Episode 18: Grocery Rushing, Outer Space Style!
In room 28...
Mary Frances: Okay. You all did a good job on the taffy sales. That's all for today, so you can head back to the barracks.
Portia: About time.
Gwen: Yeah. I don't know if I could take another minute with these two.
Bessie and Penny made idiotic faces.
Portia: I think I want to take a break from coming here.
Gwen: Me too. Maybe we can ask your mom.
Portia: Well, we can. Mommy?
Mary Frances: Yes, Portia?
Portia: Gwen and I were wondering if we can take a day off from coming here.
Mary Frances: Sorry, but no.
Gwen: Why not?!
Mary Frances: Because I would be a bad troop leader if I let one of my scouts take a day off.
Portia: But the board is back on Earth and we're in space.
Mary Frances: I'm sorry, but as your troop leader, I can't allow it.
Gwen: Well, what if we do something for you? Then will you let us have a day off?
Mary Frances: Well, are you sure you want to do that?
Portia: Yes. So what can we do and if we do it, can we skip a day?
Mary Frances: Fine. If you can complete this task, you two can have a day off, and we say nothing about this to the board, even though they are back on Earth.
Gwen: Okay. What do we have to do?
Mary Frances: I have a huge shopping list. If you can get on the list, you can have your day off.
Portia: Awesome! Thanks, Mommy!
Mary Frances: You're welcome.
Portia and Gwen got on one of the ships.
Portia: Time for us to have that day off.
Gwen: But first we have to get all the stuff your mom asked for.
Portia: Okay, but first, let's check the list.
She pulled it out and it was a long list of items.
Gwen: Holy shit! That many items?!
Portia: Yeah.
Gwen: Well, we can try.
Portia: Yeah. It shouldn't be too hard.
They get into one of the ships and turns it on.
Gwen: Okay. Let's do some shopping.
She turns on the radio and a song plays on it.
(Play Roam by The B-52's for the rest of this section and skip to 0:21.)
Portia: Cool song.
Gwen: Let's go get that stuff from your mom's shopping list.
They fly the ship out of the Space Tree and then start to make their way to a grocery store.
Portia: Avoid the asteroid field!
Gwen: I know.
She flies them through the asteroid field.
Portia: That was close.
Gwen: Yeah. All the missions we did really paid off.
Portia: I see the grocery store.
They approach the grocery store and they land the ship at the parking lot and got out of it wearing oxygen space helmets.
Gwen: Wow. That is one big grocery store.
Portia: Yeah. But let's go inside.
They go inside and the song ends at the 1:24 mark.
Inside...
Portia: Okay. Let's check to see what's kind of stuff they have here. Lettuce, tomatoes, headphones, pancake mix, tampons?
Gwen: Ugh... This is boring... This will take like days to get all that stuff.
Portia: I know. How about we rush and put everything on the list in the shopping cart?
Gwen: Good idea. Let's do it.
(Play Paradise City by Guns N' Roses for the rest of this section.)
Portia and Gwen walk in slow motion and pull out Mary Frances' shopping list and a pen.
Portia: You ready?
Gwen: So ready. Ready to have a day off from Stinkinbottom's annoying antics.
At the 1:21 mark, the duo grabbed a bunch of groceries on the list and tossed them in the shopping cart. They grabbed a pack of popcorn, some zarg-nuts, which is a food from the Marvel universe, they then grabbed a flat-screen TV. They continued to grab more stuff and putting them in the shopping cart. They then grabbed a microwave, a toaster and a bunch of other stuff. Throughout the song, they have been grabbing groceries until all be one of them have been scratched off the list. The song ends with them about to pay for them.
When they got there...
Gwen: This stuff must be like a thousand space dollars!
Portia: Luckily, we saved up for moments like this.
Gwen: True. (She then notices a drawing of a hand pointing at her and it wants her to approach it.) What the hell?
She approached it and it grabs her arm and dragged her into a music video.
(Play Take On Me by A-Ha for this part and skip to 1:35.)
Gwen was now in the Take On Me music video while the song is playing and Morten Harket was singing it. Gwen then danced a little bit to the song and then they noticed an policemen chasing them. They were then cornered and the tried to push the walls for safety. The managed to do it and Gwen was out of the song and back in the grocery store. The song ends at the 2:32 mark as a result.
Portia: Uh... Where have you been?
Gwen: You don't want to know.
After paying for their groceries, they are back on the ship.
Portia: Okay. We got everything on the list.
Gwen: Well, everything except for one.
Portia: What?
Gwen: Yeah. We need one more thing on your mom's shopping list.
Portia: And what is it?
Gwen: You're not gonna like this, but we're gonna have to get the arm of a ginger bot.
Portia: WHAT?!
Gwen: Damn it. Well, we need to find one.
Portia: So how do we get one?
Gwen: I don't know.
They noticed some ginger bots at the space amusement park Tenorman made.
Portia: That was easy.
Gwen: Okay. Let's go.
When they got to Tropical Resort...
Portia: Okay. How do we get it's arm?
Gwen: I have an idea.
The ginger bots are currently planning to capture more wisps until a detonator was throw at them.
Ginger Bot: What the...
It goes off and explodes all the ginger bots. One of the arms landed next to Portia and Gwen.
Portia: Let's go before they send reinforcements.
Gwen: Yeah.
They grab the arm and left the park.

Portia and Gwen are flying in space in their ship.
Portia: Looks like we got that day off.
Gwen: You said it.
They return to the Space Tree and showed Mary Frances everything they got.
Mary Frances: Wow. You actually did it. Okay. You get that day off.
Portia: Awesome!
Gwen: Yeah!
The next day...
Portia: Best day off ever.
Gwen: You said it.
Portia: Unfortunately we have to go back tomorrow.
Gwen: Yeah. But hey, at least we don't have to deal with that four eyed bitch for today.
Portia: You said it. Now let's enjoy this pink lemonade.
Gwen: Yeah.
Portia: By the way, where did you get that detonator at?
Gwen: I took it from Professor Chaos. He was planning on blowing up some planets, but I stopped him. Besides, one detonator wasn't gonna blow up a whole planet.
Portia: Yeah. Let's just enjoy our day off.
Gwen: Yeah. (They continued to have their day off.) Wait. What did your mom need that ginger bot's arm for?
Portia spits out her drink.
Meanwhile...
Mary Frances: Here you go, Rawls. Your scientists can run some tests on this.
Colonel Rawls: Thanks, Mary Frances.
Mary Frances: You're welcome.
She leaves and some scientists enter.
Colonel Rawls: Take this arm to the lab and run some tests on it. I want to see where those disgusting robots came from.
Scientist: Yes, Sir.
They grab the arm and left.
Colonel Rawls: I know Tenorman made them, but still. They should run some tests on them.
