Lets get to it.
Three hours later, it was 6pm. All the Loud siblings sans Lincoln and Lori arrived at the Loud house. Lori was staying at Bobby's because Fairway University also had a long weekend. The Louds all walked in the house and were greeted by Lauren.
"Lincoln is fighting Darkness." Lauren informed displaying Darkness. "He has been fighting him alone for three hours."
The Louds were speechless for a few seconds.
"But me, Lincoln, and Lucy defeated him." Lynn said.
"Yes, but he has returned." Lauren responded.
"I knew I sensed something dark." Lucy said. "I just didn't think it was Darkness returning."
"How is he back anyway?" Lana asked.
"It's because of Walter Wetta." Lauren answered displaying him, as well as everything else she was explaining. "As you know, he used a machine he invented to give himself dark powers. But to do this, he acquired a piece of Darkness that had fallen to earth when he exploded. When he activated his device, Darkness was reborn. He has been generating a new body, and now it is complete. He has also stolen two power stones from Lexcorp. Because of this, he is now more powerful than ever."
"Then we have to help Linky." Leni cried.
"Lauren, where is the fight happening?" Lola asked.
"In a cave near the Royal Woods Cemetery." Lauren answered.
"Then let's suit up, dudes." Luna said.
The Louds then texted the rest of the team, suited up, and once the texts came in that everyone was ready, Lucy teleported everyone to the cave.
Back with Superboy, the Loud hero flew toward Darkness who was flying toward him as well. Darkness tried landing punches to Superboy, but he either dodged them all or blocked them with his arms. Superboy then landed several combos on Darkness before kicking him into the wall.
Darkness then recovered and enveloped his hands in dark energy. He then flew towards Superboy with a roar. Now they were both moving faster than the eye could see. Darkness tried to land a punch to Superboy, but he ducked to avoid it. The Loud hero then responded by trying to throw a punch at Darkness, but he dodged it. Superboy then leapt up and tried to slam both his feet down on Darkness, but he narrowly dodged it. Superboy then tried punching Darkness three times, but only ended up punching the wall. On the fourth punch however, the Loud hero nailed Darkness in the face. His punch created a shockwave that cracked the floor and sent Darkness deep into the wall. Now there was a crater in the wall.
Superboy approached the crater not sure if Darkness was done or not. But before he could do anything, Darkness's fists, still enveloped in dark energy, emerged from the crater and landed a powerful double punch to Superboy. The Loud hero was sent flying all the way to the wall on the other side. He smashed into the wall before he dropped onto the floor on one knee. He recovered from the blow as Darkness flew over and landed in front of him. The dark energy on Darkness's fists dissipated as he glared at the twelve year old hero with pure malice.
The Loud hero got back up.
"You'll never win, Darkness!" Superboy declared. "I'll keep fighting for the rest of the day and the entire night if thats what it takes to defeat you!"
"You won't be alive to see the sun rise again." Darkness countered. "In fact, once I destroy you and your family, the sun will never shine on the world again."
"Not if we can help it!"
Darkness turned around and saw the rest of the team was there. Superboy then flew over to Sungirl.
"Are you ok, Superboy?" She asked.
"I'm ok, Sungirl." Superboy answered.
They then shared a quick kiss before focusing on Darkness again.
"So, you have grown your pathetic team." Darkness said. "No matter, you will all die!"
"Not as long as we have this new spell we found that can seal you." Eight Of Spades countered holding her spell book. "The old spell won't work, but this one will."
Eight Of Spades, Eternal Night, and The Shadow read the spell and Darkness was reduced to a black mist and went inside the spell book.
Just when they thought it was over, the spell book exploded in a blinding light. The heroes all shielded their eyes until the light dissipated.
"My spell book's destroyed!" Eight Of Spades cried.
The heroes all saw that the black mist was floating in front of them. With an explosion of dark energy, he resumed his form.
"I have absorbed the power from those spells the last time I was sealed." Darkness said. "What may have worked 500 years ago no longer does!"
Darkness then sent out a powerful shockwave of darkness at the heroes, knocking them all back. The team quickly recovered as Darkness flew towards them. The heroes all took fighting stances as he slowly descended and landed in front of them..
"You all must realize now that you cannot hope to stop me." Darkness boasted.
"Well Superboy here clearly is still at 100% after fighting you alone for three hours straight." Strong Suit responded. "Each of us is powerful alone, but when we work as a team, we are unstoppable!"
"Yeah, you're going down Tiger-face!" Queen Of Diamonds declared.
"And you'll finally pay for killing Carl, Sergio, and this universe's Carlota!" Batgirl said.
"Ah yes, the boy who freed me after Lucy Loud's pathetic friends sealed me again." Darkness responded. "The girl who came to check on him, and the stupid bird. Wait?! Did you say 'this universe's Carlota'?!"
"That's right." Shazam answered. "That universe's Carlota looked after me when our families in that universe were killed. Card Counter brought us here and we now live happy lives again!"
"You've caused our family so much grief, Darkness!" The Boulder scolded. "Now, justice will finally be served!"
"Actually, I'll be serving death to all of you." Darkness countered. "Then I will cast this foolish world of humanity into eternal darkness. There will be no hope, no peace, no light in this world. This world will never see sunlight again, and pain, misery, and death will reign supreme."
"You truly are a monster!" Royal Flush said.
"You won't be doing anything to the world!" Sungirl proclaimed. "Light always triumphs over darkness!"
"I may like dark things, but this is one time I embrace the light." Eight Of Spades said.
"And I heard about you possessing Eight Of Spades here!" Eternal night accused. "You're gonna pay for possessing my girlfriend!"
Darkness chuckled.
"It was fun possessing her." He said. "Although, the only reason I possessed her back then is because my body hadn't been fully restored yet. But now that my body is fully restored, I have no further use for her."
Eight Of Spades was angered remembering how Darkness possessed her.
"Well now we will destroy you, Darkness!" She proclaimed.
"That's right. You're literally done for!" High Card said.
"I tire of all of your existences." Darkness said. "Now I will crush all of you!"
Darkness then turned the floor into a pool of darkness, and he dove in. Suddenly, two creatures of darkness emerged from the pool. Unlike the ones before, these ones looked like Carl Casagrande and Sergio. Both of them had red eyes and dark auras around them. The Boulder and Batgirl were taken aback.
"Carl, Sergio?" They both uttered.
"No, they are just my creatures of darkness that I made look like them." Darkness said.
Dark Carl and Dark Sergio screeched and fired lasers from their mouths. All the heroes dodged it, then Superboy and Sungirl incinerated them with their heat vision and lasers of sunlight, respectively.
Then, thousands of humanoid cat creatures of darkness emerged from the pool of darkness.
"What are these things?" Sonic Boom asked.
"They look like cats with no nose or mouth." Royal Flush answered.
"Say hello to my creatures of darkness." Darkness said.
The creatures screeched and tried pouncing on the heroes. Queen Of Diamonds copied The Burner's powers while Royal Flush copied Lightning's powers. Each hero used their respective powers to effortlessly dispatch each creature. Thousands more kept coming but they were easily dispatched. After ten minutes, Darkness merged from the pool of darkness, then got rid of it.
"You pests! I'll crush you!" Darkness said.
Darkness then flew up to the top of the arena and summoned thousands of dark orbs. He then sent them all down toward the heroes, who used several evasive maneuvers to dodge them all. Superboy and Sungirl then flew up to Darkness and punched him toward the ground. Supergirl and Sunboy then punched him into the air, then Shazam and The Barrier punched him into the wall.
Darkness roared and teleported back to the top. He then charged up a massive dark orb. He then sent it down, but High Card stopped it with her telekinesis, then she sent it back toward Darkness. The orb exploded on impact, and Darkness fell to the ground. The Boulder then turned into his rock monster form and landed numerous punches to him.
Eleven Of Hearts then pummeled Darkness with several meteors. Aquaman then picked Darkness up and sent him fling in to the wall with his trident. Night Club and Sonic Boom then sent out a sonic boom clap at Darkness, then they both landed several combos to him.
The Shapeshifter then turned into a large hammer and The Joker grabbed him.
"It's hammer time!" The Joker joked. "Hahahaha, get it?"
The Joker then whacked Darkness with The Shapeshifter several times.
When the attack was done, Darkness recovered. Strong Suit and Muscles then attacked Darkness. They both landed several combos to Darkness before they both landed a massive punch to his face, sending him flying to the other side.
Eight Of Spades and Eternal Night then flew to the top and charged up massive dark orbs. They then dent them down at Darkness, and they exploded on impact. When they were done, Queen Of Diamonds then flew up and charged up a massive fireball. She then sent it down toward Darkness, and it exploded on impact. The Bomb then sent several energy spears at Darkness, followed by Royal Flush firing lighting from her hands at Darkness.
Card Counter than flew over and fired her kryptonian blaster at Darkness, followed by several explosive charges. Blue beetle then fired an energy blast at Darkness. The Deuce than grew to fifty feet tall and pummeled Darkness with her fists.
The Burner than launched several fireballs at Darkness, then The Freezer launched several ice balls at him. Finally, Catgirl punched Darkness back.
Wonder Gal then pulled out her sword. Darkness then magically conjured up a sword of his own. The two than intimated a sword fight. They seem to be evenly matched in skill. Soone enough, Wonder Gal switched tactics and whacked Darkness away with her shield.
Wonder Woman then confronted Darkness. Darkness then fired several dark orbs in a rapid fury at Wonder Woman, but she effortlessly blocked them all with her bracelets. She then pulled out her lasso and lassoed Darkness's wrist. She then pulled him toward her and whacked him several times with her shield. Then Wonder Woman tried slashing him with her sword, but he dodged the attack. Wonder Woman then landed several punches to Darkness's face before kicking him away.
Batman, Robin, and Batgirl than launched explosive charges at Darkness. Green Lantern A and Green Lantern B turned their auras into laser cannons. They fired green laser at Darkness. Mudboy then transformed into his mud monster form and fired mud at Darkness, as well as landing punches to him. Lightning flew overhead and fired huge streams of lightning from her hands at Darkness, who yelled in pain. Alienboy flew overhead and fired a green laser at Darkness, then Jokester Quinn leapt up and slammed her hammer down on Darkness. Muscleboy then leapt up and performed a bodyslam on Darkness, then Derbygirl leapt up and slammed both her fists down on Darkness.
Machinegirl then took control of the Batmobile, which was parked outside the cave, and had it drive itself into the cave. She then had the Batmobile fire its machine guns at Darkness. She then had it fire explosive charges at him. Skateboardboy then skated in and performed a twist in the air, and sent out a wave of energy at Darkness.
Raven then launched waves of darkness at Darkness, followed by Starfire firing an energy blast at him. The Flash then attacked Darkness so fast that he couldn't see her. Invisigirl then turned invisible and punched Darkness high into the air. She then leapt up and landed two kicks, followed by a punch to Darkness. She then did a heel kick on Darkness, which sent him crashing to the floor. The Sorcerer then cast a spell that would temporarily immobilize Darkness. The Shadow then turned into a giant shadow and slammed her fists down on Darkness several times.
The spell wore off, and Superboy and Sungirl attacked. Sungirl punched Darkness into the air, then Superboy punched him to the ground.
Darkness was now down on one knee, and the heroes all gathered in front of him. Darkness then got up and then dark energy emitted from him and surrounded the heroes. When the mist cleared, it revealed that numerous clones of Darkness had appeared. Darkness laughed evilly and he and his clones all flew to the top. They then magically conjured up several stone pillars in the air. They then had the pillars slam down toward the heroes, and they all dodged them.
Darkness then got rid of the pillars, and he and all his clones started fighting the heroes. It was one Darkness vs two or three heroes.
Superboy and Sungirl were fighting the real Darkness. Darkness unsheathed a dark energy blade from the palm of his hand. He then tried slashing Superboy and Sungirl several times, but they both dodged his strikes with no problem.
Darkness chuckled
"You two are impressive, I'll give you that." He admitted. "I might consider sparing you two."
"Yeah, well we won't be sparing you!" Sungirl countered.
"That's right, we will end this today!" Superboy added.
Darkness then enveloped his fists in dark energy. The dark humanoid tiger then tried coring a blow on Superboy and Sungirl, but he couldn't land a hit. When these two worked together, it was like nothing could touch them. Superboy and Sungirl landed a powerful punch to Darkness, sending him slamming into the wall. Superboy then fired his heat vision at Darkness while Sungirl fired her lasers of sunlight at Darkness. Darkness yelled in pain. The two heroes then grabbed him by his horns, then slammed both their fists down on his head, sending him smashing in to the floor. Darkness then recovered from the onslaught.
"I'm disappointed, you two." Darkness said. "Truly disappointed."
"Like we care!" Superboy replied.
Superboy and Sungirl flew forward toward Darkness, and Darkness followed suit.
Supergirl and Sunboy were fighting off a clone. They both landed several combos to the clone, before slamming him into the ground. The clone recovered and tried to slash them with his claws, but they easily dodged.
Shazam and The Barrier were fighting their own clone of Darkness. The clone fired lasers from his hands at them, and The Barrier put up a force field around them. When the attack ended, Shazam fired his magic lightning at the clone while The Barrier fired some energy balls at the clone. They then flew forward and landed a massive punch to the clone, sending him crashing into the wall.
Meanwhile, Batman was watching all the heroes battle Darkness and his clones.
"Darkness and his clones keep recovering." Batman noted. "I don't think we can stop him alone."
He then realized something.
"But there is one power that no dark power can overcome." He finished.
Batman then got in his Batmobile and raced out of the cave.
A few minutes later, the heroes were all still battling Darkness and his clones. The Batmobile then drove in and stopped. Batman then stepped out as well as a priest. The priest had light brown hair, fair skin, and he wore a priest's robe. He was also carrying the Holy Eucharist while Batman was carrying a prayer book.
Wonder Woman went up to them.
"Good, your back." She told Batman.
"Yes, and I brought someone who can stop Darkness once and for all." Batman replied.
The heroes all heard this and went over to them. At the same time, Darkness's clones vanished, and Darkness actually felt fear seeing the priest.
"You can stop Darkness?" Royal Flush asked the priest.
"Well, God can." The priest answered. "After all, no evil can overcome God's power."
"That is true." Wonder Gal agreed. "God is infinitely more powerful then all."
The other heroes agreed too.
The Priest and Batman then got in front of the rest of the heroes.
"Batman, can you please get to the page that will defeat Darkness." The priest asked.
"Of course, Father." Batman answered.
He then got to the page where a prayer was that would defeat Darkness. He then held it so that the priest could read it while the priest held the Holy Eucharist toward Darkness. He then read the prayer while the other heroes took praying stances. Soon, the priest read the end of the prayer.
"And now, in the name of Jesus Christ, BEGONE!" The priest demanded.
Darkness then felt weak and collapsed to the ground.
"NO, I WAS SO CLOSE!" Darkness yelled. "WHAT'S HAPPENING TO ME?!"
Darkness then disappeared.
"Where did he go?" Lightning asked.
"He has been erased from existence." The priest answered.
The heroes all felt relieved.
"Thank you, Father." Superboy thanked.
"You're welcome." The priest replied.
With the battle over, Batman drove the priest back to the church while Eight Of Spades teleported everyone else home.
And Darkness has been defeated. He has been erased from existence, and this includes any piece of him floating in space.
