Hailey woke up from her long nap hearing Mark yelling at his parents and looked around around seeing that they were in a wooded area. She got out of the car looking around curiously going to the woods when Liz picked her up placing her on her right hip. "You cant go in the woods alone." said Liz looking at her. "Why not?" said Hailey wrapping her small arms around her neck. "Theres big animals like bears that can hurt you or hunters. Like the one from Bambi." said Liz. "Oh. Okay." said Hailey looking over her shoulder. She saw something across the lake having look to seeing the camp that Carlos mentioned to her last night. "That over there is Camp Crystal Lake. A very nice camp for kids but they no longer there." said Liz. "Oh." said Hailey not taking her eyes off the camp. She curious to know why it was closed until Liz turned them around to go inside the cabin as Carlos and Mark split up to take a break from their fight. Carlos went inside with Liz and Hailey to help put the grocery away while Mark went out into the woods to clear his mind. He watched Hailey explore the inside of the cabin going to one of the cabinets to put the can food away and screamed in surprise. "Carlos, Oh my god!" said Liz seeing inside the cabinet. He and Carlos both see a dead animal of what looked to be a canine or something from how the flesh was drying and deformed it was. "Mommy. Daddy." said Hailey coming over. Carlos went over picking her up leading her way from the scene when he stopped for a second thinking he heard a scream. "What wrong?" said Hailey looking at him. "Oh there was a big bug but mommy will take care of it. Lets go look around huh?" said Carlos walking them out. He carried her into the woods until Hailey was put down to hold his hand looking at the nice quiet scene they were walking through.
"Hello?!" said a voice. "Mark? Hailey go stand behind the tree and come out until i say so." said Carlos looking down at her. "Daddy." said Hailey looking worried. "i wont be far. im going to see whats going on." said Carlos. Hailey went behind a big tree while Carlos walked where the voice was coming from. Hailey looked around once she peeked her head to to see where he went and heard a noise like someone was walking close by. She turned to see no one then looked back to see no sign of Carlos then back to where she heard the nice to see a a figure not far from her. It as a tall bulk man with a hockey mask with dark clothes looking at her not moving. "Hi." said Hailey waving at him. She saw the man tilt his head a little making her do the same smiling letting out a tiny giggle when Mark and Carlos' voice getting close having the man disappear behind the tree. "It was probably an animal or someone else camping around here." said Carlos reasoning with Mark. "I know what i heard and that fucking camp across the lake isnt help us either." said Mark glaring at him then saw Hailey looking at them. "Why is she out here?" said Mark looking back at Carlos. "I'll you once she isnt around." said Carlos as Mark picked Hailey up in his arms walking away. "We shouldnt have come here." Mark muttered under his breath. He went passing Liz going upstairs to one of the rooms with Hailey sitting on bed watching look out the window to the woods. "Did you see the man too?" Said Hailey. "What?" Said Mark looking at her. "The big man with the white face." Said Hailey. "You saw someone else?" Said Mark kneling down I he reye level. "Did have a big scary knife?" He asked. "No." Said Hailey. "Okay just promise me that you stay from that big man. He hurts people." Said Mark. "What do you mean?" Said Hailey. "You know that camp across the Lake. Theres a story that" "Whats going on? Are you trying to scare her with your stories?" Said Liz walking in. "Hailey saw a man out there. She said he had a white face. That's gotta be Jason Voorhees." Said Mark standing up. "Its all made up and don't ever bring it up to your sister. She goin to have nightmares about it." Said Liz. "So you think that scream I heard was made up to." Said Mark. "Enough. You're enough trouble as it is. Dont make it worse. I'm gonna make us dinner so you'll have to watch Hailey and I better not see her alone." Said Liz looking at him. "I have a life too, mom." Said Mark. "Yet you have a role of brother to make sure nothing happens to Hailey." Said Liz leaving the two alone.
It was night as Mark build a bonfire to sit outside keeping an eye out hearing Hailey coming with his plate being careful not drop it. "Here. Why are you out here?" Said Hailey. Mark his plate setting it aside to put Hailey on his lap looking out into he lake. "Just making sure that man isn't out there." Sad Mark looking at her. "Can you tell me about the camp? What so scary about it?" Said Hailey curiously. "There's a story where a boy died in he like and his mom wasn't okay and hurt people until she was hurt too. The boy Jason came back to get back the people who hurt his mom. That's why nobody goes there." Said Mark trying not to scare her. "What about the man I saw?" Said Hailey. "I dont if that was him or a stranger." Said Mark. "But what if hes nice?" said Hailey. "Don't trust anyone that you dont know." said Mark. Hailey leaned on his chest looking into the fire thinking about the man she saw. She didnt think he look like he would hurt anyone when he was staring at her but what Mark just told her had getting into her head. It didnt take long for her to fall asleep with Mark taking her upstairs to her room and went to the room across from hers leaving the door open. With everyone dead asleep for after awhile the man from before walked in looking around the house from the bottom then went upstairs not making a sound btu paused to see Liz walking out of the bathroom then checked on Hailey who was in her bed turning on her side then went to Marks finding him sleeping his stomach snoring a little and shut his door on her way back tot he master bedroom too tired to even see the man holding a bloodly machete. the man continued climbing up the steps turning his head at Mark's room then looked at Hailey's going inside shutting the door almost all the way leaving it cracked open. He walked over to Hailey's sleeping form just staring at her peaceful face tilting his as the voice in his head was starting to talk to him about what he should do. 'She needs to be protected Jason. You saw how that boy acted in the beginning with his parents. He doesnt deserve her like you do. She's a special little angel. Dont you agree with mommy?' said a woman's kind voice. Jason turned around before looking over his shoulder for one more look before he left the house the way he came. He walked all way back to his home taking care of the remains of the teens he killed earlier all except for one who escaped one of his traps but wont be long once he finds her.
