Alright, here it is. The final chapter before The Penultimate Arc. We've come a long way, but the horizon is just around the corner. I want to thank everyone who's stuck around, even if feelings about the last few chapters have been mixed, I still wouldn't change a thing. If you want to know when we'll reach Season 3, my best assumption based on the trajectory of this arc and the following one, we've got at least 3 to 4 chapters remaining.

Now, with that being said, I saw some people guessing who the identity of the cloaked figure is. I won't say who, but you guys will *never* guess it. If anyone does, though, then I'll be shocked.

Anyway, onto the chapter!

[Opening Song: SPECIALZ - By: King Gnu]

*The scene opens with a disembodied voice singing "You are my special" as drums and the sound of a turn table synthesizer follow it. As that happens, it shows Luz, no longer dressed in a hero costume but rather in a black trenchcoat with various decals, a white shirt, a purple skirt held up by a black belt with a golden buckle, a pair of spotted cat-themed stockings that reach just below her knees, a pair of black shoes, and a black fedora, standing atop a building, looking over the town of Gravesfield, Connecticut. The disembodied voice once again says, "You are my special." Luz narrows her now crimson-red eyes, glaring down at the town with anger and nostalgia.*

*The drums pick up in volume and are joined by an electric guitar, while at the same time, the title, "The Owl House - All For Luz," appears, with the Japanese Kanji "フクロウの家 -すべてはルスのために! " Underneath it, and in a smaller font. The large number 2 is still next to the title; however, instead of being the colour yellow, it is now a crimson red colour, as the final "You are my special" rings out.*

*As the opening begins in full, the scene cuts to Hunter sitting on a chair in a dark and empty room, a spotlight lampshading over him, his sword made of light plunged into the ground, his eyes narrowed, and his demeanour prepared for a battle, whilst dressed in his Golden Guard attire, minus the mask. The scene cuts to Millie Ravenclaw creating a small army of Abominations, and much like Hunter, her expression is one of determination, prepared for whatever battle was about to come as a disembodied voice sings*

"Come on, let's dance to the edge and tumble down again."

"The town stands tall, post up at the end."

*Mid verse, the scene shifts to Sophia coated in a massive amount of dark energy, like that of a blackened flame, her eyes filled with both bloodlust and anticipation, whilst Jonah slowly fades into existence behind her out of a purple cloud, looming over her, arms crossed, no longer wearing the gas mask with a large smirk on his face, as Charlie sits on his shoulders, arms resting on his head as the disembodied voice continues.*

"Let's struggle on to the edge of death 'til nothing is left."

"Dance wildly. The bold are those who claim their respect."

*The scene changes to Luz walking down the barren streets of an evacuated Gravesfield, the ends of her trenchcoat swaying back and forth in the wind, her hands in her coat pockets. As she walks down the road, red sparks dance over her body as she glares down a police blockade.*

*She outstretches her left hand, the red sparks leaping off her arm. A dark purple aura follows suit alongside the red sparks, mixed with golden sparks of energy and red. A smirk takes up her visage as a wave of yellow and black energy rushes forward, forcing a scene transition as the disembodied voice continues.*

"I love you, baby."

"Sing again 'till the morning comes…"

"No matter your sorry state…!"

"The childish games you play."

*As the scene transitions to something else, that being of a group of monsters with their brains exposed atop the roofs of buildings, one of which is on all fours like an animal, another is made of nothing but pure muscle, and another is more feminine appearing with a slender build with what appears to be vines coiling around their fingers. Each of them is on a separate building, and each of them are faced by Millie, Sophia, and Jonah, respectively.*

*Meanwhile, Luz is staring down Hunter as Luz takes off her fedora, revealing white hair rather than her usual brown hair. Not even a second later, the two charge at one another, Hunter with his sword drawn and ready to use and Luz with a manic gleam in her eyes and her right fist pulled back, ready to engage. All the while, as all of this is happening, the disembodied voice continues to sing*

"You burn through to my heart. Let me cherish you always!"

"Don't ever run 'cause you know too well, You Are My Special!"

*As the chorus begins to play alongside the action, the animal-like Nomu charges at Millie as she fires balls of flames toward it with increased fervour, eyes wide with panic behind them, as a group of abominations go to dogpile the beast. The muscle-bound Nomu engages in a fist clash with Sophia, shockwaves bounding out from their attacks meeting in the middle, each countering their attacks with another's attacks. Finally, the feminine-looking Nomu whips metal-infused vine whips toward Jonah, who keeps ducking and weaving as smoke. At the same time, the Nomu seemingly keeps predicting where Jonah seems to be appearing to avoid their attacks. All the while, the disembodied voice continues to sing.*

"Drive my heart in two, I feel it beating anew!"

"Put you under the spell, consume the future as well!"

"In that maze of you, we rendezvous…!"

"A daze that I never felt. You Are My Special!"

*The scene changes to Luz and Hunter exchanging attack after attack, blow after blow, dodging each other's punches, kicks, and beams of light and fire. Luz plants her hand on the floor as a wave of decay speeds toward Hunter, who turns into light and blips behind Luz, raising his weapon over his head to cut her in half, only for a barrier to be erected around her and for her to blast him with a wave of pure energy, knocking him back.*

*As Hunter lands, wings made of light sprout from his back, and his right arm becomes larger and larger until it matches the size and density of a massive cylinder. Luz does the same thing with flames; only her arm is covered by a million other tinier arms, and spikes appear out every little orifice of the arm as they can before the arm is bathed in a coil of flames.*

*The two charge at one another, both reeling their arms back and just before their fists collide, the scene zooms out to an overhead shot of the state of Connecticut; all the while, the Disembodied voice finishes the song as the beat fades out with a final guitar riff.*

"Dancing to your tune, the whole world spins out of hue!"

"No, no, no, don't relax, the demon's breaking its shell!"

"In that maze of you, we rendezvous!"

"No matter what they tell, You Are My Special!"

"We're Special!"

[Hero No More – Part 5]

[Twelve Hours until October 1st]

Pain. That was all they felt in that moment. Then again, who wouldn't, given their current situation. Thankfully, Vee knew how to play dead. That was how they escaped in the first place, and they'd do so again. That, and the stupid Emperor Coven Witch had previously fed them magic items, which had kicked in their regenerative factor.

All Basilisks had such feats. Well, only when they were full on magic, which that dumb witch had made sure of. Maybe that was the point, but whatever the facts were, Vee didn't quite care for how they ended up in the mess they had gotten into, all Vee cared about was the fact that they had gotten out of it.

Coughing up blood, Vee had to focus past the pain to get the wound in the back of their skull to heal. The fact that the lanky human had barely missed their brain was a Titan Send. Although, hanging from that meat hook for almost two days trying to get unhooked was not an experience they'd wish to endure again.

The hook had carved through their tongue, in through the roof of their mouth, and just barely avoided their brain stem and poked out the other end. When they removed the hook, blood had come pouring into their mouth and in their lungs. It took a whole hour of coughing to get the blood out, and to prevent themselves from drowning in their own life fluid.

Even after that hour, they were still recovering. It still hurt to breath, but at least they were alive. The wound would take days to heal, but all the same, they knew were they had taken Camila. They had taken her back to The Boiling Isles, courtesy of that smug bastard Hunter.

Vee had no idea what they were planning. But whatever it was, it wouldn't be good. Coughing again, blood splattering against the dirty wooden floor, Vee felt the world around them spin as they clasped their forehead. "Ow…." Vee thought, their mind spinning. This sucked. This sucked more than anything.

Their tail batted the metal hook to the floor, its clamoring making their head hurt even more than before. Loud noises… they always hated loud noises. They slithered out the front door, using the door frame to keep themselves upright. It took everything in their power to take their human form—beige and blue hair, golden eyes, tanned skin, a completely gender-neutral appearance.

They even manifested clothes, specifically a white shirt with an oversized collar that drooped over their shoulder, and a pair of black shorts that reached down past their knees. They did that since that tall human tore all of theirs off.

That had made them feel disgusting. That human had no regard for their modesty. They were lucky they had specifically made their appearance one of complete neutrality. Otherwise, the tall human might've done something. Perks of being able to manipulate one's body in totality, they supposed.

They felt the hole in the back of their head finally patch up, but it did nothing to ease the pain. Their regenerative capabilities hinged entirely on how much magic they had consumed. If they kept the transformation up for twenty-four hours a day, for three months, they'd run out of magic. That was assuming they didn't do any more shifting, though.

Knowing their luck, though, that probably wouldn't be the case.

Stumbling out of the house, they walked down the sidewalk, shifting the appearance of their face and hairstyle. There were wanted posters with their old face plastered all over it. The eye shape changed from round to slanted, and the colour from yellow to blue. Their hair swapped colour, with blue being on top then beige on the bottom.

They made their chin sharper than round, and they forced themselves to look a little more bulky than normal. It wasn't much, but it was enough to where they wouldn't be caught. Hunter had taken the vial of Titans Blood that they had on them. That was the hardest thing that they had stolen, considering that they took it from The General.

The General…. He was probably going to be involved in this somehow. Rumours have it that The General was one of the Interlopers first experiments once they got to the isles. Apparently, The General was given a Unique Ability, but no one knew what it was. That, and somehow, The General was still able to use Magic.

Those that had a Unique Ability—Meta Ability, as the history books told them—couldn't use Magic. Yet The General could. Speaking of The General, if he was involved with this whole thing, that would be confusing to Vee. Hunter and The General hated one another. The General, despite working for The Emperor directly had more compassion for living things then Hunter ever did.

But, if there was one thing that both of them hated more, it was The Interloper. It was more apparent than ever that Luz was, in some way, related to The Interloper. Red eyes—though notably only when reaching an emotional threshold—white hair, holes in her palms… That sounded like The Interloper. But, the problem was that The Interloper was a human male, with pale skin, and was somewhere in his 50s by the time he came to the isles.

That wasn't Luz, so then… who was Luz? Was she his daughter? That was possible. Before the war began, according to that waste of air Emperor had said that he had things to tend to. That, and Luz never liked talking about her father. But, if that was the case, then why did she only *just* gain her power?

From what Vee knew about Meta Abilities, the latest they show up is when someone turns four. But, according to Luz, everyone in her world only gained Meta Abilities two to three months ago. Documents from the government suggest that it had been happening periodically over the course of ten years, though. But even then, that didn't change the fact that, should Luz be related to The Interloper, it was strange that her power only awakened when everyone else's did.

Time wise, though, it made sense. The war was, according to Belos, over ten years ago. If their math was right, the war ended 16 years ago. That would be enough time to have a child that was Luz's age. But, the problem was that it had only been recently that Luz had started to look anything like The Interloper. Genetics didn't work like that.

How did Vee know this? Well, they did study to at least have a high school level education. It was hell, but it was worth it. In any case, that didn't change the fact that Luz was more than likely not related to The Interloper. She might have resembled him, but that didn't make her The Interloper, nor did that mean she was related to The Interloper.

To The General, though, that didn't matter. He suffered at the hands of The Interloper. Was turned into an abomination both feared and shunned by the population of The Boiling Isles. Vee knew that because, despite the circumstances, The General both knew of the Basilisks, and befriended Vee. It was a shame that he never attempted to free them, though.

The General was still a staunch man of the rules. Of course, he fed them more than Belos did. There wasn't anything that Belos could do to stop him, though. He was yet another figure in The Emperor Coven who was stronger than Belos. The only reason Belos was still the Emperor was because, in terms of magic, he was the strongest there was.

Vee knew that his "magic" wasn't magic, though. It was technology. Very powerful technology, but still technology. But not just any technology. Human technology. Technology from The Human Realm. At least, Vee thought so, anyway. They didn't think it was, given how powerful the tech was. Compared to The Human Realm, that kind of tech was easily 20 years ahead of its time compared to the current point in time of The Human Realm.

Either The Interloper was a genius, or he was from the future. Because back then, 34 years ago, The Human Realm was at the same year The Demon Realm was. According to The General, that was in 1986. The current year was 2020, making the staff and "magic" that Belos used impossible to have.

Unless, The Interloper was from the future.

"Or, the other possibility, that being there are multiple human realms…" Vee thought, and as they did, they began to feel a headache throbbing in the back of their head. Groaning, Vee looked around and felt the cold chill of the night wash over them. They needed to find Luz. They needed to tell her what happened.

Vee knew Luz wouldn't come looking for them. Not out being heartless, but because they were still in hiding. Luz didn't want to be found—no one in hiding necessarily did. But Vee knew where she was, so they were going to find her.

Though, as Vee walked around Gravesfield, Vee began to notice something. The town was… empty. It felt almost… deserted. Like it was abandoned. "But why?" Vee thought, keeping their eyes open and scanning the area around them. They found it suspicious, but they didn't know why.

As they walked the barren streets, the only thing they had on their mind was to find the forest where Luz used to live. It was on the outskirts of the town, westward of the school. They didn't have a compass, so it was going to be difficult to tell where east or west had been. When they made it to the school, they went both right and then left. Right turned out to be east, so then they went left.

Each passing minute walking around Gravesfield made it feel like they were being watched. They kept checking over their shoulder, but each time they wouldn't catch whoever it was that was stalking them. But they knew they were being followed. Or, at least, they thought so anyway. With each step, they felt their paranoia grow and grow, until they finally reached the old house where Luz used to live.

Needless to say… it didn't look pretty. There was Graffitti staining the walls, the garden trampled, windows broken…. It truly looked like a hell hole. The words weren't pretty, either. They were insults, mostly racist remarks and… other disgusting ones that Vee really wish they hadn't read. Either way, it hardly mattered.

They walked into the forest, making sure to move fast so that they got to their destination before whoever was following them could catch up. At first, it started as a fast-paced walk, then it transitioned into a light jog, before turning into a full on sprint. It didn't take long for them to reach the cabin, which, lo-and-behold, Luz was standing just outside of it, her arms crossed leaning next to the door.

Her eyes widened upon seeing them, standing up straight as Vee skidded to a halt, before spinning around and facing back from where they came, only to find nothing. Confusion quickly lit up their expression, her mind racing with thought after thought, only for them to be broken by Luz as she spoke.

"Vee? Where the hell have you been?" Luz asked, confusion in her voice as Vee turned to look at Luz. They were taken aback by Luz's eyes being red. That meant she was angry.

"Oh no…"

"Look, I can explain, I—" Vee began, panic in their voice as Luz put her hands up in a calming gesture, though her eyes never changed back to brown.

"Whoa, Vee, calm down. I'm not mad!" Luz said, confusing Vee once again.

"B-But… your eyes are red! That usually means you're mad, right?" Vee questioned as Luz raised an eyebrow. Now it was her turn to be confused, judging by how her expression twisted and her head tilted.

"What are you going on about? My eyes aren't—" She stopped herself mid sentence, before pulling out her phone, opening the camera app, and switching it to the front facing camera. Her expression changed from confused to shocked, dropping the phone to the dirt covered ground below. Before it landed on a rock, Vee caught it, making sure it didn't break. "What the…."

Luz shook her head, clearly not phased enough by it for it to be an issue worth addressing. Either that, or she didn't care. Honestly, Vee didn't know which one was more depressing. "Whatever. Look, just… tell me where you've been. I was starting to get worried."

"Worried?" Vee muttered, as Luz scoffed.

"Well, duh. Why wouldn't I be? I care, ya know? If it wasn't for the fact that I'm on the run, I'd be by Emelia's side trying to find a way to heal her. I wish I knew what her condition was… Chances are though the Government killed her because she was linked with me…." Luz said, barely contained annoyance and anger festering in her tone.

Vee slowly placed a hand on her shoulder, which Luz didn't seem to object to. After a few moments of silence, Vee finally spoke. "Well, um… anyway. I was… sort of captured by one of Hunter's people and…. Tortured for information."

"What!?" Luz blurted out, causing Vee to stumble backward.

"Y-Yeah, I—"

"Are you okay?! What did they do!? They didn't touch you, did they?! I—"

"Luz, calm down!" Vee shouted, which finally got her to relax, but only a little bit. It was weird. Vee had never seen her act this defensive. Well, that wasn't true. When Julia or Emelia ever got hurt, she'd feel guilty, and she'd launch into a spiral over it. One time, Julia broke her arm during a mission, and it took a week for Luz to stop being depressed over it. "I'm okay… I'm fine. Well… mostly. One of them rammed a meat hook through my mouth and out the back of my head but—"

"What?!" This time, pure rage coated Luz's voice as her eyes glowed red, sparks of red lightning flashing over her body, and it took everything in Vee's power not to flinch. Luz noticed, and let out a shaky breath. "I'm sorry… I—how are you alive?! That kills people, Vee!"

"I, um… I'm not exactly, well… "people" per say…." Vee muttered as Luz raised an eyebrow.

"Whaddya mean?" Luz asked, skepticism in her voice. Vee felt a chill down their spine, but not out of fear—well, no it was fear, just not of Luz. Well, no, they feared Luz because of how powerful she was, but that wasn't they meant. Vee was afraid of… afraid of being hated.

All of their life, they were hated. Hated by everything and everyone. The General didn't hate them, though. But it wasn't as if The General liked them. Tolerated, maybe. But not like. Then again, The General was distrusting of everyone. Including The Emperor Coven Head's.

Yes, plural, because it was a joint position. Mostly because one had to make up for the other. But that was neither here nor there. It was also funny, because the two who led it were sisters, and one of them hated The Emperor with a passion, while the other was an ideolog of him. The General often mentioned it when they talked, and he found it downright hilarious.

"Um… well… what if I told you that… I wasn't human?" Vee said, as a long, drawn out silence bridged out between the two. It felt like it would go on forever and ever. Vee began to panic, their heart beginning to race. This was it, Luz was going to shun them, and call them a waste of time, or even kill them. They knew this was gonna happen, oh, why did they open their big mouth? Why? Why? Why? Wh—

"Well, duh. I knew that, dummy. I knew that the moment I saw you," Luz said, and Vee's world shattered. Their eyes widened, and it felt as if everything that Vee knew was turned upside down, and then put on its side.

"Y-you… You knew?"

"Yup."

"This whole time?"

"Uh huh."

"A-And you… A-and you didn't care?" Vee was on the verge of tears, and it seemed to confuse Luz. But why? If anything, Vee should be the one that's confused. Confused, happy, sad, nervous—everything all at once.

"Vee… Why would I care what you are? I mean, was I upset that you lied to me? Yeah, kinda. But… I'd be a massive hypocrite if I said that I hated you because you were different," Luz said, placing a hand on their shoulder. "I mean, look at me? I'm as different as they come. Also kind of a terrorist…. And murderer…. And maybe an irredeemable monster, but that's beside the point."

"I wouldn't say you're irredeemable," Vee said, brushing Luz's hand off their shoulder. "I mean, you've done awful, terrible things. Things that, under any normal circumstances, I'd probably chew into you for. I—"

"If you have feelings about something I did, you shouldn't hide them, Vee," Luz interrupted, as Vee blinked.

"You… want me to say what's on my mind?" Vee asked as Luz nodded.

"Yeah. I do. Unlike some people I know, I respect your opinion," Luz said, and Vee couldn't help but think that the "some people" she was referring to referenced Camila. That… didn't imply good things, but they knew that Luz and Camila's relationship was in shambles. It had been the moment Luz had to go on the run, and take the two of them with her.

Vee sighed, collecting their thoughts as they stared at Luz. What to say? They had so much to say and so little time to say it. October 1st was only twelve hours away, and they had so much planning to do. Maybe less than that, given how it took them a few hours to get to the cabin in the woods. By the Titan, they were screwed.

"It doesn't matter what you think. My opinion doesn't matter. It never matters. It hasn't mattered, not even when I was born. I'm just a husk. A slave. Nothing more, and sometimes less…" Vee thought, their shoulders tensing. "I'm sorry…. But I can't…."

"Why?"

"Because my opinion doesn't matter…" Vee muttered, and was promptly slapped. Vee staggered, before looking up at Luz with wide eyes. They rubbed their left cheek, a stinging sensation reverberating through their body. "You… you slapped me?"

"Because what you said was downright idiotic," Luz said, crossing her arms. "Who told you that?"

"Wha—"

"Who told you that your opinion didn't matter?" Luz asked again, only this time it was a little more forceful. Vee was more than a little embarrassed, their cheeks turning a light shade of pink as they shrunk into themselves. This wasn't important. They needed to tell Luz that Camila was in danger! That there was a good chance that she could die!

"Look, it's not important. Besides, they aren't here anyway," Vee dismissed as Luz frowned. She tried to say something, but Vee interrupted. "Look, Camila's in danger! She needs help! Hunter took her!"

At the mention of Hunter, Luz's eyes narrowed. "Hunter?"

"Yes, Hunter! But, more importantly, you're mo—"

"She's not my mother," Luz spat, scowling. "She birthed me, and that's it."

Vee groaned, they did not have the time to wade through familial drama right now. "Whatever, semantics, I don't care to know your reason because I saw this happening from a mile away. My point is that Hunter has her, and is probably going to torture her. I don't care what your stance on her is, no one deserves that."

Luz faltered for a second, probably not expecting Vee to have the stance that they had. "Yeah. I suppose…."

"You suppose?" Vee balked, but shook their head. "Whatever. Just, whatever. Look. If anything, it'll be a chance to get back at Hunter for hurting Emelia and nearly killing her. He said something about October 1st, and that something big was going to happen. Even if you don't like Camila, even if you believe your country betrayed you, or whatever it is that's running through your head, I know how much you care about Emelia. That… and… They killed Riley, from what I overhead."

Luz's eyes widened. Pure, raw anger danced about in those eyes. Vee swallowed back the fear building up in their chest, and Luz spat out words through venom and pure vitriol.

"Who. Who killed her."

"I-I dunno. B-But apparently, i-it was her ex's idea. S-Something about betraying The Emperor…. Um, the Emperor of my home…. It's called The Boiling Isles…" As soon as Vee said that, the anger on Luz's face washed away, replaced by shock and… recognition? Did…. Did Luz know about The Boiling Isles? If so, for how long? That was a scary thought. Not because Luz they feared Luz would do something awful, but because Luz so closely resembled The Interloper. There was a good chance that someone might mistake her for him, and attempt to do something.

Vee knew the hatred The Boiling Isles held for The Interloper. It was unlike anything ever seen before. No more had The Boiling Isles hated a single individual than The Interloper. While the populous of The Boiling Isles didn't look at humans with a good light before The Interloper, nowadays, everyone there, minus that cult that showed up called The Underdark, looked at human's as a threat to Witch and Demonkind.

Vee didn't particularly care all that much about the politics of the above ground. Vee had only learned of it from The General relaying things from beyond the castle's basement, which had been where all of their brothers and sisters were being kept. A part of Vee wondered if they were still alive, or if The Emperor had them all killed.

"Yo, Earth to Vee, you good?" Luz said, snapping them out of their thoughts as Vee cleared their throat.

"Oh, y-yeah. I-I just…. Your reaction to where I'm from. The Boiling Isles. Do… Do you know about it?" Vee asked as Luz brushed a hand through her hair.

"Uh, kinda? I… have dreams. Dreams about that place. I… I think it's from the previous wielder of my power. I say that because… in those dreams, they're kinda more like memories. I saw… a lot of things. But I don't know the context. Regardless, I know of it. That's all that matters. You're saying Hunter took Camila there?" Luz said, and Vee couldn't help but notice that she called Camila by her name.

"That's… probably not good…." Vee thought, before nodding. "Yeah."

Luz sighed, seemingly annoyed. "Great. Oh well, I've been meaning to kick that smug piece of shit's ass. That, and it gives me an excuse to go all out." As Luz said that, Vee blinked, confusion taking up their visage.

"What… do you mean? You haven't been going all out?" Vee asked as Luz scoffed.

"Well, duh! Vee, I want you to be honest with me. What do you think would happen if I took all of my battles seriously. If I went all out for every single fight I had gotten in. You want to know how much of America would be left standing?" Luz said, as Vee tried to imagine the scenario. Their imagination didn't picture pretty things.

Lots of destroyed cities, many displaced families, and a lot of dead people. "Probably not a lot of it."

"Correct," Luz affirmed, putting her hands in her trench coat pockets. "But, considering these people deserve it and then some, I say screw the rules. I'm gonna go all out. I'm gonna show them what happens when you piss off an already angry Goddess."

Luz walked past Vee, and as she did, Vee couldn't help but feel a chill crawl down their spine as she spoke with so much venom, anger, and also anticipation—which was something that Vee had not expected, but nonetheless found insanely bizarre. And as she spoke, a helicopter began to descend in front of Luz, who turned around to face Vee.

"Tomorrow, Vee, I promise to show the world what happens when they fail. Tomorrow, I shall forever leave a scar, never to heal! A reminder to everyone, for generations to come! Even if I should depart from this world, that everyone shall remember my name! I will go down in history as a specter that could return at any point!"

Within the Helicopter, Vee saw what could only be described as monsters. Charcoal black skin, exposed brains, fangs, and they stunk of death. One looked like a dog, the other looked like an insanely muscular human male, and the other looked to be a lean human female. Luz thrust her arms out wide, as if showing off the monsters, much to Vee's horror.

And then, with a smile that oozed hatred, Luz capped off her speech by walking backward into the helicopter, grabbing onto the side railing, and said the one thing that Vee had been worried about. "Tomorrow, shall be a massacre!"

And as the helicopter flew away, Vee could hear Luz cackling mad.

In that moment, Vee thought about what they could've done to have potentially stopped Luz. But, realistically, they knew there was nothing.

And the future would reflect Luz's words.

For on October 1st, 2020, not but even four months before the previous world changing event, another was to come. But this one was different. This was unlike anything they had ever seen before.

This event, would go down in history for a completely different reason.

It went down in history, because it spelt the complete, and total eradication, of the state of Connecticut in it's entirety.

On Thursday, October 1st, 2020, at 12:30pm, The Annihilation happened.

And America was never the same again.

[-To Be Continued in: October 1st, 2020 – Part 1]

[Ending Song: YELLOW – By: Yoh kamiyami]

*The ending begins with Luz dressed in her hero costume, floating in the darkness of the void, eyes closed as she drifts about in the emptiness of nothingness, only to be grabbed by blackened tendrils formed out of the void and pulled down in the abyss. On the other side of the void, she's thrown to the ground, her hair white and her eyes open and blazing red. As she stands up, strings are attached to her shoulders, and she begins to move on her own toward the edge of what is revealed to be building; all the while, a disembodied voice sings in the background.*

"Simply put, all purity was hung away on that day, see."

"My curiosity had gotten the best of me."

"Was sweeter than a cake, but it wasn't filling."

"Like dancing with a puppet, so cold and empty."

*It continues as Luz falls down what seems to be an endless amount of distance toward the ground, her strings still attached to her body as she frantically starts to pull them off. Each string represents figures in her life, staring with her past principal, then the judge who sentenced her to that camp, Adrian Rogers, and finally her mother*

*Once the final string is pulled, flaming wings spread from her back just before she lands on the ground below, breaking her fall. As her flaming wings come out, her hero outfit burns away and is replaced by the black trenchcoat adorned with several patches and a bi-sexual flag pin, a pink shirt, a purple skirt with a fluffy white hem at the bottom, held up by a black belt with a golden buckle, and a pair of black ankle boots. When she lands on her feet, she dusts herself off, turning to face the street before her as the voice continues to sing.*

"Closet doors shut behind us."

"Huddling, our bodies hidden in the darkness."

"We'll sleep the night off and change when light comes."

"Or so I like to say."

*Across the street is Luz before she changed into what she is now, smiling and hanging out with her mother. Luz turns away, ignoring their presence, but when she turns, she sees another scene of her and her mother playing at the playground, having fun. Luz scowls before turning around and running down the street, trying to ignore her past and everything tied to it.*

*But as she runs down the street, she comes across the car crash that she was in when she was a child; as the younger her crawls out from the wreckage, staring at the crushed body of her father, bloodied, mangled, and broken. As all of this is happening, the voice keeps singing.*

"I'm just a child; I can't help it!"

"Don't go please, oh please, I'm begging."

"I'm so pathetic, a life built on selfish cries."

*Mid-verse, Luz turns to look away, only for her to be surrounded by a literal horde of small versions of her, all pointing at her as she looks up to see her father staring down at her, disappointment on his face as she begins to fall down a hole that opens up in the floor beneath her. She reaches up toward the hole before it's covered, and she's locked away in darkness, falling down once again, tears in her eyes as she keeps falling deeper and deeper as the voice continues.*

"All the toys were put away."

"I swear I'll change this time!"

"Still, I crawl for when I wore innocence like before."

"(Ah, ah, ah, ah!)"

*As the beat drops, the darkness around her turns to a bright yellow mixed with rainbow spirals. She falls past stuffed toys, trains, and books of various types, along with photos of her childhood and photos of her and Julia. She finally lands on the ground, surrounded by her childhood, showing her all the positive things she remembers being around.*

*However, when she narrows her eyes, they all go up in flames, replaced with her recent memories. Tragedy, loss, and death and suddenly, she's no longer tense. Instead, she's relaxed as the surrounding walls return to a drab black mixed with gray. A statement that she's more comfortable with this kind of stuff than all of the happy go-lucky things she used to be surrounded by. While all of this happened, the disembodied voice continued to sing.*

"Love's a high, sober up, you'll throw it all away."

"I've laid to waste all those feelings just to stay safe."

"But see this low-life now, still stuck in her ways."

"I wonder if there's a summer where I'll really change?"

*The ending begins to end as Luz walks down a hallway filled with memories of the recent past, of all the death and destruction both caused and not caused by her. The deeper she walks, the more of a smile takes up her visage as she finally reaches a door. When she opens it, she steps out onto a grassy field, except this grass is orange, and the skies are yellow with purple clouds. She's finally made it to The Boiling Isles; all the voice in the background keeps saying "Yellow" before eventually the beat fades out as the ending concludes.*

Whelp, this is probably the second shortest chapter I've written for All For Luz, but! This is just the bridge between this arc and The Final Arc for Season 2. I honestly cannot wait because this last arc is going to be intense. The stakes are also a lot higher than the original, and that has to do with our mysterious cloaked figure.

I will actually be shocked if anyone guesses who that is, and bonus points if you guys can cause what they can do. I'll give you a hint as to what their main ability is, and it's rather strange, but smart people might get it.

Okay, here's the hint: What happens when you take an animal outside of its natural habitat, and force it to live there. What does that animal do to survive?

Alright, that's all from me for now. I might take a week break to pace myself, but rest assured, Season 2 will finish before 2025. I made a promise, and I'm going to stick to it. See ya next time. Peace out!
