"So," AJ says, kicking her feet lazily as she lays on her stomach and watches Mike trying to sort through his luggage, a grimace on his face. "big tag match for Mania, you and Truth against everyone else. Think you'll be alright facing off against DIY?"

"Sure," he says distractedly, trying to make room for everything he's going to need for Wrestlemania week. "Ciampa, Gargano and I may be friends now, but we're all good with some healthy competition. Always have been." He finally stuffs the last pair of slacks into the suitcase and groans, closing it with a resound snap. "Think the main question is if I can get all of this to Pennsylvania without it splitting open."

She smiles at him. "I have to say, I'm usually not that pleased with your media responsibilities, but since it means you'll be accompanying me and the kids and can come to see Alicia's first appearance at 3 Legacies, I may never complain about it again."

Mike smirks and leans over to kiss her. "I'm happy I can come too. Maybe I'll get Alicia's autograph." He winks at her and she huffs, swatting at him.

"You're horrible. Keep that up and Ricardo will ban you from all future events."

"He wouldn't dare," Mike laughs, before dropping down on the bed next to her and slumping over, resting his head on her back. "You're a great pillow," he mumbles into her skin, tracing his fingers over her hip. "I may just fall asleep like this."

She scoffs, wiggling until she gets free and his head drops unceremoniously against the mattress.

"Uh!" he scoffs, staring at her in disbelief. "I can't believe you just did that." He pouts until she rolls her eyes and scoots over, cradling his face in her hands before giving him a slow, hungry kiss.

"My poor baby," she mocks him before lightly slapping the side of his face. "Gotta go check on the kids," she explains when he casts a strange look at her as she gets up. "Get comfy, I'll be back in a couple of minutes."

"Alright," he sighs, kicking his pants off and shrugging out of his shirt. He's left in boxers and a tank top, and he decides it's enough as he drops back against the pillows and closes his eyes.

He's out as soon as she returns and she pauses in the doorway, watching him sleep for a few minutes. "Good night," she finally murmurs, wrapping the sheets and blanket snugly around him before cuddling in next to him, pressing a gentle kiss to the side of his face.
