Chapter 7

Hoth

As Obi-Wan approached the ice planet Hoth, he began to ponder the questions he would ask him. After all he had only met two Autobots and from what he had gathered they seemed friendly enough. Suddenly a transmission had began to come into his comlink.

"Unidentified craft this is Ultra Magnus. You are entering a restricted airspace. Remain where you are and prepare for scanning." Ultra Magnus said.

"This is Jedi master Obi-Wan Kenobi. My masters recently made contact with you and I was hoping to meet you in hopes that you could shed some light on the subject of Senator Amidala."said Obi-Wan.

There was a long pause until Ultra Magnus finally allowed Obi-Wan to enter the atmosphere. "Very well but know that you'll be monitored as you land master Kenobi. Proceed to the hanger and we will meet." Said Ultra Magnus.

As Obi-Wan flew his ship through the snow and over the snow covered plains he made his way to a hangar where three giant robots were waiting to receive Kenobi.

One of the robots stepped forward and said "I am Ultra Magnus, this is Springer and Arcee." Magnus said pointing to the pink and green autobots.

Obi-Wan bowed and said "The Jedi council had informed me that you wanted to meet. I assume it has something to do with the events that had taken place on Coruscant."

"Yes it does." Said Ultra Magnus. "As you can probably tell we're not the only autobots you've encountered. After the war on Cybertron the Allspark, our source of life, was jettisoned from our planet to the far reaches of the galaxy. It was then that we had discovered a device that could locate the Allspark, so we could find it bring it back to Cybertron and rebuild it.

"In order for this device to work it needs five keys to operate it. Unfortunately these keys were also scattered across the universe so Optimus Prime divided what was left of the Autobots into teams to find these keys"said Ultra Magnus.

They continued to talk as they made their way into a large room with a giant computer. "Here we can monitor the progress of our search for the keys through our main computer. We've already obtained two of the keys one on Rodia, and the other on Alderaan." Said Ultra Magnus.

"Why would Senator Amidala be in possession of one of these keys?" Asked Obi-Wan.

"As you already know the people of Naboo greatly loved the senator. So as a parting gift ,not knowing the significance of the object, they gave her what seemed like an ordinary emerald necklace."said Ultra Magnus.

"That would explain why the decepticons wanted to destroy her on the landing platform on Coruscant." Said Obi-Wan.

"Exactly"said Ultra Magnus.

"Thank you for meeting me and sharing this information with me, I must go to Kamino to seek answers to why a bounty hunter was trying to kill the senator". Said Obi-Wan.

"Kamino?! Our medical officer Ratchet is on Kamino. The Kaminoans contacted us some time ago asking us for help with a project for the republic. We sent Ratchet there to see if he could lend his intelligence to help." Said Ultra Magnus.

"If I come across him I will let him know that you sent me there."said Obi-Wan.

Obi-Wan bowed to the Autobots and returned to his ship making his way to Kamino and hopefully the end of the mystery.

Well here's the latest chapter sorry I took so long things have been crazy this year but I hope you guys enjoy this chapter and I don't own any thing except maybe this chapter as for the characters not mine hope you guys like this one until then...
