"Alright you worms, the Emperor has given us the task of checking everyone of these ships for anything suspicious." Kiki explained as she held up a sheet of paper signed by Belos. "In his great wisdom he has given us a letter of authority so that any ship that doesn't cooperate with the search we have the right to detain them. Now then get to it."
"Yes, Ma'am!" the scouts shouted in unison.
"You!" Kiki shouted pointing at Hunter.
"Yes ma'am. What can I do for you?" Hunter quickly said hoping she'd hadn't discovered who he really was.
"Read off the list of ships so that we don't miss a single one," Kiki said, handing Hunter the list of ships that need to be checked. "And remember we're checking each one of these ships twice so once we checked them the first time read off the list at random."
"Okay." Hunter said, unrolling the list. "The first ship is the cargo ship The Undead."
"Alright then, move out." Kiki ordered.
The scouts soon followed after Kikimora as she walked down the docks through the ships to find anything she could use as a reason to sink them. As they checked over some of the ships they found out some ships had been smuggling weapons to organizations wanting to start a war, others had creatures considered endangered in cages for black markets, they even found a ship that was trafficking young witches that ran away from home.
"Thank you so much." a witch no older than fifteen cried.
"You there." Kiki shouted pointing to a scout that was giving the witches blankets.
"Yes ma'am." the scout said back saluting.
"Stay here with them until their families come to get them." kiki ordered. "Then quickly rejoin us once your done. I leave two others with you."
"Understood." the scout agreed.
"The rest of you come with me." Kiki said walking away. "What ship is next?"
"What, um oh the next one is the Black Crow." Hunter answered quickly, reading the last ship on the list. "Wasn't that the name of a pirate ship?"
"It is but Belos gave them a chance to reform themselves or be imprisoned." Kiki explained with a bit of venom in her voice. When they got to the end of the dock where the ship was supposed to be they saw that it was empty. "Where are they?"
"Hey you." Hunter immediately shouted trying to keep Kikimora from doing something she shouldn't. "Where did the ship go."
The man that Hunter had questioned looked at the spot then said, "They said that they had business for the Emperor's Coven and went out to sea."
Kikimora shouted, "Someone find us a ship immediately, we're going after them!"
As the Scouts immediately ran to get a ship ready Hunter stayed near Kikimora and said, "So I'm guessing the Emperor never gave them an order."
"Listen well scout the Emperor gave us orders to search all the ships, thus he would have made sure ships that we command would have been checked first so that others would know we don't make exceptions when it comes to making sure curtain specs stay alive."
"Kikimora, we have a ship ready to go on your command." a scout said, running up to them.
"Good we leave immediately and make sure the cannons are on standby." Kikimora ordered walking passes. "The moment we have them in our sights, fire and sink the ship."
"Are you sure that's good idea," Hunter quickly said. "What if they have a mermaid on the ship by the time, we find them."
"For your information I highly doubt they would have a mermaid on their ship." Kikimora said as they got on the ship. "And before you ask, if they had one they would need a curtain type of tank to hold them in so as not to kill them before they can get the scales. Most likely at this moment they are making sure that their mark is in a location they can use. Thus, it will be essential that we destroy their ship so that they are set back months of work. "
Hunter followed Kikimora onto the ship amazed that she thought that far ahead and started to see what his uncle meant when he said that Kikimora when given a bit more freedom would get the results needed.
"Now that's move out," Kiki shouted. "We have a ship to sink."
