The Pride ring was buzzing... or at least the bar Fizz and Blitz were in was. The two were drinking beers and having a fun time.

"Well, Fizz, my oldest friend, hope you're enjoying your last night as a free man." Blitz said.

"You make it sound like I'm going to prison." Fizz said with a chuckle, "I'm just getting married."

"I know, but soon you'll be gone and out of my life forever!" Blitz said, being a bit dramatic.

"HA! And I thought being married was already good enough."

"Ah, fuck you." Blitz said, "So... feeling nervous?"

"Honestly? Incredibly nervous." Fizz said, "I mean, Emily and Charlie already call me Uncle, but... tomorrow I will be their uncle."

"And you'll be great at it. Well, as great as you already are." Blitz said with a grin. "It'll be great practice for when you have a kid someday or adopt like I did with Loonie."

"I bet, though I don't think I'll ever be as good of a father as you." Fizz said.

"Hehehehe, yeah. I guess I am pretty great." Blitz said with a proud grin.

The two drank their beers.

"So how are you and Verosika doing?" Fizz asked.

Blitz had a moment where his face dropped.

"I mean… we text… like once or twice month, but… I don't know." Blitz said, "It's been a year since the anti-blitz party… it just feels like I'm not moving forward with anything."

"Which means you aren't going backwards either." Fizz said.

"And that means I'm stuck in place between decent and shitty." Blitz said with a small sigh. "Im Ditty."

"No. I think your past decent, it takes a lot to admit you faults and grow from them." Fizz said with a smile.

"You know, Fizz, let's not talk about this stuff, this is your night." Blitz said, "And I hear you're now a Great Uncle as well. How's that going? Teach the kid any slurs yet?"

"Blitz, she's eight months old, she can barely keep her eyes open for thirty minutes." Fizz said, "I've only seen her for like two days, the Queens are VERY protective of her."

"How protective?" Blitz asked as a joke.

"They could order one of their servants to execute another if they even LOOKED at Lucy the wrong way." Fizz said.

"Oh shit…" Blitz said in surprise.

"Yeah, don't mess with them." Fizz said, "Luckily I have uncle privileges that keep me safe from that... you? Not so much."

"Hey, I'm not looking to babysit the new princess. Or change her unholy diapers." Blitz said with a shiver.

"Hey, the kid is 3/4 angel, I'd say they're holy diapers." Fizz said, taking a swig of beer, "How's business been?"

"I got a few people to kill this weekend, no big deal." Blitz said, shrugging. "Got to do it alone since M and M are a bit busy with their future child."

"Kinda glad to hear about Millie being pregnant." Fizz said, smiling. "Those two deserve it, they're the definition of love."

"Yeah... which is good for you because I'm pretty sure Millie wanted to kill you after the whole Ozzie's incident." Blitz said with a cheeky grin.

"It was almost two years ago, come on!" Fizz said.

"When that woman hates you, good luck getting off that list." Blitz said, pointing at the bar counter.

Fizzarolli groaned as he chugged the rest of his beer, just what he needed in his conscious.

A brutal, potentially revenge craved soon to be mother.

He then got a phone call. He pulled out his phone and looked at it.

"Well, looks like your soon to be husband is calling." Blitz said.

"Yeah, sorry, I have to take this." Fizz said, standing up, "I'll be right back."

Fizz walked away and Blitz leaned against the bar. He pulled out his phone and went to his messages. He started typing, and thankfully Asmodues had paid for him to take a writing class. He started typing.

'Stolas, it's been a while since we last spoke and I... I'm sorry for...'

He deleted it and put his phone away. For the past year, it was the same thing, try to reach out, but never click send... he didn't have it in him to do so.

'Ugh! Why can't I just sent a simply text?' Blitz thought.

He put his head and the bar when Fizz came back.

"You good buddy?" Fizz asked.

"Yeah… yeah, just too much beer." Blitz said, pulling his head up and smiling a bit. "Come on, the night is young and we have a lot more places to check out."

He put an arm around Fizz's shoulder and the two left the bar… and Blitz tried to forget the failed text…. Stolas probably didn't want to speak to him anyway.
