TWs: Crying, referenced Moon Revolution, rude behavior, injury, slight panic. Stay safe :)

Luna blinked, tears falling freely from his eyes as he looked at the scene before him. Slowly, he glanced back and forth, "Titan...?"

The Celestite in question turned to look at Luna, eyes widening, "Luna? You're also here?"

Luna nodded, wiping his eyes, "Everyone else as well."

Titan held onto the nearest tree, trying to keep his feet steady, "Weird... do you have any idea where we are?"

"Uh, this might sound crazy... but we somehow ended up on the Earth's surface," Luna responded, his gaze wandering to the other Celestites scattered around the small clearing.

Titan processed the information, eyebrows furrowing slightly, "You're joking."

Luna shook his head, "I wish I was, Titan, but it's the truth. I know Earth's surface, and there's no mistaking it."

"And Earth... he's also here? On his surface?"

"Yep."

"...How does that work?"

"I wish I knew..." Luna sniffled, averting his gaze.

"Did something happen? Your eyes are puffy." Titan asked.

"It's- It's nothing... just- it's just Earth..." Luna trailed off, "He lost his memory."

"Oh... I'm sorry to hear that. Does he... not remember you?"

"I'm a stranger to him!" Luna frowned, "He remembers he has life and that he has a moon, but he doesn't remember me...!"

Titan was quiet, contemplating a way to cheer the other one up.

"I'm afraid he's like his old self again..." Luna muttered.

"Hm?"

"Selfish, arrogant, and thinks he's the only one who's special."

"Ah..." Titan winced, an apprehensive wave crashing into him like a bullet, "That isn't good..."

"Tell me about it..." Luna crossed his arms, hugging himself tightly.

"Hey," Titan placed a hand on the smaller one's shoulder and gave him a reassuring smile. "Don't worry; we'll figure something out."

Luna returned the smile with a small one of his own. He nodded, "Right... thank you, Titan."

"Of course! I'm happy to help a fellow member of the Moon Club!" Titan elbowed the other in the arm, eliciting a light chuckle from him, "Anyway, we better tell the other moons what's going on before they start freaking out."

"Yeah, good idea."

Titan straightened up, nearly losing his footing as he walked across the uneven terrain, "Uh, is this really what Earth's gravity is like...? It's so awkward..."

"You get used to it." Luna shrugged, passing Titan as he practically skipped.

"Speak for yourself- you're a natural."

Luna grinned, turning to look at Titan as he started walking backward, "That's because I've been watching over the Earthlings for hundreds of thousands of years. I know how they walk, talk, and interact with each other. Oh! I can show you a demonstration of Earthling culture when we get out of- WAH!"

Luna tripped over a pair of legs, falling over onto his back and onto the person he stumbled over.

"Ugh- ow..."

The silver-haired Celestite met the annoyed glare of Ganymede.

"Watch where you're going, runt." Ganymede huffed, lightly pushing the other off of him.

"Right! Heheh, sorry, Ganymede..." Luna rubbed the back of his neck, smiling anxiously.

"Be nice, Ganymede..." Titan uttered, helping Luna up by grabbing his hands and pulling.

"For your information, I am nice." Ganymede spoke, "I just don't like being woken up, or interrupted."

"Well, it's a good thing you did. I mean, have you noticed we're in a completely different place?"

"We're what-?" Ganymede glanced around, eyes widening, "Wha- Where are we?"

Luna opted to speak first, "We're gonna explain once everyone wakes up. In the meantime, can you-"

"Europa!?" Ignoring Luna, Ganymede wobbled to his feet, tripping a couple of times as he sped-walked to his unconscious girlfriend. He got down on his knees, pressing his hands on Europa's shoulders, lightly shaking her, "Europa, babe... you've gotta wake up now."

Luna and Titan glanced at each other, sharing the same expression of sympathy.

"Please..." Ganymede whispered.

"...Mmh." Europa groaned, her body writhing around before she slowly opened her eyes, foggy and confused pastel peach eyes looking up into hazel wood ones, "Gany...?"

Ganymede sighed a breath of relief, smiling down at her, "Yeah, it's me..."

Europa sat up, holding her head and wincing, "What happened...? Where are we?"

"I, uh, don't know exactly..." Ganymede shrugged, turning to look at Luna and Titan, "What were you about to say, Luna?"

Luna counted on his fingers, "Well, we should wake everyone up, ensure everyone is here and not hurt, and tell everyone we're on the Earth's surface."

"We're... what!?" The duo exclaimed.

"You have got to be kidding me," Ganymede spoke.

"I would never joke at a time like this!" Luna frowned, placing his hands on his hips.

Europa readjusted herself from where she sat, noticing a green stain on her white shorts. She squeaked, "My clothes! This- uh- this stupid Earth!"

"Hey! Don't blame Earth, he has no control over his life!" Luna snapped, "That right there is called grass- it covers most of the Earth's surface... next to oceans, of course. It's good that it hasn't rained recently or that stain would be much worse."

Europa blinked, averting her shame-filled eyes, "Right... sorry."

Ganymede and Europa were making efforts to improve, but the process was slow because they preferred to escape their issues rather than confront them. They only communicated with Earth when they needed something, like asking for a bouquet of flowers or borrowing his card deck. Earth happily complied, helping with these small requests.

"Why don't you ever say no?" Luna had asked one day, "Using your powers wears you out, they should know that."

Earth panted, running a hand across his forehead, "Hah... it's silly, really... I would just rather be on their good side. They can be as intimidating as Jupiter, y'know?"

In all honesty, the Earth was too afraid to say no to them given that they had tried to destroy him with an entire moon army. After that, Earth swiftly changed the topic, choosing to talk about his so-called 'epic victory' during his card game with Mars.

Luna sighed, peering up at the blue and orange-hued sky with a despondent expression, 'Earth... why do you feel the need to hide how you're feeling...? Why can't you talk to me about it?'

"So, you confessed and he... ran away?" Venus asked.

"Yeah... but he had a valid reason for leaving. He needed to check on Earth," Mercury said.

"I guess, but that doesn't change the fact that he hasn't brought it up again."

"Well, I haven't either..." Mercury huffed, "I'm just afraid it'll mess up what's left of our friendship..."

"Him never responding is what's going to ruin your friendship! You can't just do nothing, you idiot, you have to talk to him to make things work!"

"...You're right." Mercury nodded, looking at the other, "Thanks, Venus. You're surprisingly good at giving advice."

"Yeah, yeah, don't mention it... just don't fuck anything up like you usually do and you'll be fine." Venus pulled away a branch, continuing forward.

Mercury's eyebrows twitched in annoyance, "Gee, thanks..."

"No problem, pipsqueak." Venus let go of the branch, prompting it to smack into Mercury's face.

"Wah!" Mercury yelped, scrambling away from the leafy limb.

"Oh, hey, I found your knight in shining armor!" Venus called to him.

Mercury caught up with the other, seeing Luna crouched over a figure, shaking them awake.

"Huh, it looks like the moons are also here..." Venus looked around the small clearing.

"Luna...!" Mercury ignored the stares the moons gave him and instead rushed forward to hug his crush.

"M-Mercury!" Luna stuttered, rising to his feet as Mercury collided with him.

"I was so worried when you ran off like that!" Mercury yelled, "Never do that again...!"

Luna's eyes widened. He slowly returned the hug, latching on tightly as tears formed in his eyes. He sniffled, nuzzling into Mercury's shoulder, "I won't... I promise."

"Those are utility poles, they're practically everywhere. They distribute electricity, so this is a way to keep them insulated and out of the way of earthlings and vehicles." Earth explained.

"Vehicles...?" Nine uttered.

As they neared a sidewalk, a car zoomed past, scaring the group except Earth.

"Vehicles! Cars, trucks, trains, etcetera..." Earth waved his hand, "It's how earthlings get around... though, it's not very eco-friendly."

Mars noticed the bitterness in Earth's voice as he glared at the cars passing by.

"Anyway, it looks like there's a city up ahead. Let's- agh!" Earth tumbled forward, clutching at his chest as he winced in pain.

"Earth!" Mars and Uranus shouted, rushing forward.

"Are you okay, mate?"

"Do you need help?"

Earth grunted, "Ugh, no need... I-I'm completely f-fine."

"You're not fine." Nine spoke, crossing his arms. He looked at Mars, "You're faster than us, so you go get the others.

"But-"

"That wasn't a question. Your friend is hurt, so you need to hurry."

Mars bit his lip, shakily nodding as he stood and ran back the way they came.

"I'm telling you, I'm- ngh...!" Earth groaned, eyes squeezing shut.

"Earth..." Uranus stared at the other, eyes filled with alarm and concern. He reached out, pressing a hand to Earth's cheek, causing him to shiver under the cold touch.

"That feels... nice." Earth reached up, taking Uranus' hand into his own.

Uranus found himself blushing, something in his chest hammering away, surprising him by how loud it was, hearing the thumping in his ears. He glanced at Earth, who either seemed not to hear or just didn't care about it.

'Oh, what he does to me...'

"Neptune, why are you just standing there?" Nine called out to his brother, who was a few feet away, hands reaching into his coat pockets as he looked around wildly, eyes appearing more crazed than usual, "Neptune...? What is it?"

"It-" Neptune paused, hands checking his pants pockets, "It's, uhm- uh... I can't find him..."

"Find who, mate?" Uranus knitted his brows.

"Messier!" Neptune panted, out of breath despite standing in the same spot, "H-He's gone!"
