Computers worked for her though, that she could do. So when she gets a job as a technical analysts for the FBI she can't pass up her dream job. She never expected to fall for a genius though...

She was buying coffee for the team when three armed men demanded everyone's wallets and phones. The situation worsened when they discovered the lack of cash. Emily persuaded the three UnSubs to take her hostage to aid their escape from the approaching police officers. She was last seen leaving the coffee shop handcuffed with the three armed UnSubs five hours ago.

Rossi and Garcia are abducted and forced to survive in the woods together.
