Chapter 129: Believe It or Not, It's Right Behind You
While returning from the toilet, a disturbing chill slithered up Omaeno-san's spine. Someone was there with him, in the hallway. Someone…
"I'M RIGHT BEHIND YOU!" Damamu startled him, bounding up and slamming into the roof.
"Damamu…" Omaeno-san clutched his hand over his heart. "It's you."
"Hey, Omaeno? Can we Rush Duel?"
"Right now? This isn't the best time. We have three people unconscious in the spare room because the President is trying to become this Otes person."
"Chupataro said the same thing! I'm bored!"
"Chupataro is looking after the other Damamu. And I'm –"
"Why does everybody want to be Otes?" Damamu did side splits. "Asaka can't become Otes! She's not going to make it!"
At two years old, Damamu was still a bundle of smiles, ever oblivious to the weight of words.
"C'mon!" Damamu pouted. "Let's Rush Duel~!"
Omaeno-san acquiesced. They'd duel outdoors so Ranran, Asaka, and Damamu B could recuperate minus the noise.
"I'm Damamu!"
"OMAENO MONDAIII!"
"GO RUSH!"
"My turn! Draw! YAY, YAY, YAY! I summon Tamabot, Tamabot, and Tamabot! FUSION!"
Nikotamabot finished its docking procedure with its gigantic mecha.
"Mecha Tamabot: On! Ｔ・Ｋ・Ｇ!"
"Tama…Tama TAMA!" (Level 9 EARTH Machine/Fusion/Effect ATK 3000 DEF 3000)
"I put a Tamabot from my Graveyard on top of my Deck to activate Ｔ・Ｋ・Ｇ's effect! I gain 2000 Life Points, and Ｔ・Ｋ・Ｇ can't be destroyed by your card effects until the end of your next turn! I set a card! Turn end!" (Damamu LP 4000 ↑ 6000)
"Raising your Life Points to 6000 all at once…huh? My turn. Draw! They're he-ere…I summon Hanako-san Behind You and Okiku Doll of the Witching Hour! I send these two Undead-Types to the Graveyard. Advance Summon! Your shadow will always follow you around. Right behind you, without even making a sound, it'll chase after you, no matter where you run. If you turn around, look, it's right there! Come forth, Wicked Shadow Dark Lurker!"

"Afterwards, Dark Lurker returns to my hand. I activate the Magic Card, Black Awakening! I Special Summon Dark Lurker in face-up Defence Position! I set a card, and that's turn end for me."
"My turn! Draw! I send four cards including Tamabot from my hand to the Graveyard! Magic Card, Tamabomber! This turn, Ｔ・Ｋ・Ｇ's ATK goes up by 3000!"
"TAMATAMATAMA!" (ATK 3000 ↑ ATK 6000)
"By 3000? Whether you believe it or not is your problem!"
"Next, I return Tamabot from my Graveyard to the top of my Deck to activate Ｔ・Ｋ・Ｇ's effect!" (Damamu LP 5000 ↑ 7000)

The jet of soy sauce from Tamabot King Golem's knee cannon bent around Dark Lurker.

"The turn the Crawling Half-Body is summoned, I can add an Undead-Type Normal Monster with 0 ATK from my Graveyard to my hand. I add Okiku Doll of the Witching Hour, and summon!"

Dead Ruler gains 1000 ATK this turn, and if there is a Level 7 Undead-Type in my Graveyard, you also take 700 damage! The ghost of the Dark Lurker I sent to the Graveyard for Dark Lurker's effect the previous turn, hehe."

"Uweh? Omaeno has three Ace Monsters out?"

"You could have held back a bit, instead of rolling all over Damamu," Maki-san chastised Omaeno-san for not going easy on Damamu.
The mood at UTS was grim as is with Yuamu having acquired Resurrection of the Dead.
"Look! Damamu's rolled up all glum over the fence!"
"Glum? I'm not glum!" Damamu assured Maki-san.
"What?"
"That Duel was really something! Thank you, Omaeno!"
