Amity made her way toward the Owl house with a list of things needed for the spell of seeking.
"Okay now I just need an object and a written agreement for using the spell." Amity said to herself as she walked. She then felt that someone was watching her and turned around not seeing anyone. "Okay that can't be that weird bird tube thing, I'm too far out." Amity then heard the rustling of the bushes and got ready a spell circle only to stop when a little creature came out. "Oh, just a little forest mouse." Amity then continued on her way to the Owl house.
"I should keep an eye on her." Hunter said coming out of the shadow of a tree. "She might be Lilith's appearance but she is still a Blight."
Amity got to the Owl House to see Luz leaving.
"Oh hey Mi…Amity." Luz said seeing Amity. "Sorry about that hearing Ed and Em calling you that she starting to get to me."
Amity sighed knowing Luz didn't mean it in a teasing way and said, "It's fine but maybe you can find another nickname to call me."
"I guess I should." Luz said, rubbing the back of her neck. She then placed a kiss on Amity's cheek. "It's good to see you by the way."
Amity smiled then said, "Yeah, I came to ask you something actually."
"Oh, um well I was sort of hoping you could help me as well." Luz said. "You see I want to get better with my other half and to do so I need to be in that form. Is there a chance you know of a place we could go and no one would see us?"
"Oh." Amity said, thinking of a place where she could swim. "I think I know a place."
"Really." Luz said, sounding excited.
"Yes, if we climb down the edge near the grom tree there's a spot that's close to the way and I can use my magic to make a platform for myself." Amity explained. "The best part is that the rock at the boat makes it impossible for boats to get close without damaging themselves. Plus the cliff somewhat hides the bottom so if someone comes by they can't see us and I think there is a cavern under the water that you could hide in if someone comes by."
"That sounds like the perfect spot." Luz said. "Give me one sec to grab somethings, then we can go."
"Okay." Amity said as Luz ran back inside. She then saw Hooty staring at her. "Stay away from me and I won't hurt you."
"Hoot you're a mean girl you know that." Hooty said.
"And you need to learn about personal space." Amity replied coldly. Luz then came out of the house with a backpack. They then made their way to the Grom tree, once there they looked around and when they saw the coast was clear Amity made a Abomination rope down for them. Once Luz touched the rocks she used a glyph to make a small dock out of plants and Amity covered the part in the water with Abomination goo. "Okay that should do it."
"Now for the fun part for me." Luz said, taking her shirt off.
"Luz!" Amity shouted, covering her eyes.
"Sorry I forgot to tell you I was wearing a swimsuit under my clothes." Luz said seeing Amity covering her eyes out of embarrassment. "You do know what that is right."
"Yes, we have water that we drink." Amity said, uncovering her eyes. "So, we have pools filled with swimmable water, it's just most people don't really use them because they don't see a point." when Amity looked at Luz, she thought her heart was going to beat out of her chest." Luz was wearing a dark purple two-piece swimsuit.
"Guess you got a point." Luz said, rubbing her neck. "Sorry again." Luz then jumped into the water and took her mermaid form. As Luz's head came out of the water Amity noticed that her hair was longer now.
"Does your hair normally do that?" Amity asked somewhat, coming back to her senses.
Luz touched her hair then said, "Oh I was testing a few things out last night and found out if I change my hair in this form, it won't affect my dry form. Do you like it?"
"It looks good on you." Amity said, taking a seat on the makeshift dock.
"Oh right, what did you want to ask me?" Luz questioned leaning somewhat on the dock.
Amity then took out her notes and looked at what Lilith had told her, and said, "I want to make a seeking spell so that I can find you in case something happens, and I need your permission along with an object from you, like a lock of hair on something you have on you." Amity's face went a bit red at hearing herself ask for a lock of Luz's hair. "I know you can take care of yourself but…"
"Amity, I get it." Luz said, holding her hand up. "You're worried about me. I'll give you the permission so long as you let me do the same for you. Because if I'm not wrong the spell can also tell you how healthy the other person is too."
"I think that's fair." Amity said, flipping to a new page. Luz then swam around for a bit trying to control the water around her. Amity then started to giggle at seeing Luz make water bubbles.
"Hey, you down there." a voice shouted.
"Luz hide." Amity quickly said while she put her notes away. Luz immediately went under the water and Amity hugged the side of the cliff keeping out of sight.
"I know you're done there, Blight." the voice shouted. "We need to talk."
