Hello everyone. Welcome back to another story of mine! Or, if this is your first time stumbling upon one of my works, welcome. I'll try to keep this short and sweet so you can get right into the good stuff, or if you want, feel free to skip this outright.
First things first, this story takes place in the world of Splatoon, after the events of Splatoon 3. As such, the setting, canon characters, and other elements all belong to Nintendo. The only thing I created was the plot and any OCs that appear throughout the story.
Secondly, this story is set in the same AU as my other Splatoon-only stories. Don't worry, you won't have to read any of those to understand what's going on in this series. Just know that they are connected, and as such, characters you've seen from those stories may or may not make an appearance in this series.
Thirdly, I'd like to thank each and every one of you who took the time out of your day to read my stuff. I say it countless times, but you really have no clue just how much it means to me.
Lastly, I don't normally do this, but I'd like to recommend (or, I guess, give a shout-out to) another Splatoon story I read. It's called "Splatoon: Heroes," created by LukethePhoenix on A03. This story was one of the few I've read in which the author used Splatoon's original plot from the campaign and still gave it their own spin. That story specifically is also what more or less inspired the title for this one. I (personally) don't think it's gotten enough love, so I just wanted to share. The story is also on Wattpad, but you'll find more of the author's works on their A03 Page.
