Dark Kat was desperately trying to find a lawyer, any lawyer that would represent him. Every one that said they would think about taking his case turned him down after Dark Kat read the charges that were being brought against him. He finally broke down and made the phone call that he really didn't want to make. Dark Kat started dialing.

"Yes?" the voice on the other end of the phone asked.

"It's Dark Kat. I need to find a lawyer to help me get these charges reduced, or even acquitted." Dark Kat said.

"Now, why should I help you? I asked you to come up with a simple plan to get some money into our accounts, but no. You had to go and kidnap both a convicted felon and a SWAT Kat! Then you tried to take the city hostage by taking over the treasury! All I wanted was a simple embezzlement, but you turned it into a major crime against the federal government! So I ask again, why should I help you?" the voice yelled.

Dark Kat knew that he was not really going to get any help, but he also knew that if he just hung up the phone, his life would be over faster than a cheetah could run. He replied, "Because I have been loyal to you and the Society for over thirty years. I even took the job when you wanted Callista's daughter and her husband taken out."

"So what? You were a naïve child back then, and were willing to do anything to further ingratiate yourself. You have crossed the line, Dark Kat. We want nothing to do with you anymore. Goodbye," the voice said, and hung up the phone. He then said, "Dark Kat is becoming a liability that must be dealt with. As much as I hate using prison gangs to do my dirty work, I have no choice in the matter. I can't just walk into MegaKat Prison and kill him. They are going to have to do it for me."

Callie and Felina were walking down the hall when they came upon Katerina and Callista walking towards the springs.

Felina asked as they were crossing paths, "How were Ferdinand and Antonio? Were they as good as the hostess said they would be?"

Callista smiled and then replied, "Ferdinand can work the kinks out of my back any time. I was feeling so relaxed that I accidentally reached out to your uncle, and he confessed that he is in love with me, right after I moaned into his mind. I had no idea he was the type of tom to get jealous. I will have to watch my step around him."

Felina stopped dead in her tracks and developed an inquisitive look on her face as she thought, "My Uncle, jealous and in love? I know that he was loyal to Adara until she became such a heartless harpy, but jealous? I have never seen my uncle be jealous before in all my life. Boy, he must have it bad for Callista."

Callie turned to her friend and asked, "Is everything alright, Lina?"

"Everything is fine, Callie. Or should I start calling you cousin, and your grandmother aunt?" Felina then turned to Callista and said, "I have a feeling that your courtship with my uncle is going to be a very short one, Callista."

"Why would you say that, Felina?" Callista asked.

"Knowing my uncle, when he sees what he wants, he goes and gets it. It doesn't matter if it is a new car, a new gun, or a new wife. If he is getting all possessive and jealous about you having another tom's paws on you, he has already made his mind up about asking you to marry him, and he is just going through the motions of courtship to make you feel comfortable," Felina replied.

Callista was now standing in shock. Yes, she did tell him that she would be his for all eternity. Yes, they did confess their love for each other, and yes, she said that she would have married him all those years ago. But to hear that Ulysses had made up his mind to ask her to be his wife when they had yet to go out on a single date was very puzzling to her.

Felina walked over to Callista, placed her right arm around her, and asked while looking into Callista's nervous eyes, "Are you alright? I hope I didn't scare you. I personally think that you will make a great aunt, and an excellent wife. Sure, you are older than all of us combined, but you are also a very loving and kind she-cat with a heart as big as this city. I can see why my uncle has fallen head over heels in love with you all over again."

Callista looked into Felina's eyes with a slight mist forming in hers, and replied, "Just yesterday he said that he wanted to take things slow because of what Adara did to him. Now you are telling me that he is ready to marry me? I don't know if I am ready to be his wife. I do love him, and I guess I never really got over him all those years ago, but I don't want to rush anything, either. I want to let our love for each other grow for a while before I am ready to get married again, but when the time is right, I will love being your aunt, Felina. I can't picture a better niece, and your son will be a great cousin to Callie's kittens."

"How do you know that I am going to have a son? As far as I know, it's too early to know the sex of the kitten yet," Felina asked as she crossed her arms under her chest.

"I have seen both Callie's and your kittens in Callie's dreams. Callie is going to have triplet daughters, and you are going to have a son, Felina. That is, if Callie's dreams are correct," Callista explained.

Felina uncrossed her arms, placed her paws over her stomach, and then briefly focused her attention on the area that would one day swell with their kitten before saying, "I am going to have a son. Jake is going to be so happy when I tell him!"

Callie turned to Callista and asked, "So those dreams I have been having where our kittens are happily playing and running around are more than just dreams?"

Callista turned her head toward her granddaughter and replied, "Yes they are, Callie. Since you are a sorceress, you are very in tune to your future and those of your loved ones. While you are asleep, instead of dreaming, you might have a vision of the future. That is why they are so vivid. Those dreams are more like premonitions of your future, Callie, and not to be taken lightly."

"What do you mean that they should not be taken lightly, Callista?" Callie asked.

"They could either be nothing more than a glimpse of your future, or they could be a warning as to what is coming. But be forewarned, acting on some of those dreams can be very harmful to those around you. Do you remember what Amelia told us before taking Chance away while we were in purgatory?" Callista replied.

Callie looked at the floor while trying to remember exactly what Amelia had said to them. It was a time that she had been desperately trying to forget. Almost losing Chance forever was something so recent, the wound had not yet had time to heal, and she refused to pick at it. However, Callie realized that Callista wouldn't have asked her that question if it weren't important. It took her a minute, but she eventually recalled Amelia's words, "I think she said something about Bast giving her blessing to me and my family, or something like that. I still don't know what that even means, Callista."

"Callie, I think that Bast is not done with our family by a long shot. You should be honored that a goddess of her caliber is taking an interest in our family. If that is true, we have not seen the last of Amelia. I have a feeling we will be seeing her again," Callista replied.

Callie looked up from the floor and directly into Callista's eyes. She really had no idea what to think or say at the moment. Having a goddess watching over her and her family was a little more than she could process at the moment. Sure, she felt honored that Bast was taking an interest in her, but for what reason? As far as she knew, goddesses just didn't watch over a particular family or cat without a very good reason. She finally stirred up enough courage to ask, "What is so special about us that Bast would even think about taking an interest in us? Sure we are both sorceresses, but other than that, we are just two normal cats living in a city that is bordering on chaos every day."

"Callie, I think that is the very reason she has taken an interest in our family. How many other magic users do you know? None, probably. We are a dying breed, Callie. Other than us and the members of the Society, I don't recall any other magic users left in the world," Callista replied.

"Perhaps. Although, I am still nervous about having a goddess watching over us," Callie said.

Callista walked over, placed a comforting paw on Callie's shoulder, and said, "I think that is the last thing you have to worry about. Like taking care of your fiancé, when he gets home in a few short days."

Katernia and Felina chuckled at Callista's insinuation, but Callie was still concerned about having Bast looking in on her family. She envisioned being in the middle of a very intimate moment with Chance when Bast popped in on them.

Felina broke the tension by grabbing Callie by the collar of her robe and dragging her towards the massage area, saying, "Come on, Callie. You are worrying too much. We have two hunks waiting to get their paws on our bodies."

Callista and Katerina watched as Felina dragged Callie off to get a massage. They turned towards each other and shrugged their shoulders before heading off towards the springs.

As they arrived at the doors that isolated the springs from the rest of the spa, Katerina thought about her new girlfriend, who was relaxing in the pool just on the other side of the doors. She smiled as she thought of Tina, and remembered the dream she just had while getting her massage. She opened the door and a wall of humidity hit the pair, which caused them to wince for a brief second. They walked in and saw Tina sitting in the pool with her arms resting on the pool's edge and her eyes closed. She looked like she was sleeping.

After Callie and Felina left the pool, Tina leaned back and placed her arms on the pool's edge. She breathed in the warm, humid air and let the hot water soothe her. Tina took a few more breaths, closed her eyes, and proceeded to fall asleep. The next thing she knew, Katerina was kneeling next to her with a trowel in her right paw, digging a hole. To her right was a tray of flowering plants waiting to be planted. Behind her, she heard a young female kitten coming towards them yelling, "Mommies! Look what I caught!" She and Katerina turned towards the voice and Katerina dropped the trowel and opened her arms. The kitten ran towards Katerina and fell into her arms.

Katerina closed her arms around the kitten and said, "Gwendyln, what a beautiful butterfly you have there. It is almost as beautiful as you are."

Tina instinctively placed her left arm around Katerina's waist, turned her attention to their daughter, and said, "Katerina is right, Gwendyln. That butterfly pales in comparison to your beauty. Be sure to let it go now. We don't want to hurt it, right?"

"Yes mommy, I don't want to hurt it," Gwendyln replied as she opened the jar and the butterfly took off. Gwendyln ran out of Katerina's arms and chased after the butterfly, laughing as it flew away.

She turned to Katerina and said, "I am so glad that we found Gwendyln. I could not be happier, now that we are a family." She then kissed Katerina after she finished speaking.

Katerina felt her wife's kiss. She pulled back ever so slightly and said, "I could not be happier either, Tina. Between having you as my wife and having a loving daughter, I want nothing more from life." She kissed Tina this time.

Tina's dream ended and she just sat there smiling, wishing that the dream became a reality.

Katerina slipped into the pool and made her way to Tina. She heard Tina's purring as she sat there smiling. Katerina thought to herself, "That must be one pleasant dream she is having." She leaned forward and placed a light kiss on Tina's forehead, then sat down on Tina's right while placing her left arm around Tina's shoulders.

Tina woke up from her light slumber when she felt someone kissing her forehead. She opened her eyes and saw Katerina sitting to her left with Katerina's right arm placed around her shoulders. She didn't lose her smile for a minute, as she leaned into Katerina and placed her head on Katerina's left shoulder while wrapping her left arm around Katerina's waist. She closed her eyes again and let out a very contented purr.

Callista watched Katerina and Tina show their feelings for each other, and she just smiled as she sat down on one of the benches in the pool. She saw the dream that both Katerina and Tina had and thought, "Those two are just perfect for each other. If I have anything to say about it, I will make sure that their dream comes true. This Gwendyln is going to be one lucky girl to have two mothers to love her forever."

Tina stopped purring long enough to say, "Did you enjoy your massage, my love?"

Katerina replied, "Da, although, I would have preferred your paws on me instead of his, and did you just call me love?"

Tina started running her left paw through Katerina's fur just under her chest as she replied, "Yes I did, Katerina. I have not felt such a pull towards another in a very long time. I hope that you feel the same way towards me?" She started purring again as she continued running her paw through Katerina's fur.

Katerina did not even have to think about a reply. She did feel a connection to Tina that she never felt before with another cat, either male or female. She replied, "Yes, I do Tina. I have not felt this way in a long time, either. I am so glad that we found each other." She bent forward and kissed Tina in between her ears.

Callie and Felina finished their journey to the massage area where they met Ferdinand and Antonio.

Ferdinand said to Callie while placing his paws on his hips, "Didn't I just finish making you purr just a few minutes ago?"

Callie replied, "Not that I am aware of. You just finished making my grandmother purr, and you had better watch out when you leave. Her boyfriend is the jealous type, and most likely will want to kick your tail for placing your paws on her."

"I am always respectful of my clients and never cross that line while here. Although, I have had clients take me home afterwards and have their way with me, 'all night long', if you get my drift, my beauty," Ferdinand said in a deep Spanish accent while his eyes raked over Callie's body.

"Yes, you two lovelies would probably make us purr. I would like to get my paws on your bodies, and then have your paws all over mine," Antonio said, while licking his lips suggestively.

Felina had enough of the two overly-inflated toms and their equally massive egos. She said, "You two try anything with us, and you will have not only have to deal with two very angry she-cats that can fight as well as we look, but deal with our fiancés, who would like nothing more than to put you two in your place."

"We can handle you two she-cats and enjoy it. As for your fiancés, you are going to dump them when you feel how well we handle you two," Ferdinand said, while crossing his arms over his expansive chest.

Callie figured it was time to shut these two muscle heads down permanently. She said, "You think that you two can handle our fiancés, huh? I can't wait to tell T-Bone you said that."

"Yes, I am sure that Razor will share the same sentiment towards you when he finds out that you two made a very suggestive pass at his fiancé. He is very possessive of his fiancée," Felina said.

Ferdinand and Antonio looked at each other, then back at the girls. Antonio asked nervously, "You two are engaged to marry the SWAT Kats?"

"Not only are we engaged to marry them, we are pregnant with their kittens," Felina said, just to add a little more salt to their already wounded prides.

Both Antonio and Ferdinand gulped after they heard Felina speak. Sure, they could take on a normal tom, but to try to take on the SWAT Kats was not only something that they did not want to do, but it would be incredibly stupid if they did!

"Something wrong, boys? I thought you both said that you can make us purr? Well, Empress and I are waiting," Felina said.

Now Ferdinand and Antonio's jaws dropped open. They realized they had just made a very large error in making a pass at these two. Not only were they engaged to the SWAT Kats, but they were members of the SWAT Kats themselves, and from what they read in the newspapers, Empress and Caliber could handle themselves in a fight just as well as T-Bone and Razor.

Antonio closed his jaw while placing his paws on his hips. He then said, "If you two are Empress and Caliber, then prove it! I saw what those two can do, and I have my doubts that you two are really Empress and Caliber."

Callie turned to Felina for just a second and said, "Let me handle this." She turned her attention back to Ferdinand and Antonio and started walking towards them, ever so slowly, while volleying a tiny spark between her fingertips, and her once green were now a ghostly, all white color. She said as she got closer to the two toms, "You two still think that we are not who we say we are? Do you think that anyone other than Empress can do what you are seeing right now?" She stopped within inches of the two toms and held up her paws to their faces. She turned the single spark into an array tiny lightning bolts that continuously danced between her fingers.

Ferdinand and Antonio took one look at Callie's paws and turned tail. They ran down the hall, faster than they thought possible, just to get away from her.

Callie quelled the flow of magic in her paws, turned to face Felina, and said as her eyes returned to normal, "Was it something I said?"

Felina just placed her paws on her knees, crouched down, and started laughing. She had never seen two toms run so fast. She said between the bouts of laughter, "No, Empress, it was not something that you said. They say that actions speak louder than words, and girl, your paws were screaming!"

"You don't think I went a bit overboard?" Callie asked.

"No way. Those two needed to be taken down a peg or two. You definitely achieved that. You should have seen yourself, sauntering over to them with this spark jumping between your fingers. I thought that they were going to soil themselves out of fear," Felina said, and then resumed her laughter.

Callie started smiling after Felina finished speaking, then her smile turned into a light chuckle, and then she started laughing, herself. Not because of Ferdinand and Antonio's misfortune, but because Felina's laughter was very contagious.

Felina walked over towards Callie and placed her right arm around Callie. She said, "Come on, spark plug, we are not getting our massages anytime soon. Let's catch up with the others and have our nails done, as well as a facial."

Callie turned her head towards Felina and replied with a hint of disdain, "Spark plug?"
