Ch 8 The Master and Servant Met Again
Frankenstein's British Manor
Frankenstein was sitting in the Living Room, awaiting the return of Takeo and M-21. He turned on the Television, watching the News regarding a Monster Attack that took place in one of London's Public Areas,
"Oh my," A brunette Woman wearing a white shirt and a pair of Work Pants entered the Living Room with a tray of refreshments for her Boss, Frankenstein. She looked at the Television situated on the Wall, showing the Late Night Broadcast Station,
The News Station featured the chaotic Event that happened earlier that Evening.
Frankenstein turns to his Secretary, who sees the News being shown. "I know, Ms. Han, it's a very chaotic thing that happened earlier,"
Han Yoonah, the Wife of his RKs and Mother to M-21's Daughter stood next to Frankenstein. She was once the Secretary at Ye Ran Highschool in Korea, however with the events regarding the Union, Nobles, and Werewolves she and a few of his Students were caught in the fray.
After the Missile Crisis Years Ago, she was the one who ensured nothing was out of place during their absence. This includes comforting M-21 at the loss of Raizel,
Eventually, Han Yoonah was told everything, regarding them. At First, she was rather taken aback by the secret, but she came around once she realized that even if they weren't Humans they were still the same People she knew and loved.
"I sure hope M-21 and Takeo are okay," Yoonah said, worried for her Husband and Takeo, knowing they are First to respond in situations such as this.
Tao would've joined, but he was placed in charge of keeping the Highschool safe alongside Seria and Regis.
Frankenstein smiles, knowing how capable his Men are. "I wouldn't worry too much, Ms. Han. Both M-21 and Takeo are capable as it is," The blonde Man ensures the Human Woman that those Two will be fine. "They're well trained in their Areas when they were a part of the Union." He eases Yoonah's worries about her Huband and Takeo's return.
The brunette Woman nodded, knowing that Frankenstein was right. "You're right, Sir. But sometimes I can't help but worry and I can say that Mina is also too worried for M-21." Yoonah informed her Boss.
"Of course, a Child around Mina's Age tends to wonder where their Parents are, and often worry about them," Frankenstein said, happy to have the grey-haired Girl around the place. Suddenly, the Modified Human heard a Phone Call coming from his Pocket,
The blonde Man took out his Smartphone, replying to the Call. Frankenstein's Eyes spotted that it was Takeo calling, prompting them to answer it. "Takeo, I take it that this Call means you were successful in your Mission?" He asked his Subordinate.
-ZZZ- In a way Boss, we met up with Muzaka and Two of his Subordinates and dealt with some Lycanthropes like Rai predicted. -ZZZ Takeo informed his Boss of the situation.
"I sense there's something else going on, Takeo," Frankenstein said based on the Tone of his Voice.
-ZZZ- We met up with Rai, after the defeat of the Lycanthropes he requested to prepare to analyze a Blood sample from one of the Lycanthrope Victims to develop a Cure. -ZZZ- Takeo informed his Boss what Rai wanted to relay to him.
Frankenstein sat up from his seat, hearing the message Takeo relayed to him. Receiving another order from his master, was like a Dream to the loyal Servant of the Noblesse. "I shall set up the necessary instruments and tools for the Blood Sample, Takeo. Just make sure it remains intact when you arrive." The blonde Man said, heading to his Off-site Lab within the Mansion.
Yoonah quickly followed her Boss, ready to do anything he might need during his Work.
Frankenstein was heading down to the Mansion's Laboratory that was built underground, while Takeo was still on the Line. -ZZZ- Boss, there's also something you need to do before going to do the analysis…-ZZZ- Takeo spoke before the blonde Man could enter the Elevator to the Lab, -ZZZ- You need to prepare a batch of Ramen when we return. Rai is coming over as we speak…-ZZZ-
This halted Frankenstein's movements, as he heard his Subordinate say something that caught his ears. "W-Wait, Takeo are you saying that you're returning to the Mansion with master in tow?" The Modified Human asked, wanting to make sure he heard correctly.
-ZZZ-Yes, Sir, he's currently with us as we speak.-ZZZ- The Purple-haired Modified Human continued, informing the whereabouts of their master.
"He's with you currently?" Frankenstein turns around to Yoonah, standing behind him, awaiting what he needs her to do. "Alright, just let me prepare for his arrival Takeo." The blonde Man ended the Call, turning to his Secretary needing her to do something for him.
Frankenstein looks at the brunette Woman, waiting for orders. "Ms. Han, can you prepare some ingredients for some Ramen? I have to prepare some Instruments down the Lab," The Modified Human said, requesting Yoonah's assistance,
Yoonah nodded, heading to the Kitchen to prep some ingredients for the Ramen Frankenstein was going to make. "Yes Sir, I'll get to it." The brunette Woman said, obliging to the request.
The blonde Modified Human went into the Elevator, heading down the underground Laboratory preparing to analyze the Blood Sample his Subordinates were bringing to him.
An Hour Frankenstein has the Underground Laboratory all set up for the Blood Sample. He placed down a Microscope before hearing the Intercom on the Wall.
When he was about to listen to his Secretary, Frankenstein felt something familiar. A presence arriving at his private Mansion in Britain. A presence that he hasn't felt and knows that they'll meet someday, and that Day has come to fruition.
"Master, you have return…" Frankenstein smiles, placing down some Science Tools on the Table, about to leave the Lab to greet the Guests.
"Sir, Takeo, and M-21 have returned to the Mansion with some Guests…one of the Guests…um, I believe you should come and see this Person," Yoonah informed the arrival of the RKs,
"I'll be right there, Yoonah," Frankenstein replied to his Secretary. Normally he would be curious about the Person that the brunette Woman wants him to personally meet. However, the moment they enter the Property, he has since the Bond between him and Raizel gets stronger.
Frankenstein enters the Elevator, heading up to meet with the Guests. Once the Elevator reached the Lobby Floor of the Mansion, the Modified Human quickly departed from the Elevator, seeing Takeo and M-21 with Yoonah.
"M-21, I'm relieved that you came Home safely." Yoonah smiles, her face expression relief at her Husband's safe return.
The grey-haired Werewolf smiles, happy to be back with his Wife. "I'm Home, Yoonah. Is Mina doing alright?" M-21 asked, curious about how their Daughter is doing.
Yoonah smiles, responding to her Husband's question, "Mina's doing just, she's sleeping in her Room." The brunette Woman informed M-21 where their Daughter is.
M-21 nodded, seeing how Late it has gotten for young Children like Mina. As much as he wants to see the grey-haired Girl after what he has seen Tonight, he understands that she needs to rest.
"Ms. Han, it's good to see you again, though I wish our circumstances of meeting were different." Lunark greeted the Human Woman before them,
Yoonah turns her attention to the grey-haired Werewolf Warrior, smiling at meeting once again despite the situation. "Lunark, I haven't seen you since Mina's Birth. It has been too long," The Human Woman commented, "I also wish we were meeting under better circumstances."
"Despite that, I'm glad we get to meet again," Lunark said, both she and Yoonah developed a strong Friendship after the Missile Crisis incident. At First, they were trying to gain the attention of M-21, as Lunark can see he has chosen his Mate for Life.
After that whole ordeal, Lunark supported both Lovers' relationship, even becoming the Maid of Honor during M-21 and Yoonah's Wedding.
Frankenstein exited the Elevator as its Doors shut behind him. The blonde Man made his way to the gathering, seeing familiar Faces among Takeo and M-21.
Muzaka gazed around the Mansion, having a sense of nostalgia for the place, reminding him of the Mansion Rai owned back in Lukedonia. "Well, this place really took inspiration from your Old Mansion, Rai. Make sense since this is Britain." He commented before seeing Frankenstein walking towards them.
"Yo, Franken, how's it been?" The Lord of the Werewolves greeted the First Modified Human. "The last Time I saw you was at M-21 and Yoonah's Wedding." Muzaka smiles at the blonde Man before him.
Frankenstein sighs before properly greeting the Werewolf Lord. "Muzaka, it has been a while. I heard you continued your travels soon after M-21 and Yoonah's Wedding."
The grey-haired Werewolf chuckles, not denying what the Modified Human said. "What can I say? It's been far too long since I've last traveled around the World, and being recently awakened in the Modern Age, I can't help but be curious about what has changed during my absence." Muzaka said, placing his Hands on his side.
"If you're starting to worry about another Werewolf uprising, Gerda is handling everything during my travels," Muzaka said, reassuring Frankenstein that nothing like Maduke's regime would happen again. "However…"
Frankenstein's Ears caught the grey-haired Werewolf's last Words. He has a feeling about what he is going to say, "However, with the current situation regarding the rise of Lycanthropes, you're thinking about returning to the Werewolf Territory to better prepare your People for the problems they may bring to the Humans?" The Loyal Servant to the Noblesse said, assuming that's what he's going to say.
Muzaka chuckles, unsure how this Man was able to guess his plans. "Yeah you're right on that count, Frankenstein." The Werewolf cleared his throat, having taken enough Time from him. "In any case, I believe I've taken enough of your Time."
Frankenstein watches as Muzaka moves aside, revealing a Boy with smooth black hair wearing a white Sweater and a pair of Jeans. Though his Eyes were Amber, Frankenstein could see the hint of Crimson in his Eyes.
The Boy shifted his Head towards the blonde Modified whose Face was expressing both shock and relief at the sight of the young Man.
Frankenstein's blue Eyes shrunk, and quickly approached and knelt before Rai. His right Hand over his Chest and the left behind his Back, "Master," He greeted the Noblesse, his tone of voice expressing joy and relief.
Rai looks down at his Loyal Servant, knowing it has been far too long since he has seen Frankenstein. He gave a smile at the Modified Human, greeting him after twenty years apart. "Hello, Frankenstein. It's been a while,"
"Yes, it has, master," Frankenstein smiles, happy to be graced by the presence of his master reunited again.
A few moments into the Night, Rai sat at the Dining Room Table with a hot steaming Bowl of Ramen before him. 'Ramen…how I miss the smell of the aroma.' Rai mentally thought, waiting for this moment to taste Ramen again in his Reincarnation.
"Rai, how's the Ramen?" The black-haired Boy turns around to the brunette Woman who served him the Bowl of Ramen.
Rai remembered the brunette Woman from South Korea in Ye Ran Highschool. She was Yoonah Ha, Frankenstein's Secretary and the Person who has spoken to M-21 many Times whenever he pass by to meet with his Servant.
The black-haired Boy shifted his attention to the Ramen, causing Yoonah to flinch. "U-Um, did I mess something up, Rai?" The brunette Woman asked,
Yoonah was told everything about M-21 and the others a few Years back during the Honorary Werewolf Warrior's depression. When the grey-haired Modified told the Human Woman about his background among other things; Yoonah was speechless.
Never in a Million Years would Yoonah thought that the People she had gotten to know and the Person she worked underneath as his Secretary were not actually Humans. Despite knowing that the RKs and Frankenstein weren't Humans, including Raizel, the brunette Woman saw them as the same People she'd always known during her Work Days and outside the Work Area.
The brunette Woman stood beside the Dining Table where the young Noblesse was sitting. Yoonah looked at Rai, waiting for him to say something about what needed to be done to fix the Ramen. "Rai?" She asked the young Noblesse again.
Rai blinks at the Ramen while listening to Yoonah. "I'm waiting for the Ramen to grow…" His Amber Eyes then caught the slightest growth of the Ramen Noodles, prompting him to pick up his Chopsticks and proceed to consume the Ramen.
"Waiting for the Ramen to grow? You mean for the Noodles to absorb the broth." The brunette Woman said, understanding what the Noblesse means now.
Rai had a satisfied expression on his Face, at long last he was able to taste the delicious Food that the Humans were able to make (In his opinion), Ramen. "It's far too long since
In the other Room while Rai was eating he requested before coming to the Mansion. Frankenstein and the others who were involved with the Lycanthrope Attack in London.
The blonde Man smiles, relieved to see his master alive and well. Despite looking like a Child, Frankenstein wouldn't have in any other way. "After many Years of searching Britain for master, it has paid off in the end," Frankenstein said,
"Didn't you wait for the Noblesse for around Eight-Hundred Years?" Juraki asked the Modified Human, hearing about him waiting for that long from the rumors.
M-21 looks at his fellow Werewolf, answering the question. "That's what the Boss told us, though it's not really shocking considering they made a Blood Contract with each other." The Modified Human commented, "Is that not shocking? You guys are older than us, you should know that."
The blue-haired Werewolf Warrior crossed his Arms, "We were younger then and we don't know much other than the Nobles and our goals to be strong." Juraki stated, explaining the situation to the Honorary Werewolf. "Our Predecessors took on the responsibility of all those Politics of Lukedonia before we took over their place,"
"Huh, I keep forgetting that Nobles and Warriors are similar but different regarding Clan Politics." M-21 said, still learning more about his Werewolf Heritage.
"In any case, right now we have a pressing matter to be concerned over than a small conversation," Lunark said, moving the conversation along. "The Fact that there might be more Lycanthropes lurking around the Human City than the Ones we've faced Tonight."
Muzaka stood up from the Couch, agreeing with his Subordinate. "Lunark's right, what we Faced Tonight were recently turned Lycanthropes, most likely Humans who were forced to undergo the Transformation into them." The Werewolf Lord said, feeling the Natural Order of things being off-balanced. "Whoever is making the Humans into Lycanthropes is still out there, waiting for an opportunity to strike."
"I see, what about the Lycanthropes you've faced Tonight?" Frankenstein asked, placing his Hand on his Chin, seeing the severity of the situation. "From what Takeo and M-21 told me, you captured plenty of Lycanthropes. Did they manage to escape?" He asked, curious about the Captive Lycanthropes, finding it odd that they weren't with them when they arrived at the Mansion.
Everyone shifted their Eyes to each other, though what they witnessed earlier was a small feat for the young Noblesse at a small scale. The Fact still remains that Rai has used his Power to cure the Victims of Lycanthropy from their aliment.
"Hmm? What is everyone gone silent on me?" Frankenstein asked the Occupants in the Living Room.
Takeo was the First out of everyone to inform Frankenstein about what happened. "Boss, the Lycanthropes we've captured, Rai has used his Powers to Cure them from the Disease." The purple-haired Sniper informed the Loyal Servant what occurred,
The News of his master using his Powers as the Noblesse stunned Frankenstein. The Memory of Raizel using his Power to the Limits to stop the Missiles resurfacing in his Mind, "W-What do you mean master has used his Powers to cure the Lycanthropes?" Frankenstein asked, getting really concerned for his master's Life Force.
Everyone understood the blonde Man's state of worry. Muzaka, knowing Frankenstein for the longest to know how he can get regarding the Noblesse. "Frankenstein, I understand your concern over Rai, however, I do not think this is something you need to worry about." The grey-haired Werewolf said,
"What do you mean, it's something that I do not need to worry about?" Frankenstein asked, getting a bit hostile with them. "Master has used his Power again to Cure those Lycanthropes! Even though he only used it Twice, the fact still remains that if he continues to use his Powers then the same thing will happen again Twenty Years Ago!"
Muzaka turns his Head to Frankenstein, addressing his worries. "Yeah, I know but I don't think-"
"Franken…" Everyone froze, hearing the True Head of the Household's voice enter the conversation. They turn and face Rai walking into the Living Room from the Dining Room after finishing his Meal.
Standing next to him was Yoonah who had an apologetic expression on her face. "I'm sorry everyone, but after finishing his Ramen, Rai's insistence on joining you all," Yoonah said, apologizing for not stopping him.
"It's alright, Yoonah." M-21 said, knowing she couldn't exactly do anything to stop the most powerful Being in the World.
Frankenstein turned his Body to his master, inclining his Head to him, and placed his Hand over his Chest. "Master, I apologize for disrupting your Meal." He apologizes to Rai.
The black-haired Boy shook his Head, "No, your conversation hasn't disrupted my Meal." Rai looks at the Friends he made in the previous Incarnation. "I have finished my Ramen and prompted to join the conversation. Regardless, Franken, your worries about my Life Force limit are appreciated, however, you needn't worry."
Rai gave a small smile, answering the question that lingers in everyone's Mind. "Before my Rebirth when I was awakened to the Modern Age. I'm still recovering from my Battle with Muzaka." He explains to the group. "Even if Ragnarok has restored my Life Force and Muzaka given his to rejuvenate my own. Those were temporary solutions, I'm not sure how but my Life Force is fully restored,"
"The only setback from me using my Authority as the Noblesse is that I get hungry," Rai said, causing everyone to stare at him for a bit, hearing what he said.
"S-So that's why you asked for Boss to prepare Ramen when we arrive at the Mansion." M-21 said, making sense of the situation back then.
"Huh, so we don't need to worry about the Nolblesse's Life Force being used up the next Time we face the Lycanthrope Pack," Lunark commented as Muzaka interfered with her statement.
"I wouldn't risk it," Muzaka crossed his Arms, not liking his Friend to use his Powers every time only to have the bigger risk come and bite back. "Though having Rai being hungry after using his Power is somewhat a blessing than him suffering from his Life slowly leaving. I rather have him use it for emergency, especially now that he's a Human/Wizard."
Frankenstein turns to his master, completely forgetting that Rai wasn't a Noble like before but a Human/Wizard in this Lifetime. "To think we have something important like master being a Human slip our Minds." The Modified Human said, not knowing enough about Rai's condition to better suit his needs.
"Master, as much as it sickens me. I would like to run some Tests regarding your current condition after Reincarnating." Frankenstein said, wanting to understand his master's condition. "I may spent some Time with the Wizards, however, I didn't think of looking into their Biology before your return until now."
Rai nodded, approving the Tests on his by Frankenstein. For him, he hasn't really spent much Time learning about the Wizards since Four visited Lukedonia a long Time Ago. However, there is one thing that is much more important than himself. "Franken, what about the Blood Sample Takeo gave you? Did you have the chance to analyze it?"
Frankenstein looks up at his master, responding to his question. "Indeed, currently it's being processed and a possible Cure for the Lycanthropy Disease will be created given Time." He said, happy to relay this information to him. "I'll explain it once I do some Tests on the Cure before being in full use against those who Attack London."
Rai nodded, proceeding to do the Tests while waiting for the Cure to develop for the Victims.
