The Fun Fair – Part 1

Now ladies and gentlemen, you are about to witness one of the next stages in Fred's master plan to ruin his little brother's life. The fun fair had finally arrived, and you will see how our friends cope with the whole thing. Drama will occur, jealousy will show, and chaos could erupt! Let's stop yapping, and start flapping!

Today was in fact one of the most well known and positively the most popular day of the year. The return of the annual fun fair!

The fun fair itself was alive with an electrifying atmosphere, that was a clear indication that the scenery itself was selling itself just from the sight of it.

The area was pulsating with cheers and laughter from groups of all ages. Mainly the children of course, as their screams of joy and laughter echoed across the whole area.

In some cases that would he very annoying if you heard someone screaming near you, but it's not like they would be doing it on purpose to get a rise out of you.

No, they'd only be doing it because they would he having the most amazing time.

The air itself was thick with the sweet scent of the tastiest and fluffiest cotton candy you have ever tasted. The most succulent beak watering popcorn and chocolate that would leave you craving for more.

And the various treats would lure in the majority of the locals and the travelling tourists who flocked to experience the most vibrant of festivities.

Everywhere you looked, there were many birds out with their friends, family, loved ones, or maybe some of them just wanted to get out by themselves. To just enjoy some alone time when getting out there and experiencing something special.

Their faces lit up in complete joy and excitement as they explored and experienced the myriad of attractions that the fun fair had to offer.

"Woah darling! Check out how great that looks!" Martin was the first one spotted amongst the crowd of birds. Holding the handbag of his girl best friend Jacqueline, who was still feeling pretty glum about her argument with her boyfriend yesterday. If, she could call him that anymore after the way he spoke to her.

No matter how much fun her friends were having being at the fun fair together, she just couldn't even manage a smile. Because her heart literally felt like it was on the verge of shattering.

"Hey, why don't you just call him? I'm sure he just needed to sleep on it." RDJ asked his best friend and patted her on the back. "Worst thing to do would be to just ignore him and shut him out. Because that would give him mixed signals."

"I tried to call him this morning, but the number was unavailable! Meaning he blocked my number!" She cried in sadness, wiping away her tears.

"No it doesn't? It just means he's switched it off. He's probably just going through a whole day of not speaking to you. Just to try and get over the sense of betrayal he feels." Pedro really had a knack for saying the wrong thing, at the wrong time, to the wrong individual.

So saying something like this to a pregnant, extremely hormonal, and upset female…was a recipe for disaster!

"BETRAYAL?! WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?! YOU FAT RED CRESTED FUCK!" Jacqueline dropped her bucket of popcorn and grabbed him by the shirt. Shaking him back and forth violently. Like she was giving someone a shakedown, after committing a felony.

"YO! WHAT ARE YOU DOIN' GIRL?!" Pedro angrily pushed her off of him, not to the point where she would fall over. But to where she would let go of him.

"You can't push a pregnant woman!" RDJ sternly spoke and slapped the male red crested cardinal quite roughly, on the back of his head. And the slap was so strong, that his sun glasses came flying off.

"Dude?! Those Ray Bans cost more than your truck!" He insulted him rudely, as a reaction to him getting slapped.

He slapped him again a second time, and narrowed his eyes at him in annoyance. "That was my mom's truck! And secondly, you've got no right to insult either of us!"

"You're right! I deserve those slaps…" He quickly realised his mistake and rose both of his arms up in defence. "Sorry guys!"

"It's fine." Both the blue and gold macaw man and blue spix's macaw female responded at the same time. As they all walked through the fun fair, and admired all of the beautiful colours and the variety of games.

From the mesmerising acts of the circus performers, they were doing some really dangerous yet entertaining tricks. Which amazed the crowd as they walked right past them.

Many of them were doing incredible acrobatics and magic tricks. Juggling fire torches and knives, giving balloons out to anyone who wanted one. And even had clowns honking horns and being all silly and crazy.

"God I hate fucking clowns!" Lillian remarked and turned away from them towards Nico. "I'm not afraid of them. I just think they're annoying."

"I personally am terrified of clowns! Especially since watching that movie IT. With Pennywise the clown. Oooh my…I was hiding behind the couch when I saw both of them." Zara was also with the crowd, walking right next to Pedro. With Sofia walking the other side of Pedro. Listening in on what the blue jay had just said.

"Pffft, fucking pussy…" Sofia murdered under her breath, but Samantha heard one of those words. And thought that she was saying something different.

"Did you just say fuck my pussy?" The scarlet girl innocently asked her, as she made a swift response to avoid causing an argument or an altercation with the blue jay female.

"No, I said that I saw a pussy cat stuffed toy that I think is cute…" She lied to her, avoiding saying what she really said.

"Oh really? Well then, let's get you that toy!" Pedro beamed and took hold of her hand, that actually made her blush a light pink. Right before following him over to where that game was.

Jacqueline for a moment saw the way that Sofia instantly changed her facial expressions when Pedro offered to win her a stuffed toy in the ring toss game. And even when she turned around and gave Zara a smug look.

She still couldn't figure out what was going on with her, because she was still in deep pain emotionally from her argument with Jose.

But her mind soon switched as she felt a huge aroma coming her way. That if she was in a Disney movie, she would be levitating off the ground and floating towards the aroma.

The tantalising array of food stalls serving up everything from sizzling hot dogs to the most refreshing freshly made lemonade, there was a little bit of something to favour all consumers.

"Well, looks like I'll be buying everyone hot dogs. Maybe two for Jacqui." RDJ chuckled and pulled out his wallet. "Would you like a hot dog, honey?"

"No thanks, but I'd like to receive one later? If you catch my drift…" She whispered that last part in his ear. And that made him chuckle naughtily, before spanking her on the butt. Making her giggle and blush uncontrollably a bright purple.

"I'll be sure that you have the…special sauce that 'cums' with it…" He naughtily whispered in her ear. As she couldn't help herself but bite the bottom of her beak. "Anyone else want one?"

Everyone else shook their heads and waited patiently for them to come back.

Meanwhile…

Over by one of the lemonade stands, stood a pretty tall and good looking green and yellow macaw man. That man actually was indeed the ex boyfriend of the purple eyed blue spix's macaw girl Lila.

He spotted her from about ten feet away, and he stood there staring at her. Wearing a fairly revealing purple dress that was cut fairly short. With a cleavage split going down the centre in between her large blue breasts.

"Hey, kid?" Manuel turned to a small green parakeet boy, who was drinking a glass of lemonade. "Wanna earn $20?"

"Ummm, my daddy says not to accept money from older strangers…Because I don't want to be touch…" He innocently answered, shaking a little in fear.

"What? No! I'm not a pedophile! I just need you to do something for me to help impress a girl…"

"Oh…Okay? But can we not tell my mommy? She will get mad…"

"Don't worry kid! Here's what I need you to do…"

Let's Head Back To Our Friends…

"Hey, I'm just gonna head on over to the guy standing by the huge slide, and see if he wants a job working for me!" Martin clocked his fingertips and was about to walk over there, but Lila couldn't understand why.

"Why him?" She questioned innocently.

"I got this new male swimsuit catalogue from Miami coming in next week. So I wanna see if he would model some for me. As he does have a slim build." He remarked and pulled out his cell phone, before going over there and talking to him.

Pedro and Sofia were now playing on the game, while Zara was watching them. Samantha and Tilly decided to go and get some corn dogs. Martin wax talking to a guy regarding a job opportunity. RDJ was buying a hot dog for himself and Jacqueline. Nico and Lillian were currently in the Photo Booth taking some couple pictures together.

Leaving Lila by herself for the time being.

She took in the scenery and saw that many thrill seekers around them were lining up to go on the amusement rides, with their screams of delight echoing through the crowd like yelling into a large open cave.

Their screams of delight mingling with the cheerful chatter of game booths, where hopeful players and contestants tried their luck at winning colourful prizes.

The atmosphere itself was a delightful cacophony of sounds, sights, and tasters that enveloped everyone in a warm embrace of nostalgia and joy.

"Wow, they really did a pretty good job this year!" The blue spix's macaw girl remarked to nobody in particular, whilst she was looking at what was in front of her.

Amidst this lively and energetic scenery, the sheer beauty of the fun fair itself was completely undeniable. With twinkling lights that illuminated the night sky, and the laughter of adults by the bar enjoying a beer while the kids ran around and played, echoed throughout the atmosphere.

Our friends were all pretty much enjoying their time in their couples or groups to enjoy a variety of different things.

Enjoying the different festivities that the fun fair had to offer them.

"I wonder if…OOOOOH!"

All of a sudden, a soccer ball came flying at Lila and it actually hit her on the back of her head. Making her slightly dizzy from the soft blow, as she rubbed the back of her head, that felt fairly sore.

"Oh gosh! I'm so so…Lila?" A man came running over to pick up the soccer ball that had been struck at the blue female. But once Lila had a little look at the person who mentioned her name.

Her jaw instantly dropped…because there standing in front of her…was the very last person that she expected to see.

"M-M-Manuel?! But…What…W-W-What are you doing here?!" She immediately went wide eyed after she laid her eyes upon a former person in her life. With whom she had hoped she would never see again. And yet, here he was clear as day standing directly in front of her.

"Wow, nice to see you too, would have been a decent enough response. But I suppose you are entitled to reply in any way you wish." He replied with a light grin, looking her up and down. "Wow! You look fantastic!"

"Th-Thank you. Ummm, so do you…" In reality, she wasn't really sure on how to respond. As her brain still hasn't fully processed that her ex boyfriend was literally standing in front of her. "So, what beings you here?" She put a hand on her hip.

"Well I'm…"

"Excuse me? Uncle Manny?" Suddenly, the green parakeet child from earlier tugged on his hand.

"Yes kiddo?" He kneeled down to eye level of the young child.

"Can I get $20 to spend in the gift store?" He asked innocently, playing the part really well.

"Okay. But make sure you don't go too far okay?" He spoke in a sweet voice and pulled out a $20 bill. The same money he promised to pay the kid if he helped him.

"Thank you! I love you uncle Manny!" The child ran up to him and hugged him, before he ran off giggling with the money. As Lila did in fact show a light smile. "He's not my nephew of course. But, I'm taking care of him while her mom was out on a date tonight." He lied to her, as she did smirk a little bit. "What?"

"I'm just, surprised that you offered to help out? Especially since when we were dating, you didn't like kids." She replied and smiled at him.

"Well, people do change. But feelings, they don't change…" He was so smooth in his words, that Lila did notice that he was talking about her. However, she didn't acknowledge that, because she still remembered why she broke up with him in the first place.

But even though she thought this scene was a little bit adorable. What she saw fall out of his pocket was more interesting. "Hey? What's that golden badge thing?" She referred to the cor year metal badge that fell out of his pocket.

"Oh, this? Right! I have actually been sober for one whole year last week! I have finally quit drinking for good!" He proudly stated, showing her the one year badge he was given at the meeting. "Can you believe it?"

"R-Really? But…What changed your mind?" Her eyes flew open again in shock, placing a hand on her chest.

"Well…To be quite truthful, it was because…of you." He spoke so smooth and so charming, that Lila actually felt a little bit drawn into listening to him.

"M-Me? But…But I…"

"You see…" He took hold of her hand in a gesture of showing that he was sincere in his words. And once again because his words were so smooth and charming. She couldn't help but listen to him. Although, she didn't like the fact that he took her hand like this.

And for another moment…someone else caught what he was doing…and they didn't like what they were seeing…

"Ever since I came home drunk…we got into that huge argument. Then I beat you up. Put you in the hospital on multiple occasions. I realised…that I lost the love of my life, because of my own stupidity when it came to my excessive alcohol consumption."

"M-Manuel…"

"No Lila…I have to tell you. That I am so sorry for what I did!" He took her other hand and held them close to his heart. And at this point, Lila was feeling very uncomfortable about this. Because she didn't feel anything for him anymore. And yet…she didn't even try to shake her hands away. Which was a very confusing thing to do, when she's in a new relationship. "Please, I can't help but stop thinking about you. And I would give anything to have you back in my life! Any…"

"HEY! GET THE FUCK AWAY FROM MY GIRLFRIEND!"

All of a sudden, RDJ came storming up to the green and yellow macaw man, and roughly shoved him away from his girlfriend. Getting in his face like he wanted to knock him unconscious.

"Honey! It's…It's not what you think!" Lila tried to defend herself, but luckily the blue and gold macaw man knew that she didn't like the way he was grabbing her hands like that. "M-M-Manuel here is…"

"It's okay baby. I know that this bum was only trying to flirt with you!" RDJ got in his face and started to snarl at him. "Get away from her 'Boy-uel'! You have no right to grab her the way you did!" He referred to him as a boy, only because he wanted to undermine him.

Unfortunately though, Manuel was able to so easily get under his skin.

Just as this confrontation was going on, a fairly big crowd had gathered around them. Watching and spectating, as they had a little heated discussion.

"Really Lila? This is who you picked after we broke up? I guess it is true what they say! That, once you've had the best…you always settle for less." He chuckled in a mocking way.

BAM!

RDJ had enough of the insults and punched him brutally in the nose, breaking his nose as the punch really connected with him.

"HONEY?!" Lila was horrified when seeing her boyfriend react like this.

"Stay out of this honey! I can handle this bum!" He sweetly yet seriously said, putting his hand up to stop her from interfering.

"Ahhhh, that's okay. I'll let you have that one! Besides, you punch like the way I used to spank her when we were having fiery, wild, passionate sex!" Manuel continued to mock him, and just when RDJ was going to strike him again. Samantha and Tilly came from behind him and began pulling him back along with Martin and Douglas. Who had just shown up after finishing his shift at the precinct.

"So, do we have a problem over here?" Douglas was referring to RDJ and Manuel. Who were both giving each other some cold glances.

"No officer. I was flirting with his girlfriend, and I held her hands. Then he punched me to defend her honour. No crime was committed here." He told the truth about what really happened just now.

This confused RDJ and Lila…but they stayed calm.

"RDJ? That what happened?" The green armed macaw rose an eyebrow in curiosity.

Despite only just about hearing what he said, he couldn't get over how enraged he felt just looking at him. And if it weren't for the graceful loving touch of his beloved, he would have punched him again.

"Yes…" Was all he said, as he wrapped his arm around Lila. Kissing her on the beak in front of Manuel to let him know who was dating her.

"Way to mark your territory…" He made a smart comment, and that little comment annoyed him even more. But luckily, Douglas knew this would anger his friend so he intervened.

"You better walk away now sir. You've caused enough trouble already!" Douglas put his hand up and told him to walk away. "Or do you want me to call for backup?"

"Nah. I'm good! Besides, I can already tell from the way he acted that his mother probably never loved him. Probably walked out on him or killed herself…"

BAM!

RDJ had enough and once again threw another couple of punches at him. One in the eye and the other on the beak. "SHUT THE FUCK UP! KEEP MY MOM OUT OF YOUR FUCKING BEAK!"

"RDJ! THAT IS ENOUGH!" Douglas immediately dealt with the situation and put RDJ in handcuffs. To stop him from doing something worse.

"Dougie?! What are you doing?!" Martin saw that her husband was technically arresting the blue and gold man.

"Relax babe. Im not arresting him. I'm only preventing him from attacking him again." Douglas reassured his husband. "You sir. Get out of here! Or I will have to arrest you on harassment charges!"

"You do realise officer that I am a lawyer? This time round I will not be pursuing charges against this man because I instigated the problem. But, if he were to be in another problem…then I would have to see to it that he will be given a law suit for assault and battery!" Manuel replied with a light muffle in his voice, as the blood poured from his beak and nose after the two strong blows he received from RDJ.

"Then I will gladly call my lawyer and he will be sure to sue you in response for false accusations!" Martin piped up and clicked his fingertips.

"Hahaha…Do you always get the gaybos to come to your rescue?"

"You better watch it sonny! This is my husband!" Douglas stepped forwards and pulled out another pair of handcuffs. "Do you want these too?"

"Nah. Cops don't really know anything about the law. Hence why there's the term 'Lawyer'. Besides, I've already got what I wanted." Manuel winked at the group and waltzed away like he was the king of the hill. "Be seeing you soon RDJ! It was great catching up Lila!" He called out in that same tone of voice.

As the green and yellow macaw man walked away like a cocky hipster, Lila was so ashamed of the fact she allowed him to be so smooth and relaxed with her. Even when she was in a relationship with her new boyfriend RDJ. Although, she was a big surprised that he managed to quit drinking.

Especially since he used to be a violent drunk towards her.

"God I hate that guy!" Martin remarked and turned around to see Douglas remove the cuffs from RDJ. "Are you okay darling?" He asked the blue and gold man.

He appeared to be so frustrated by what he just saw, that since this little confrontation between himself and the ex of his current girlfriend. He didn't even once look at Lila after punching Manuel a second and third time. And this upset her a lot.

"I'll be honest…I just wanna go home now." RDJ didn't want to stay anymore, and was about to walk away. But Lila then took hold of his hand, and tried to get him to look at her.

"If you are going, then I am going too!" She assured him that she wanted to go with him. But all of a sudden he got very upset and pulled his hand away from her. Without looking her in the eye. "What's wrong?"

"Why did you allow him to grab your hands like that?" He asked in a serious yet calm tone.

"I-I didn't? He just grabbed them…" She responded very fearful. Not because she was scared of him. But because she knows that she should have done more to stop him doing that. And she felt guilty for not trying harder.

"You could have pulled your hands away. Or simply ignored him! Do you think I would have been okay with that?!" The blue eyed man replied with a little annoyance, gazing into her eyes. "Well?!"

"It's not like I am the one who decided to grab his hands like that? He grabbed my hands, and I felt like I was backed into a corner…"

"Yeah right! I bet that you liked it!" He rose his voice and shook his head.

"What is with you?! Why are you acting like a jealous little child?" She responded sternly, putting her hands on her hips.

"Ooooooooo!" The crowd in the background simultaneously started 'Ooooooooin' when eavesdropping on this conversation.

"I just…I don't like how he grabbed you like that…I thought that you…liked it." RDJ for the first time in their relationship, acted like a jealous insecure guy. Which did surprise his friends a lot.

Lila could see from the look on his face that he was genuinely upset about what he saw, and he let some guy that he had only just met get under his skin so easily.

"Honey…" The purple haired blue spix's female approached him lovingly, and lifted his chin up with her hand. "I stood there staring at the guy in fear. He was my ex boyfriend, and there's a reason why he's my ex. Because I don't love him anymore! I only love you! And you only."

"Are you sure?" He still sounded so unsure, but once Lila leaned in and passionately kissed him on the beak. He pretty much got the gist of her response.

Soon the crowd began to disperse in disappointment because the couple were not going to argue with each other anymore.

After a few seconds of kissing each other passionately, they dispersed from the kiss and pressed their heads up against each other's. Sighing in bliss and relaxing in each other's arms.

"Say? You wanna go home and order takeout? This place is kinda lame now after what had happened here." Lila suggested and rubbed his back lovingly.

"Sure thing baby! Let's get outta here!" RDJ took hold of his girlfriend's hand, and only this time did she love it when he grabbed hold of her hand softly. Walking away from the scene, as the others were pretty much doing their own separate things.

Meanwhile…

Once the young couple were walking away together holding each other's hands. Manuel stood there by a very annoyed Fred. Who clearly thought that this plan would cause them to have a huge argument.

"God fucking damnit! How is it, that we couldn't even get the two of them to have a full blown argument?! Grrrrrrr!" He was so frustrated, that he picked up a fork that was on a buffet stand. And he popped a big balloon that a child was holding, and she burst into tears and ran away from them.

"That wasn't very nice! What did that kid ever do to you?!" Manuel yelled at him in disgust.

"When I get angry I like to destroy things!" He then decided to use the same metal fork to puncture a bouncy house. That five kids were currently bouncing on, but began screaming in terror and running towards their parents.

"This is going a step too far Fred! You told me, that I would be able to get my girl back! So far, you have not lived up to your end of the bargain. So what do we do now?" He was really angry that Fred would pick on little kids when taking out his frustration.

"Oh shut up Manuel! I already told you, that you will get your girl back! We just need to try a different angle, that's all…"

Just as he said this…he noticed that Jacqueline was walking all alone at the fair. And pretty soon, his eyes gradually became to narrow.

"What are you planning Fred?" Manuel asked him seriously., noticing his change in behaviour.

"Plan B…Follow…my…lead…

Oh dear! What the heck is going to happen next? So at the fun fair, Lila had a little run in with her ex boyfriend Manuel, who received a few blows from RDJ after he was flirting with his girlfriend. RDJ and Lila did have a very brief heated discussion. But it didn't go as far as Free had hoped, and now he is planning a whole new scheme against Jacqueline.
