This Fanfiction takes place in japan during the sengoku period, to precise 1590 so the end (Sengoku period: 1470s-1603/15) of the period. The main character will be Hōjō Ujinobu and his twin brother Ujikatsu, Both are sons of Hōjō Ujiyasu (not real just fiction). This chapter isn't the start of the story, it's basic information because I'm sure none of you know anything about japanese early history
First of, The history behind the Hōjō. The later Hōjō clan was founded by Hōjō Soun, The clan became a great power during the turbulent times of the Ogigayatsu and Yamanouchi Uesugi clans and grew ever more under the leadership of Hōjō Ujitsuna and his son Ujiyasu. In 1546 Hōjō Tsunashige repelled, together with his brother-in-law Ujiyasu, The coalition of the both Uesugi clans and the Shimosa Koga Kubo (Branch of the Ashikaga).
After this victory Hōjō Ujiyasu conquered all of Shimosa and Musashi and big parts of Kozuke province and established him self as the ruler of Kantō (Region of feudal japan) When Ujiyasu died his son Ujimasa took over the clan
and allied himself with the Oda clan. After the Honno-ji incedent, Ujimasa enraged Toyotomi Hideyoshi the de-facto ruler of Japan leading to the siege of Odawara and the annihilation of the Hōjō.
But what if that didn't happend? That scenario will be explained soon.
