At the Library

Luz ran to the library and was met with Amity at the front desk.

"Oh, hey Amity, how's it going?" Luz asked, walking up to the green haired witch.

"Luz, um hey things are good." Amity said, looking around trying not to embarrass herself.

"I am hoping to do some research on something here in the boiling Ilse." Luz said with her face turning a little red.

"Oh well then maybe I can help you find a book on it." Amity suggested hoping to impress her crush a little.

"Well Eda was telling me about mermaids, and I've always wanted to learn more about them." Luz explained. "In the human realm we have this belief that mermaids are a sign of good luck when it comes to a relationship, but that's not why I'm researching them. I've been interested in mermaids almost as much as witches."

"Well from what I know most books we have on mermaids were confiscated by the empire when people were hunting them, but a few are still here." Amity said, looking through a few records. "Here we are, three books are still here in the library, one is in the forbidden section while the other two are still up for grabs."

"Thanks Amity, you're the best." Luz said, hugging Amity across the desk. Luz then took the paper Amity that wrote the location of the books on and ran to find her reading material.

"No problem." Amity said as a grin formed on her face.

"Excuse me but could you help me with something?" a voice asked, getting Amity out of her own little world.

"Sure, what can I do for you?" Amity answered, looking at a demon boy.

With Luz

"Okay let's see." Luz thought looking through sections looking for the right one. "Here we go." Luz pulled out a book titled Boiling Sea life. As she looked at the book it seemed a bit old.

"There you are Luz." a voice said behind Luz.

Luz immediately screamed, dropping the book she was holding. When she turned around, she saw that it was Gus. "Gus you really need not to do that." Luz suggested picking her book up.

"Sorry but I've been looking for you." Gus apologized.

"What for?" Luz asked as they walked back to the front deck. "Is this about your club?"

"Kind of." Gus answered.

"What do you mean kind of?" Luz asked, placing her book on the front deck. When Gus didn't answer she gave Gus a look of don't even think about lying to me again.

"Okay so a few of the girls in my club are from the healing track and they were wondering if you would tell them more about the biology of human females." Gus explained.

"Gus I'm going to need you to be honest with me." Luz said as Amity picked the book up so that Luz could check it out. "Did you promise them this before even asking me? Thous if I don't go and answer their questions you will be seen as a liar." Gus immediately got on his knees ready to beg for Luz to help him, but she stopped him. "Tell them I answer their question after I've finished researching something I want."

"Thank you, Luz." Gus quickly said.

Luz sighed as Gus left the library knowing that she needed to get better at saying no at times, but that was a lesson for another day. Today she was going to learn about mermaids. As she walked out of the library with her books a boy with blond hair ran past her. "He must be in hurry for something."

With Hunter

"Um excuse me could you tell me where your books on boiling sea life is." Hunter asked the librarian at the front deck.

"Oh, sorry but someone already checked those books out." The Labaran explained. "But if you wait about a week, they'll be back, I'm sure."

"It's fine but could you tell me who has them." Hunter quickly asked. "I have a project and I really need those books."

The Librarian made a spell circle and a scroll appeared then unraveled itself with the paper going to the man's feet he then adjusted his glass and looked at the scroll. "Looks like the one who has the book you're looking for was checked out today by the human girl."

"Thanks for the info." Hunter said, walking away and out of the building. "That's perfect, the human has the book I need. Looks like I'll have to think of something else." Just then Hunter saw a group of Coven scoots following Kikimora towards the docks. "Or maybe a new chance just showed itself." Hunter immediately started to follow the group.
