think? Of course I'm not allright what kind of person would be all right in this dungeon" she said.
Jasmine then said"I can't believe how thirsty I am" lief looked were the two water buckets are saying"im sure its just a matter of time before they bring us some water and food". "Well aren't you the cherry optomist" jasmine said lief looked to barda and then down.
Cal finally spoke"well now the coast is clear baggy hatter you can come out now" the belt, shined baggy and hatter pop back onto his back and head. Barda said "cal what are you going to do?" Then cal said"first thing first hatter four hands full of snack food" and hatter popped out four web bags gave them to all and they snacked on them.
Jasmine said "thank you for grabbing these small meals" lief added "what will you do now?" Cal replied "train and build". This confused everyone and he put baggey on the floor"i'm going inside back here so I can try out my half siblings blood samples, level up myself and my armors and see what i can make with my bronze bands, pat baggy on the head three times when it feels like a day has passed" cal said.
As soon as he finish, saying that bag opened her mouth and a small light shined this caused Cal and hatter to disappear into her surpriseing everyone.
Inside baggey space(Night time)
We see cal in the lab sphere mixing half of the blood samples he had collected first he mixed hot and tot,fee and fly,lun and lod,pik and snik. Once that was done he moved to a training sphere he downed hot/tot blood potion then downed fee/fly blood potion. It might of hurt a little but you now what they say no pain no gain next came after images of four of his siblings he ran and swiped a lot in training what it seemed like three hours in baggy was actually a 30 minutes outside. Why he even had time to snack on two of the sweet plums for energy.
After the immense training he then downed lud/lod blood potion and then puk/snik blood potion same thing happened as last time. Cal drank enough potions he went to the forge sphere placed his silver and gold belt on a spellbinding circle. He pressed the center of it and out popped his silver and gold armors with their weapons since he had leveled up, it was time to level his armors up. Grabbing the hammer he swinged at it and with each swing, the armor began to change along with their weapons.
For the gold armor the sword got slightly wider on the blade part so much the end became a double ax. As for silver the sword became bulkier and more dense and had two holes in its center of the blade. The shield of the silver armor gaines six additional spikes in the center and it got extra shielding on the left and right side. After they have been leveled up Cal stop beating them with a hammer push the center of the belt the arms and their weapons went back inside the belt and he put it back around his waist.
When the task was complete cal turned his attention towards a bronze battle bands what could he make them for and then it hit him. Since he had so much power inside that he could defeat enemies way to easy he placed a magic forging spell on them the cuffs would only allow him to give half of his strength.
Then when he was finished beating in the cuffs with a hammer forging spell he put the bands around his arm wrists. He then moved to the battle training sphere to do long day training for both physical and mental with his new powers, upgraded armors and new abilities
Meanwhile somwhere in a room of noradz
we see a room with a fireplace in that room were a few ra-kacharzes and reese who was faceing tge fire place. Infront of them people of noradz in black including tira then she said "excuse me master reese when should we bring the four prisoners their meal?". Reese then turned around to face her and said"I believe it's best that I and I alone bring them food and water, I will also take them their belongings so they'll have a change of clothes". Tira said"you know what's best master reese" then reese said "clean noradzier" and the arm jester the rest of the people did the same.
Noradz outside (night time)
we see the outside of the city known as noradz the time changed from night to day and then back tonight, indicating that a whole day has passed
Noradz dungeon (nighttime)
With the day passing barda decided to walk to baggy bend down and began patting her three times with his hand. Meanwhile, inside baggy cal began training with his new powers and leveled up armor and when he heard the pat he stopped. It was time for him and hatter to get out of there they rode the boat for the exit sphere, got off the boat and walked right through it.
As soon as they did they were back in the cell with the rest of their group and Cal picked up baggy and put her on his back. Cal was sad to see his friends like this "I need water" jasmine said getting everyone's attention
Hallway of noradz
Tira was walking down the hall holding a candle in her right hand and a clean laundry basket in her left arm. She had came from folding clean laundry then something caught her attention she looked to her left. What she saw was a box of our adventure stuff we got lief and bardas swords,gloves and cloak next was jasmines dagger and finally cals fob. "Thats the prisoners stuff whats it doing here?" She said at a nirmal volume
Noradz dungeon
Jasmine got up"nobody's ever gonna come with water and food, I knew that was a lie their planning to keep us in this disgusting dungeon until we starve their so cruel" she said. Lief said " don't worry someone will be here soon" the jasmine snapped "what's wrong with you anyway leif,why do you always think other people are so good or that they care as much as you no one is coming and filli is probably already been caught by now" she said then cried.
Lief said"don't give up Jasmine" then they heard a knock on the door cal quickly told baggy and hatter to get in his belt and saw it was tira lief said "tira". She shushed him"please be quiet" she whispered then bent down and slid a tray with four soup bowls. Tira said "I know I shouldn't really be here but the first Ra-kacharze gave orders that he and he alone would be the one to bring the four of you something to eat and drink I was worried he might've forgotten about you".
Lief said "no one's brought us anything since they locked us up" tira grunted then jasmine said"and theirs no way he forgot he's wanted to get rid of us from the very beginning". Tira said"thats not true" barda then said"please tira unbolt the door and let us out of here thats all we ask of you"
Tira then shook her head side to side and said"I can't do that you brought that thing to our halls and it still has not been found,people are crying out in their sleep afarid that the evil creature will attack them". Jasmine became furious thrn said"how dare you call filli and evil creature he's one of my best friends" tira said"huh its your friend?"
Lief pleaded"tira please listen to me where we come from animals like filli aren't thought of as evil we meant your people no harm". Tira was hesitant "if you don't let us out of this cell you know whats going to happen to us,master reese told you and the others that he'd bring us food and water himself right, but he nevere actually came he's been lying to your people about us ever since we got here". Lief continued"you know it because your the one who warned me about the cards" and tira got a memory flash of how Reese switched one of the cards with a darkness card.
Tira said "that was a mistake" lief said"please you got to help us im begging you to open this door". Tira was hesitant again lief said" tira please this can't be the end for us our quest is way too important". There was a wait everyone in the cell looked at lief and the door opened while tira said"alright". "What have i done!?" Tira said lief walked out while saying "tira thank you don't worry we'll get out of the city fast but which way do we go" the others followed.
She then shook her head and said"there is no way out every gate is locked and guarded" barda said"no matter how well guarded every city has at least one escape route". Tira said "well there is the hole" jasmine said"so there is a way out" lief said "tira please show us we need your help". Cal spoke "before we go any further lets eat were hungry" and he grabbed the tray and handed everyone the soup except tira.
Hallway noradz(night time)
we see our group of adventures and Tira walking down a hall tira holds a candle they're only source of light. Lief said "sorry we've put you in danger once you shown us the way you can pretend none of this ever happened ok" tura said" were very close now we just need to climb up these stairs to a walk way". They all walked up stairs "is something wrong tira?" Lief said "it's dangerous for you to go near the walkway only the Ra-kacharzes are allowed to use them" tira said
Jasmine said "going anywhere in this city is dangerous" then lief looked at her "not that I'm scared or anything" lief turned to tira said"don't worry about us ok". Tira was hesitant and nodded our adventureres continue to walk down the hall one had an entrance on the side.
Noradz hall(day time)
They had continue to walk down the hall this one was slightly narrow and it looked like it was on the outside you could see the light shine on top of the edge. Our group reached a door tira turned said"this is the kitchen the doorway to the holes on the other side" then she opened the door our adventurers look through the door and they were surprised. All of them had saw the kitchen of noradz was huge and everyone was dressed like the noradz in black only difference is they had on masks, hats and aprons. The kitchen staff are working on making food one is needing dough then they saw pies baskets of fruits and someone mixing soup while it's cooking.
Barda said "where did all this food come from!?" Jasmine said "ive never seen so much" barda added "and to think they were gonna let us starve only a few feet away". Cal said "how's that for irony" lief turned to tira said" this kitchen is huge are there cooks working here night and day" tira said "yes but only a small amount of the food prepared is eaten, most of what is cooked does not pass the inspection".
Lief said"what about the food that doesn't pass?" Tira said "it gets placed in bins and is disposed of through the hole, the same way you need to escape from the city". "But why do you waste so much good food?" Lief said "i told you everything that's thrown out is bad the ra-kacharze know whe food is unclean and protected the rest of the people from it clean noradzier" tira said. Barda said"its true that it's best to keep things clean but this is insane" lief said "in del people have been starving and fighting over scraps found in the garbage dumps" this surprised tira. Lief said"it might be hard for you to believe but it's the truth one of the reasons we'retraveling around deltora is because we wanna make it a better her kingdom" tira said"is that really what you're doing"
"Yes I think that we should go on our own from here ok I guess this is goodbye" lief said "I heard the only the ra-kacharzes have been in tge hole and survived please be careful" tira said. Lief nodded and said"thanks " first lief walked on the edge then jasmine,barda and cal till they reach the door on the other side and lief opened it and they closed it
Hole room
our group walked into the room where the hole was in the center two rails and the side they faced and back, had three doors on each side on their left a dome with a hole doorway. Lief said"that must be the door she was talking about" barda added"doesn't look too inviting" jasmine said"there's something spooky about it" cal said"what could be down there".
Barda said"without our weapons it'd be foolish to go down there" lief said "but we gotta get out of here and continue the quest come on" he walked to the hole. Jasmine spoke"i'm not going yet I came along to see how I can get out but I can't leave this place without filli" lief said "this could be our only chance of escape","you know he's right" barda said. "I didn't ask you three to stay and look for him with me" jasmine said and leif said her name.
She added"when you two started this quest it was just the two of you so you should be fine without me and cal there's no way im gonna leave filli here" jasmine said and ran back where they came from. Lief ran to her but barda said"lief just let her go we can't take the risk of getting caught again" leaf said "I can't","she has already made up her mind"cal said. "So there you are" reese said they looked and saw jasmine back up in front of her is reese.
Lief was surprised as was the rest of them they're all backed up in the center of the room except reese. "How did you escape from our dungeons!?" Reese said "as if we tell you" jasmine said "no matter I have all the proof I need of your wicked intentions for our city, you've invaded our kitchens and brought your creature to infest them" reese said. Jasmine said "what is wrong with you?" Cal replied"i'd say he's a cheat and a liar".
Reese said "the people of noradz will tremble with fear when they hear what you have done they'll be more than happy to sentence you to the fate you deserve" lief said "you'll have to stop us first". Then reese got his whip and whipped lief in the leg "leave him alone" barda said and reese whipped him on the right cheek then reese walked to barda" you people have brought evil to my city,now you will feel my wrath". Just when he was about to say the chant jasmine kicked him in the leg, stopping him "i've had enough of your stupid chant you're the creepiest slimeball I've ever seen" and reese grabbed her by the chest.
While holding her reese said"i'm going to shut you up once and for all unclean one" jasmine was in trouble lief shouted her name. "Stay back varmin" reese said when he whipped leif causing him to get in front of the hole tunnel with cal and barda. Reese chuckled laugh "I think I'll get rid of the three of you right now" started whipping and chanting clean noradzier "get back once you enter the hole that will be the end there is no escape for you now. Thet looked in the hole tunnel it was covered in purple slime back in front the whipping continued "oh no lief,barda,cal" jasmine said.
Reese said "this is the end did you fools really thought you vould trick me as reese was chanting the whipping grew faster till cal walked forward and let the whip rap around his left arm. "So you think you're so tough huh now that we're all alone I can show you my wild side" cal said as his arms and parts of his face got his creature side then suddenly a bang was heard. Reeses eyes widen and fell down this was because tira hit him with a frying pan while she carried all of our adventures stuff.
"Tira" lief said and she dropped the frying pan next all our adventures got there stuff back tira was kneeling and crying a bit. Lief said "tura we owe you our lifes" and she said"I didn't mean to hit him I just wanted to give your belongings back to you before you left". Jasmine said "I guess we need to thank you to" lief and tira looked at her "we are grateful for the courage you have shown by helping us" barda said.
Then jasmine heard footsteps and looked at the way they came "I hear someone coming" lief and tira got back up. "You can come with us if you want if they ever find out what you've done you'll be in great danger won't you" lief said tira looked down decideing. Tira shook her head side to side said"im gonna stay this is still my home but thanks for asking" lief nodded"we'll never forget what you've done for us" he said. "You've gotta go now goodbye" tira said then walked away to one of the doors "be careful" jasmine said to her "you too" she replied and walked through one of the entries.
Then they heard footsteps growing louder coming from their entrance of how they got here from that entrance there are three Ra-kacharzes. "The unckean ones" one said looked down gasped seeing reese unconscious "master Reese you will pay for this filth" he said as he and the other two got their whips out ready for a fight. As they all prepared to draw their weapons while cal turned his arms into his creature arms suddenly filli jumped up infront of them scaring one of the ra-kacharze.
Jasmine said"it's filli" her friend was jumping around scaring and confusing the three ra-kacharzes. This gave barda an opportunity to tackle one of them into the wall knocking em out then he did it a second time resulting in one falling face first into the floor. As the last ra-kacharze was about to leave filli jumped up and scared him causing lief to hit him in the face with the frying pan knocking him out.
"Yay filli" jasmine said running to him picking him up with both hands "i'm glad you're safe I was worried" she said while pressing him up against her face. Lief said "its oblivious filli is more than just a friend he's part of jasmines family" barda said "you think" lief said"all right we better be going". Then cal said "baggy get out here please" his belt glowed and a golden shining orb popped out, went on his back and turned the baggy. "Baggy ala three of the ra-kacharze whipps hatter ala that frying pan" then baggy opened her mouth and four rainbow tentacles popped out they grabbed three of the whipps from unconscious ra-kacharze except reeses whip and baggie pulled them inside of her hatter did the same with the frying pan.
"Thank you baggy and hatter now, things are getting messy" cal said baggy humed happy in agreement and then transformed into a shinny golden orb and went back into the belt. Lief walked to jasmine then by followed by barda and cal and said"i'm guessing you'll be joining us now that filli is back" jasmine replied jokingly "nah we kinda like it here, I think we'll stay a little longer" filli nodded and they joined the group.
Barda said"we'll have to take our chances with this tunnel, there's no other way for us to get out" jasmine said"but reese was pushing you back into it on purpose he said it would be the end for you guys". Lief said " still we really don't have any other choice" and walked through "if you think we plan on staying here you've got another thing coming" cal said as he walked with the rest into the tunnel.
Inside the tunnel (day time)
Our group of adventures are walking through the tunnel inside, they were some kind of purple drippings some of them were falling from the sides of the ceiling. "It looks like some kind of weird fungus" lief said as he was about to touch it "lief" barda shoted causing leif to stop "I don't think we should touch it, it could be poisonous" Barda continued. "But we're gonna deal with it eventually to get through" jasmine said lief looked around "if only we had something we could cover ourselves with" he said.
Jasmine said huh and walked to the left she had spotted a door in the wall"I wonder what's in here"she said. She opened the door and inside it were four red suits "ra-kacharze use these they give me the creeps" lief said"ya but we could were them they protect us from that fungus" barda added"why not we might as well". Jasmine just said huh and lief reached in pulled out one of the red suits handed it to jasmine"one for you" jasmine held it sigh and said"the things i gotta do".
All of our adventures were wearing the red suits with filli inside jasmines suit these suits were like the ra-kacharzes suits. The difference is the upper part looked like an over sized shirt hanging down and had two rectangle holes one for the eyes and one for the mouth which looks covered. Adventures kept walking down the tunnel until the fungus went from dripping purple to green bumps"look at that those are the weirdest mushrooms I've ever seen" jasmine said. Barda said "careful guys its slippery watch your step" then cal replied"gotcha" lief said "I hope it's not too far It's hard to breathe".
Then they stopped"look over there" lief said what they saw was the light at the end of the tunnel jasmine said "finally" giggled while running. Barda shouted"don't run Jasmine you might slip" while jasmine ran she skidded indicating she was try to stop and she did right before she could reach the steep end. Jasmine breathed and lief showed up next to her followed by cal then barda"what do you guys think?" Barda said "its got to be the way out" lief said cal and barda nodded in agreement
Suddenly a whip was launched behind them wrapping around bardas neck lief shouted"barda" then barda turned around to see who was strangling him while grabbing onto the whip. The person was reese "you unclean fools you're not getting away" he said he was different his eyes were now straining red indicating he's mad. "Reese" lief said been drawing his sword he charged at him while cal grabbed the whip with barda. Just when he got close reese dodged the sword and kicked lief right into the wall meanwhile barda and cal played tug of war with reeses whip pulling reese slightly. Reese said"don't you see i will never allow you to ruin noradz clean noradzier" cal had enough Reese's talk and said"first you try to push us into this hole, hoping to destroy us then you us to stay make up your mind you lying cheat"
Lief then charged at reese again he looked behind and saw lief charging this time, he managed to slice reese's left sleeve exposing a small part of skin. Then while reese is moving he accidentally touched the green fungus with his exposed skin this freaked him out. All of a sudden green bump started forming on his exposed skin until his entire left arm grew green fungus bumps, tearing that arm side of the suit from the inside. "What's happening to him" lief said "I knew it was poisonous" barda said you could here tge squirting sounds from his arm reese looked at his contaminated arm, then to the group and said"if this is the end for me, it'll be the end for you too" cal wasn't phased "bring it on reese" he said.
Then reese went charging at them loed readying his sword reese was flailing like a mad man with his eyelids going up and down. Just then reese slipped right infront of them they dodged the side so reese would fly past them then he went rolling down the steep hill causing him to break everything in his body. They all looked at each other realizing they had just dodged a serious crisis.
Tunnel end(day time)
They have all carefully walked down the steep slope and they started to take off the head masks of their suits. Not to far from was reese laying down killed by the fungus and the fall you could see the fungus growing over his arm and bumps under his suit and some of it spilling out of his face. Jasmine said "if we had worn these ugly uniforms, we probably would've touched the fungus and ended up like him" barda added"not a bad trade off". Lief looked at Reese's body and noticed an eye tattoo on the back of his left hand"look at his hand" he said "I knew there was something weird going on around here" jasmine said. "That means that noradz has been under the control of the Shadow Lord this whole time" lief said "and it's people have no idea they completely trust the leadership of the Ra-kacharzes but in reality the nine are just servants of the Shadow Lord" barda said.
Jasmine said"it makes sense no wonder I didn't like him" cal said"I always listen to my instincts and they're telling me the ra-kacharzes couldn't be trusted at all". Lief said"I get that their brainwashing everyone, but I still can't figure out why they decided to make them so obsessed with keeping everything clean" barda said "there's gotta be a reason behind it". Then they heard a noise from up the hill they saw a cart coming lief jumped out of the way to the others. Inside the cart three barrels one had bread loafs, the other had tangerines and the last one had multiple colored berries.
As soon as the cart drove away to the light at the end of the tunnel "that food looked totally fine to me" jasmine said "now that we know the shadow lord is behind all this i wonder were it all goes" barda said. Lief said "well there's only one way to find out" he and the rest of the group started running after it lief moved back a little bit "whats wrong?" Jasmine asked. "Ra-kacharzes" lief said they all looked saw three ra-kacharzes loading up food into a wagon with the nood down.
"Why are loading all the unclean food into that cart?" Jasmine said "oh this is the last of it there was an incident in the kitchens that slowed down production so there's not not as much this time"ra-kacharze said. "Who cares we've gotta hurry we're already late as it is" female ra-kacharze said "if they got to hurry then they're probably not throwing it away" barda said. "That's true let's sneak out and see where they're going" lief said "I can tell you all this this whole ra-kachrze thing is a scam" cal said.
"Are you serious that cart is pulled by mudlets and I promised myself I would never have anything to do with those things again" jasmine said. Lief said "but don't you want to see where they are going I need to know what they're gonna do with all that food" jasmine teased"why ya hungry".
(Day time) traveling in the wagon secretly
Our group of adventures had cal put the ra-kacharze suits in baggy and had stowed away on the wagon, and the wagon was moving to where they do not know. The wagon was covered when our adventures stowaway "im worried that kree wont be able to find us while we're hidden under this tarp" jasmine said to the next scene we see kree flying around on top of the cart sky area.
Jasmine said "hey he's here" lief, barda and cal looked outside barda said" i don't recognize this road I have no idea where we are". They looked and saw trees in a line indicating a path underneath them "uh i'm so sick of just sitting in here and just doing nothing" jasmine said then looked with the boys outside. "What is it?" Jasmine asked leif he replied"I don't know, but this place looks really familiar".
Then a ra-kacharze said "kadabra" and the two mudlets pulling the cart stopped moving huh? Everyone said "there just stopping here?" Lief said. To their surprise, the cart stopped at Tom's shop "why Tom's shop?" Barda said "and look over there"jasmine said everyone looked and saw four grey guards walking twoards them. Three of them had their mouths covered while one didn't have anything covering his mouth indicating he's the leader "grey guards what are they doing here?" Lief said.
