Rayman says to the assembled Soul Princes and friends, "The Cave of Bad Dreams, ladies and gentlemen. a subterranean grotto in which the nightmares of Polokus are found, and it is the job of Jano, the cave's guardian to ensure they are kept locked away. I actually haven't had a chance to come down here in a while, but I have been needing to come check it out…" Sora offers, "If anyone needs protection from dark energy, I have some replica Organization XIII cloaks that should be just what you need… I assume that there's a lot of it down here."
As Bentley's dark energy detectors hit an all time high, Ratchet responds with, "I think we'll be fine. If it gets to be unbearable, we'll let you know. Remember, Soul Princes can't become Heartless…" "Point taken." Gameplay in a cave using the Rayman Origins graphics style but in 3D, an absolute treat for fans. As the Soul Princes slowly make their way to the main room, fighting off an avalanche of ReDead (how did those get to the Dream Galaxy in the first place?!) and Darktoons, Rayman notices someone hiding behind a nearby rock. He focuses on the thing's pale gray gloves. "I don't want to be right, but there's a chance that thing is my evil copy Raymesis…" At that, Ratchet announces, "Everyone, on guard!" … "Wait!!! Don't hurt me!" Rayman and the team meet a limbless thing that looks like Rayman, just with purple and blue hair instead of Rayman's blonde and orange hair. It starts purple and gradually becomes blue and then sky blue. He has Rayman's dark blue eyes, but his skin is slightly paler. He wears a lime green torso with a white square and a neon orange bandana resting on top. The color of his gloves are pale grey. His shoes are royal and navy blue with the rest white and a red spot on the top. On the backs of the white soles on the heels are jade green diamonds.
"We won't hurt you. Promise." As Bentley wheels up for a handshake, the thing cowardly backs away in fear. "I… I think he's scared of your wheelchair, Bentley." "Wouldn't be the first time that's happened. Remember the dog that lived near our safehouse?" Sly gets a grin on his face as Rayman attempts to talk to him. "Shy little guy, aren't you? What's your name?" "…Drayke. I've been living in the area for a while with Jano taking care of me." At that moment, a boom hits the cave wall. "Haven't seen you in a while… Magician." He does an evil laugh and points at Drayke. Ratchet comments, "I think he's after you…" As Sora, Sly and the others get into battle stances, a giant Dream Galaxy Toad similar to the one in the Rayman Legends E3 trailer comes into view.

Transition into gameplay, and for this fight you have to help guide Rayman's energy ball attack around the room so they can launch into the Toad and take out a portion of the health bar. After doing this a few times, it falls through the floor. "Huh. A TKO, and Murray didn't do it." As it keeps falling, a light comes out of the dark crater the Toad created. "The World Ring!" The ground shakes as Jano, this place's guardian also comes out of the hole. "Rayman!!!" "Sorry Jano, I didn't expect the fight to end like that…" "Bad news, I have to go and do some major cleaning down there. Good news: Drayke is safe." "It was a close call." "And that is why he's going with you for his own safety. Don't make me regret this…" "We won't let you down."
