Once we crossed through the portal we found ourselves in a peaceful, quiet place.

"Ugin Do you recognize this place?" I asked him.

"No, I have never been to this place before," he answered, breathing heavily.

"Are you alright Ugin?" I asked him with concern.

"Yes I am fine," he said. "I just need to rest a minute."

After looking around he spied a rock that we could land on.

"Lets rest over there," he added.

"Okay as long as you're not hurt."

Ugin flew to the small outcropping of rocks and landed resting. After a moment his breathing was back to normal.

I looked around, but could not see much.

"Ugin, please tell me what you see."

Ugin lowered his hand and helped me climb out of the pouch. I sat on his hand as he described what he saw.

"The sky is a pure clear blue, the mountains and rocks are brown, and there is a mountain to our right, and a palace on the mountain to our left. The palace is very large as well, and very bright like pure platinum."

I tried to look, but it was so bright and due to my new nearsightedness I was not able to see much, but his description gave me a pretty good idea of what we were looking at.

Ugin spoke again. "It would seem that we have others coming to greet us."

"Who?" I asked.

"It appears to be some dragons."

"Are they like Dromoka and the others?"

"No, these two appear to be golden in color. Shall we go to meet them?" He asked.

I nodded nervously and turned to give Ugin a hug.

"It's alright, don't be afraid I am right here with you."

Then Ugin gently placed me in the safety of the pouch and took flight off of his rock to meet the other dragons.

As we approached them the bigger gold dragon shouted to us in draconic.

"Chromatic scum, how dare you enter the sacred grounds of Celestia."

Then he raced toward us. As he got closer the gold dragon blasted a mouthful of fire at us. Ugin quickly put up a defensive barrier, and shielded me with his wings.

"What are you talking about? We come in peace," Ugin answered in Draconic as well.

The younger dragon who was catching up to us yelled.

"Look brother, he has a hostage with him (meaning me.)"

Before Ugin could reply I spoke to the pair in draconic as well.

"I am no hostage, Ugin is my father."

"Father?" The male dragon asked then cursed at Ugin. "How could you brainwash this poor defenseless human?"

"Don't worry," the female dragon said, "we will save you, and restore your mind."

I shook my head in exasperation, and snuggled against Ugin as he flew. Ugin made no moves to counterattack the two gold dragons; he merely continued to block, and evade their attacks.

The female dragon demanded to know "why won't you fight back scum?"

Ugin answered "I have no desire to fight you. I am merely defending us against you. I would much prefer to talk this out."

"Shut up filth!" The golden male roared. "There is no talking to your kind."

Ugin again dodged another blast of fire. At this point I had given up trying to talk, and just held onto Ugin as he flew.

Suddenly we heard a booming tenor voice that was calm and soothing, but also held a commanding presence.

"Orik. Orika Please do not harass our guests. Please bring them to the palace to talk." "Yes my king," the two golden dragons said in unison.

The male spoke to Ugin. "Don't make any bad moves or I will kill you."

Ugin, and I both looked at each other, and shrugged. Then we followed the two gold dragons who had flown ahead. With that we made our way to the huge shiny palace that loomed in the distance.
