"For these last 2 years now, this girl has been mostly helping with natural disasters all over the world. Last month she saved and entire Island in Okinawa from a devastating Tsunami. And yet, government officials are still trying to keep her from crossing into other countries to help. I say let her help because-"

The tv changed to a baseball game of the Saints vs the Steelers.
The tv was in a local bar owned by a tall bald headed dark skinned man. This man's name was Luke cage.
"I'm telling you Luke, if that girl was white they wouldn't be saying shit." Darol, a frequent visitor of the bar said to Luke, who was pouring drinks for other customers around the bar.
Luke chuckled a bit at that, "I don't know about that one Darol. I'm pretty sure if she was white, people still would complain." Luke told him as he finished pouring the drinks for people.
"Nah I don't think so. The White folks just don't want us to have our own black superhero, especially since she kicked that rich white boy's ass." Some of the other patrons chuckled at that.
"But isn't War machine black?" Another patron said,
Darol scoffed at that, "Man, that dude ain't from New York. He out there in LA with that Stark dude and he wit the military. So he don't count." Darol said, Luke just chuckled at that and shook his head.
For the past 2 years, New York as a whole had changed and so did the world, and if anyone were to ask Luke he would say it was a needed change.
The girl's presence in Harlem changed a lot of things, especially with the gangs. Luke kept up with the news about the girl mostly due to her being Harlem's Hero.
"Hey Luke, refill." One of the patrons at bar asked.
"I gotcha." Luke said, as he got back to work.
At the end of the bar, a tall beautiful blonde sat watching another TV as it showed Power Girl holding a plane and slowly landing it.
The woman had a small smile on her face as she watched the girl making sure the passengers were alright before flying away before any of the reporters got to her.
Her watch on her wrist pinged, looking around to make sure no one was looking she answered, the image showing looking in his Asgardian garb.
"Are you ready." Loki had asked her.
Kara put a 20 bill on the bar and got up and left the bar, "I am."
Loki looked curious, "I still don't understand why we can't just let the Archer raid the facility for what we need."
Kara was already in the upper atmosphere with her suit to cloak her from any type of surveillance, "This SHIELD, from what agent Barton has told me would probably be looking for ways to harm my daughter. I'm going to this facility to get instant access to their systems rather than just using the internet which would take longer to search for any of the files and also get the Iridium."She told him.
He didn't question her any further as she closed the call.
Kara floated in place as she thought about Lara. Her Daughter still chose to save these people, still chose to be a hero.
She looked towards the mid afternoon sun, "Lena would be so proud of you, my Star."
Steve stepped out of the Quinnjet and was surprised to see Fury Standing next to a beautiful redhead and Maria Hill that he met before when he first woke up.
Another man exited from a helicopter off to the right. He remembered the scientist Bruce Banner who was researching the Super Soldier Serum using radiation.
"Gentleman, I know you may have questions but I would like to introduce you to another member of the team before I give you all a full debrief." Fury said to him and Banner as he walked over to the group.
Steve was about to ask when he heard something, looking over he saw to figures coming towards the Aircraft carrier.
As they got closer he saw that it was Stark in his armor and another one in a bulkier silver and black armor that Steve guessed was Colonel Rhodes.
Tony and Rhodey landed by the group. "Alright Fury what's this about." Tony said, his and Rhodey's face plates lifting up.
Fury looked at everyone who was gathered around, "Follow me." Was all he said as he walked towards the entrance of the Helicarrier.
Steve and the others were seated around a conference table in the Helicarrier. Steve was surprised that the Carrier could fly and become camouflaged, he paid Fury 10 from the bet he made.
Tony was impressed with camouflaged that shield managed to create, he hadn't really bothered with a suit based on camouflaged because of the his new suits he was working on. Lara also helped him with a suit that was meant to fight against her in case she ever turned bad. He didn't understand why at first until she explained that she was weak to mind control that involves telepathy.
Lara was extremely smart, almost as smart as him. She explained that her people were naturally born extremely intelligent and that her family was part of the science guild and so was her mother before her planet's destruction. He was skeptical when Lara told him she was from another planet let alone not from this dimension, made him think she was crazy. But when he scanned her jacket he found that the material didn't exist or was possible to make made it somewhat believable, well atleast the alien thing.
"Alright Fury, as nice as it is to see our tax money go towards your literal aircraft carrier is-" Tony said, his voice dripping with sarcasm, " Why are we here? We already know about this supposed god of mischief and the Tesseract, what else is there."
Instead of answer, Fury brought up a video in the middle of table. The video showed a woman destroying the base in Nevada, what made everyone pause were the familiar powers displayed that were linked towards a certain girl and the familiar symbol.
"This woman has already destroyed 5 bases in the past 2 days, 2 of which had prototype weapons and sentinels meant to take down Omega level threats. We believe that this woman has a connection to miss Zor El."
The video switched towards a facility and the ground being lefted with the facility on top of it then being dropped towards the ground, causing the camera to shake form the impact. The video cutoff then showed a picture of the woman, cape and her blonde hair with the S symbol on full display.
"As you can see, this woman just ripped thousands of tons of rock and metal with ease than dropped it. Now we have certain people terrified that Miss Zor El isn't the only one here now and are afraid and preparing for an invasion. The Pentagon are considering sending a nuke to try and take this woman out and sending out an army of Sentinels to capture Miss Zor El." Fury had told them, then he turned towards Tony and Natasha.
"You 2 are the closest to her. Has she ever talked about her family or at least their capabilities?" Nick asked but Natasha knew that it was a order for to lay down any information. Natasha knew Lara trusted her and she would only tell them what they needed to about her abilities but not anything personal or her weaknesses.
Natasha looked at the image of the woman. There's only one woman who fit this description.
Natasha took a deep breath, "I think the woman in the video is Lara's mother, Kara Zor EL."
Everyone looked at here with wide eyes and looked back at the image.
Rhodey spoke up, "Wait, your saying that this woman, who casually just uproots buildings like plants in a pot is the Mother of the girl who kicked me and Tony's ass without trying and beat Blonskiey." Rhodey said, in voice filled with incredulity.
Natasha nodded and continued speaking, "From what Lara told me, her mother on Krypton was apart of the Science guild and was considered a genius in her age group and was trained to fight as well."
"Did she tell you how strong her mother is, we need to know who were really dealing with." Fury said to her.
Natasha actually looked apprehensive before she told them, "We can't." Natasha stated and everyone looked at her with surprise in their eyes.
"What do you mean we can't." This time it was Steve who spoke up.
"That's exactly what I mean, we can't fight her. Lara told me that her mother and uncle back in her home world always held back 95 percent of the time. And even while holding back, they can easily destroy a city. Her mom at the age of 17 could easily crack earth in half and Lara told me that her mother could fly multiple times the speed of light." Natasha told the others and their faces becoming more grim as she spoke.
Natasha looked towards Fury, "If we're going to have a chance we need to call Lara and anyone who is strong enough to stop her."
Fury looked at her for a moment before coming to a decision. "Colson, get in contact with Xavier. Ask him if he could help us. His team might be able to help us with this." He then turned back to Natasha, "Call her."
The Docks near Hell'sKitchen.
The sounds of gunfire could be heard as a group of armed men with rockets firing up in the sky as a red and black blur slammed into the ground in the middle of the men.
When she stood up, it was Lara or as the world come to know her as Power Girl. She stood straight as bullets slammed into her and either bounced off or broke entirely. She still wore her black jacket with the EL symbol in red on the back. Underneath she wore a black bodysuit with with red accents and the red House of EL symbol in the middle of her chest. She wore red boots that covered her calves and black fingerless gloves.
In the past 2 years she's been acting as this world's hero, trying to do her best to help people. Although she wasn't up to her mother's or uncle levels yet but she was getting stronger.
Lara looked at the group of men as time slowed to a crawl, to her she just walked towards each of the men and broke their weapons.
To them, she didn't even move.
"Alright, usually this is where one of you idiots try to fight or run away. So, just to let you know I'm much much faster and stronger than you. Don't run and pls don't fight because I'll just feel like I'm bullying kids so just make this easier for yourselves." Lara said to them.
They all looked at each other actually contemplating on surrendering.
"YOU MORONS BETTER NOT FUCKING SURRENDER!!" A new voice yelled to the group of men making them freeze.
A giant muscular man walked out from the back and began walking towards Lara. His massive frame towering over Lara, standing at 8 feet in height.
"You think you can come in here and try to inter-"

"Hold up." Lara said to the tall man, holding up a finger to interrupt him and she answered her phone.
"Hello"
"Lara, it's Nat. Knowing you I'm assuming you're doing something right now."
Lara looked at the giant that she assumed was a mutant, "Nahh, I'm just finishing up here." Lara said easily dismissing the mutant.
"YOU LITTLE BITCH!!" The mutant pull back his arm and threw a punch.
Lara caught the fist, a small visible shockwave occurred as Lara casually twisted his arm,spun and slammed him on his back cracking the ground.
Seeing their leader get beaten so easily, the rest of them put the their hands behind their heads and got on their knees.
"Who was that?" Lara could hear the amusement in Nat's voice.
"Nobody important. Now, what's up."
Natasha was quite for bit before she answered, "I think you should come here before I tell you anything." Natasha said, her voice sounding grim.
Lara stood straighter, her voice was serious, "Where are you."
"I'm in a flying Aircraft Carrier and we're hovering just outside of New York City." Nat told her.
Lara looked up and scanned the sky's around New York and found the aircraft carrier using her X-ray vision. "I see you. Once I finish up here I'll be there shortly."
"Okay. Once you get here I'll explain everything."
"Alright, see you soon Nat."
After that Lara Hung up. She wondered what's got Natasha so spooked.
Turning to group of thugs, "Alright losers let's hurry this up I got somewhere to be.
