Chapter 26: Becoming Friends

Bia and Nightfly are flying together.

"Nightfly I want you to meet a good friend of mine. His name is Erick." Bia said to her boyfriend.

"Erick I want to meet him." Nightfly said.

"Excellent you two will become friends." Bia said.

Bia and Nightfly headed to Erick's hollow.

"Hello Erick." Bia said. Erick turn around to see his friend Bia.

"Hi Bia." Erick greeted her. He sees Nightfly. "Who is your friend?" Erick asked her.

"Erick. This is my boyfriend Nightfly." Bia introduced her boyfriend to her friend.

"Hi Erick, it's nice to meet you." Nightfly shakes his wing.

"It's nice to meet you too." Erick said and he shakes Nightfly's wing.

"What you guys plan to do today?" Erick asked the couple.

"Well we haven't decide yet." Bia said.

"I want to go the trunk of tree." Nightfly said.

"Awesome." Bia said.

"Erick do you want to come?" Nightfly asked his new friend.

"Of course." Erick said.

The three decided to spend their day just relaxing by the trunk of a tree.

"I am come to the trunk of tree all the time." Bia said.

"What about you Erick?" Nightfly asked him.

"I come here sometimes." Erick said.

"Guys I will get Brazil nuts." Bia said.

"Sure Bia." Nightfly and Erick.

Bia went to find Brazil nuts. Nightfly and Erick are talking to each other.

"I am so lucky to have Bia as my girlfriend." Nightfly said.

"I am happy for you two. I always wanted a girl to love me but I never had a girlfriend before." Erick said.

"Don't worry you will find someone day day." Nightfly said.

"How did you met Bia?" Erick asked him.

"I met Bia at Roberto's dancing class lessons. She was my dancing partner. I started to have a crush on her." Nightfly said to his friend.

"Wow that is so nice." Erick said.

The red-tailed hawk kidnapped Bia.

The blue macaw girl is screaming. It sound like Bia.

"Bia." Nightfly and Erick shouted as they took off and flew as fast as they could to the source of the sound.

"We have to find Bia, Erick." Nightfly said.

Erick saw the feathers on the ground. He and Nightfly look at the feather carefully.

"A feather." Nightfly said.

"Who feather that belong to?" Erick asked Nightfly.

"I am not sure." Erick said.

"I know. Please don't tell me Bia is kidnapped." Nightfly explained to him.

"I get it." Erick said.

"Let's rescue Bia." Nightfly said.

"Let's save your girlfriend." Erick said.

Nightfly and Erick work together to save Bia from an unknown bird.

Bia is pinned on the tree by an red-tailed hawk named Jerry.

"Well today is my lucky day." Jerry said evilly.

"Let go of me." Bia yelled at red-tailed hawk.

"Never little girl. You will be eaten." Jerry said.

"You won't get away with this. My boyfriend will rescue me." Bia said to the red-tailed hawk.

"Awww you have a boyfriend. Well your boyfriend will miss you when you die." Jerry mockingly.

"Help somebody." Bia said.

"Nobody will not help you." Jerry said.

Nightfly and Erick are finding Bia. Nightfly is not going to give up. He loves his girlfriend with all of his heart.

"Look I know you are upset that Bia is gone forever but let's hope that she is still alive." Erick said.

Back at the red-tailed hawk hollow. He finally ready to hurt Bia.

"Don't touch me you monster." Bia shouted.

"I can touch you. Your boyfriend is not going to find you." Jerry said.

Jerry grab Bia and about to eat her. Bia punched on the red-tailed hawk face. The red-tailed hawk whipped off the saliva from his face.

"You will pay for that." Jerry said.

"Hey let my girlfriend go." Nightfly yelled at him.

"Nightfly and Erick. You two came back for me." Bia said.

"Of course you are my angel and I love you." Nightfly said.

"Your boyfriend is here and now he will watch you die." Jerry said.

The two blue macaws birds then started to fight Jerry. Nightfly and Erick is charging at the red-tailed hawk. He and Erick work together in order to save Bia.

"Why are you fighting me?" Jerry asked Nightfly. "You are weak and don't deserve to have a girlfriend."

"Don't ever say that. How dare you touch my girlfriend?" Nightfly shouted.

"So be it. Save your girlfriend." Jerry said.

Nightfly and Erick were fighting the evil red-tailed hawk. Nightfly glared at the villain. Jerry fight back. Nightfly and Erick did punches and kicks and they did the final kick towards Jerry. Jerry finally give up.

"This is not over. I will come back." Jerry said and he flys away.

Nightfly and Erick hugs Bia.

"Bia my love. Are you okay?" Nightfly asked his girlfriend.

"Yes I am okay." Bia said.

"Thanks goodness." Erick said.

Nightfly and Erick hugs Bia. Bia hugs them back.

"Let's your family about what happened." Nightfly said.

The three blue macaws went to Roberto's hollow. They see Blu, Jewel, Carla, and Tiago.

"Hey Bia and Nightfly. Who is your friend?" Blu asked them.

"This is Erick." Bia answered.

"Nice to meet you Erick." Blu shakes Erick's wing. Erick shakes his wing.

"The pleasure all mine." Erick continue to shakes Blu's wing.

"It's a pleasure to meet you Erick." Jewel said. She shakes Erick's wing.

"Thanks. Pleasure to meet you too." Erick shakes Jewel's wing.

"This is my siblings Carla and Tiago." Bia introduced her siblings to Erick.

"Hi Erick." Tiago said.

"You know my brother Erick?" Bia asked him.

"Yes we become friends when we were younger." Erick answered.

"I am Carla." Carla shakes Erick's wing.

Erick shakes Carla's wing. "I remember you. You sing at the talent show." Erick said to her.

"Yeah that was awesome." Carla said.

"Blu and Jewel. Your daughter was kidnapped by a red-tailed hawk named Jerry. He plans to kill her until me and Erick work together to stop him. We defeated him and no longer will harm Bia." Nightfly explained to Blu and Jewel.

Blu and Jewel was shocked that the enemy tried to hurt their daughter.

"You two saved our daughter. Thank you for saving her." Blu thanked Nightfly and Erick.

"Yeah that was so brave of you two." Jewel said.

"Thank you guys. That what we do." Nightfly said.

"I couldn't done it without Nightfly." Erick said.

Blu smiled. He will be happy to have Nightfly as his son-in-law in the future when he and Bia gets married. Nightfly will take care of Bia.

After defeat of Jerry. Nightfly told his parents on how he and his new friend Erick to work together to defeat Jerry the accipitridae to save Bia. Nightfly's family are proud of Nightfly that he saved his girlfriend.

For the night Bia and Nightfly stayed together and fell asleep in each other's wings at peace. Nightfly is happy that he is not injured. Bia promise to stay with Nightfly at all time. The next day he spent more time with Bia and spend the day with Bia's cousin Cadence. The friendship between Nightfly and Erick growing and the two become best friends.

Well looks like friendship works out.
