Lucy and Lincoln are sitting together on the couch. Waiting for the buzzer so they can let in there parents. It inevitably comes. Lynn senior and Rita look at their two children. Lucy and Lincoln look back at them.
"What was so important that we had to come down here so quickly?" Said Lynn
"We need to tell you that we are umm." Said Lincoln
"We are in love." Said Lucy
" ya we know that?" Said Lynn
" um I love Lucy more then a sister." Said Lincoln
"Me and Lincoln are lovers. We are engaged." Said Lucy
The parents turned white as a sheet. They started looking around. They started seeing things. Pictures of Lucy and Lincoln kissing in a photo booth in Coney Island. Them on top of the Empire State building. Pictures of them in costumes. They then noticed Lucy's ring finger. It was a ring Black and white metals wrapped together with an orange Stone inlaid.
"You two can't legally get married. Just stop this" Said Rita
"We know we can't legally get married but that doesn't stop us from living as husband and wife." Said Lucy
"it's also illegal to do that." Said Rita
"Not in Ohio or Rhode Island or New Jersey." Said Lucy staring at her parents from behind her bangs.
They started to squirm a little.
"I love your son" Said Lucy
"I love your daughter" Said Lincoln
"How long has this been going on?" Asked Rita
"Five years." Said Lincoln
"Oh" said Rita staring at her son.
"You can't I don't give my permission" Said Lynn
"I an not asking for Lucy's hand. I have already taken it." Said Lincoln
Lynn deflates all the breath out of his body. This feeble plan laying to ruins. Lucy pulls Lincoln in closer to her. There was silence in the room there was still noises but they are the unnoticed hustle and bustle of the city.
"Why?" Said Rita
"He is perfect, caring, gentle, considerate but he is so machiavellian with his plans. He is my White haired beloved. If it was puck's mischief that put us together I would have to thank him. Because I see no better of a match for me then my brother Lincoln Loud." Said Lucy caressing his cheek.
"Lucy don't" Said Lynn with a wine
"Lincoln why?" Said Rita
"I love how she sees the world. I love being the bright light in her dark world. She one said I was the light keeper of her hart. I also like being her secret keeper. Her sounding board and her lover. I love Watching her drifting off to sleep in my arms. I love my sister Lucy Loud." Said Lincoln
"You have been living as lovers ever since you moved to New York City right. So this Lupa is you Lucy?" Said Rita
"Yes Lincoln used that name. It is going to be your grandkids name, Lupa Loud." Said Lucy
"You can't have your brother's child." Said Rita
"I am. We both want a child and I want it to be Lincoln's in my womb. No other mans. The love of my life's Lincolns." Said Lucy
"But what about issues?" Said Lynn exiting his shocked stupor
"We don't believe they will have any. The family breeding that happened in the past was long ago. And we both had our genetics tested.
From what we can figure out we should be fine. Lupa will be a healthy baby with two adoring parents." Said Lincoln
"Lincoln Lucy" wined Lynn
"I am sorry you gave birth to the love of my life. I can't live with out my Lucy." Said Lincoln
"And neither can I." Said Lucy kissing Lincoln
They're parents are mortified. The two outed lovers broke apart and Lucy said "if I was with someone exactly like Lincoln but I was not his sister would you have approved?"
"Yes we would and same for you Lincoln." Said Rita
"Ok but don't move to Ohio. Move to one of the other two maybe new Jersey. Oh and we aren't getting Lupa two sets of presents. You know this is not going to be good for your social life especially you Lincoln. She is your little sister this is not going to look good. You also need to move as soon as possible." Said Rita
"You approve of us?" Said Lucy
"No I don't but I can't deny your happiness. Your our kids and we love you. Just no one else in the family Lincoln. You are Lucy's husband no one else. You have picked a favorite sibling you will have to live with the consequences. Now we won't tell everyone else that is up to you. But I will suggest you do it after you move." Said Rita
"We are not going to be cut off from our College funds?" Asked Lincoln
"No you will not." Said Rita
"We don't like this you two but we won't stop you. Now your father is in shock. We need to go somewhere else for a little while." Said Rita escorting her husband out of the apartment.
