So I think you were all excited for this one. It's finally time to show you what a Numbuh 451/Sector Z team up. It's gonna be one wild ride, so buckle up!

"You're getting a lot better with flying, Const-er, Numbuh 0.5," Numbuh 451 said. Much to her joy, she had been allowed to team up with Sector Z for a new assignment. From what she could tell, the younger kids were just as excited to join their idol/older sister figure for the job.

"...Thanks," Numbuh 0.5 said softly, but Numbuh 451 was still able to pick up on it.

"So what's this mission even about?" Numbuh 0.2 asked as he fiddled with a piece of 2x4 technology. He was pretty sure Numbuh 100 had mentioned what it was, but the hype of working with Numbuh 451 was all he really remembered.

"Some wannabee adult villain is planning to reveal a new weapon that he's hoping will impress the CEO of Evil Adult Industry." Numbuh 0.1 recapped. "Our mission is to sabotage the weapon before anything is shown off."

"Then we'll have to be quick." Numbuh 451 said with a smirk. "How far out are we?" Numbuh 0.5 merely pointed towards the navigation system.

"So what's the plan, Numbuh 0.1?" Numbuh 0.4 asked as he pounded a fist into an open palm.

"Numbuh 0.4, Numbuh 0.2 and myself will be the distraction, attacking the guy from the front," Numbuh 0.1 began as he pointed to each operative in question. He then turned to Numbuh 0.3 and Numbuh 451. "You two will be handling the actual sabotage. I trust it should be quick."

"C'mon! We're us! We can handle it!" Numbuh 0.3 replied. Numbuh 451 just nodded, again, still smirking.

"Finally, Numbuh 0.5 will be on alert so we can easily escape. Reports say that the guy's house is heavily guarded so we'll likely need to make a quick escape. Unless, of course, Numbuh 451 and Numbuh 0.3's sabotage doesn't disable them." Numbuh 0.1 finished his explanation as he crossed his arms. "So, do you think you can handle it?"

"Please! I've done way worse," Numbuh 451 assured everyone.

"What she said," Numbuh 0.4 said for his sector. "We're already on track to be the best the KND has ever seen! How bad can one old hermit be?"

"Not sure what I was expecting, but that guy looks like someone who would be making weapons to fight kids," Numbuh 0.3 said as she watched her sector mates do battle with the inventor. He was rather overweight, to the point where basic movement seemed to make him sweat buckets, had messy hair while also clearly going bald and his outfit was covered in tears and stains of various things.

"No kidding," Numbuh 451 agreed with a nod. "Let's get inside and get to work." Much to both girl's joy, a back window was open. It turned out to lead into a lab.

"So I know we're not here for it, but I feel like we should take care of this place too," Numbuh 0.3 admitted. "How many explosives do you have?"

"Enough," Numbuh 451 said as she removed the backpack she was wearing and opened it up, revealing several different types of explosives, most of them her designs. She then pulled a pack of gum out, handing several pieces of it to Numbuh 0.3. "Chew this and we can make some sticky bombs."

"Awesome! You go all the way with this stuff!" Numbuh 0.3 marveled as she popped a piece into her mouth.

"What can I say? I'm an artist," Numbuh 451 smugly said as she pulled her piece of gum out and stuck it to one of her explosives before sticking it onto a nasty looking piece of machinery. Numbuh 0.3 copied her action, but instead put it on a closed tool box. "You sure we shouldn't open that up?"

"With how powerful your stuff is?" Numbuh 0.3 responded. "It will turn the whole thing to dust."

"Well excuse me for trying to be humble!" Numbuh 451 replied with a laugh as she popped another piece of gum into her mouth. This was gonna be one of her finest works yet….

"You'll never steal my work! NEVER!" The inventor, who the boys of Sector Z had rather quickly learned was named Doctor Ools due to the man's ability to ramble endlessly during even the heat of battle, was turning out to be a shockingly tough opponent. Even though he was clearly out of shape, he also had several small mech suits that he could summon at a moment's notice, each one loaded to the teeth with weapons. Of course, Sector Z were no slouches themselves, so the match quickly turned into a stalemate.

"Numbuh 0.1! How much longer do you think we can keep this up?" Numbuh 0.2 asked his leader as they dove behind the same piece of cover. Doctor Ools moved to attack them, but Numbuh 0.4 was quick to intercept him, quite literally punching a hole through the mech, causing the doctor to angrily discard it and summon yet another one.

"As long as it takes for the girls to destroy all of this guy's work," Numbuh 0.1 responded. "Of course, I'm just worried we'll bust up all this guy's mechs before they're done."

"YOU'LL NEVER DEFEAT THE GREAT DOCTOR OOLS! I HAVE ENOUGH MECHS TO OUTNUMBER THE ENTIRE KIDS NEXT DOOR!" The doctor promptly yelled out as he tried to target Lenny, who took the chance to pull back and try to figure out the weakness of this mech suit.

"Hopefully, it's not lying about that number…" Numbuh 0.2 nervously noted as he took aim in hopes of backing up Lenny, who was still trying to dodge more attacks.

"How many labs does this nut have?" Numbuh 451 whisper yelled as she and Numbuh 0.3 finished planting explosives in yet another room. At this point, she was almost worried she didn't bring enough explosives, or at least not enough that everything would be destroyed, as was ordered.

"Too many," Numbuh 0.3 bitterly said as she finished tearing apart yet another blueprint before stepping on the pieces.

"Didn't like what you saw?" Numbuh 451 asked. She didn't get a chance to look at most of the blueprints, so learning what was on them could have been interesting.

"It was a ray that prevented kids from eating anything other than vegetables," Numbuh 0.3 explained, her voice full of venom. She then sighed. "Hey, Numbuh 451, could I ask you something?"

"What's up?" Numbuh 451 asked as she dug through the mad doctor's drawers, looking for any extra objects she could turn into explosives.

"Why do so many adults hate kids?" Numbuh 0.3 asked, deciding to just ask. "Like, some of them are good like your parents or the nice people that run the orphanage we stay at but…people like this guy and those old mean ladies who kept us for slave labor are always trying to hurt us."

"I can't tell you," Numbuh 451 said earnestly as she sighed. "Maybe it's better we don't. Adults…some of them care about us. Want to see us happy. But some of them think that just because they're older or whatever, they're older than us. But I don't want to understand. I feel like if I do…then I'm closer to being an adult."

"...I didn't think about it like that," Numbuh 0.3 admittedly sadly. Aging was something that every kid feared, especially if you were in the Kids Next Door and you crept closer and closer to that big one three.

"Maybe we shouldn't," Numbuh 451 said as she finished her digging, now having several extra items. She then pointed to the kitchen table, where a strange looking ray gun sat. "Looks like that's our target. You ready for a firework show?"

"Let's make it something that Doctor Ools will never forget!" Numbuh 0.3 declared as she took a couple of the already made explosives off Numbuh 451, who got to work on crafting a couple extra.

In destruction missions, it was always best to go overboard.

As Numbuh 0.1 dove back behind another broken mech suit, he took notice of his communicator blinking. Clicking on it, he cupped it with his hand in order to make sure that Doctor Ools didn't hear. "This better be good. We're almost worn down here!"

"We're done! But you guys should probably get out of there because we planted A LOT of explosives and I feel like it would be better to watch this from a safe distance…unless you guys want scars like mine." Numbuh 451 revealed. Numbuh 0.1 didn't need to be told twice.

"Numbuh 0.2! Numbuh 0.4! Fall back! We're done here!" Numbuh 0.1 called out. Both of the other boys seemed to get what was going on, quickly running back towards the treeline. They could hear Doctor Ools taunting them, but no one could pick up on what was being said. Luckily, the S.C.A.M.P.E.R wasn't too far.

"How long till the bombs go off?" Numbuh 0.2 asked once everyone was aboard and Numbuh 0.5 got airborne.

"I think it should be right about…NOW!" Numbuh 451 declared as she pointed to the window. As if on cue, the sky was full of light and various fireworks, a few of which had messages.

"You don't do things halfway, do you?" Numbuh 0.1 had to ask, even if he was still enjoying the show just as much as everyone else.

"Hey! We're the Kids Next Door! We don't just stop at half way," Numbuh 451 said with a proud laugh as she made yet another tally mark on her sniper rifle. "Now let's get out of here! Lucky Lime's on me tonight!"

Back on the ground, Doctor Ools was nowhere near as happy as the operatives now heading off to celebrate. How had he been so foolish!? Of course things were too easy on purpose! Anyone should have been able to figure out that the kids were playing him for a fool and yet he blundered right into their little game.

"I do hope this isn't what you wanted to show me, Doctor Ools," The doctor's blood ran cold at the voice behind him. Slowly turning around, he tried to collect his thoughts.

"M-M-M-Mr. Wigglestein!" He nervously stuttered. "You're e-e-e-early!"

"With the importance you placed on this device, I assumed that it would be a good idea to see it as soon as possible." Even without his powers, Doctor Ools could see the fire in the other man's eyes. "Now I think it would be a good idea for you to prove that I didn't just waste my time."

"I STILL HAVE THE BLUEPRINTS!" Doctor Ools replied, voice frantic as he dug them out his coat pocket. "Like I said, it should be able to turn any snot brat into an adult's perfect child!" Mr. Wigglestein snatched them out of the other man's shaking hands and began looking over him, his expression unreadable.

"...This design would be far too expensive to work in the way you want it to." He said after a few seconds. Doctor Ools opened his mouth to protest, but Mr. Wigglestein refused to get a word in. "However, what you want to do interests me gratefully. How would you like to possibly turn this into something like…a chamber?"

"As long as I can help you with keeping children under the control of adults and you like my ideas, I would be happy to join you!" Doctor Ools assured the other man, his voice a mixture of excitement and relief.

"Then I would like to welcome you to Evil Adult Industries," Mr. Wigglestein assured the other man, offering his hand as both a handshake and a helping hand up. "I have a feeling our partnership will be quite…delightful."

Bet you weren't expecting him to show up yet, huh? But what can I say? I like surprises!
