Nicol Bolas teleported back to the plane that held his plylactory.
Due to his current state of disrepair, he pretty much crash landed right in front of Almarra who looked at him scowling.
"It would seem that you have failed me," she said bluntly, "I warned you about that."
Despite his current state, Nicol tried to rise to his full height to glare at her, but failed at his attempt.
"You cannot control me. I am Nicol Bolas, God Pharaoh Of…"
"I know who you are, you fool. Your over pretentious titles do not phase me in the least. You have failed and now you will know the price of failure."
She reached into her robes and pulled The small onyx stone that held his soul within it and smiled sinisterly as she showed it to him. Then she tossed it to the ground and cast a spell of pure black lightning on it, cracking a corner of the stone.
Nicol roared in pain and rage, but he could do nothing now that his phylactery was broken he would suffer.
She turned to her servant that was once Serenity's master Dimenyez, handing him the now cracked stone.
"Get rid of this trash and make sure that he suffers slowly and painfully."
"Yes, my lady," Dimenyez said bowing. "I shall return shortly."
"Oh no you will not, you shall stay with him, and watch him suffer that is your punishment for failing me as well."
"B…But my lady we need to capture Serenity."
"Yes and both of you have failed at that so now I will take matters in my own hands and bring her here myself Now go, or I will make you suffer far worse than you ever thought possible."
With that, she sashayed out of the room leaving the lich, and spirit to their fate.
"Come failure," Dimenyez said "let's go suffer together."
Then he used the phylactery to compel Nicol to follow him to the plane of pandemonium.
Once there, Dimenyez sat staring into nothing while Nicol thought about his sorry state looking as a tiny sliver of his soul leaked out of the onyx stone that Dimenyez had thrown to the ground just out of Nicol's reach.
Despite his current sagging situation the dracolich began to remember the voice of the girl that had defeated him. Her voice was haunting, and pure he realized that he wanted that girl to be his, but that at least was not possible and there was nothing that he could do about it. and for Nicol Bolas this sad fate was far worse than any death that Ugin nor any other opponent could have given him.
In one last cry of defiance the dragon roared into the noise of the plane. His cry of rage, pain, and anger could be barely heard. Then the dragon collapsed to the ground and awaited his sad fate.
