Hello everyone, sorry for the wait, things have gotten out of hand in my life, and I had some big chapters in my Fire Emblem and Vesperia story, playing Legends of Arceus in my free time, and I will not add anything from that game into this story, I just don't see how I can add them in or want to. Also this chapter took a while, because of all the stuff I had to add in it, and something I want to do for fun. And a reminder, descriptions aren't my strong suit so sorry if they descriptions are terrible, I'm doing my best, plus everyone wears the same thing in Zaofu.
And as many of you heard we have gen 9 on the way, and I will add stuff from that game into his story, but I won't do it until the game comes out, and I have something fun planned for it when it does.
Now in this chapter you'll all finally meet the Trainer I put in the story at the end of book 2. So here's part 5

The Steel type Clan And A Steel Trainer
Earth Kingdom
After flying for a night, Lin laned the airship by a river, to figure out where to go next, but mainly so Lucas could take a bath in the river. And while Lucas was taking a bath, with Orbeetle using his psychic powers to keep an eye out for trouble, and have a cutent around Lucas, Korra was playing fetch with Naga, by using her airbending to make the ball fly far, with Naga loved. With Lin, Bolin, Treecko, and Numel behind Korra
"While you're playing fetch, and Lucas is taking a bath, four of the most dangerous criminals in the world. Are hunting you down, we should get moving." Lin said to Korra. "Relax. We just got here. Besides, did you smell Lucas, he needs that bath." Korra said to Lin. "I can hear you. And you spend a day in the sewers and tell me how you smell." Lucas said to Korra.
"Also, no one knows where I am right now except us." Korra said to Lin, as Naga came back with the ball. Naga gave the ball to Lin. "I think she wants you to throw it for her." Korra said to Lin. Lin just looked at the ball as Naga whimpered. "I'll pass. Thanks." Lin said to Korra, as Mako, Asami, Zoey, Scorbunny, and Fennekin walked out of the airship.
"We just got a call on the radio about another airbender." Asami said to everyone. "Finally. Where are they?" Korra asked. "A city called Zaofu, the home of the Metal Clan." Mako said to Korra, making Lin flinch. This made everyone look at Lin. "You know the place?" Korra asked Lin.
"Uh, never been, but I don't want you going there. I rest a lot easier if you were back safe in Republic City." Lin said to Korra. "But the President doesn't want us there. Pulse if these criminals are looking for Korra. I'm sure they would look in the place we call home first, so Republic City is a bad idea." Zoey said to Lin. "Sorry, but If there's an airbender in Zaofu, then that's where we're going next." Korra said to Lin, as everyone but Lin and naga got onto the airship.
"Lucas we're leaving." Zoey said to Lucas. "I'm coming." Lucas said, as he grabbed his clothes. After a few seconds, Lucas was ready to go, put Orbeetle back in his Pokeball, and walked to the airship, that;s when he noticed Lin popping Naga's ball. "Was that necessary?" Lucas said in, petting Naga, who was sad that her ball was popped.
A few hours later they made it to a large, shining metal city surrounded by four smaller metal cities. And everyone but Lin was staring out the windows looking at the city. "Wow, wow, wow! An entire city made of metal, Whoo! You should be right at home, Beifong." Bolin said to Lin. but Lin wasn't excited. "Does Lin seem moodier than usual to you?" Lucas asked Korra. "Maybe." Korra said to Lucas.
Then the airship landed on a tower. "Yeah!" Bolin said, as he and Numel started to run out of the airship, with everyone, but Lin, Naga, and Pabu, following him. "Aren't you coming?" Asami asked Lin. "What's there to see? It's metal. Big whoop. Just find the airbender, and let's get moving. And don't tell anyone I'm here." Lin said to everyone.
"Why not?" Korra asked Lin. "I don't need to explain myself to you. Just do what I say." Lin said to Korra. "Fine. You got it, Chief Cranky Pants." Korra said to Lin. "You're right Lucas, she is moodier today." Korra said to Lucas, as they left the airship.
After leaving the ship, they met an old man wearing green grobs with metal around his shoulders, glasses, and gold piercing, on his left ear and nose, and a gold chain connecting them, and two humans in armor, were waiting for them.
"Avatar Korra, Trainer Lucas and Zoey. It is an honor to meet you. My name is Aiwei" the man said to everyone, bowing to them. "Thanks for having us." Korra said to Aiwei. "Is this everyone?" Aiwei asked Korra. "Yep, just us. So can I meet the new airbender?" Korra asked Aiwei. "Of course. Right this way." Aiwei said, as they all moved to a platform. Then the guards made a metal gate rise, and the platform started to move down.
Republic City Air Temple Island
Back in Republic City, a small group of Flying type Pokemon had started to make their nest on Air Temple Island. Meanwhile inside Ikki and Meelo were showing two more airbenders around. "And this is the Air Acolyte Dining Hall, where everyone eats, and this Daw. he's a new airbender too, like you guys." Ikki said to them, surprising Daw, and making him generate a gust of air, as Daw stood up. "It's so nice to meet you. How exciting. New friends." Daw said to everyone.
"Excuse me, hello?" A voice said, getting their attention, making them see Zaheer walk in, with all his hair shaved off. "My name is Yorru. I heard this was the place to come if you're a new airbender." Zaheer said to everyone. "You got that right, stranger." Meelo said to Zaheer. "Well, a couple of weeks ago, I woke up, and suddenly, I could do this." Zaheer said to Meelo, before making a small tornado. "Mom, Aunt Kya, We got another one!" Ikki said to Pema and Kya.
Zaofu
Back in Zaofu, everyone was in a tram cart, moving through the large city. While traveling through the city, they all noticed Steel type Pokemon living in the city. "What's with all the Pokemon?" Lucas asked. "They showed up a few weeks ago. They were attracted to iron in our city. At first they were going to fight them. But a stranger came out of the large Pokemon and taught us about them." Aiwei said to Lucas. "How is this stranger?" Zoey asked Aiwei. "You'll meet him later. For now someone else wants to meet you all first." Aiwei said to Zoey.
Then they came up to a statue of Toph. "that statue honors the first metalbender, Toph Beifong, who expanded the possibilities of what bending were capable of. Here, everyone is encouraged to reach his or her highest potential." Aiwei said to everyone. "Does Toph live here? Are we gonna get to meet her?" Bolin asked Aiwei. "It would be an honor to meet such a master of earth." Lucas said to Aiwei. "I'm afraid not. She used to visit from time to time, but years ago, she left to wander the world in search of enlightenment. No one has seen her since." Aiwei said to Bolin and Lucas.
A few minutes later the tram moved to the mansion behind the large city. "Wow, is this where the airbender lives?" Korra asked Aiwei. "Yes, but first, her mother wants to meet you." Aiwei said to Korra, before leading them to one of the side buildings of the mansion.
When they walked into it, building, they were met by a large human-bug that was standing on two legs, three sharp claws on it's thick legs, two wings with two more smaller wings in in the wings, three sharp bumps on its head, and very long thorax, and the most nautical thing it's arms where blades. "Oh cool, a Scyther." Lucas said to everyone. "Scyther?" Bolin asked Lucas, making Lucas pull out his Rotom Phone and showing it to Bolin.
"Scyther is the Mantis Pokemon. A Bug and Flying Type. As Scyther fights more and more battles, its scythes become sharper and sharper. With a single slice, Scyther can fell a massive tree. And it's a girl." Bolin said to everyone, reading Lucas' Rotom Phone. "Now what are you doing here?" Lucas asked Scyther.
"Scyther." Scyther said, pointing to a group of people in the back of the room, who were using metalbending to do fancy dancing in the air using metal cables. With a few floating blow dics with six spheres on the sides of it, and each having two yellow eyes with black lines in them.
"Uh, a small group of Bronzor." Zoey said to everyone. "Bronzor?" Bolin asked Zoey, as Lucas moved his Rotom Phone back to Bolin's face. "Bronzor is The Bronze Pokemon. A Steel and Psychic Type. Implements shaped like Bronzor were discovered in ancient tombs. It is unknown whether they are related." Bolin said to everyone, reading Lucas' Rotom Phone. Then Lucas put his Rotom Phone away.
"Is this some kind of combat training?" Korra asked Aiwei. "Not exactly. They are rehearsing for a dance premiere next month, with the newly added Bronzors joining them." Aiwei said to Korra, the people danced around and bend metal making it look like a flower was blowing, and the Bronzors eyes glowing teal and moving metal flowered around, as the people danced.
Then a lady with dark medium long grey hair noticed everyone, and clapped her hands. "That's it for today, everyone." the lady said to everyone, making them leave, with Scyther following one of the young ladies in the group.
"Allow me to introduce the matriarch of Metal Clan, Suyin." Aiwei said to everyone. "Please, call me Su. Great to finally meet you Avatar Korra, Trainer Lucas and Zoey." the woman said to Korra, Lucas, and Zoey, as they all bowed to each other. "And this must be Mako, Bolin, Asami. And who are your Pokemon?" Su asked everyone. "We have Fennekin, Scorbunny, and Numel." Asami said to Su.
"You've done your research." Mako said to Su. "I make it my business to know who's visiting my city." Su said to Mako. "I can't tell if that's smart or creepy." Zoey said to Su. "So you're a dancer?" Korra asked Su. "Dancer, leader, wife, mother, collector of rare meteorites. You'll find people here have many skills and interests." Su said to Korra, before Aiwei whispered something into Su's ears.
"Korra, why did you lie when Aiwei asked tf there was anyone else with you?" Su asked Korra, surprising everyone. "What? I-I didn't. I mean… How did you know I was lying?" Korra asked Su and Aiwei. "I am a truth seer. When people lie, their heart rate and breathing increase. I can sense the most subtle of changes." Aiwei said to everyone. "Thanks to Aiwei, there are no secrets in our city." Su said to everyone. "Okay creepy it is." Zoey said to Su.
"We came with Republic City's Chief of Police. She didn't want anyone to know she was here. I'm sorry I didn't tell you." Korra said to Su. "Lin's here? Well, I would love to say hello." Su said to everyone. "Wait, you two know each other?" Korra asked Su. "You're joking, right?" Su asked Korra. "No she's not." Zoey said to Su. "Oh, Lin never told you about me." Su said to everyone. "Should she?" Lucas asked Su. "Yeah why would she?" Korra asked Su. "I'm Lin's sister." Su said to everyone, surprising everyone.
With that information, they took Su, who was in a dark green robe like everyone else in the city, to see Lin. "I found out why you were so against coming here. Why didn't you ever tell me or at least Zoey you have a sister?" Korra asked Lin, making Lin notice Su on the ship. "Yeah boss, after everything we've been through you could have mentioned to me that you have a sister." Zoey said to Lin.
"Half-sister." Lin said to Korra and Zoey. "Same mom, different dads. So what? We're blood, Lin. And after 30 years, the least you could do is say hello." Su said to Lin. "I have nothing to say to you." Lin said to Su, turning away from Su. "You two haven't spoken in 30 years- how come?" Korra asked Lin and Su.
"Ask her. I've tired." Su said to Korra. "Oh, don't put that on me. You're the one who tore our family apart." Lin said to Su. "And you've done a bang-up job keeping it that way." Su said to Lin. "You haven't changed one bit, have you?" Lin asked Su. "Look, we can stand here arguing about the past all day, But that's not the reason the Avatar and Trainers came here." Su said to Lin.
"My daughter and our newest member are thrilled to meet you all." Su said to Korra, Lucas, and Zoey. "Lin, your niece is the new airbender. Isn't that amazing?" Korra asked Lin. "Yeah. Terrific." Lin said to Korra, with a flat voice and look on her face. "Don't go crazy with that excitement, boss. But I would like to see this newest member." Zoey said to Lin and asked Su. "I'll take you to them now. Follow me." Su said, leading everyone but to the mansion.
Su led them first to a small spot court, with metal columns in it, and two young men that had the same dark skin, short black hair, olive eyes, and wearing the same green pants, and sleeveless black shirts.
By one of the goals, a was a mole that was a about 2 feet tall, with white eyes, it had brown fur, with some red spots, and a white long face, with a pink noise, and two red lines on it's cheeks, and had three metal claws with two sharp blades on the back of the middle claw, and a metal horn with two sharp blades on top of it.
By the other goal, a metal oval creature, covered in metal, with metal spikes on it, using three vines connected to slammer ovals that had spikes on it, and using these vines to move around.
"Those are my two youngest, Wei and Wing. they're playing a game called power disc. They invented it all on their own. Now they're trying to figure out how best to add their Pokemon Excadrill and Ferrothorn." Su said to everyone. "Excadrill and Ferrothorn?" Bolin asked, making Zoey pull out her Rotom Phone this time.
"Excadrill the Subterrene Pokemon. A Ground and Steel Type. It can help in tunnel construction. Its drill had evolved into steel strong enough to bore through iron plates. And, Ferrothorn the Thorn Pod Pokemon. A Grass and Steel Type. This Pokemon scrapes its spikes across rocks, and then uses the tips of its feelers to absorb the nutrients it finds within the stone. And their both boys Bolin said, reading Zoey's Rotom Phone, before Zoey put it away.
Wei then hit the metal disc hard and it flew past Wing and Ferrothorn, getting a goal. "Oh, nice power Wei." Su said to Wei. "Ha! Wing and Ferrothon goes down." Wei said, as he and Excadrill high five each other. "I'm so proud of those two." Su said, before continuing the tour.
Su then led everyone to an area with a lot of bent metal statues. There was a young man with long black hair, but a shaved patch on the left side of his head, olive eyes, and wearing black and green robe with decorated metal on it. And looking at a metal statue, and bending the metal on one of the statues.
"Huan, I want you to meet the Avatar, Trainers, and their friends. And your aunt Lin." Su said to the man. "Nice to meet you." Korra said to Huan. "Hey." Huan said, not turning to everyone. "Wow, that's a really nice… Banana. Yes, very, very lifelike." Bolin said to Huan, making Huan turn to Bolin. "It's not a banana! I was inspired by harmonic convergence. It represents the dawning of a new age, obviously." Huan said to Bolin.
"No, not really." Zoey said to Huan, before they noticed a large ant that looked like it was made of slightly rusty metal, and olive eyes, walking towards them, with a plate of steel in its pincers. "Uh, a shiny Durant." Zoey said to everyone. "Durant?" Asmai asked Zoey, making Zoey pull out her Rotom Phone again. "Durant the Iron Ant Pokemon. A Bug And Steel Type. They lay their eggs inside their nest. When attacked by heatmor, they retaliate using their massive mandibles. This one is a boy, but why is it called shiny, it looks all dull compared to the clean iron and red eyes one?" Asmai asked Zoey.
""Shiny"' means that the Pokemon looks different from others of its kind. According to legend, the first shiny was a gold Magikarp, and ever since then odd color Pokemon are called shiny." Zoey said to Asami, as she put her Rotom Phone away. "And this one knows what it's like to be me. A part of a hundred creatures that look just like it, and it stands out." Huan said to everyone.
"What is he talking about?" Lucas asked Su. "We have a colony of Durants living with us. They help mine ore in the mines around Zaofu." Su said to Lucas. "But not this one. This one is helping me create my amazing work of art." Huan said to everyone. "Oh, yeah, no, I c- I can totally see that. I- wait, let me stand here. Yes, I can see that now. Yes. Thank you." Bolin said to Huan, as he looked at the metal art work, and the tour moved on. "Bunana. I mean, that's a banana, right?" Bolin asked everyone, as they walked.
Su then led them to an open area. There, a young man with a slim body with medium silver hair and gray eyes. Wearing long gray pants, a silver button up shirt, a white lab coat and white glasses, six Pokeballs inside his lab coat, and a Keystone on the right side of his glasses, was standing on the left side of the space. Behind him, laying on the ground, was a seat with a half circle fence around it.
In front of the man was a floating metal creature with two large screws on it, sides right over its eyes, a yellow entine with a red circle under it, and three magnets on the bottom of it, with the ends of the magnetics having red and blue squares on it.
On the right side, was a young woman that had light tan skin, light olive eyes, short black hair, wearing green and light green robes, with little metal on it.
And in front of the woman, was a big silver bird with metal like feathers, a sharp fin on its head, a pointy tail, and three talons on the end of each of its legs.
"And that is my daughter Opal. And the man over there is Mason Kohan." Su said to everyone. "This Mason kind looks like you guys used to when you came here." Mako said to Zoey and Lucas. "Yes, but there's something different about him. I don't think he's a Trainer like me, Zoey, Lily, and Dakota." Lucas said to everyone.
"And it seems like Mason has a Magenzone. And Opal has A Skarmory." Zoey said to everyone, before pulling out her Rotom Phone again. "Magnezone the Magnet Area Pokemon. An Electric and Steel Type. It evolved from exposure to a special magnetic field. Its three units generate magnetism. And Skarmory The Armor Bird Pokemon. A Flying and Steel Type. Its body is draped in steel armor. It looks heavy, but it can fly at speeds of up to 185 miles an hour! And Magnezone is male, and Skarmory is female." Zoey said to everyone ,reading her Rotom Phone.
"Okay Opal it's your move." Mason said to Opal. "Okay, Skarmory use Fury Attack." Opal said to Skarmory. "Skarmory." Skarmory said as she charged at Magnezone with the front of her face glowing white. "Magnezone use Magnet Rise." Mason said to Magnezone. "Magnezone." Magenzone said, as he let out electricity, charging the area around them with electricity, and making rocks float. And making Skarmory slam into one of those rocks.
"I've told you Opal, attacking head on isn't always the best plan, and if the environment doesn't help you. Then change it to help you. Magnezone use Discharge." Mason said to Opal and Magnezone. "Magenzone." Magenzone said as he let out a surge of electricity. "Dodge it Skarmory." Opal said to Skarmory. "Skarmory." Skarmory said as she started to fly around. But the Discharge charged up the Mangent Rise, and it went wild. The elasticity zapped Skarmory, and knocked her out of the sky, making her crash near everyone.
Then Mason and Opal noticed the group, as the electricity faded, the rock returned to the ground, and Skarmory got up. "Wow, Avatar Korra, trainer Lucas and Zoey. I can't believe you're really here. You three are so amazing." Opal said, as she, Mason, and Magenzone moved to everyone, with Mason draggin the seat with him. "Mister Lucas Weber. It's truly an honor to meet you." Mason said to Lucas, taking his hand and wildly shaking it.
"Nice to meet you both. Now can you let me go." Lucas said to Opal and Mason, making Mason let go of him. "Sorry. It's not very often you meet a missing legend." Mason said to Lucas. "It's great to meet you, Opal and Mason." Korra said to them. "Opal? That's a beautiful name." Bolin said to Opal, making Opal blush a little. "Thanks." Opal said to Bolin. "I'm Bolin. And this is my Pokemon Numel." Bolin said to Opal.
"Aw I can't tell which one of you two is cuter. Oh, I mean I'm Opal. But, uh, you already knew that." Opal said to Bolin. "I can't tell who's worse, Bolin or this new girl." Zoey said to Mako. "Great. We found the airbender. Let's take her back to the airship and get out of here." Lin said to everyone, not looking at Opal. "And the woman apparently trying to abduct you is your aunt Lin." Su said to Opal.
"Really? I've always wanted to meet you. My mom has told me so many stories about you." Opal said to Lin. "I'm sure she has." Lin said to Opal not looking at her, and making Opal sad a little. "So I've set all of you up in the guest houses. While Korra trains Opal." Su said to everyone.
"Whoa, hold on a minute. Guest houses? We never said anything about us staying here." Zoey said to Su. "Yeah, I was hoping she could train with the rest of the airbenders at the Northern Temple." Korra said to Su. "That sounds amazing." Opal said to Korra. "Nonsense. This is where Opal's home and family are. You can train her here." Su said to Korra.
"No offense Su, but it sounds like Opal like the idea of traveling, and she can learn a lot more from Tenzin and Lily, then Korra. No offense Korra." Lucas said to Su and Korra. "None taken. But I guess I could help her get started." Korra said to Lucas and Su.
"Absolutely not. We're leaving." Lin said to Korra. "What's got her all riled up?" Mason asked Korra. "She's just a little worried because there are a bunch of crazy criminals after me." Korra said to Mason. "Okay. never though I hear that with someone sounding like it's normal. But Lin's right. A moving target is harder to find and hit. So maybe you all should go while you still can." Mason said to Korra.
"No they don't , If you're concerned about security, don't be. This is the safest city in the world." Su said to everyone. "You know everything about everyone here, doesn't mean it's safe." Zoey said to Su. "I assure you Zoey it is. Now, I'll see you all at dinner, and come hungry. My chief will blow the taste buds right out of your mouth." Su said to everyone, before leaving.
"Why do you have cuhc a problem with your sister? She seems nice. Come on, we can stay a little while." Korra said to Lin, making her growl meaning fine to Korra. "But before you go to your rooms. Can I ask you something, Mister Weber?" Mason asked Lucas. "Just call me Lucas. What is it?" Lucas asked Mason. "Can I battle you?" Mason asked Lucas. "Why?" Lucas asked Mason. "I just want to battle the lost champion of Galar. Even if I lost to him." Mason said to Lucas.
"Sure, but answer a few questions first." Lucas asked Mason. "Sure." Mason said to Lucas. "First, why did you call me the lost champion of Galar?" Lucas asked Mason. "Case, that's your title. You've been missing for months and everyone in Galar has been looking for you. It was all over the news. And then there was this really stand thing before I got sent here." Mason said to Lucas.
"And that strange thing?" Lucas asked Mason. "Well, you might find this crazy, but me and my partner glowed silver and our lights shot up into the sky." Mason said Lucas, making everyone look at each other realizing he was talking about the battle with Unalaq and Vaatu. "Then I enter a nest of Durants and here I am." Mason said to everyone.
"And how have you been here?" Lucas asked Mason. "A few weeks. I found Zaofu shortly after arriving here." Mason said to Lucas. "So it was you that taught them about Pokemon." Lucas said to Mason. "They taught me a few things too. Apparently I'm something called a metalbender." Mason said to Lucas. "You mean earthbender?" Lucas asked Mason.
"No, while I know earthbending is the control of rocks and ground, I can't seem to do it. But according to Su, I'm a quick study in metalbending." Mason said to Lucas. "That's odd. Normally it's the other way around, a earthbender has a had time bending metal, not a metalbender has a hard time bending earth." Lin said to everyone.
"Could it be from how he got here?" Asmai asked everyone. "Maybe, he did say he was in Durant nest, and he said he glowed silver. He must have a connection to Steel Types." Zoey said to everyone. "Mason, I have to ask, are you a Trainer like the others?" Mako asked Mason.
"No, I'm not a Trainer like Lucas here. I'm a novice Pokemon Professor, I research Pokemon, and Pokemon stuff. My specialty is Steel Type Pokemon, and I know a little about Pokemon tech, like a trade machine and Pokeballs." Mason said to Mako. "What's a trade machine?" Bolin asked everyone. "It's a machine that registered people trading pokemon, we do it this way so we know it's not stolen, and some pokemon evolve from that machine, like that Scyther we saw earlier." Lucas said to Bolin.
"Mason, did I hear you right. You know the science behind Pokeballs?" Zoey asked Mason. "Yes." Mason said to Zoey. "Do you think you can make some?" Zoey asked Mason. "I'm already working on that, but it's going to take a while." Mason said to Zoey. "Why?" Asami asked Mason. "I don't have the natural ingredients for them, so I'm experimenting with other materials to see what will work, and I don't want to raise a Pokemon's health until I'm positive these new Pokeballs are going to wait." Mason said to Asami.
"So Lucas, can we have that battle?" Mason asked Lucas. "Sure." Lucas said to Mason. "Great. Magnezone return." Mason said to Lucas and Magnezone, before putting the seat on Magnezone, and returning Magnezone to his Pokeball. Then Lucas and Mason moved to opposite sides of the open area. "Dragapult /Aggron, come on out." Lucas and Mason said, opening their pokeballs.
From Lucas' Pokeball, Dragapult came out. And from Mason's Pokeball, was a very large monster, made out of grey and white metal, a tail, bumps on its shoulder, and two long white horns, in it's white armor helmet like head, and a a silver crystals, with a white and grey core attached to the base it's tail.
"Say Hello to my partner and first Pokemon Aggron." Mason said to everyone. "That thing looks mean." Bolin said to everyone. "It is." Zoey said to Bolin, pulling out her Rotom Phone. "Aggron The Iron Armor Pokemon. A Steel and Rock Type. Aggron claims an entire mountain as its own territory. It mercilessly beats up anything that violates its environment. This Pokemon vigilantly patrols its territory at all times." Zoey said, reading her Rotom Phone, and surprising everyone.
"And while they may have a bad reputation. My Aggron is my most trusted friend, and always has my back." Mason said to everyone. "You two much have a strong bond." Lucas said to Mason. "Yeah, I was always picked on for being a nerd in school, but Aggron would always form to my rescue." Mason said to Lucas.
"Then I will honor your two with a serious battle. Dragapult use Dragon Rush." Lucas said to Dragapult. "Dragapult." Dragapult said, as teal energy wrapped around him and formed a dragon head and the bones of a dragon wing. Then Dragapult charged at Aggron.
"Block it, and use Heavy Slam." Mason said to Aggron. "Aggron." Aggron said, as he took the hit, and grabbed Dragapult and tossed him into the ground. Aggron then jumped into the air.
"Use Phantom Force, then Dragon Darts." Lucas said to Dragapult. "Dragapult." Dragapult said, as he made a purple portal appear under him, and his snake into it, and closed right before Aggron could hit him. Dragapult then appeared behind Aggron and shot out his two Dreepy.
"Use Earthquake to block." Mason said to Aggron. "Aggron." Aggron said, as he stomped the ground, and made a shock wave in the ground. The shock wave causes the Dreepy to go off course and they miss Aggron.
"Now use Aerial Ace." Mason said to Aggron. "Aggron." Aggron said, as he disappeared and reappeared behind Dragapult, and slash the back of Dragapult. This sent Dragapult flying.
"Dragapult recover, and used back to back Steel Wing." Lucas said to Dragapult. "Dragapult." Dragapult said, as he recovered and his fins glowed silver. Dragapult then started to do dive bombs on Aggron, making a cling sound with every hit.
After a bit, Dragapult stopped and moved back to Lucas. "Aggron used Heavy Slam." Mason said to Aggron. "Aggron" Aggron said, as he charged at Dragapult, and jumped into the air when he got close enough.
"Dragapult dodge with Phantom Force." Lucas said to Dragapult. "Dragapult." Dragapult said, as he opened a purple portal under him, and sinked into it. And closed it right before Aggron reached him, and made him crash into the ground. Dragapult then appeared in the sky above everyone.
"Now use Dragon Rush." Lucas said to Dragapult. "Dragapult." Dragapult said, as teal energy wrapped around him and formed a dragon head and the bones of a dragon wing. Then Dragapult came down on Aggron. And when he hit he made a large explosion.
When the dust cleared, Aggron was still standing, but he was tired. "Okay that's enough." Lucas said to everyone. "Are you sure? Me and Aggron can still battle." Mason said to Lucas. "Yes, Aggron is tired, and we have stuff to do before dinner. But if you want we can battle again, but next time we'll fight with more of our Pokemon." Lucas said to Mason. "That sounds cool." Mason said to Lucas, before everyone scattered to do what they had to.
After the battle, Korra led Opal to an open space in the back with a waterfall, and Treecko and Skamroy watched them from the side. "Okay, let's see what you got." Korra said to Opal. "I'm not very good." Opal said to Korra. "That's okay. I've never been a teacher before, so we're in the same boat." Korra said to Opal, before she got ready to do some airbending.
"You want to keep your elbows in, torso straight, feel just skimming the ground." Korra said to Opal, as she walked in circles around Opal, with her right arm out and her left arm at her side. "Why don't you try it with me?" Korra asked Opal. Opal joined her and copied Korra. Soon the two of them started to make wind blow around them like they were dancing with the wind. "Wow, you're a natural." Korra said to Opal. "You really think so? thanks." Opal said to Korra.
Republic City Air Temple Island
Meanwhile, Meelo was leading the new airbenders through the gates, but the airbenders kept getting tossed out by it. "You call yourself an airbender? Disgraceful!" Meelo said to a female airbender, after she got thrown out. Meelo then made Daw go into the gate. But Daw got tossed out of the gates. "Be the leaf!" Meelo said to Daw. "But I don't know what that means!" Daw said to Meelo. Then Zaheer entered the gates, and was able to go through it like it was nothing.
That's when Kya showed up, with a small fluffy light blue fathered duck on her left shoulder. "What's that?" A female airbender asked Kya. "She's a Ducklett. Here." Kya said, pulling out Lily's Rotom Phone. "Ducklett is the Water Bird Pokemon. A water and Flying Type. They are better at swimming than flying, and they happily eat their favorite food, peat moss, as they dive underwater." The female airbender said, reading Lily's Rotom Phone.
"Now that man's a leaf." Meelo said to everyone, as Zaheer walked to them, and noticed Lily's Rotom Phone in Kya's hand and the picture and info of Ducklett on it. "The student is only as good as his master." Zaheer said to Meelo, bowing to him. Meelo then bowed to Zaheer. "Great news. I just got a message from Tenzin. He's with a whole group of other airbenders at the Northern Temple, and he wants all of you to join them. We leave first thing in the morning." Kya said to everyone.
"And the Avatar is with them?" Zaheer asked Kya, raising a flag for Kya. "No, apparently she had to split off from Tenzin. "That's unfortunate. I was really looking forward to meeting her." Zaheer said to Kya. Some of the Flying Pokemon and Ducklett noticed this, and felt uneasy about Zaheer.
Zaofu
in Zaofu, the outer part of the cities started to close, turning Zaofu into a dome city. While that was happening, everyone and Su's family was having a chief hand them food, with their Pokemon, Pulse Zoey's Serperior, sitting next to their trainers. With Su at the head of the tabel, Korra to her right and Lin on her left. "Tonight, for your dining pleasure, I present a seared wild Kyoshi Elephant Koi, paired with a ginger-infused pea tendril and hibiscus root salad. And for the Pokemon my famous four nations salad, made from the best fruits of all four nations, and only found in their respective nations." the chief said to Su, before bowing. "Stunning." Su said to her chief before the chef left.
Then a man with light tan skin, olive eyes, grey hair, and wearing the same robes as everyone else in the city, stood in the doorway of the to him was a small gray mouse like ball with yellow and triangles on its body, white front, ears, and small feet, yellow cheeks, black eyes, and a small bolt like tail, with a yellow tip. "Aw what is that?" Bolin asked Lucas. It's a Togedemaru." Lucas said to Bolin, before pulling out his Rotom Phone.
"Togedemaru is The Roly-Poly Pokemon. A Steel and Electric Type. When it's in trouble, it curls up into a ball, makes its fur spikes stand on end, and then discharges electricity indiscriminately. And it's a girl." Lucas said to Bolin. "Sorry, dear, I'm going to have to take dinner in my office." the man said, before a man that looked like a younger version of him walked past the door with papers in his hands.
And following the young man was a living silver metal creature, with large feet, arms with the ends looking like they could connect and fit together, a thick bump tail, yellow eyes, and a red spot on the back of it's head. This creature was carrying a crate on it's back. "And that?" Asami asked Lucas. "A Duraludon." Lucas said to Asami, before reading his Rotom Phone. "Duraludon is The Alloy Pokemon. A Steel and Dragon Type. The special metal that composes its body is very light, so this Pokemon has considerable agility. It lives in caves because it dislikes the rain." Lucas said to Asami, before putting his Rotom Phone on the table.
"I just had a major breakthrough on the tram station remodel." the older man said to Su. "Well, don't let me stand in the way of inspiration." Su said to the man. "You're the best." The man said to Su, before he, the young man, Togedemaru, and Duraludon left. "And who were those two?" Zoey asked Su. "That was my brilliant architect of a husband, Baatar, and our oldest son, Battar Junior. He engineers all my husband's projects." Su said to everyone.
"Fine kids. What a nightmare." Lin said to Su, as everyone ate their dinner. "No, no, my children are a blessing." Su said to Lin, before eating. "Yeah, mon used to say that too, but she never meant it." Lin said to Su.
As they talked, Bolin enjoyed the food. "I have to admit, I was pretty skeptical when he said "pea tendril". But this is delicious!" Bolin said to Opal, making Opal giggle a little. "I know, right? I don't think I've ever had a bad meal in my life." Opal said to Bolin. "Oh, I had plenty when Mako and I were living on the streets. I mean, you'd be surprised how bad food from a dumpster can be." Bolin said to Opal. "I'm sorry. I didn't know." Opal said to Bolin.
"No, it's okay, it's okay. That's all in the past. Things are great now. I got to be a pro-bender, fought against a dangerous revolution, became a movie star, and now I'm helping the Avatar rebuild a whole nation, and I got Numal now." Bolin said to Opal. "Wow, your life sounds so exciting." Opal said to Bolin.
"How's your search for the new airbenders going?" Su asked Korra. "Honestly, not great. We had to rescue a whole group of them from the Earth Queen." Korra said to Su. "Oh, she's horrible. She thinks she can just do whatever she wants." Su said to Korra. "Sounds familiar." Lin quietly said. "What?" Su asked Lin. "Nothing." Lin said. I mean, the idea of even having a queen is so outdated- Don't you agree, Korra?" Su asked Korra.
"I haven't really thought about it too much." Korra said to Su. "Well, you should start. The world is evolving, and the Earth Queen can evolve with it or step aside." Su said to Korra. "Hey, everyone, my little sister is an expert on world affairs now." Lin said to everyone. "You wanna talk about what's really bugging you? Because I'm right here." Su asked Lin.
"Lin, Su relax. Besides, I wouldn't worry about Earth Queen too much. I'm sure Mewtwo has given her a warning." Zoey said to Su. "Mewtwo is here?" Mason asked Zoey. "Who's Mewtwo?" Su asked everyone. "Mewtwo is a legendary Pokemon made by science, rumors have it that he has no love for humans and if you get on his bad side, he'll make you pay. And if Zoey is right. Then if the Earth Queen steps out of line, she's done." Mason said to Su.
Then Varrick and Zhu-Li entered the room, and on Varrick's shoulder was a large yellow mouse, with a lightning bolt shaped tail, red cheeks, long ears with black tips, and black eyes. Above Zhu-Li was two gears spinning each with one eye, a white eye, and black oval on it. And on Varricks right wrist was a Dynamax Band. "Sorry we're late, everyone." Varrick said to everyone, surprising the gang. "Varrick!" Bolin said to Varrick. "It's go to-." Varrick said to Bolin, but was interrupted by Zoey lunging at him and forcing him out of the room, and knocking off the mouse on Varricks shoulder. "ZOEY! WAIT!" Lucas said, as he got up and ran after her.
After exiting the room, Lucas closed the door, by muscle reflex. "Now Zoey I need you to… OH NO!" Lucas said, as everyone saw a flash of fire. "OH THAT'S HOT!" Lucas yelled. "ZOEY PUT THAT DOWN!" Lucas yelled, before everyone heard something break. "HOW COULD YOU EVEN LIFT THAT!?" Lucas asked. "AAAAAAAAAAHHHH!" Lucas yelled before her burst open the doors, ran into it, tossing Varrick into the dinning room, and started to barricade the door.
"I guess she's still mad at me?" Varrick asked Lucas, as they heard the banging on the door. "What makes you think that?" Lucas asked Varrick, with a flat look and tune. "What are you doing here?" Asmai asked Varrick. "And what are you doing with a Pikachu, and why dose Zhu-Li have a Klink?" Lucas asked Varrick, as the banging stopped.
"Great question Asami and Lucas." Varrick said to Asami and Lucas, as he and Lucas took their seats, after picking Pikachu up. "A Pikachu and Klink?" Mako asked Lucas, as he took Lucas' Rotom Phone and looked them up. "Pikachu is The Mouse Pokemon. An Electric Type. Pikachu that can generate powerful electricity have cheek sace that are extra soft and super stretchy. And Klink is The Gear Pokemon. A Steel Type. It's suspected that Klink was the inspiration behind ancient people's invention of the first gears. And while Pikachu is male, Klink doesn't have a gender." Mako said to everyone, before putting Lucas' Rotom Phone down.
"Lets just call him a male, and Varrick you still didn't answer the question of why you're here?" Lucas said to Mako, and asked Varrick. "Still a great question. I mean, what are any of us doing here? Wow. Food for thought." Varrick said to everyone, before kicking his feet up. "Anyhoo, how's our company doing?" Varrick asked Lucas and Asami. "Our's? You mean are's. Cause you gave me yours after you got locked up in prison.
"And with Lucas' help, Future industries reverted back to me, and Lucas was in the middle of a rebranding campaign before all this." Asami said to Varrick. "I'm still working on that on the side while traveling." Lucas said to Asami and Varrick. "Maybe if you didn't plot to abduct the president, Lucas wouldn't need a rebranding campaign." Asmai said to Varrick.
"Allegedly plotted to abduct the president. Never convicted." Varrick said to Asami, before the door burst open. This made everyone turn to see Zoey and Golurk standing in the doorway. "Because you broke out of prison before your trial. And I'm going to drag you back to Republic city for that trial." Zoey said Varrick, as she walked up to Varrick and slammed her hand onto the table in front of him.
"No, the universe decided to set me free. So I looked up my old friend Suyin here, found Pikachu and Klink on the way here, Pitched Su a few ideas, a meteorite fell from the sky and almost hit me, Mason made me this Dynamax Band, and bam! We're on business together, with my new Varrick Industry." Varrick said to everyone.
"Can I set him on fire?" Zoey asked Lin. "Please don't do that. Varrick's heading up my new technology division." Su said to Zoey. "I've seen the future, and the future is magnets!" Varrick said to everyone, pulling out a magnet. "I was inspired by Magnezone. And I'm working on a high-speed rail that'll revolutionize transportation and shipping as we know it. But that's not all! I'm-" Varrick said to everyone, but Lin interrupted him.
"All right, enough! I'm trying to keep the Avatar safe, and you're harboring a criminal?" Lin asked Su, as she stood up. "Ease up, Lin. Sure, Varrick's made a few mistakes in his past, But that doesn't mean he should pay for it the rest of his life. My chief was a pirate, but now he's a culinary master." Su said to Lin. "His mistake was high treason. It's not a simple
"People change Zoey." Su said to Zoey. "You haven't." Lin said to Su, before knocking over her chair and leaving the room. "Lin!" Korra said to Lin, before Lin slammed the door. "Maybe coming here was a mistake." Lucas said to everyone.
A few minutes later, Mako, Bolin, Lucas, and Mason were in the bathroom, getting ready for bed. "So you and Opal seemed to hit it off at dinner. I think she's really into you." Mako said to Bolin. "Yeah, you know, she's sweet and pretty and super nice. Too bad she's not my type." Bolin said to Mako. 'Right, I forgot. Your type is dumb movie star or psycho ice princess." Mako said to Bolin. "You know that hurts a little bit. Right… here." Bolin said to Mako, placing a hand over his chest.
"You got no one but yourself to blame for that track record." Lucas said to Bolin. "Well in case you're wondering, Opal is single. Just so you know." Mason said to Bolin, making Bolin look at himself in the mirror. "You know, maybe you're right guys. Maybe Opal is Bolin material. Thanks." Bolin said to everyone, before . "I was learning more too, beggars can't be choosers. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go meet with Su and Korra. And when I get back, you and I are going to have a talk about giving Varrick a Dynamax Band." Lucas said to everyone, while giving Mason a mean look.
A few minutes later, Su, Korra, and Lucas, pulse their Pokemon in Su's office, with a lot of stuff on the walls, and a miniature of the city in the middle of the room. "You know, before I built this city, there was nothing here. I wanted to make my mark on the world." Su said to everyone, as they looked at the miniature.
"Making a city like this. You currently have." Lucas said to Su. "It's amazing. Thank you for being so welcoming, even after Zoey damaged your dining hall, and I'm sorry for how Lin's been acting." Korra said to Su, as they all took a seat. "Can I ask, what happened with you two?" Korra asked Su.
"It's complicated. We didn't have a normal childhood. Neither of us knew our fathers, and Toph was always busy being Chief of Police. Because mom grew up in such a strict house, she gave us all the freedom in the world, hoping we'd figure out our own paths." Su said to Korra. "That sounds like a good thing." Korra said to Su. "Maybe for someone like you, Korra." Lucas said to Korra.
"And in a way, it was. But we both ended up fighting for mom's attention. Lin followed in her footsteps and became a cop. I was more of a rebel." Su said to Korra. "You mean Criminal don't you?" Lucas asked Su. "Lucas, why would you ask that?" Korra asked Lucas. "It would explain why Lin got mad, when Su gave Varrick a second chance after he committed treason. Because she was a criminal as well." Lucas said to Korra.
"He's right, but I wasn't anything big. But mom wasn't too happy with how either of us turned out. When I was 16, I got kicked out of Republic City, and decided to explore the world. I sailed the seas on a pirate ship, joined a traveling circus for a while, and lived in a sandbender commune in the desert. It took me a while, but I finally realized what I was looking for was a family. So I bought this plot of land, found a brilliant architect who later became my husband, and created a place I could truly call home." Su said to Korra and Lucas.
"It sounds like you've created the perfect life here." Korra said to Su. "Almost. I've always wanted Lin to be a part of it, but I gave up hope long ago of her ever coming around." Su said to them with a sad face.
Meanwhile outside, Opal was practicing her Airbending, with Skamroy sleeping nearby. Then Bolin walked up to her. "Hey, little lady. Wow, you're really blowing me away with your airbending." Bolin said to Opal, doing a terrible flirting, and making airbending. "Why are you acting weird?" Opal asked Bolin. "Why are you acting weird?" Bolin asked Opal, making things worse. "I don't like how you're talking to me." Opal said to Bolin. "Skarmory were leaving." Opal said to Skarmory, waking Skarmory up, and leaving. "Skarmory." Skarmory said, as she got up and followed Opal, half asleeped.
Bolin realized he messed up. "Look, I'm sorry. I just get really self-conscious when I know a girl likes me, and I end up acting stupid." Bolin said to Opal, moving in front of Opal and Skarmory. "Who said I liked you?" Opal asked Bolin.
"Oh, no! But I thought- Mako said-" Bolin said, but Opal interrupted him. "Just kidding. But do me a favor and stop trying. Well, don't stop trying. Just stop trying so much. Just be yourself." Opal said to Bolin. "Huh, be myself. Yeah, I guess I could give that a shot." Bolin said to Opal, before the two just looked into each other's eyes and had a moment. But the moment was over, when Korra, Lucas, Treecko, and Dragapult showed up.
Korra and Lucas cleared their throat, getting Bolin and Opal's attention. "Oh, hey, Korra, Lucas. "Can we steal you away from Boling for a minute? We need your help with something." Korra asked Opal. Opal waved goodbye to Bolin, and everyone but Bolin left.
Republic City Air Temple Island
Back in Republic City, Zaheer sneaked into Tenzin study, where he keeps all his culture artifacts, and a small fountain. Zaheer then took a necklace with a man floating on it. Zaheer opened it to reveal some writing in it. "Let go your earthly tether. Enter the void. Empty and become wind." Zaheer said, reading the writing.
"What are you doing?" A voice asked Zaheer. Zahher turned around to see Ikki standing behind him. "Now one's allowed in daddy's study except daddy. Ikki said to Zaheer. "I'm sorry. I couldn't sleep." Zaheer said to Ikki. "What were you reading?" Ikki asked Zaheer. "A poem by Guru Laghima, The wisest airbender who ever lived." Zaheer said to Ikki. "I thought that was Lily's first life." Ikki said to Zaheer.
Then Kya and Ducklett entered the room. "Ikki, you should be in bed. Come on." Kya said to Ikki. "Night." Ikki said to Zaheer, before leaving. "Good night." Zaheer said to Ikki. "You seem to know a lot about airbender history. For someone who just got airbending." Kya asked Zaheer. "I've always admired the culture." Zaheer said to Kya. "And you moved through those gates like a natural. Where did you say you were from?" Kya asked Zaheer. "A small village up north. You've probably never heard of it." Zaheer said to Kya.
"Wait. Zaheer!" Kya asked, before she waterbend a some water around her blocking a burst of air from Zaheer. Then Kya formed a ring of water around her, and fired ice at Zaheer, as Ducklett fired a stream of water out of her mouth.
While they attacked Zaheer, Zaheer grabbed the glider in the room, and blocked and dodged the ice. Then Zaheer burst out of the window. This got the attention of the Pokemon nesting nearby, and they noticed Kya and Ducklett burst out of the window with water tentacle arms. "I need some help!" Kya said to everyone, before she wrapped a water tentacle around Zaheer, and jumped down into a pond, and pulled Zaheer into the pond. This made the Pokemon leap into action.
Kya then tried to freeze Zaheer, but Zaheer barely dodged it. And before Zaheer could counter attack, the Pokemon started to attack him, and it took all his focus to dodge their and Kya's attack. Then a burst of fire made everyone stop. "Hold it right there!" A male white lotus said to Zaheer, as he and another white Lotus member fired fire blasts at Zaheer, making the Pokemon move back.
While dodging the fire, Zaheer was able to hit Kya with a burst of hair, making her drop the Rotom Phone. Then Zaheer airbender the glider and Rotom Phone into his hands. This made Rotom abandon the phone in fear. Then Zaheer sent the White Lotus members flying into the pond with a burst of wind.
After doing that, Kya got up, and waterbend two massive water rings around her. Doing this made Zaheer notice all the Pokemon growling at him. "Sorry I won't be joining you at the Northern Air Temple. I'm afraid I have other plans." Zaheer said to everyone, before firing a gust of air into the ground, making a large dust cloud. Then the dust cleared Zaheer was gone.
Zaofu
In Zaofu, Lucas, Korra, Opal and their Pokemon moved to Lin's room, and knocked on the door. "Who is it?" Lin asked, while reading a paper, and before Korra opened the door a little. "Hey, it's me and Lucas. We brought someone who wants to talk to you." Korra said to Lin, opening the door revealing Opal behind Lucas. "You wanna talk, then talk." Lin said to Opal. "Go on." Lucas said to Opal.
"I'm sorry being here has been so hard for you. When you showed up, I was so excited to get to know you. I'd heard so many great things about you from mom and grandma Toph. So I guess I was kind of sad that you didn't wanna get to know me. Believe me, I know my family can be a little crazy and overwhelming sometimes, but I would love it so much if you would be a part of it" Opal said to Lin
But this made Lin mad. "Get out." Lin said to Opal, surprising Opal. "Sorry. Did I say something wrong?" Opal asked Lin. "Get out!" Lin said to Opal, making Opal leave with tears in her eyes, Skarmory followed Opal. "What's your problem? Don't get mad at Opal. I asked her to talk to you because I thought it would help you snap out of whatever funk you're in, but I guess I was wrong." Korra said to Lin. "And I supported this idea, cause I thought it's what you need." Lucas said to Lin.
"Why don't you two fouce on fixing the world and stop trying to fix my family?" Lin asked them, standing up and looking away from them. "Sus right. You're never gonna change. You're always gonna be a bitter, lonely woman." Korra said to Lin, before leaving with Treecko.
"Lin, I know things are complicated in your family. But at least you have one. I never had one growing up, it was just me and my friends. But you. You have a family and you're throwing it all away." Lucas said to Lin. Lin said nothing. "Look, I don't know what you're going through, and I know you won't tell me. But Su and her family are your family as well. And they want you to be a part of it. But you choose not to be, and that is what makes this truly sad. You, not wanting to have anything to do with your family." Lucas said to Lin, before leaving with Dragapult. Once they all left Lin silently started to cry, and tears ran down her face.
