Back in Funland, Lincoln, and the older sisters are still fighting the gingerbread monster, and the youngest sisters continue protecting the civilians.
"This is literally ridiculous; how is a monster made of candy and cookies this durable?!"
"He must have used stale ingredients, hahaha, get it?"
"Luan, look out!" Called Luna.
Luan was swatted away and sent flying; luckily, Lori managed to catch her, although Luan ended up face-first in her bosom.
"Thanks, Lori, your fun bags really saved me," Luan teased, giving Lori's big boobs a playful squeeze. "Honk-honk,"
"Luan, you make one more joke about my boobs, and so help me, I'll-!"
Suddenly, the monster tried striking them both, but Lincoln flew in, catching the blow.
"Guys, focus,"
"You can try all you want, but my gingerbread monster is going to devour you all," Kid King mocked.
As the battle raged on, Bobby and the others watched, wanting to do more to help.
"We can't just stand here," Myrtle said.
"Maybe we can get to Gameland and get Ronnie Anne's help," Bobby suggested.
"We need the train,"
Suddenly, on cue, they heard the train horn blazing. Running to the station, everyone watched as the train rode in with Rosa at the controls.
"Abuela, thank goodness, where's Ronnie Anne? Lincoln and the others need her help,"
"Her help!? Roberto, she needs their help!"
Suddenly, Ronnie Anne came flying through the tunnel, slamming into the back of the train, to everyone's shock.
"Mija, what happened!" Rosa asked a dazed Ronnie Anne.
A few minutes ago
Back in Gameland, flying through the city, Ronnie Anne dodged Mr. Atom's blasts after her family escaped.
"You're no video game character; how did you con your way into ruling this land?"
"It was only right since this place is my prison,"
"What?"
"After that fool, Nabu destroyed my body, and my mind was banished here by that wizard, I watched this void take form and grow, born from the idiotic dreams of humans; it seemed only fitting I rule this world before moving to take over the other magic lands. All I had to do was convince them I was the first, and their sacrifices for my conquest will be remembered,"
"Who's Nabu? Sacrifices? Wait, your body!?"
"Made from the recycled coding of the losers and converted into a physical form that I can pilot," Mr. Atom informed. "But now the pathways to the original magic lands are reopened. I can conquer them before returning to Earthland,"
Mr. Atom then stopped chasing Ronnie Anne and flew to the train station. Attempting to enter the tunnel, Ronnie Anne blocked his way.
"You're not going anywhere!"
"Out of my way!" Mr. Atom replied before he blasted her through the tunnel.
Breaking out of her daze, Ronnie Anne readied herself for Mr. Atom, telling everyone to get to safety. Seconds later, Mr. Atom came flying in with Ronnie Anne, ready to engage; however, they both became distracted by the roaring of the gingerbread monster.
"What the heck is that!?"
"My new body!"
Mr. Atom took off for the monster with Ronnie Anne chasing. While protecting the civilians, Lily, Lola, and Lana notice a floating brain flying towards the battle.
"Where the hell did that come from?" Said Lily.
No one had time to think or berate Lily for swearing when the brain flew past them with Ronnie Anne chasing it. Once in range, Mr. Atom fired an energy blast, catching everyone by surprise. The blast barely missed Kid King but managed to blow off the top of the monster's head.
"What the!?" Lincoln asked.
Suddenly, the brain implanted itself inside the head of the monster, to everyone's shock.
"Dang it, I'm too late!" Ronnie Anne yelled.
"Ronnie Anne? What's going on? What happened to you?" Lori asked.
"What happened to me? What happened to you!?"
"Okay, literally not the time,"
"Right, sorry-sorry, that brain is Mr. Atom, and he just implanted himself in a gingerbread monster? Okay, what happened over here?"
"King was a usurper, enslaved the parents, and brainwashed the kids," Lori replied.
"And now it looks like our two problems just became one big problem,"
The monster began thrashing with Kid King, barely able to hold on before saying, "Mr. Atom is reborn!"
"What's happening?"
"Away you gnat!"
Mr. Atom flicked Kid King off and right into Lori's bosom; she pulled him out and was now holding the fallen usurper by his arm.
"Um, thank you?"
"Oh, don't thank me yet, twerp,"
Seconds later, Lori left Kid King hanging from the highest tower in an atomic wedgie by his underwear.
"Let me down-let me down!" he yelled, his voice increasing.
"Well, I feel vindicated, now to focus on the giant brain controlling an evil cookie," Lori said, only to go wide-eyed and slump. "What the hell happened to my life where that is a thing I can say?"
Lincoln, still focused on Mr. Atom, began blasting him; however, even with the Shazams fighting together, the battle was brutal.
"It's a cookie with a tin can for a brain! How can it fight back this good?!" Luna shouted, getting fed up with the difficulty level of this fight.
Waving his hands, Mr. Atom managed to grab Lincoln, struggling to break free as he was about to be eaten. Lincoln bit the hand, freeing himself, taking a piece into his mouth, and starting to chew as the wound started bleeding hot fudge.
"Peppermint! Wait, I managed to damage it when I bit it!" Lincoln said, realizing the monster's weakness. "Guys, eat it!"
"Lincoln!"
"No, I mean it literally; this thing is made of cookie and candy; if we can't beat it, then eat it,"
"Have you seen the size of this thing? You seriously expect us to eat ALL of it?"
"Do you have any other ideas?"
Suddenly, Mr. Atom knocked Lola to the ground, but she got back up pissed.
"I call dibs on the eyes!"
Lola immediately went in to grab her sugary prize, and Lana decided to join her. Lincoln also went in, the three chomping down on whatever they could.
"Stop that! Let go of me!" Mr Atom protested, trying to get them off.
The other sisters and Ronnie Anne looked at each other, wondering if they were really going to do this.
"Why not?" Leni said with a shrug before going in and taking a bite.
"I can already feel my teeth hurt, but-" Luan claimed but joined in. The rest soon followed, and one by one, Mr. Atom's body lost piece by piece like he was thrown into a pit of piranhas.
"Stop it, you beasts!"
The finishing blow was landed by Lily, who ate his candy heart and drank his hot fudge blood. With barely anything left, the gingerbread monster fell to the ground, with Mr. Mind rolling onto the ground. However, before he could react, he was blasted by the Shazams, rendering him unconscious.
"Yay, we won!" Leni cheered.
Later.
"Ugh, we won!" Leni groaned.
Everyone except Lola was lying in beds in the infirmary, feeling sick. After locking Mr. Atom up, everyone powered down but instantly regretted it since they now felt the consequences of ingesting all that sugar.
"I'm literally gonna puke, and I'm still clocking G-Cups!" Lori complains.
"Hey, look on the bright side Lori, at least you'll never have to worry about running out of milk, and if you want to make chocolate milk, hahaha, ow my stomach, it hurts when I laugh,"
"Luan, I'm gonna…gonna, Bobby, a little help! Lori called
Bobby rushed in with a bucket, handing it to Lori while holding her hair as she vomited.
"Thanks, boo-boo bear,"
Arturo was examining Lily, "I have good news and bad news; the good news is nobody is in life-threatening danger; they're all just experiencing stomach aches from overeating; the bad news is you're going to take at least a couple of days to work get out of their systems,"
"Can't we just power up?" Ronnie Anne asked.
We could, but eventually, we'll have to power down, and then we'll be right where we left off. Just like back when everyone had insomnia." Lincoln informed.
"Dang it!" They all replied.
"Lightweights,"
"Lola now is not the time to brag!" Myrtle berated.
"Sorry Gran-Gran,"
Suddenly, a bright light filled the room before transforming into an Egyptian Ankh. Stepping out was the same helmeted-capped person from before.
"You again?" Lincoln said.
"Champions, consider this a reward for restoring order,"
The person used her powers to cleanse everyone, relieving them of their stomach problems.
"Hey, I feel great," Lynn Jr. said.
"Yeah, me too," Lucy added.
"Farewell champions,"
"Wait, dude, you forgot me!" Luna groaned, still sick.
The person looked at Luna, her eyes narrowing under her helm.
"Fate doesn't forget," the person said, healing Luna. "Farewell,"
"Wait, who are you?" Lincoln asked.
"Call me…Dr. Fate," the person informed before disappearing.
Luna sat there wondering about Dr. Fate. How she looked at her gave her chills running up and down her spine. It reminded her of how she looked at Lincoln when she believed that photo hostel.
The Shazams and the rest of the family worked together to undo Kid King's rule and undid his spells, freeing the parents and un-brainwashing the children; all the spells were undone except for one.
"Ugh, why am I stuck like this?"
"Babe, it's not that bad,"
"Not that bad? Bobby, I literally have to buy new bras because my old ones can't fit me anymore, which is going to cost me a fortune, not to mention the cost of thongs,"
"Thongs? Why would you waste money on that?" Bobby asked.
"Do you honestly think I can still wear regular panties? The ones I'm wearing right now already feel like a thong," Lori informed. "Ugh, the money I'm going to have to spend on buying thongs is going to be astronomical,"
"Hahaha, ass-tronomical, I get it!" Laughed Luan.
"Shut it, Luan!"
"At least you're not over the top big like when you first looked in the mirror," Bobby comforted.
"Yeah, why is that? Shouldn't you have gone back to normal after you powered down?" Lynn Jr. questions.
"Well, I theorized that since Lori was being affected by the Kid King's spell when she powered up, it cleansed her along with our parents, grandparents, and Bobby. However, due to putting more effort into expelling the curse, instead of removing Lori's funhouse house mishap, it adapted it to her. Which is why Lori looks different in her Shazam form," Lisa explained.
"Wait, are you saying that because the lightning put more power into saving us, the energy left adapted the fun house spell to make it natural?"
"Correct, which is why in your normal form, while your assets are still larger than normal, only those who know you will notice,"
"Great, doesn't change the fact I have to spend a fortune on new underwear,"
"Or, you can just use logomancy to alter your current underwear and save yourself a lot of money," Lucy suggested.
"Lucy, that's genius,"
"But how are you gonna explain it?" Leni said.
"Just say I'm responsible; it would be the most believable to everyone who asks," Lisa said. "Although this may lead to other women demanding the same thing,"
"Why not just use a concealment stone instead?" Ronnie Anne questioned.
"A concealment stone?"
"Something Lincoln and I learned to make, it could hide your appearance from everyone so that you can look normal to everyone,"
"That's brilliant,"
"I'll show you the book in The Rock Of Eternity's library, but it won't hide anything when you power up,"
"Luna, are you okay?" Lana asked.
"That dude was going to leave me to suffer after healing you guys, and the way she looked at me, it's like she has a huge grudge against me,"
"Maybe she knows about how we acted,"
"Maybe, but it's just a reminder to me that I still have a lot to make up for. So much started because I got jealous and wouldn't listen to Lincoln or Sam, and then I got you guys involved in it. I know Lincoln forgave us, but I still can't forgive myself, at least not until I make things right with Sam,"
"Didn't you try to text her last week, and she told you to piss off?"
"Yeah, but let's be honest, dudes, I deserve that. If I'm going to make my apology really mean anything, I will have to do it in person," Luna said.
"Guys, it's time to go," Lincoln called.
A Few Days Later.
Life returned to relative normalcy, with Lincoln and the others responding to crises. Taking Ronnie Anne's advice, Lori made herself a concealment stone, which she wears as a necklace; however, while Lori can now hide her new enchantments, there are still awkward questions from her college friends about her odd walk or occasionally hearing a clapping sound. Elsewhere, Dr. Sivanna was still examining the sarcophagus; he managed to smooth things over with his military contractors; however, he was warned that one more slip-up like before and they would terminate their contracts.
"I'm almost done deciphering these hieroglyphics, except for one word that does not seem to make any sense," Sivanna thought.
"Daddy!" Georgia yelled.
"What is it now!?"
"Bobby won't return my calls; he blocked me. Do something!"
"You expect me to waste my genius, time, and energy over a boy?"
"Well, why not?!"
"Sweetie, I have to finish deciphering these hieroglyphics and finish my new project to smooth things over with my contractors in a week! So no! I will not waste my time and energy on your crush, now run along and don't forget to send my invites, "
Angered, Georgia stormed out, unwilling to give up.
"I don't care how pretty that blonde bimbo is; she doesn't deserve him. I'm going to prove it; maybe I'll start a smear campaign against her,"
A Week Later.
Georgia stayed true to her word; she anonymously spread false information about Lori, claiming she was a whore for seducing her man. Bobby and Lori ignored her; however, things escalated when Lori started getting threatening emails from different addresses to stay away from Bobby.
"I can't ignore this anymore; she's gone too far,"
"Bobby, there is no point in bothering with her. I'm not afraid of her; besides, this is sort of what I deserve for taking sides and trying to turn Ronnie Anne against Lincoln,"
"Babe, we worked that out, and we're better, but this is my fault. I should've never let Par twist my arm into going on that date tomorrow. I'm putting a stop to it,"
"Tomorrow?"
"Her dad is giving a new demonstration on his new reactor, Tio Carlos is going, and so am I,"
The Next Day.
Carlos and Bobby were heading to see Dr. Sivanna's latest project, which was being held at another of his buildings outside of Great Lake City. Carlos was reluctant to go, but his scientific curiosity got the better of him. Bobby finally came to put an end to Georgia's Internet harassment. However, they were surprised to see Lisa among the audience.
"Lisa, what are you doing here?" Carlos asked.
"Apparently, I was invited by Dr. Sivanna personally," Lisa explained, showing a backstage pass.
"So you can get us up there to see him?" Bobby asked
"Sure,"
The trio were then escorted to Dr. Sivanna's private booth, where he and his children, Georgia and Jr., were waiting. Georgia was excited to see Bobby, but a hostile look made her back off.
"Ah, Ms. Lisa Loud, and you brought guests,"
"Don't play dumb with me, Sivanna; you know who I am, and I believe your daughter knows my nephew,"
"Yes, well, we're not here for that now, are we," Sivanna brushed off. "Ahem. Ms. Loud, I've heard many interesting things about you and invited you to my demonstration to make you an offer,"
"Which is"
"A prodigy like you shouldn't waste her talents; how would you like to work for my company?"
Lisa, Bobby, and Carlos were surprised by the offer; however, Lisa quickly collected herself.
"While your offer is quite fascinating, I must respectfully decline,"
"Listen, kid, my dad doesn't just make this offer to anyone you un-"
"That's enough, Jr.! Ms. Loud, please explain why?" Sivana interjected.
"1. A plane from your airline nearly crashed into and killed my family and myself, 2. The incident regarding that giant robot might not be public knowledge, but I do stay well-informed on events in the world of science,"
"And the third?"
"Your daughter has been harassing and threatening my eldest sibling for a week,"
All of the Sivanas looked confused; however, among all the people, Bobby decided to take advantage of it.
"You're all a little confused, so let me explain. Lisa Loud, Lori Loud. I know you're all supposed to be geniuses but do you see the connection now?"
Dr. Sivana glanced at Georgia, causing the girl to become nervous as she sweated a little, realizing the trouble she was in.
"So thank you again, but I,"
"Wait, at least stay for my demonstration, and afterward, I will personally have my daughter write your sister an apology, and I guarantee that she will never bother her or her boyfriend again,"
"Fine, then I will stay for the demonstration,"
"Wait, before we go, I just want to say this," Bobby stated, giving Georgia a firm look "I will never pick you over, Lori. There are so many reasons why, but I don't want to spend another moment around you listing them, so move on and leave us alone,"
The three left, leaving Sivana furious with his daughter, who tried to find the words.
"You get on your hands and knees and beg that little brat's sister's forgiveness,"
"But Daddy,"
"No buts, that brat is my ticket to getting back in good grace with the science community. Now, go make yourself useful. Run the final diagnostic on the reactor to ensure there are no errors in the system. I can't afford any more mistakes!"
"Yes, Daddy!"
Georgia headed to the lab and began her diagnostics; however, she was too caught up in her mind to pay attention.
"I apologize to her!? That's ridiculous! She should be apologizing to me for stealing my Bobby! That blonde bimbo seduced him because she's pretty, but I'm smarter, and one way or another, she and Bobby are gonna know," she thought, storming out of the lab, accidentally forgetting to check the data.
A few Moments Later.
Georgia got on stage with her brother and father, and seeing Bobby angered her, though she hid it with uninterest.
"Good, you're back. Is everything ready?"
"Yes, Daddy,"
"Good, let's begin,"
Stepping to the podium, Sivana began addressing the crowd in his usual fake friendly attitude.
"I know some of you are reluctant to be here due to my previous "mishap," but I assure you that while anyone is capable of making a mistake, very few learn from them, but I learned from mine,"
Pressing a button on his podium, a large compartment on stage opened up, allowing what looked like the upper half of a mechanical brain encased in a dome to rise up,"
"Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you Project: Firestorm,"
"What is this thing, Sivana?!" Called General Eiling.
"This, my friends, this is the answer to our planet's energy and pollution problems. Project: Firestorm is a reactor that absorbs the pollution and toxins in our atmosphere and converts them to a new renewable energy source, which I call Firestorm, that can power a state. This will undo years of damage to our planet in a matter of months, once they've been installed in all 50 states,"
"Won't this put other power companies out of business and cause multiple job losses?" A reporter asked.
"I understand that there will be some unfortunate backlash for progress, but for the betterment of our planet, sacrifices have to be made. Plus, if you ask me, no decent person would deny the world a surplus of clean energy just to keep big oil in business."
The crowd showed reluctance and skepticism, making Sivanna's glasses gleam.
"Perhaps a demonstration will change your mind," Sivanna said. "Jr. disconnect all power in Michigan,"
Gleefully, Jr. pulled out a remote and pressed a button that shut everything down. It wasn't just the building; it was all of Michigan; even places like Lynn's Table were affected.
"Have you lost your mind, Sivanna? Do you know how many people on life support you probably killed!?" yelled Eiling.
"None, lights!"
Suddenly, the lights came on, surprising everyone in the demonstration.
"Because my reactor activated the moment the power was shut off,"
Everyone saw the reactor was working, but no sound came from it.
"As you can see, thanks to the reinforced soundproof glass dome, Project Firestorm is rendered completely soundless. Although there are still some minor inconveniences,"
"Inconvenience?"
"Hey, my phone isn't working," Eiling stated.
"Unfortunately, my reactor sends out a pulse that renders all communication devices inoperable within a 5-mile radius,"
"How is that a minor inconvenience?"
"Once Firestorm is placed in a proper location, proper shielding will be installed to prevent this little inconvenience while still providing unnecessary power,"
"Fine, color me impressed; now turn off your device,"
"Very well, son, shut it down,"
Jr. pressed a button to reactivate the power grid and turn off the reactor; however, he soon realized something was wrong.
"Dad, I think we have a problem," Jr. whispered.
"What are you talking about!?"
"The power grid is back on, but Firestorm didn't shut down!"
"What!?"
"Oh no, it's worse than that; Firestorm is absorbing energy from the grid and converting it into its own energy,"
"It's not supposed to absorb energy, Georgia. I thought you made sure there were no problems with its programming when you ran the diagnostics!"
"I did; everything was fine," Georgia lied after realizing she didn't.
"What's the hold-up, Sivanna? My phone still isn't working," General Eiling stated.
"My apologies, the pulse lingers for a good 20 to 30 minutes; please relax until it dissipates," Sivanna lied, seemingly convincing everyone. "I bought us some time; now let's get to the lab and shut this thing down before this place blows up,"
Unfortunately for Sivanna, Lisa is an avid lip reader and made out what he said.
"Dang it, I can't just sit here, but if I power up, I'll expose everyone, including myself," Lisa thought.
Lisa quickly realized she could call one of the others to help, but her phone wasn't working. Fortunately, she had another way of getting help.
"Mary…Mary, it's Lisa. Can you hear me?"
"What's wrong, Lisa?" Mary asked, appearing in Lisa's glasses.
"Something bad is about to happen, and I can't power up without blowing my cover. Can you call one of my siblings and tell them to get here quickly!"
"None of your siblings are near reflective surfaces except for…Lori! She's near one, and she's, oh boy!"
"She's what?"
"You don't want to know. I'll just go get her," Mary said, disappearing.
Fairway University.
Lori had just finished showering and was relaxing in her dorm room. She wanted to call Bobby and see how things went with confronting Georgia, but she knew he was still with his uncle Carlos and didn't want to bother him. Feeling bored, Lori decided to take a few selfies for fun. Wearing only her bath towel, she began posing and taking many selfies; however, despite being good, they didn't feel natural. Lori looked down, realizing she was still wearing her concealment Stone necklace; feeling a little nervous, Lori wondered to herself if she should.
"It's literally fine; Marisa won't be back for a few more hours,"
Removing her concealment stone, Lori disappeared in a puff of smoke before quickly reappearing in her true figure. Her large breasts pressed hard against her towel, giving off a large amount of cleavage, and her butt also stuck out nicely under her towel. Lori started taking more selfies; however, these felt more natural and made them look sexier, as her towel barely closed around her chest.
"Now that's more like it,"
Lori grinned, deciding to be more daring as she opened the top of her towel, allowing her boobs to bounce out. She began taking selfies of her breasts and a few of her butt after pulling up her towel. Excited, Lori compiled all her dirty selfies into a folder and sent it to Bobby with a message telling him to open the folder when he was alone.
"Bobby boo-boo bear, you're going to love my little surprise,"
Lori removed her towel and began admiring her naked body.
"You know, this isn't so bad; I look super hot with these melons and this booty," Lori said, squeezing her boobs and slapping herself on the butt.
Lori began making several poses showing off her figure.
"If you're done floating your assets, we have a situation!
Lori jumped before grabbing her towel. "Ahh! Dang it, Mary, don't pop in like that!"
"No time. That event that Lisa is attending is about to go haywire, and she needs help,"
"Event? Wait, Bobby and his uncle Carlos are also there; I'm on my way,"
"Wait, shouldn't you-"
"There's no time to go through the lobby; I'll jump out the window and power up!"
"Wait, that's not what I-"
Mary didn't get a chance to finish before Lori jumped out the window. Unfortunately, her towel snagged as she jumped out, but she didn't notice that she cried out.
SHAZAM!
Transformed. Lori was relieved that no one saw her as she flew off. People started getting suspicious at the demonstration, but Lisa slipped away and found her way to the lab. There, she began listening to Sivanna panicking,
"No, the energy absorbed from the grid is violently reacting to the Firestorm energy!"
"Father, according to my readings, the reactor will reach critical mass soon; we must evacuate! Jr warned.
"Are you crazy? The moment they find out something is wrong, my career is over!"
"Then they don't find out, we lock them in, and we escape through our evacuation tunnel; we'll blame the incident on someone sabotaging the machine," Jr suggested.
Sivana smiled. "Good thinking, but who?"
Suddenly, their security system alerted them to an incoming breach, which showed one of the Shazams was now miles away just as the glass dome began cracking.
"Great, it's one of them!"
"I think she's Master Shazam, and is it me or is she hotter!" Jr. stated.
"No! She could ruin everything,"
"Or she could be the perfect person to take the fall!" Georgia suggested.
"Great idea, call your brother, tell him to have all my research moved to my private villa,"
"Yes Daddy,"
"Jr. activate the defense system, set them to stun that should slow her down, and put the building into lockdown, keeping them trapped while our escape pod arrives,"
"Yes Dad!" and aren't you a little upset that your precious Bobby is going to die?" Jr. mocked.
"A little, but if I can't have him, at least that bimbo won't either," she replied. "Besides, there's always that hunk Shazam,"
Jr. rolled his eyes as he activated the defense system.
Warning Defense System Activated.
Building Lockdown Initiated
Everyone in the demonstration room became alarmed when the doors locked, preventing anyone from leaving. Lori was about five miles from the building, and although eager to help, she was confused by the lack of visible danger to her.
"I kind of expected it would be literally some kind of resistance,"
Suddenly, multiple gun turrets popped up and began firing.
"I asked for this!"
Lori effortlessly dodged the onslaught. Knowing that turrets were being controlled didn't take Solomon's Wisdom. Taking advice from Lincoln and Luan about mocking a villain can throw them off their game, Lori decided to try it.
"C'mon, you've got two big targets in front and two in the back, and you still can't hit me?" Lori mocked, swaying her chest, knowing whoever was shooting at her was most likely watching from a secret camera before showing off her butt and saying. "C'mon, free shot, right here!"
Lori's taunts quickly pissed off Georgia, who was watching, her insecurity, jealousy, and envy all on full display.
"Is that bimbo mocking us?"
"Jealous you've got nothing in the front or back to front to flaunt?"
Georgia was about to say something, but her father cut her off.
"Enough. Our pod is here. It is time to leave. Set the defense system to Lethal Force, and let's go!"
Lisa watched as Jr. turned up the threat level before he and the rest of his family entered the small room before she heard what sounded like an elevator. Outside, the turrets begin firing more aggressively, forcing Lori to dodge even faster.
"Okay, maybe teasing the bad guy was a bad idea," she thought while continuing to fly towards the building.
Knowing she was clear, Lisa ran to the console at first, trying to shut down Project Firestorm. However, she realized it was too late, and it was at least 10 minutes before the reactor explodes; she opted to shut down the defense system and the building lockdown.
Once Lori was clear, she flew faster, bursting through the front door.
"Babe?"
"Everyone, please evacuate the building quickly and efficiently. This building is about to explode," Lisa announced as she came running.
The audience quickly became panicked and began running towards the door. Once outside, Lisa took advantage of the panic and slipped away.
SHAZAM!
In a flash, Lisa was now powered up as she flew back inside to join Lori.
"Where are the others?" Lisa asked.
"Don't you remember? Today, Mr. Atom was being transported back to Gameland to be locked up." Lori explained.
"Dang it, the two of us will have to be enough,"
"What's the plan?"
"This thing only has a few more minutes before it explodes. We can't stop it, but maybe we can funnel it,"
"funnel it?"
"We'll use our powers to contain the explosion and channel the blast in one direction, where we want it to go"
"Okay, I'll follow your lead,"
Combining their powers, they created an energy dome with a hole on top just in time to contain the reactor as it exploded. However, the blast was contained inside the dome, channeling energy to the sky. The energy from the blast nearly broke the dome, but Lisa and Lori's combined power and focus seemed to be enough to keep the blast under control.
"How long do we have to hold this!?" Lori struggled.
"Until all the energy is gone!"
Everyone breathed a sigh of relief outside the building while watching the energy shoot to the sky, except for Bobby, who was trying to find his Tio Carlos. Bobby looked everywhere, but unfortunately, he couldn't find Carlos. Suddenly, a horrifying realization hit him.
"He's still in the building!"
Bobby began to run back towards the building but was stopped briefly by General Eiling.
"What are you doing, you idiot?"
"My uncle is still in that building so out of my way!" Bobby yelled, running back to the building.
Back inside, Lori and Lisa are still struggling to contain the explosion. Despite their best efforts, the energy dome they created is cracking.
"This would have been easier if the others were here, but whatever this energy is, it's way more powerful than I expected,"
"Do you think it's atomic?" Lori asked.
"Does it matter either way?" Lisa asked back, to which Lori shook her head and pressed on with her sister.
Running back inside, Bobby started running around trying to find his uncle, paying no attention to the imminent danger on stage. After a few seconds of searching, he found Carlos unconscious on the ground. During the panic evacuation, someone knocked Carlos to the ground, knocking him out. Despite Bobby's skinny frame, he could still hold his uncle up and walk to the exit as fast as he could, with Carlos's arm over his shoulder.
"It's too much, I can't contain it anymore!" yelled Lori.
"Neither can I; it might still be strong enough to take out this building, but at least no one's in here to get hurt,"
"Then we let go on three!"
"1…2…Bobby!?"
"3!"
The dome broke, and the explosion went off. Everyone outside watched from a safe distance as the building went up, and a mushroom cloud and the force of the blast knocked them back.
As the audience returned to their feet, they all realized their phones were now working and immediately began calling 911. However, General Eiling called someone else.
"Someone better find me that quack Sivanna immediately!"
Lisa climbed out of the destroyed building's rubble; however, Lori was already out digging through the debris.
"No-No-No, please no!
"Lori, what's wrong?!"
"Bobby and his Tio Carlos were still in the building!" Lori yelled, throwing debris aside.
"What!"
"I can't find them. This is where they were when the blast went off, and I can't find them! What if—what if?!
Lori's eyes shrink with a horrible feeling; the last time she felt it was when Bobby dumped her for what she and her sisters did. Lori felt the happy life and the children she would have with Bobby all slip away; however, she held onto a slither of hope that they would get back together. However, there was nothing to hold on to; she just watched, so if she envisioned getting blown up. Suddenly, another realization struck her: how would she face his family? How would she face the Casagrandes and Santiagos and explain to them she let Bobby and Carlos die? The grief overwhelmed her as her arms went slack, and the tears started flowing. Lisa stood there, unable to figure out how to help her sister except by letting her cry it out. Suddenly, Lori began to hear moaning coming from some nearby debris.
"Bobby? Boo-boo bear?"
"Babe? Is that you?" Bobby said, buried under debris.
Lisa and Lori immediately began removing the debris, trying to get to him as fast as possible.
"Bobby, your Tio Carlos, is he with you?" Lisa called.
"Yeah, I can't see him, but I can hear him!" he called back.
Getting close, the girls noticed a glowing light, which made them move faster. Once all the debris was removed, the glowing light became brighter as Bobby climbed out, leaving Lori and Lisa in shock.
"Boo-boo bear? Is that you!?"
"I think so; why!?" Bobby asked in a distorted voice.
