Unknown POV
The one thing I could rely on was my wife, she always did everything I asked her too no question. The other day she came home with samples of blood from both the Davis girls. I am so proud of her, I mean not just anyone could pull this off, eventually I would need more, but for now this will have to do. I was trying to build the hex tech core and it needed blood, and hard work. I knew there was more but I would cross that bridge when I got there, I had to teach my son the ways of stealing. We were headed to Africa, or wherever I could get my hands on a very rare creature called a pangolin, I needed his scales to help my hex tech become stronger. Zachary was coming with me, so that Vanessa could get some stuff done, I was trying not to draw attention to ourselves. I needed this to go perfectly and right now no one had a clue what we were doing. That is how I wanted it to stay, I know my ex wife was trying to get custody of Zachary but that was never going to happen. She could corrupt that daughter of hers all she wants but she will never get a hold of Zachary, she will make him gay like her. I mean how I ever married her I had no idea, she turned around and told me she was a lesbian and year after we were married. I divorced her immediately and took my son away from her, from what I heard Morgana turned to drugs and alcohol after that, and now 5 years later she is crazy. Zachary and I were one step closer to being the strongest men in all of Adventure Bay, I was going to have him in this with me. I wanted him to know that I supported him but I also wanted him to be by my side. I just needed to get that damn detective off my trail, and that is what I left Vanessa to do. She was planting evidence around Adventure Bay for someone else to take the fall for a lot of things, I got lucky with her. She didn't ask questions she just did what I asked her, and it was perfect, we were both on the same page. I Xavier Black will be the evilest man in all of Adventure Bay and soon everyone will be bowing down to me!
Ashe
I am not sure what it is about this Jaxon person, but I like him a lot, he is fun, and he pays more attention to me than Janna. I know she is just a baby, but he makes sure I am happy first. Right now, mommy, was at home with her and daddy was with me and Jaxon at the park. Jaxon was rolling in the snow with me, and we even had a picnic lunch that grandma packed. I was having so much fun; I felt like I was the queen and daddy, and Jaxon were my minions! "Can't catch me!" I said as I took off running, I had no idea that I was running into trouble, and I was headed right for the street, I was running so fast and not paying attention. Before I knew it I was pulled back and a car swooshed past me, "damn it Ashe" I heard daddy, "I am sorry" I said, "it's fine you are lucky Jaxon is so fast" he said. I looked up at him with tears in my eyes, I was on top of him on the ground. I mean he did just save my life, "I want to go home" I said and I burst into tears, I am not sure if I was crying because I almost died or because I was not afraid of Jaxon. I don't know what happened, the look he gave me had me worried. I ran to daddy and hugged him, and he picked me up as we all walked home, I didn't want daddy to be mad. I didn't mean to run into the road, now Jaxon looked at me funny and I didn't know what it meant. I should be happy he saved me but now I don't know. When we came home, I ran upstairs and into my room, I didn't want to talk to anyone. I felt bad and sad, and I was not sure anymore.
I felt someone beside me and it was mommy she hugged me tight, "what happened?" she asked, "I was running and I almost ran into the road, I am sorry mommy" I said. "I know baby daddy told me, but I want to know why you are so upset" she said. "I am scared, I feel bad and Jaxon hates me and mommy I didn't mean too" I said crying even more. "Baby girl, he doesn't hate you and accidents happen, no one is mad honey. You really like Jaxon, don't you?" she asked, "I do he is fun but mommy why is he here?" I asked, "there are some bad people out there and we just want you and your sister to stay save. Jaxon is going to protect you" she said. I hugged her and we both went downstairs, "I am sorry daddy" I said, "its okay princess, are you alright?" he asked. "I am thank you Jaxon for saving me" I said, "anytime little lady" he said, I liked how he called me that. I noticed grandma was gone and mommy was with Janna, daddy was resting I am sure his knee hurt but I wanted to play. "Daddy can you play tea party with me?" I asked, "sure" he said. I looked over to Jaxon, and he nodded, perfect and I had everything set up. I had a lot of fun playing with them, tea party was a lot more fun when you had people to actually drink the tea. I know my stuffies were just pretend but daddy and Jaxon were perfect guests. I had a good day today, and knowing that Jaxon wasn't mad at me made me feel better. I have known him for one day, but I really liked him, just like I liked Sylvie. I knew he would do whatever it takes to protect me. I knew mommy and daddy were scared, and I didn't want them to be, I was in good hands. The doorbell rang again and I went for it but Jaxon pulled me back again. "No" he said softly, I don't understand why the door is so dangerous. I guess if the threat did come to the door he could grab me. There was a package for mommy, and she signed for it, it was her a new computer for her to use for school. I wanted a computer too, but we just had Christmas.
No one was paying attention to me once again and I started jumping on the couch, I wasn't going to fall like last time. "Ashe what did we tell you about jumping on the couch" mommy said. "Don't do it" I said, and I stopped but as soon as she turned her back I did it again, I didn't see the harm in it and then I slipped but I was caught by some strong arms. I looked down at Jaxon who was under me, "thanks" I said, "listen to your parents little lady" he said. I nodded, okay I will but I was hungry. "I am hungry" I said to him, "well let's get you some food then" he said and he put me a plate of dinner. Everyone was now eating, and then Jaxon played with me more while mommy worked, and daddy looked after Janna. Before I knew it I was in bed, and I was tired. Mommy was tucking me in, "mommy I want Jaxon to read me a story" I said, "I will go get him, I love you baby girl" she said kissing me. A few minutes later Jaxon was there, and he read me 2 stories before my eyes closed. I had a good day, and my new nanny was awesome, but I still missed Sylvie. I felt safer with Jaxon though, I knew nothing bad would happen to me if he was there.
