Tony had Jarvis scan the battlefield and immediately saw Batman dropping down in a grappling hook behind Cap to subdue him by surprise while he was hunched over checking on Nat. He shot forward and collided with Batman dragging him along the air before dropping him down a raised platform probably where more crates would be loaded tomorrow.
The Kevlar in Batmans suit took the brunt of the attack and his landing on the platform. Getting up he saw the armored man land and point an accusing finger to him. "YOU! What? You think that it would be that easy to trick the Avengers huh!? You going to regret that pal," said Tony before charging forward to attack. Batman did admit to himself though that if he would've coordinated his team better non of this would be happening but who were they to continue attacking even if provoked. He however saw Tony's attack coming a mile away. Too chatty less tactic was his immediate thought after Tony spoke. Being physically up for it, Batman dodged Tony's punch and knocked him back with his charged gauntlet.
Seeing no damage done, Batman cranked up the power on them. Tony staggered back a bit from the force of the hit although it didn't do any damage. His armor was very durable, he had made sure of that since the day of Ultron attack. Okay he wants fists, I'll give him fists charging up his armored hands just like Batmans gloves which surprised the other guy. "Jarvis, study his technique and help whenever necessary," Tony said after muting his microphone first.
Charging his armored hand took Batman by surprise, I must really own whichever company made that suit and how have then operated in secrecy not to be known yet how advanced they seemed Batman thought then smirked and said, " you don't have to do this you know." Tony saw his smirk and got more angry, "Hell No buddy, you got this beating coming to you for a long time now."
Batman smirked already enjoying the idea of teaching this guy a lesson. Tony attacked. Batman waited for his attacker then side stepped him throwing a kick aiming at his back however Jarvis saw this coming before Tony saw it which he didn't,he was too blinded by rage, and countered the move expertly by twisting and grabbing said legs then throwing him to the wall. That took Batman by surprise since he knew this guy was blinded by rage and won't see the move till was too late if he ever saw it. he made mental note on him receiving training of some sorts Getting up Batman saw Tony charging at him again and threw punches his way, Batman being on the same if not higher level than Ras' al ghul, countered every move of his and began dishing out his own. One misstep from Iron man had him being punched severely in the chest with the electric gauntlets before a slot of other attacks from Batman.
The amour though still holding, Tony was getting disoriented from the attack and shouted, "Jarvis" having forgotten to turn off the microphone. Jarvis had been analyzing Batmans attack for the past few seconds taking longer than usual because batman was mixing several fighting techniques in one even Task master would have difficulty but not impossibility copying his moves. "Ready" Jarvis responded to Tony's ears then proceeded to block the coming attacks and dishing out counter attacks as if he was not the one getting pummeled some seconds ago.
After a couple of punches in, the guy was relenting and getting to defensive stands but that didn't stop Batman's punches from pushing through and landing. Amatuer Batman thought wondering how on earth he countered his earlier move. When he pushed the guy to the wall with his attacks although not damaging his suit at all, he heard him shout out to someone named Jarvis. Making a quick decision he went in for the strike to put him down unconscious before the Jarvis back up arrived however the guy blocked and started countering his attacks and even landing punches on his own.
Any move batman made was countered and three punches landed on him he suddenly being the slower of the two. Reaching to his utility belt he threw two smoke bombs which exploded in contact making the dark room even darker. Batman did a tactical retreated to figure out his situation. In the darkness he saw the guys eyes light up white much like his own meaning he had an HUD and obviously night vision. Thinking back to his fighting and all the things he has managed with the suit, "Ofcourse!" He was mad at himself for not thinking about this sooner him being smarter than most after all. "AI" he said. That's how he gets everything done in there and most likely how he studied his moves and managed to counter back again he was probably the one who hacked his systems, it had to be at par with the Batcave. Knowing he couldn't win in hand to hand he decided to buy time while reaching to his utility belt to assemble a device he rarely used but had.
"How did you hack into the satellites?" He asked out into the darkness. "So that's why your pissed? I hacked a bunch of your satellites!?" Tony grinned inside the suit before saying. "Next time don't make it child's play when securing..." Before finishing the sentence batarangs came flying towards him. He managed to destroy some while others collided with him bouncing of his suit in metallic sounds. Then a device was thrown on his foot. Looking down it released some kind of smoke which covered him then stopped. Looking up to the approaching figure he was about to give a retort before a huge pulse was released from the device and his suit went dark. Everything was turned off even Jarvis except for the reactor on his chest which never went off. "Impossible" was all Tony said before falling down in a heap of metal. Tony had made several adjustments and upgrades to his suit that no random EMP device could affect it, so he was very much surprised and his anger increasing by the minute. But being as smart as he is you end up with back up protocols for the protocols already in place in his suits. He knew no technology is ever secure and so thinking in those thoughts he developed protocols for when incase the suit did depower due to an EMP device. Tony turned of his eyes night vision thus when Jarvis started rebooting almost immediately it didn't show that his suit was powering up.
"Like you said, childsplay." Bruce smirked while looking down at the depowered suit. He took a gamble because he only had one chance that the suit was probably EMP proof like most of his gadgets and devices so he tweaked his EMP in the utility belt and added some more components to make the blast stronger that not even his car would stand a chance. It worked and by the guys shock his gamble paid out. "Call off your guys!" Batmans base voice said. "Not a chance." Just then a loud BOOOM! was heard and they looked towards the sound, and saw most of the port containers were reduced to scrap metal. Not minding that, they both continued to look and try to understand what they saw.
Cap ran to Black widow when he saw her getting knocked out by the warrior clad woman. Before getting to her attacker to protect Nat ,the Hulk had already grabbed and pummeled her down to the street with Tarmac debris flying everywhere like projectiles. "She's definately durable..that's why she knocked out Nat.." Cap concluded while changing directions towards Nat who was still on the ground. Reaching and checking for her vital signs first,he let out a relieved breadth which he didn't know he was holding when he found out she was alive. He looked up in time to see a man dressed in red and blue with an S symbol on his chest charge into the Hulks back dragging him away from the fallen woman in warrior attire who was starting to get up. Hearing rocket boots above him he saw iron man grip the earlier guy in the black costume and fly up with him. He put Nat in a sitting position after performing some first aid on her where she would recover quickly and looked at the battle.
He watched the warrior clad woman take in the scene and land his eyes on Wanda who was managing to hold her own against the shapeshifting green guy who sometimes went invisible but Wanda knew where he was each and every time. Gripping his shield and with an ease only he knew to operate the shield with threw it towards her to get her attention.
J'ohn had requested back up from her and she was about to head and give it out when she heard a whirling sound splitting the air sailing towards her at high speeds. Barely ducking her head down avoiding being hit by the shield which went a head to bounce along some containers then returned to the hands of the owner. She narrowed her eyes at him in shock and anger for nearly taking her head off, which wouldn't have happened even if the shield had hit her on her neck because of her durability but it was still rude. They guy had the audacity to give her a shrug of his shoulders as response. Enraged she charged forward to him in a burst of speed with her sword raised up to deliver the attack.
Steve barely raised his shield in time just due to his slight super reflex from the serum. Diana's sword collided with force on it with the force bending Caps knee while using two of his arms to push the shield up against the force. Diana expected his shield to shatter or break into two with the amount of force she struck it with using her nigh indestructible sword, which was why when she flipped back a few meters she was shocked that only a thin line of scratch was evident of the attack she just dished out.
Getting up Steve looked at his shield and raised his eyebrow when he saw the scratch made on it by her sword and also looking at her mirrored expression of him wondering why his shield wasn't broken up concluding that both were made from very durable metals. Narrowing her eyes at her attacker, she attacked again. Steve was ready for her this time...each of them evading and striking with perfect precision only mastered either with centuries of war or practicing for a long time which suited either combatants in Diana being over 800 years and Cap being over 100 years. Long since Cap had knocked out the sword out her hand and it was down to two shields banging against each other while trading blows at a rather fast rate. Diana had to hand it to the guy for keeping up with her so far..when she increased her speed to take him out he managed to bring her back down to the initial speed in which they started. Only one person was able to do that since she came to the men's world, it was her Steve but only because she had taught him how to do it. It was an Amazonian secret fighting style for when they faced foes stronger than them so she wondered where he learnt the move so well that not even her could counter and keep on attacking at a superior speed.
Cap knew he could last only for so long against the woman who wasn't even looking like was breaking a sweat fighting him, so he decided to take end it quick and with a small run he threw the shield at her with all his strength which she ducked easily enough then decided to make his move. Diana saw the shield heading towards her at relative speed and she merely ducked down allowing it to pass on top of her then straightened to continue fighting only to be met by a fist to the head and a loud Crack! She not only winced at the sound of the guys fist fracturing but also that the punch had dragged her back a few meters and was a little sore which healed immediately.
The same couldn't be said for the guy who was on his knees catching his breath and holding his fractured right hand with his left. Looking up with a glare and seeing she was okay, he forced himself up on his feet to continue fighting through the extreme pain he felt in his hand slowly healing due to the serum. Damnit! How can she stand when I put everything I had on that punch and end up with my hand fractured, he thought pushing past the pain just like when he had fought against Tony for Bucky he stood up to take his stance once more. Being a warrior Diana admired Caps persistence and fighting spirit but this was taking too long for her as a warrior and she moved as fast and swiftly as she could and delivered a right knee to Caps stomach then a backhand to the back of Caps head putting some force behind the hit this time knocking him out. Cap was in too much pain to even try blocking the attack after being kneed in the stomach then everything went black and he fell unconscious at Daina's feet. Diana was about to pick him up before a gun shot sounded and looking up she saw he woman she had knocked out earlier get up and aim a gun at her.
"Don't even think about it,Cyka!" She said to her. Diana raised an eyebrow apparently familiar with the word she just used. "I don't want to hurt you" Diana said with I will if you leave me no choice went unsaid. Natasha huffed as if she was stupid enough to believed someone who pummeled her into a container and beat Steve unconscious, suddenly she felt relieved that her being knocked out was justified to also Captain America being knocked out by the same person. she's powerful she thought. Noticing her moving towards Steve again she fired this time not a warning shot but towards her thigh hoping to atleast hinder her movement. Nat saw the woman move at lightning speed to deflect the bullet with her bracelet then charge her before everything going black again. "Shit" her only thought before everything going black. Diana seeing the woman pondering her words and deciding to help her colleague out by picking him up heard the gun cock again before a gunshot was sounded. She reacted fast enough to deflect the bullet into a nearby container then proceeded to knock out the woman knowing she wouldn't help or capture either of them if they were still conscious. warrior spirit and all after knocking her out and placing her next to the other guy she started surveying the entire battefield eyes landing on Batman and the red armored suit guy being restrained by one of his chords just then hearing a loud BOOOM!and turned to see what made that noise and was astonished to see what was happening.
Johhn called to Diana for back up immediately he knew he couldn't attack the woman with the red aura via telekinesis, an attack he usually uses as a last resort where they didn't care about the villains mind and that only it manages to bring him down. Greater foes they've faced like Darkseid and Brainiac usually had protection against it but they had superman to level the playing field. At this time superman also had his hands full battling a green raging monster that even he could feel his rage emanate in waves from him even at a distance. Shazam and Green lantern were also busy fighting the other guy who holding out against the two powerhouses..he also saw Diana also presumably occupied by the guy with the shield so that left him to pick up his own slack. Transforming again into a large reptilian cobra which then proceeded to wrap itself around the woman who had been mentally blocking out his psychic attacks. Wrapping around her fully, he began to squeeze the air out of her to knock her out. However the red energy seeped from her body and began burning Johhns skin like fire would, making him release her with a roar of pain and that was all it took to loose the fight for him.
Wanda immediately flew after Thor when he was tackled by the sparkling guy and joined by the green guy who were tag teaming Thor only to be knocked to the ground by the green guy with an x on his chest and a cape overflowing from his back. "Stand down!" Johhn warned her with glowing eyes trying to intimidate her and also get a read from her mind. He started going through her mind and saw a huge metal looking robot and a boy with a bullet riddled body and then her crying for sleepless nights then as fast as it started he was kicked out of her mind with a force that gave him a minor headache.
"Argh!" He groaned then looked at her after his healing abilities kicked in. What he saw in her face made him question his earlier intention of getting a read of her since he saw and uncovered a memory she didn't want anyone getting from her head from her face giving a pained expression then an angry one aimed at him. Wanda was taken by surprise when flung to the ground then the green creature tried to intimidate her like Ultron, who was responsible for her brothers death.
Getting her bearing on, she felt her mind being probed uncovering some memories buried deep within, for some pained few seconds she was forced to relieve them before slamming the invader with her own attack that threw him out of her head. Johnn was startled because he had never met anyone who completely blocked his telekinesis while still in their mind except White Martians who were another can of worms altogether. "You will pay for that!" Was the only warning he got before she unleashed a powerful blast of magic at him. Johnn barely had time to go intangible before the wave could wash over him..phasing through it he could feel the power fueling them, pure anger. Wanda was caught of guard and stopped her attack when the green guy phased through it, this angering her even more.
Suddenly she was pummeled to the ground when the green guy morphed into a large dragon with only her shield between her and the stomping foot that landed repeatedly on top of her making her even more angry and her magic coming to life as if it had a mind of its own and blasted the giant creature upwards. Johnn was pushed off her and landed a couple meters away by a force which she seemed to generate and started floating towards him surrounded by the red aura. Having had enough Martians eyes glowed bright indicating that he was about to give her his biggest psychic attack that would bypass her mind barrier and knock her unconscious or disorient her till she was captured. Having gathered enough mental strength he launched his attack while looking at her and gritting his teeth from the pain he felt while trying to invade her mind which was proving unfruitful and he had to telepathically call to wonder woman for support since she was indeed a mighty foe.
Wanda knew what he was going to do the moment his eyes glowed bright but just smirked at his brazen attempt again. Fool me once shame on you...fool me twice shame on me..she thought. Feeling his mental attacks knocking on her barriers,she used his desperation against him and instead found a back door to his mind and began exploring. His mind was a breeze compared to when she had to mind control the hulk and get past his various impressive mental defenses which was not easy and had only toughened up since that attack on him.
Martian Manhunter stopped his attack when he felt a gentle probing at the back of his head and immediately knew what it was. Without any restraint left he shifted into a large reptilian cobra and wrapped himself around Wanda whose shield encased body was slowly being squeezed and the pressure began to way down on her aura protection in turn taking a toll on her and with one last final wave of magic, she engulfed the giant creature in a red aura but which burnt akin to a flame since she had seen that fire was one weakness for him. He recoiled as if burnt,which he was, then dropped down writhing on the floor with the red aura still surrounding him and burning at a low pace that would slowly hurt him till he passed out but not die. Looking down at him without any emotion, she saw him still writhing and crying out in pain.
"I told you you will pay for that,"and with a hard kick of her boots, Johnn blacked out from the sheer force of the hit and the physical pain he was currently experiencing and his body needing an escape to it all. She heard a loud BOOOM! and proceeded to glance in the sounds direction while also taking in the field.
Thor was tackled into a container before he had time to react and was being punched over and over again each hit stronger than the last. Focusing again he caught one fist headed to him and punched his attacker as hard as he could at the moment which sent the figure crashing into a tall crane which came tumbling down from the sheer of of the collision. Summoning Miljonir he flew towards his attacker who was getting up and looking at him with anger filled eyes. His intention was to defeat this guy as fast as possible and help his team, little did he know that wasn't going to be easy. No sooner had he started towards Shazam than a barrage of missiles forced him to crash land to the dock past the pier into the water. Behind him was a large green construct of a fighter jet which Hal had willed into reality.
"What took you so long?!" Shazam shouted at Green lantern. "I was busy not getting eaten, that water has some creepy things up in there" said Hal while pointing at the water. Just then a hammer knocked Shazam out of the air tumbling down while it returned to its owner. "You don't know when to give up do you?!" said Hal while charging at him seeing that Shazam was temporarily dazed from the hit. Thor noticed his ring as his power source or focus point of his power just like Miljonir was to his and charged at him with the thought in mind.
Elsewhere flash was running left and right getting the nightshift port workers and the arriving police forces and news vans at bay from the destruction with his speed. His job was to minimize colateral damage with speeding people out of the way every now and then since the loud explosions and fighting would have attracted attention eventually. He could even see army and news helicopters flying by every now and then illuminating the port with their bright flood lights. "Mr Flash, Lois Lane here reporting for the Daily planet. Can I get a scoop on what's going on here?" Lois half shouted hoping the Flash would talk to her on her account of being close to the man of steel himself. Barry heard Lois lane voice while he ran about trying to maintain people behind the barrier at the ports gate and stopped for a moment to also catch his breadth. He'd been running since he arrived. "I can assure you Miss Lane that the Justice League will have this wrapped up in no time and p..." He was interrupted by a loud BOOOM! which made the observers take a step back including the fearless Lois Lane. "That's it, just step back a little from the barrier for your own safety. As you can hear, we are currently busy.." and with that he was gone in a blink of any eye heading to the battlefield to help in cleaning up expecting the Justice League to have handled everything by now.
Hulk felt the blue guy in a suit continue to drag him away while punching his back each punch propelling him further forwards till he collided with a high stack of containers which came tumbling down destroying the huge cargo ship that was awaiting to offload them. "That's one strong beast." said Superman cracking his muscles which was a little strained from dragging the monster for so long. That takes care of that he thought and scanned the port where fighting was going on when he saw no signs of the monster getting back up.
Just then a container came huddling towards him and barely catching in time floating a few meters back from the momentum,dropping it into the water he saw Hulk jump towards him with his fist ready to punch and a loud roar. A loud boom sounded from Superman going supersonic and meeting his fist head on with his own expecting Hulks hands to break upon impact from the sheer force alone. A loud BOOM which sent shockwaves in all directions was heard and the heroes near it weren't saved either. Green arrow and Hawkeye who were sill at a stalemate were both knocked out when they were thrown against a container by the sudden wave. Superman was shocked to see the Hulk still charging against him after their collision which sent them both flying in opposite directions. Deciding that continuing fighting with him would only destroy the Port, superman charged forward again towards his approaching foe who expected them to clash again head to head however superman had other ideas. A meter away from impact he flew closer to the ground dodging the fist thrown at him and gave the Hulk an uppercut which sent him flying up with superman zipping past the upward moving Hulk and wait for him with both his hands joined together to form a combined fist which he proceeded to punch Hulks chest with enough force to knock out Bizzaro. Hulks body collided with the ground creating a large crater and forcing various containers to topple on each other everywhere in the port as if an earthquake had just hit. Superman remained floating up in the sky watching the Hulk slowly get up and take in his surrounding before starting to breathe even harder showing that he was getting enraged again. Flying up suddenly putting a distance between him and the ground, he gathered himself before BOOOOM! He accelerated down one more time to deliver the final blow to the Hulk whom he had noticed could take on anything he dished out and also give back some. Never having used this technique on anyone except Darkseid, he was sure it would get the job done. Either knock the hulk out cold or simply end him, either way the destruction would stop and then he would help his team mates. Nearing impact, he saw the hulk suddenly look up and his eyes glow slightly green, determined he increased his speed to maximize the effect of the punch.
"You're so fucked now!" Batman noted the hint of joy in Tonys saddened filled voice when he saw most of his team mates down. "Are you sure we're looking at the same scene or did the EMP work a little too well?" He said looking down at him and quirking an eyebrow at the still sitted on his but tied armored guy.
"The sexy warrior lady who just knocked out Cap and Black widow made the big guy angry," Tony pointed out as if it was obvious and shuddered just imagining what was about to happen. During their time fighting crime as Avengers Hulk took it personally when anyone gravelly injured the non superpowered people in the team. He had concluded on his own that Hulk imagined them to be Banner in his human fragile form and they shouldn't be treated like that since they weren't exactly durable like banner who could take anything thanks to the hulk.
"Well our big guy is about to finish this whole thing and we arrest you lot!" Said batman with finality. Meanwhile Jarvis had long since rebooted but Tony was buying time and waiting for the right time to attack which would be sooner rather than later when he saw hulk reach level 3 angry with level 10 being World Breaker Hulk.
After getting knocked out of the sky and creating a large crater, hulk slowly crawled his way out the crater his body already healed the injuries gotten in seconds. Looking around he saw Thor inside a green bubble while two people floated in front of him while Wanda was alright, he couldn't see any sign of Tony that made him worry abit but when he saw how Wonder Woman brutally knocked out Steve and Natasha something snapped inside of him. You know what to do hulk heard Banners voice in his head. Still looking at how Nat lay motionless in the woman's arms, he felt himself getting more angry than he would like and didn't even hear banner whisper warnings in his head. He heard a loud boom again and knew what was coming, the man who hurt him and his friends. More angry than before he looked up to see Superman ready his punch aiming at him...then a loud KAABOOOOOOM! was heard and the crater sunk further down under the pressure that was put on it while shockwaves slammed into everything and everyone around them sending the unprepared or light away.
When the dust settled around, there were surprised gasps from the Justice league members who were still conscious since they were the ones who were underestimating the Hulk. A low continuous growl was coming from the Hulk who had stopped supermans punch with his palm then trapping him by enclosing the fist in his own and proceeding to apply pressure which increased by the minute due to him getting more angry at them. Superman was stunned by hulk not even flinching from his attack and his eyes glowed greener minute by the minute and his hand feeling like it was being crushed by a multi tone crusher which even his durability and strong bones was having difficulty not straining. Seeing his right hand was stuck in a vice grip from hulk, he brought forward his left punch with everything he's got but hulk caught that too now trapping both his arms. CRACK! Was heard as hulk head butted superman so hard that both their foreheads cracked under the force of the impact but both healed instantaneously while the force brought superman to his knees due to the difference in their height. Hulk having fought the likes of Abominations had no problem with pain or broken bones but it seemed superman was still knew at it given he was stronger than everything on earth. Noticing this and with great amount of strength, he broke both his wrists which released another shockwave from the great force being applied there. Crying out in pain and a little disoriented superman was then grabbed by the legs and was pummeled several times to the ground like Loki and Wonderwoman with the raging beast.
Noticing Wonderwoman coming to his aid hulk swatted her with supermans body like a baseball bat. The impact sent her crashing into the water while superman tried to use his heat vision on hulk. Hulk still didn't relent and fought through the pain and with one last strength he brought down superman hard into the ground. Feeling intense pain from his already healed bones and being disoriented from the blow,hearing a loud roar and looking up the last thing he saw was a giant green fist coming down at him again before everything went black. Hulk gathered all his strength in the moment and delivered a powerpunch to the powerful stubborn blue man which to his satisfaction manage to knock him out for some minutes.
Looking to his teammates he saw Thor had broken through the green construct with his Miljonir and managed to knock Green lantern into the water while Shazam was coming straight at him. With a roar he charged at the coming figure meeting it head on in a violent collision. Shazam saw the brute come at him and smirked increasing his speed meeting it head on. It was like colliding with an asteroid which pushed both of them back from the force of the collision. Still disoriented he saw the brute jump high...like really high and out of the port probably landing some miles away.
Batman could count on one hand the number of times he was both stunned and speechless and this was one of them. He had just seen superman get knocked out by the big green guy which gave Tony the distraction needed to use his hand blasters which had cut away the cord he was tied with and blast Batman in the chest knowing his Kevlar would make sure he wasn't hurt but was instead blasted back by the force. "Wanda take Nat and Cap and Clint and let's get out of here" he directed into his earpiece. Thor noticing the gesture from Iron man made a move to follow them out of the port while Hulk took giant leaps following them. They flew south hoping to avoid any more occurrences while they figured out what the hell was happening. "Jarvis, activate protocol star crossed." Tony spoke as he led the team away.
Batman came to when he heard all the mummuring around him but remained still trying to assess his situation and relaxed when he heard the familiar voices of the leaguers. Opening his eyes he saw he was in the watchtowers infirmary with his chest bandaged up. "He's awake" flash said getting the others attention.
"Situation report" came his monotone voice. "We're dealing with it, you need to rest" came Johnns reply after batman started getting out of the bed. "I've gotten enough rest, now tell me what happened." After being given a run down on everything that happened and the clean up he went to the monitor room and began typing.
"Cyborg already tried that..nothing worked" came Hal's voice. Bruce stopped working and sat down with a thoughtful face. "Why did you let them get away!?"he half shouted demanded. "We were all pretty out of it, the green guy took us by surprise," responded superman with a shrug. "They couldn't have gotten far without something or someone noticing a huge green guy"
"Actually we tracked his long range jumps to a point then they dissappeared" came Wonderwoman. Batman was becoming more and more agitated by every answer he got and that only generated more chest pain and a headache for him. "We were hacked," he said looking to cyborg for answers. "Well technically speaking nothing was accessed so no ha...they found a back door to the system. I've already sent patches and added the required source code to secure it." Cyborg stated after noticing Batmans glare. Getting up he walked to the monitors and activated the monitor powering up the teleporter. "Where're you going batman!? You NEED to be resting now!" Diana demanded. Bruce stopped just shy of the teleporter and looked over his shoulder, " home" was all he said before teleporting away. "Oh" Diana exclaimed turning a crimson red from embarrassing herself by her outburst at Bruce.
"What was that all about?" "Am I missing something?" Wondered Hal aloud while the others scattering about to continue their tasks.
Two days later...
Ben flew in the city in his jet ray form and landed on top of a giant globe on top of a sky scraper building. In a brief flash of green light he turned into ghost freak and went invisible incase anyone noticed him flying in or the green light from his changing. He was on high alert and didn't know what kind of earth this was and whether or not he had a doppelgänger there. Think Tennyson, what would grandpa max do if he was in my situation He flew down between the two buildings and changed in a flash of green when suddenly loud growls erupted from his stomach indicating him being hungry since he hadn't eaten for two days. Being in alien form makes me forget eating at times grandpa max had once chastised him for that.
It had taken him a lot longer to reach civilization because after getting out of the forest which he found out that it was The Amazon forest, his earth had it too he had flown towards USA using jetray since he was faster than most his flying aliens and to some degree XLR8. He had stopped to foil a crime or two along the way thus delaying him further not that he complained since he too didn't know what he was looking for. Getting out the alley, he made his way to a hot dog vendor at the street corner who seems like was getting work done with the long line of people in suits and notebooks buying take away. Probably going to eat in the office he concluded and proceeded to queue like the rest of them.
UNCATALOGUED ALIEN DNA DETECTED preparing to scan... flashed in computerized form in front of eyes. "SHIT!" He exclaimed suddenly then lowered his hood hiding from the stares directed at him for his colorful language. He had forgotten the Omnitrix activated that function when Trixx was formed. His eyes could act as Trixx HUD and still allow him to see without discomfort. It was merely a necessity to help him understand the Omnitrix better and also use the Omnitrix quantum computer processing power when dealing with modernized problems. He had Trixx disable the function since Kevin and Gwen were all the company he needed at that time and Trixx analyzing anything he saw wasn't exactly helping either.
It seems some functions in the Omnitrix like DNA sampling could override any command in the watch till the required sample was identified, retrieved, catalogued and stored in their digitized forms. Having being activated, his eyes looked around him trying to identify the alien. If Trixx says there's an alien here then there surely is one any person his eyes landed on Trixx proceeded to scan the said person with Ben watching his eyes suddenly operating like a computer screen giving Trixx mental commands which she immediately followed by displaying the said person gender, age, physical attributes and some more minor information that could be analyzed at a moments notice then cleared each by writing SPECIE : HUMAN. All this was done and organized simply that Ben could follow what was happening.
A person walking away from him with a woman in his arms was identified by Trixx in bold letters SPECIE : UNKNOWN then the earlier words of UNCATALOGUED ALIEN DNA DETECTED kept flashing as if a danger alert was being issued. Knowing the watch wouldn't do anything until the DNA was retrieved, he forego food for some minutes longer and started following the two people. Noting how everything was somehow similar yet so different to his own world, he mentally commanded Trixx to tap into the networks available and find out everything she could about this new world. In a brief minute he saw millions of lines of code pass through his vision before a small rectangular bar with a writing processing 2%... appeared while increasing rapidly by the second, then was pushed to the bottom of his vision to finish processing.
Ben knew Trixx was probably hacking the whole internet itself to get the information needed since she well had the processing and storage power to back up the fact. Galvan tech and programming was superior to most if not all computer programming. He was suddenly grabbed into the alley way he had changed from, how ironic he thought.
After grabbing lunch with his girlfriend Lois Lane in form of take away at their daily vendor, they proceeded to head back to the planet to finish up a story they were working on about the incident that happened at the port. Luckily for them no footage regarding the incident was available to the public and it was up to Lois to come up with something to tell the public since it was well known she dealt with any news regarding the Justice League.
They had agreed to blame the whole thing on miscommunication between the two groups that day but had bent a little truth to favour both sides since from Batmans side of the whole story they didn't seem like bad people and only fought to defend themselves. That's when he noticed they were being followed by the same person for a few blocks now. His heightened senses always aware of everything around him at all times lest even he loose control and hurt someone. Having signaled Lois by writing we're being followed on a newspaper he carried with him. Slowing his pace down till the tail was closer to him, he moved at the speed of light and dragged him to the alley while Lois stayed back to check if anyone saw anything. (She had found out about his secret a long time ago)
"Who are you and what do you want!" Superman said demanding answers.
"Well that explains the alien part" was all he said before lifting his left arm that housed his watch which was now rotating with a yellow light replacing the green that was on the hour glass symbol and parts of the watch. Having heard the word Alien he let go of the guy as if burned just as Lois was joining him with her mouth agape as she also heard him.
Ben taking this opportunity to give the Omnitrix what it wants fast incase there would be trouble and he needed to transform, raised his left hand and the face plate of the watch sliding up then a yellow beam of light shot up to Superman and scanned him twice from head to toe then retracted back into position and the green color of the Omnitrix returned to it.
SAMPLE ACQUIRED...PROCESSING... flashed briefly in Bens eyes and then was minimized then looked a head only to be forced up the wall again by the now recovered alien. Looking at them, Trixx briefly scanned their face and displayed their information to him in his eyes as if she already had a file on each of them. "I mean you no harm Lois Lane and Clark Kent or as they call you Superman." Ben said then chocked out when superman knocked him n the wall again.
It took all his self restrain not to go HERO because by what he read and was told by Trixx was that he was a hero of this world so it was just miscommunication. (Yes Trixx could communicate to him telepathically since she computerized his brain and having an AI as a subconscious could come in handy at times. "How do you know who we are?!" Superman demanded of the stranger. "Are you working for Lex Luthor?" At the mention of his name Trixx displayed the relevant information on Lex Luthor which made him speak out in a hurry.. "No no no no no no, I don't even know the dude, no I was merely curious," Lois didn't know if it was her reporters instincts but she placed her hand on Clarks shoulders and he seemed to relax then let go of the guy. Landing on his feet he looked thankfully at Lois and slightly glared at Clark.
"Is that how you people deal with visitors in this place? Sheeesh!" He joked while rubbing his sore throat Dude got strength he thought. "Who are you and what did you just do to me?" Clark asked while gritting his teeth already impatient for an answer.
"I'm Ben 10" was all he said as if it was enough to answer anything. Ben didn't see any recognition on their faces when he said his name making a mental note that he didn't exist in this universe. "I'm sorry, Ben Tennyson" he replied again extending his hands for a shake then continued, "Nothing to worry about, my watch collects Alien DNA from time to time, no harm to it" said while raising both arms showing he didn't have any ill will towards them. "How do you know who I am and our identities if you've never seen any of us before?" Superman asked wanting to decide if he should be restrained.
"Well my watch being a DNA hub for sentient life form it can detect an alien when in close proximity to it and in knowing who you are I just do, after all glasses don't conceal anything that well." Looking to Lois for confirmation on what he was thinking and seeing her nod her head he called it in. "Superman to watchtower, requesting for teleportation, over." Grabbing Ben they both teleported out of there leaving Lois to walk back to the office alone. The moment Ben read about their base in space he wanted to go there and superman calling it in just made things easier. It didn't disappoint either, it was very modernized and huge with various superheroes running about. Ever since the incident in the port everyone was on duty till the group was either located or arrested.
Trixx brought forth the building plans for the watchtower and scanned it and the digital manual available thus making Ben know around it as if he had been a member from the very first day. How do you keep doing that? mentally asking Trixx while superman led him to what he now knew would be the interrogating room. I do approximately one million tasks per second and that's barely using 1% of my processor speed she half bragged. You know what I mean...all these new information about this world he thought with a roll of his eyes. You instructed me to retrieve information about this earth and that's what I did she explained to him what she did while superman had left him in the interrogation room. She had hacked every known database known to this earth, copied every single file on then while syncing herself to them to retrieve any new information added to them, then analysed all the information and categorized them as well as she could including the database in the watchtower. How did you manage to do that in this short time, and how did you know the guy was superman he asked as all the information processed was showed to him by Trixx. This earths tech is still far from being at per with even the lowest sentient life forms so with my quantum processor developed by Azmuth himself this was child's play to me and I also found databases of some social media platforms among others then analysed and synced every profile with as most information as possible I could get thus creating a facial recognition database of my own, this including this earths criminals too came Trixx voice.
Pondering all this he didn't notice people looking at him from the other double sided mirror glass. Superman, batman and Johnn were watching the guy who from their estimate was about 22 years of age, well built (obviously partaked in exercise routines just like them and also looked to be deep in thought staring blankly in front of him) "what do you think?" Superman asked them. Johnn looked interested at the oversized green watch, "you said it scanned you?" For the hundredth time "Yes" "and yes I feel perfectly fine" he added looking at batman who was about to say something but stopped.
"What did he want?" Batman asked tensely, a person who could identify superman in a crowd in his civilian clothes could be a potentially powerful friend or enemy, first the group then this guy what game are they playing Bruce thought while watching the guy. "Ummmmm... I don't want anything actually..well I just wanted something to eat." Came the reply from the speaker attached to the wall between the two rooms.
"You didn't say anything about his superhearing," retorted Batman to superman. "I didn't think.." Clark started defending himself before being interrupted again. "Actually I don't have superhearing, I'm able to see you through the camera in your room and I switched on the microphone," Ben smirked when he saw Bruce frown for a moment then mask it. Superman turned to batman, "I think a system upgrade is in order" while thinking of how they were hacked again earlier but cyborg having said he fixed the problem they didn't dwell on that because he was CYBORG after all.
While staring at the files displayed for him by Trixx he tapped into the security feed and proceeded to look through the rooms avoiding the accommodation department since well, he didn't want a repeat of the plumber base incident. He saw Clark looking through the glass at him with who he now knew as batman and the Martian. The door opened with them stepping inside.
No sooner had The Martian entered the room than all the programs running in his peripheral vision halted and the words UNCATALOGUED ALIEN DNA DETECTED preparing to scan.. flashed and the watched turned yellow again while the face plate slid up rotating as it did so earlier. As if expecting it to do that from supermans description, Johnn went intangible as soon as a beam of yellow light shot towards him from the watch. He was surprised to find out it scanned him twice from head to toe then retracting back to the watch which then returned to normal regardless of him intangible, the other two in shock too from the expressions on their face.
SAMPLE ACQUIRED...processing flashed briefly before disappearing. "Intangibility...cool" Ben quipped actually impressed by this alien. This seemed to break them out of their shock then batman ordered, "EXPLAIN!" Looking at him for a moment, "only because you asked so nicely Bruce" smirking at his widened eyes at the mention of his name. "It's been programmed like that..the Omnitrix can scan any sentient life form whether it is tangible or not now can I atleast have a soda?" Came the short reply. Nodding batman gave instructions to his earpiece then focused on Ben again.
"How do you know who I am?!" Came the demand. "Facial recognition software or is that not a thing here?" Replied shrugging. "Try again, I know for a fact no F.R.S can link Bruce and batman together, I made sure of that for every leagers identity. "Let's just say mine is more advanced" just the a red blur rushed into the room, placed a soda and burger infront of him then stood beside superman with his arms crossed.
"Just like I know that's Barry Allen, works forensics for the police and is currently dating Iris West as of thirty minutes ago according to her Facebook page," Ben surmised as he began eating letting them process that information first.
"WHAT! OFFICIALLY DATING?!" Screamed the flash pulling his phone out for confirmation and just as he did he was out of there in a flash screaming Hal's name. "That's what he got from all that?" Johnn mused as flash disappeared. "Our scanners didn't pick up any electronic device on you apart from that watch, where is your database stored and where is the computer you are currently using to hack us with?"added superman before being side tracked again. "My mind" tapping the side of his head. Ben saw Clark focus for a minute then frown a bit. "There's no mechanical enhancements to your brain to back up your statement."accused superman. Ben just shrugged,"Doesn't mean it's not the truth." Just then cyborg came into the room hoping to speak to batman.
"I know we've been hacked again." "How?!" Batman looked at him. Thinking better he rephrased his question, " who?" "Him" pointing to Ben. Looking between the two cyborg asked gain exasperated. "How?!" Ben didn't look like a capable hacker to him. "It's what we're trying to figure out." Ben had since stopped eating and was looking at cyborg whom Trixx was already analyzing and coming to a conclusion he was a human who was enhanced by mechanical parts that seemed too advance to be found on this earth. Cyborg also analyzed Ben and his watch getting an error message each time in his mechanical's eye HUD to what the device and Ben were but he did detect a large power source in the device. It almost looked like it was a clean self sufficient energy power source.
"Why do you have a self sufficient energy reactor in your watch and how is it not imploding on itself?" Cyborg asked. Batman gritt his teeth making a mental note to really analyse that watch of his. "Oh,it powers the Omnitrix and because this is the most powerful device in many galaxies."
"No it's not kid, this is," Hal pointed at the ring in his finger while walking into the interrogation room and scanning Bens watch with his ring which inturn read error when he conjured a screen to view the results. "Huh! So they don't know everything," he said meaning the guardians vast knowledge which in turn extended to them. Trixx scanned the ring the minute Hal stepped into the room displaying the results to Bens eyes. It named it Unknown weapon. And some description on how the ring was physically made but only showed that it stored a large amount of energy at given periods of time and it is rechargeable. "It's not powerful if it has to be recharged every now and then," replied Ben comply while Hal looked like ready to throw out curse words.
"Okay, who the hell told him?!" "Damn this place has no secrets" was all he murmured before exiting the room. "I can't read him!.." Johnn said suddenly. He'd been trying to read his mind from the moment he saw him but could only get a read on the thoughts he was thinking presently and nothing further. "How is that possible!?" Asked an astonished superman. "I..I...I don't know." All eyes turning to Ben for an explanation.
Meanwhile in a now very modernized cave in the Amazon jungle sat a group of people who were monitoring and researching about the people they encountered and what type of problem they were in now. With the occasional one of them going back to USA to gather more information and the supplies they needed in their safe zone.
Ben had explained to the league members whom by now he had met almost all the founding members how his watch worked and about Trixxie and about his home world and how he ended up in their universe and also how the Omnitrix safeguarded him from psychic attacks and ghost possessions. "They may not be criminals," was all he said since according to the footage he dug up in Luthors servers showed that they were just as confused as any time traveler would be and that if superman hadn't made the first move none of that violence would have taken place. He was really intrigued by the green raging monster. "And why does Luthor have a footage that not even us have?" Superman asked. "He's Luthor." Came Batmans reply to which everyone just nodded.
"You have a really powerful device..." Batman started "I know" "Good so don't lose it" "I won't". Turning to superman he said, "we need to find those people and bring them in" then looked at the remaining members of the league including Wonder Woman who was still processing everything Ben told them. Hera! was all she thought.
"I can help with that." Before commanding Trixxie to search for them. Calculating probabilities with the evidence and information provided with the Justice league she narrowed a possible area the size of a city in the Amazon jungle. "I've found them, I'll go convince them to come and meet you guys properly and NO I will not tell you where they are" "how powerful is Trixxie?" Batman was curious. "She's quantum" and that statement alone made batman choke on his saliva and cyborg to just stare at Ben blankly because that kind of processing power was still light years ahead of them.
They were still at super computers, now he really needed to examine everything on that watch and now coming to think of it he knew that only a processing power that powerful could manage the calculations needed to help Ben transform safely and also handle the complex calibrations of the Omnitrix. "Okay, head out". As soon as he saw superman fighting he knew he was powerful and definately wanted to try it out so he mentally commanded Trixxie to activate the first foreign sample found and with a flash of green he transformed into his own kryptonian. Everyone covered their eyes for a brief moment due to the bright green light then stared awed by what they were seeing while Wonder Woman had a light shade of pink coloring her cheeks.
Ben looked to be around 28 years old, was more buff than superman while he had short hair, sparkling blue eyes and a well chiseled face of a model with a white fitting shirt with a green stripe showing his muscles and a green with a white spot leather jacket with number 10 written in white on the back and the Omnitrix on his left hand. Black jeans and sports shoes. In overall if Wonder Woman thought superman was hot, then Ben was like the sun. "Cool." Was all he said looking at himself and feeling the power in his muscles. "I think I'll keep this one for a while," grinned Ben still flexing his muscles. "Yeah...I forgot to mention that the omnitrix aliens are the prime example aliens of those species," no one doubted him still looking at him.
"So you have all my powers?" "Yes and don't worry,I'm experienced enough to use them with the restraint required" and also Trixx could still be seen in his eyes displaying information as always. Concentrating a little he floated in air till he reached the ceiling then came down. Using the kryptonian form made Ben feel very powerful, maybe it had something to do with absorbing the yellow sun radiation. He only ever felt this powerful when he used the ultimate aliens so he just imagined what a kryptonians ultimate form could be capable of doing.
"Does that mean you can now turn into a Martian too?"asked a worried Johnn. "Yes I can..Oh! I can also stay in any form as long as I want without changing back to the normal me." The Justice league just kept getting surprises every time ever since meeting Ben. "And just to confirm, you can also turn by only thinking about it?" "Yes I can."replied Ben while landing on the floor again. "Okay...I guess we have a tie at the most powerful weapon.." Hal joked to ease the tension. "That's an understatement." Wonder woman murmured to herself but with the amount of eyes looking at her they heard her. "Well I better get going," Bens voice brought them out of their stupor. "Yes,the sooner we deal with this the sooner we find out what is happening,"came Batmans reply. "You can survive in space right?" Ben had to be sure even though Trixx had listed it among the aliens powers. "Of Course," came supermans smug voice. "I like kryptonians more and more." Ben smirked before taking off towards the hanger where it was already being opened. Flying out,he shot towards the Amazon jungle quickly disappearing from their radar.
"Now he's just showing off," came Barry's voice. "I just hope he's one of the good guys because just think about all the alien hero and villains he could scan using his watch..." Shazam who had been quiet till now commented. He'd been busy thinking about how he would take him down if he was to be evil, still angry from losing to the hulk and the hammer guy. "How do you even restrain someone with that kind of power? Not to mention how many people will want it for themselves once they hear of it." Hal commented already planning to go to Oa to discuss this with the guardians. "Let's just hope it doesn't come to that." Were the last words said before them disbanding to various directions.
Somewhere in the Jungle
"So they have a base of operations in space!?"asked Tony in wonderment.
"Yeah,I wonder why you never thought of that Tony" answered Natasha who was scrolling through footages of the Justice league. "Yeah, well..the towers still sweet" Tony defended angrily while Natasha merely smirked. Hawkeye who had gone for a supply run with Wanda came back in that exact time. "I think they are the heroes of this place and thought that we were the villains, a case of miscommunication." Wanda gave her opinion. The cave they had turned into their base of operations was one which Bruce Banner used as a safe house when the government was hunting him. They then tricked it out to allow accommodation too, a perfect hideout deep inside the harshest forest in the world. Tony had set up a lab with the devices they managed to acquire in their runs and they were linked up using solar panels supplemented by Tony's arc reactor as power sources.
"I think we should send one person to go and explain this unfortunate misunderstanding to them,"voiced Cap. Nodding their heads agreeing he continued.."I will go tomorrow and contact them so that we can come to an understanding." said with a finality in his voice which intoned there was no room for arguing. "The blue guy is very strong," commented Banner. "He punches stronger than Abomination and Thor..the big guy had to boost his power each time they came to a stale mate." "But it's a good thing he knocked him out because we wouldn't have escaped otherwise."commented a grateful Natasha.
"Yeah, although he's strong he's no much for the hulk." "The one I fought with had powers similar to myself." Thor finally spoke up. "We had to start pounding each other because neither could hurt each other with lightning." "They do have unique powers, since they have a shapeshifter and mind reader" commented Wanda. "Not forgetting the gorgeous Warrior woman who kicked the crap out of Cap" commented a chuckling Tony. "Oh yeah? What about the costume guy who beat you plus Jarvis, and he's just human by what reports say." Nat smirked towards Tony. "Jeez! What did I do to deserve this!?"lamented Tony. "If it weren't for me you wouldn't have known satellite blindspots while escaping thus making us untraceable."he retorted back, "Yeah..well.."
"Not necessarily" Nat was cut off by the unfamiliar voice followed by a bright green flash that blinded everyone for some seconds then came another unfamiliar deep base voice.
"Hey, I'm Ben."
