Fumi was nervous.

That was okay, Sadi was nervous too.

Today was Sunday, the Sunday where they would finally go to U.A. for the first time as students of U.A's hero course and be moving into the first-year dorms.

Fumi being the one with a working physical body, fussed over himself and the uniform that their mom and mother got for Fumi.

Sadi thought the uniform was much better than their middle school one, there was much more color to it even if it was mainly grey and green.

The yellow buttons weren't as shiny as they thought the buttons should be.

Fumi would have agreed with them if he wasn't busy trying to get his neck-tie just right.

Sadi not being able to wear clothes though merely played with their kitty so their talons had something to fret with.

Normally they would have tried to reassure Fumi, they were going to know three people in class with them and their dormmates, but there was a wrench in that now with their inclusion.

Sadi, unlike before, would be a part of the class and expected to participate as well.

There would be accommodations to help them both take their tests fairly, and they were sure that Izuku would help them with anything else if they asked for him.

Still the idea of being a part of the class and not just a part of Fumi as his quirk was making Sadi anxious.

They had no idea how accepting their other classmates would be of them as an independent person who happened to be chimera-twin and only visible when they used their quirk.

Bakugou and Uki-Chan would defend them though if someone had a problem.

That did not mean that Sadi would be able to interact well with their classmates.

All of their previous behavior was based on being a quirk and not a person, they couldn't even go with how Fumi acted before since they both knew that was something based on the tv dramas that they watched.

Which left them both uneasy and trying to smooth their feathers or clothes to soothe their nerves.

A knock at their door and the following cooing noise let them know that it was their mother behind the door, Fumi chirped back, and she entered their room.

Mother cooed even louder when she saw them both, walking over and pulling them both close in a hug.

"Oh, look at both of my chickadees, you both look so good in that uniform." she cooed gently running her hands through their feathers.

"Thanks mother." Fumi bashful replied while Sadi chirped their thanks back.

Mother looked around their emptier room, turning a touch sad before she gave them both a nuzzle "The two of you are growing up so fast, and I wasn't able to watch half of it." she told them, looking over at Sadi as she stroked their feathers.

"Mother, we told you, we don't blame you for that." Fumi assured her.

"I know, just the empty nesting hitting me already," Mother told them with a sad squawk, bringing up one of her hands to cup her cheek "I'll need to ask Inko how she dealt with this when Izuku-Kun left for his work." she muttered out loud, more to herself than to either of them.

Mother shook her head "Do you want help with your tie Fumi? I wouldn't want you both to miss your train." she offered.

Fumi agreed with a chirp nodding.

She deftly moved all four of her fingers to fix Fumi's tie, Sadi watching with rapt attention so that they could help Fumi next time, before grabbing their bag so they could leave for the station.

Mom hugging them both, stepping out of her study to give them a goodbye in person.

Then mother dropped them both off at the station, Bakugou already waiting there for them on one of the benches.

"Bakugou!" Sadi chirped once Fumi was closer and hugged Bakugou.

Bakugou tsked rolling his eyes and focusing on his phone again, letting them continue to nuzzle him.

"Good morning Bakugou." Fumi greeted sitting next to Bakugou.

"Morning." Bakugou replied, not looking up from his phone.

Curious and wanting something to distract themself Sadi looked to see what Bakugou was doing on his phone.

*Sadi, do not.* Fumi scolded them, sending them a glare and Sadi huffed wishing they had a tongue to stick out at him back.

"Oi, either of you rejected muppets look up who our teachers going to be?" Bakugou questioned surprising them.

"No, I was not aware we could do that, U.A. is usually very restrictive on their information." Fumi answered.

"Yeah, but their website has a student portal, and you can look at the teachers list there idiots." Bakugou told them, then showed them his phone.

And indeed Sadi saw there was a list of teachers on the screen, Ectoplasm picture currently being shown with his name, his homeroom class and that he was the math teacher.

"Oh, I didn't know there was a student portal." Sadi commented, trying to recall the website but came up empty-handed.

Bakugou tsked.

"That's cause they don't make it obvious Potty, it's hidden in the help page to keep hacking fuckers from trying to break in." Bakugou explained holding out his hand for Fumi's phone.

Fumi handed it over and let them watch as he showed them how to get to the student portal log in, which was indeed hidden the decorative background of the page, Bakugou tapping on the picture of a word bubble by Present Mic.

The screen changing to one of Present Mic asking for their student I.D. number.

"Wow, how'd you even know about that Bakugou?" Sadi asked amazed.

Bakugou scoffed, handing Fumi his phone back.

"I fucking asked dumbass, when my hag and old man was setting shit up with the school I asked if there was a student page with information on the campus and shit." Bakugou answered.

Sadi made sure to hug Bakugou again "You're so smart Bakugou!" Sadi told the blonde, Bakugou tsked back and looking away from them but not pushing them away.

"Bakugou, have you seen who our homeroom teacher will be?" Fumi asked softly, a touch worried as he looked up from his phone.

Bakugou scowled back, but nodded.

*Who's our homeroom teacher?* Sadi asked confused.

*Izuku.* Fumi answered and Sadi understood immediately why their brother was concerned, they were concerned too.

"Will you be okay with that?" Sadi asked.

Bakugou sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose.

"I can be around Izuku just fine, can't talk directly to the fucker but he knows JSL so I don't need to say crap to him. I'll be fine you brain-dead penguins." Bakugou gruffly assured them.

Well, Bakugou and Izuku did have a better relationship now... but they would keep an eye on things, just in case.

"Train's here, look alive muppets." Bakugou told them standing up.

Fumi was quick to stand up and follow Bakugou, and Sadi shrunk down to remain unnoticed on Fumi's shoulder through the train ride, Sadi keeping an eye on their surroundings while Fumi looked through the list of teachers.

The ride didn't take long and then they were walking to the gates of U.A.

They had come early so they weren't surprised that there weren't many students there yet letting them swipe their I.D.s and type in their passcodes rather quickly.

Passing through the large gates wondering when they would be used to them, maybe after a month Sadi would stop feeling the weight of them actually going to and living at U.A.

There were more people at the entrance of the main building, students that came early like them and Sadi wasn't surprised when Bakugou moved so that he could avoid most of them.

As calm as Bakugou tried to pretend he was, Sadi didn't doubt he was as nervous as they and Fumi were.

So, they didn't say anything and just continued to follow Bakugou inside the school, the doors and hallways being large as well.

Bakugou only paused to look up at the ceiling before turning to walk down one of the halls.

"Do you know where our classroom is?" Fumi inquired.

"The black line in the mold up there, also on the student page Patchy." Bakugou answered, jabbing his thumb upwards.

Sadi looked up since looking that far upwards would be awkward and a little painful for Fumi to do, and there were different color lines up on the molding.

*Oh there is Fumi, there's a couple others too.* Sadi told their brother.

*Hm, they're probably for the other courses.* Fumi replied, attempting to take a quick look himself.

It took some time, but they reached class 1-A with ten minutes to spare before class, which was a good thing since Bakugou should really put up his legs about now.

He hadn't been able to sit on the train without crowded it was and trying to stay away from everyone else had done nothing to ease Bakugou's stress.

Bakugou opened the door and there were a couple of people already inside the classroom.

About eight of them in fact, Sadi recognized a couple of them right off the bat.

The large guy with glasses and brown fur was from their physical test since they helped him a couple of times, his large form and shaggy fur was hard to mistake.

But more disappointingly, the meanie was there too!

Sadi remembered the blue-haired boy was the one to yell at Uki-Chan and apparently tried to stop her when she went to help someone she planned to partner with.

Sadi would be sure to keep an eye on him to make sure he didn't try to pick on Uki-Chan again.

The meanie was wrapped up in a conversation with a brunette girl though, so it was easy for Bakugou, Fumi and themself to slip to the back where Bakugou's assigned seat was in the second row of the twenty desks.

Bakugou dumped his backpack on the floor and immediately propped his feet on the desk after he sat down, a huff of relief once he could put them up and Bakugou let his head tilt backwards as well.

*Let's sit down and read through the student page more.* Fumi suggested, Bakugou would need time to de-compress after the ride over and let his blood-pressure get back to normal, so Sadi agreed easily, and Fumi was about to head over to his seat.

One that to Sadu's delight would be two seats in front of Bakugou in the middle of the second row when the Meanie moved passed them.

"You there! You cannot put your feet on the desk! That is most disrespectful and against the rules!" The meanie barked at Bakugou, one of his arms moving as he spoke.

Bakugou of course sneered back at the Meanie and Sadi didn't blame him.

How dare that Meanie accost Bakugou and make everyone look at him when he was feeling light-headed and just wanted to be left alone!

Fumi was quick to defend Bakugou though and stepped closer to Bakugou's side.

"Bakugou has a medical condition; he has permission to elevate his feet before, during and after classes on his desk from the teachers, as it is one of his medical accommodations." Fumi calmly explained while Bakugou glared at the stunned Meanie.

"My apologizes, I didn't know that you were using one of your accommodations Bakugou-San!" Meanie told them much too loud and bowing dramatically.

"Well, you should have asked first before assuming!" Sadi huffily exclaimed, making their body bigger so that they could be seen easier since they wanted him to see how unhappy they were with him.

"You are not supposed to use your quirk outside of classes!" the meanie exclaimed, his arm making the strange chopping motions again, this time towards them and Fumi.

Sadi flinched back and away from the meanie.

Fumi's feathers stood up and he puffed up with indignation, Bakugou though put his feet on the ground and sat up to better focus his glare at the meanie.

"That is his sibling, not his quirk and you better fucking respect them as the person they are or we will have problems glasses." Bakugou coldly growled at the meanie, stressing Sadi's pronouns.

Sadi couldn't help feeling extremely happy that Bakugou jumped to their defense right away and knew Fumi was also happy about that, he always was happy when Bakugou defended them.

The meanie was red now and seemed to be flummoxed before speaking "I apologize for the mistake, but I believe that my point still stands as they should not be using their quirk to cling to their brother."

Bakugou's eye twitched.

"They are not," Fumi quickly interjected placing a hand on Bakugou's shoulder to keep him from speaking more "Sadi and I are chimera twins and cannot be physically separated without a surgery that would kill them." Fumi corrected tersely.

If the meanie was shocked before then Sadi didn't know what to call how stunned the meanie was now, before the meanie could bow and spout off another apology Bakugou scoffed at him.

"If you're done harassing us then piss off and just leave us alone glasses." Bakugou spat, clearly done with the meanie and all of the drama they were stirring up with their loud accusations.

Sadi though would be sure to praise Bakugou for his restraint later, he had only called meanie 'glasses' and not a 'fuck-wit' or something.

"That kind of language is-" Meanie treated to protest but Bakugou again cut him off.

"Crass. Don't care, fuck off and stop harassing us." Bakugou told him.

Thankfully before it could escalate even further the large guy with brown fur and glasses stepped in and held a hand in front of them, Fumi and Bakugou.

"Iida-San I believe it would be best to leave them alone like they are asking, if you do have a problem about Bakugou-San's behavior then please take it up with the teacher once they arrive." The large guy requested, calmly trying to defuse the situation.

Meanie flushed in the face meekly agreed and proceeded to leave for what they guessed was the meanie's seat.

"I'm sorry he bothered you three, do you need anything?" the guy asked turning around towards them.

Bakugou huffed and just put his feet back up and dug out his headphones to ignore everything.

"We shall be okay, thank you for stepping in though, Bakugou does not react well to stressful confrontations that he cannot walk away from." Fumi explained with a little bow.

"It was nothing, I remember the two of you helped me during the exam and was glad to repay the favor." he told them.

"Of course we would! How could we leave you trapped like that when the buildings were collapsing around us?" Sadi told him in return.

He was so out of it and the both of them could never just leave the boy where he was in good consciousness.

"Still, I am very grateful to you both, I am Jurota Shishida." the large guy informed them, introducing himself.

"We are Fumikage and Sadi, Tokoyami, he/him and they/them." Fumi said in return, pointing to each other when he said their respective pronouns.

"Lovely to meet you both." Jurota-San said with a smile before moving back to his seat, four seat in the first row.

Grateful they no longer had the groups attention Fumi and Sadi sat down in their seat.

*Well that could have gone better.* Fumi told them.

*It could have been worse too, I'm glad Jurota stepped in.* Sadi pointed out, knowing that Bakugou could have definitely lost it if the meanie kept pushing.

*As am I, I hope that Izuku, Uki and Jiji get here soon.* Fumi replied quietly even in their mind.

*Me too.* Sadi said.

Ochaco was smiling as she walked hand and hand with Jiji to their class, with Awa-Kun talking with Jiji through the halls.

The morning had been good, and she probably cried a little too much when she left that morning since Jiji and Awa-Kun were worried about her when she met them on the train, but she was the only one with her eyes a little red from crying.

And now here they were heading to class at U.A!

Today wasn't going to be that intensive but she was still nervous about how she would do, she'd have no problem acting professionally with Izu-Kun but she was a little worried about how she would do during the Quirk assessment test listed on the curriculum.

She wasn't sure how exactly the test would go, if it was a general test or a specialized one that would be different for each of their classmates and sister class 1-B.

Then once that was done, she'd need to move her things into her new dorm room.

Jiji squeezed her hand to bring her back out of her head, and Ochaco smiled up to him and signed 'thank you' to him with her other hand.

She knew JSL pretty well but she wanted to practice it more since there was a chance that Shinsou would be in their class, well she hoped that Shinsou would be in her or Awa-Kun's class.

He had such a nice quirk, and she knew Izu-Kun would love to work with Shinsou so he could become the best hero he could be.

Turning a corner, she saw they would soon be at each other's classrooms.

"Damn, guess this is where we'll have to split up for a bit, see you guys on the field in a few minutes?" Awa-Kun guessed as he crossed his arms, now that they reached the room for class 1-B.

"We'll see you later Awa-Kun." Ochaco and Jiji told him with a wave before continuing on to their own classroom.

They walked in a comfortable silence to their classroom; she didn't think it would take too much longer since they couldn't have the classes that far from each other.

And when she did see the door from 1-A Ochaco felt even happier.

She couldn't be sure, but she was almost certain that she could see Shinsou just inside of the open classroom door for 1-A.

Walking ahead of Jiji she saw that yes, it was Shinsou and Kirishima, though Kirishima had clearly done something with his hair since there was now red streaks in the mix of black hair and it was now gelled back and pointy like Bakugou's hair.

"Kirishima, Shinsou!" she called coming over to them.

Kirishima was equally happy to see her and grinned meeting her at the door and hugging her.

"Uraraka, thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" Kirishima he told her and Ochaco couldn't help laughing a little from his response.

"It's no problem, I was happy to help and if anything, I should be the one thanking Shinsou since he was the one that saved me during the exam." Ochaco told him pushing him off a little.

Shinsou already a little flushed from everyone in the class looking at them because of Kirishima's response became even more red-faced.

'I didn't do that much, you were the reason I got in.' Shinsou signed back to her.

"Shinsou you probably saved my life, don't downplay yourself." Ochaco told him making Shinsou turn away from them, embarrassed she guessed given how he hunched in on himself like Izu-Kun used to do when they complimented him.

Kirishima's eye went wide.

"You know sign language? Bro, can you teach me? I've been trying to learn but I haven't made much progress." Kirishima asked her.

Ochaco was about to agree when someone called out: "Good morning." louder than most people would though not above the level that would be polite, and she looked over to who spoke up.

Her mood was soured once she saw who it was that he was coming over to them, it was that boy from Somei that scolded her and Kirishima before the physical.

"My name is Iida Tenya, I am from-" he said marching over to them with clear purpose in his steps and even moving his arms in the 'marching' fashion.

"Somei Private Academy, I know." Ochaco said cutting him off, perhaps a bit curtly as she stared him down with her arms crossed.

"What do you want?" she questioned instead of giving her name in return.

The boy looked stunned for a moment but powered on to ask.

"You realized there was something more to the practical exam, didn't you?"

What?

"I had no idea... I misjudged you! I hate to admit it, but you are better than me." Iida told her before bowing to her.

It took a moment for Ochaco's brain to catch on but once she did, she couldn't help feeling even more annoyed with him and she scoffed.

"Are you dense?" she asked, Iida flinched standing back up to look at her surprised by her response.

"I didn't know anything about the rescue points, but it doesn't take a massive leap in logic to think that they've be watching how we acted to the others during the exam, we were trying to get into the hero course for god's sake." Ochaco told him.

"And then today instead of apologizing to me and Kirishima for when you tried to 'call us out' yesterday when I was trying to help Kirishima to stop panicking over his friend possibly failing, you accost me and all but accuse me of having 'insider' knowledge for being a decent person." Ochaco ranted.

"So, let me ask you again, are you dense?" Ochaco questioned with her hands on her hips.

Iida, stammered for a moment, red in the face.

"You tell that meanie Uki-Chan!" Sadi-Chan exclaimed, and she turned around to see both the Tokoyamis sitting in the third seat of the second row.

"Hi Sadi-Chan, are you and Fumi-San doing, okay?" Ochaco asked going over to them to hug them both.

Sadi happily meeting her half-way with a happy chirp and nuzzled her.

"Uki, we should all get to our seats, the teacher will be here soon." Jiji said placing a hand on her shoulder.

"Right." she replied letting go of Sadi-Chan and frowned when she saw that Iida was in the seat behind her's.

*Well, at least I won't have to look at the back of his head.* Ochaco thought as she took her seat in the second chair of the third row, right behind a tall girl with her long black hair in a ponytail.

Kirishima sat in the chair on her right, and it was probably for the best that Jiji was one behind her on the left of Iida so she wouldn't be distracted by him.

And shortly before the bell would ring, she perked up when Izu-Kun walked through the door and over to the podium.

She knew that Izu-Kun would be their quirk studies teacher, but Izuku hadn't told them that he'd also be their homeroom teacher.

Izu-Kun had just stepped behind the podium and was about to introduce himself when, of course, Iida had to stand up behind her.

"Why are you out of uniform, that is highly disrespectful!" Iida exclaimed.

Ochaco resisted the urge to let her head hit her desk, just how dense was this rich idiot that he didn't know that Izu-Kun was their teacher and not a student?

Like she would get it since Izu-Kun is the same age as them, but he is literally everywhere on T.V. recently as one of U.A's TAs.

Izu-Kun, with a kindness and patience that she didn't have at that moment merely smiled pleasantly back at Iida.

"Well, if I was a student, you would be correct that I would be disrespectful by not being in the student uniform." Izu-Kun answered.

"Then why are you not in uniform?" Iida further questioned and Ochaco facepalmed in her mind, since Izu-Kun just said, well more implied she guessed, that he wasn't a student.

"Because there is no uniform for the staff of U.A, only for the students." Izu-Kun answered.

"You're a member of staff?" Iida sputtered, clearly taken about.

"Yes." Izu-Kun answered simply.

"My name as some of you may know is Midoriya Izuku, I would prefer you to call me Deku-Sensei, and I will be your quirk theory and practice teacher at U.A. I will also be your homeroom teacher for the year." Izu-Kun further explained, introducing himself to the class as a whole.

Before anyone could say anything else though Izu-Kun ducked under the podium to put a large case on the podium.

"Now, please find your P.E. uniform in this case and meet me down at the P.E. grounds for roll call after getting changed." Izu-Kun told the class before leaving without another word.

Ochaco stood up and headed for the podium, only to pause before she could look for her uniform when she realized that most of the class hadn't moved.

Iida seemed frozen from when he first stood up, to confront Izu-Kun.

And only a couple of people she didn't know were moving to grab their P.E. uniforms or waiting for a chance to look for theirs.

"Didn't you hear Deku-Sensei? We're supposed to get changed and meet him down at the P.E. grounds." She asked the class, glad she hadn't slipped up and said Izu-Kun by mistake.

"Wait that guy's seriously our teacher?" a blonde boy with a single lock of black hair questioned.

"Yes, if you looked at the student page of U.A's website you will find that Mi- Deku-Sensei is listed as our homeroom teacher." Fumi-San volunteered for the class as he waiting for Sadi-Chan to finish looking for his.

Oh, she hadn't known there was a student page, she'd need to ask them about that later once they were dismissed.

Iida seemed to have finally rebooted on and began to speak up.

"Even if he is our teacher, it is highly inappropriate for him to just leave us here without any further instructions, we are supposed to spend the first five minutes getting to know each other before being led to an auditorium for orientation." Iida protested.

Ochaco groaned.

"No, we aren't. According to our curriculum we are supposed to be doing a Quirk assessment test at one of the school's many training areas. Didn't any of you read the curriculum sent to us?" Ochaco asked them.

The fact that half of them looked shocked was so deeply disappointing, but she just shook her head and went back to finding her own uniform.

If they didn't want to listen and couldn't be bothered to look at the curriculum sent to them closely enough to know that the orientation was only mentioned and not where they were supposed to be going, then it wasn't her fault, and they could flounder on their own.

It didn't take long and she was out the door, only to pause when she realized she didn't know where the locker rooms actually were.

"Um Fumi-San, Sadi-Chan do you know-" she asked turning to the two of them, but Bakugou walked pass her with his own uniform in hand.

"Just follow me Newton fucker, I've seen the map, it's on the site too." Bakugou told her, and Ochaco nodded following right after her rival.

She did notice he was taking his jacket off as they walked, and she huffed when he raised a brow at her watching him.

There was no need to say anything between them.

The challenge was clear and accepted.

Ochaco took off her jacket as well, she would not be out done, and she would get out of the locker room first.

She even used her excellent sense of balance to hop for a bit as she took off her shoes and socks too with a grin right back at him.

Bakugou scoffed, but he had to stop and take his socks and shoes off since he couldn't hop like she had.

And well by the time they reached the locker rooms Bakugou unfortunately had the advantage of being able to take off his shirt whereas she couldn't, she wouldn't be outdone though and knew she'd have a few more seconds since Bakugou would have to wrestle with his belt once they were inside.

Ochaco would just need to shimmy out of her skirt and take off her top before she could change into her P.E. uniform.

She would definitely be out of the locker room first.

Hitoshi's first day at school was… not going how he thought it would.

The first surprise of the day was when Kirishima got on the train and Hitoshi saw his friend's normally limp black hair was gelled up and back to make various points, the bold bright red streaks in his hair were also new.

Kirishima asked him what he thought about it, Hitoshi gave him a double thumbs up back and Kirishima beamed at him.

The ride would have been smoother though if it wasn't for another girl from Kirishima's middle school that was also on the train with them.

He thought that her name was Mina, but her name was honestly not the part he remembered about her the most.

The fact she was a pink pushy menace that Kirishima had to redirect to leave him alone stood out much more.

Unfortunately, 'Mina' was also in the same class as them, at least she was easily distracted by introducing herself to the majority of their new classmates.

And while he wouldn't say it, he was kind of glad to see Uraraka had also got in and was going to be in the same class as him.

It had nothing to do with how she reacted when she came out from under his quirk and didn't freak out at him.

Totally unrelated.

Especially since Hitoshi was certain that she reacted so positively to his quirk was because of the life-or-death situation they were in when he used it on her.

Kirishima would definitely argue with him if he said that out loud though, which was nice that his friend thought so nicely of his quirk, but Hitoshi knew very well from experience that it was better to be prepared for the hate he'd get for his quirk.

After all these years of watching how people immediately changed once they knew what his quirk was, he severely doubted that people would ever react differently to him.

Kirishima and Uraraka didn't count.

Kirishima was more like a puppy than a person and Hitoshi was fifty-percent sure Uraraka had a few screws loose.

Having 'Deku-Sensei' as their teacher did not elevate his thoughts either, Hitoshi knew that Kirishima really liked the guy the few times he talked about him, but the baby-faced man honestly didn't inspire a lot of confidence in Hitoshi.

Even if the guy understood quirkism because of whatever anti-aging quirk situation he had going on, Deku-Sensei seemed more like the kind of guy that liked to hand-wave stuff by having everyone apologize to each other and then shake hands.

What else was he supposed to think when he let that Iida guy start hassling him?

"Hey bro, you okay?" Kirishima asked bumping Hitoshi's side having noticed Hitoshi was spacing out given he had stopped getting dressed.

"Hn." Hitoshi responded.

"This about the Quirk test?" Kirishima guessed, Hitoshi hated how well Kirishima could read him sometimes.

"Bro, don't worry about it, we'll both do good I'm sure of it." Kirishima promised him.

That was not what Hitoshi was worried about; he could still appreciate the sentiment, but Hitoshi just hated the thought of showing everyone just what his quirk was so soon.

They couldn't even wait until the next day, or even one class period to force Hitoshi to show everyone exactly what his quirk was.

Walking out of the locker rooms in the provided P.E. uniform Hitoshi wasn't shocked to see that both the blonde guy and Uraraka were the first two of their class to make it to the P.E. grounds, nor that Deku-Sensei was waiting from them with a clip-board.

The second man standing besides Deku-Sensei was a surprise though, he looked like he hadn't had a good night's sleep since Hitoshi was born and the black jumpsuit and scarf was an odd but familiar choice of clothes.

Like very weirdly familiar in a way that Hitoshi couldn't place.

Frankly it wasn't until their group was lining up did it dawn on him just who the other man might be.

His dread over the test was bowled over by his excitement.

Hitoshi quietly but insistently tugged on Kirishima's shirt to get his attention, his friend turned to him confused and Hitoshi excitedly pointed to the hero by Deku-Sensei.

Kirishima looked confused and Hitoshi had to remind himself that Kirishima didn't know underground heroes like he did.

"That's Eraserhead." Hitoshi told him, almost at once Kirishima's eyes doubled in size and he whipped his head over to get another look at the hero with nothing short of the same awe that Hitoshi was currently feeling.

"Dude," Kirishima hissed under his breath "Do you think he teaches here too?" Kirishima suggested.

Hitoshi really hoped that he did, the thought of learning directly from Eraserhead himself would absolutely make the social isolation completely worth it.

Before he could really think about how amazing that would be Hitoshi noticed that a second group of students was walking over towards them.

That was, weird, wasn't it? Hitoshi knew there would be joint classes, but he didn't think they'd be seeing the kids from 1-B so soon.

Hitoshi knew he wasn't the only one confused out of his classmates, and the group of kids he presumed were from 1-B were also uncertain of them being on the field too.

The sharp clap of Deku-Sensei brought all eyes to their teacher.

"Excellent job finding your way here, I'm glad to see that at least a few of you know of the student webpage." Deku-Sensei commented.

"Who the fuck are you?" one of the guys from 1-B questioned, a guy with scale-like eyelashes are his eyes and sharp teeth like Kirishima.

"Language Tetsutetsu," Eraserhead scolded with a glare.

"It's alright Aizawa-San," Deku-Sensei told Eraserhead, his smile not dipping.

"I am Midoriya Izuku, you'll call me Deku-Sensei and I'll be your quirk theory and practice teacher during your time here." Deku-Sensei explained to the second group.

"For those of you in my homeroom, this is Aizawa-San and he'll be your ethics and social studies teacher." Deku-Sensei further elaborated motioning to Eraserhead.

It took a lot to keep himself from bouncing like Kirishima usually did once he heard that Eraserhead actually was one of his teachers now.

"And now that everyone's here I think it's time to start roll call, and then we'll start the Quirk assessment test." Deku-Sensei told everyone before any more questions could be asked of him or why both classes were here.

It also reminded Hitoshi why he was worried before, and he felt even worse knowing that his quirk wouldn't just be exposed to his own class but all of the hero course students.

Well, there went the excitement of learning that Eraserhead was one of his teachers now.

"Yes?" Deku-Sensei asked looking towards one of the girls in 1-B since she had her hand raised.

"Apologizes Deku-Sensei, Aizawa-Sensei, but won't we miss a large part of orientation by taking this test now instead of later?" the red-headed girl inquired.

"Yes you will, however all of the information in the orientation speech along with the recording of this year's speech if you wish to review it can be found on the student page of U.A's website later." Deku-Sensei answered her.

"One of the first things you'll learn here is how precious your time is and that you shouldn't bother yourself with pointless events like orientation when there are more important things that you should be doing." Eraserhead pointedly remarked.

"Thank you senseis, I understand." the girl replied.

"I'll call out your names by seat order, when you hear your name called reply either verbally or by raising your hand, we'll flip a coin to see which of the two classes we'll start with." Deku-Sensei informed them.

Eraserhead pulled out a coin and flipped it, catching it in mid-air then turned to Deku-Sensei "Heads or tails?" Eraserhead questioned.

"Tails." Deku-Sensei said without much thought.

Eraserhead opened his hand and huffed.

"We'll start with 1-B then call for the kid in the same seat from 1-A, respond like Deku-San asked you when your name is called." Eraserhead instructed them.

"Tetsutetsu, Tetsutetsu?" Deku-Sensei called first, looking over to 1-B's group.

"Here." The same guy that questioned who Deku-Sensei was and had the scale-eyelashes responded.

Deku-Sensei marked that down.

"Shinsou Hitoshi?" Deku-Sensei called next looking over to 1-A, and Hitoshi merely raised his hand instead of choosing to speak.

Deku-Sensei marked him down as well then turned back to 1-B, calling for a tall guy named Kamakiri and since he'd already been called Hitoshi let the rest of roll call wash over him half listening, he wouldn't be able to remember all the names of both classes either way.

Kirishima bumped him when the last of the four were called to make sure he tuned back in to what was going on.

"All right, the quirk assessment test will not be that complicated, in fact you'll be doing the same tests you would for the physical fitness test that your middle schools gave you with the only change today being that you all are allowed to use your quirks in whatever way you think could help benefit your score." Deku-Sensei explained.

"Tsunotori, for the quirk assessment test will be doing the same physical fitness test you're used to, but you'll need to use your quirk if you think it'll help your score." Eraserhead repeated in English, must to Hitoshi's confusion.

"Bakugou, you finished at the top of the practical exam, correct?" Eraserhead questioned.

"Yes," the blonde guy that left with Uraraka answered.

"In middle school, what was your best result for the softball throw?" Eraserhead asked.

"Sixty-seven meters." The newly named boy 'Bakugou' replied.

"Come over to the pitch and use your quirk this time." Eraserhead instructed, tossing a softball at Bakugou.

Bakugou caught it and then walked over to the marked white pitch, then turned back and surprisingly in sign asked if there were any rules.

"Do whatever you want, just as long as you stay in the circle. Hurry up and give it all you've got." Eraserhead told him back crossing his arms.

'I'm going to use my quirk.' Bakugou signed back, not moving afterwards to throw.

"Those of you with enhanced hearing raise your hand, you will need hearing protection before Bakugou feels comfortable to continue. The rest of you should also cover your ears." Deku-Sensei requested.

A few hands were raised and pairs of ear muffs were passed out very quickly.

Once everyone was wearing the passed-out earmuffs Bakugou didn't hesitate to bring his arms up in the classic pitcher's throw and then once he threw the ball a large explosion coming from Bakugou's hands sent the ball soaring away.

Hitoshi's ears rang a little despite the fact he covered his ears.

"The country's refusal to allow you to use your quirks during your physical fitness test or even have a second test's results also recorded is completely irrational." Eraserhead told them.

"The world has changed since the Dawning, and to not factor your quirks into your physical test is short-sighted." Eraserhead spat.

"Thankfully, U.A. isn't as restrictive and gives allowances towards our personal teaching style, letting us form a much better understanding of your current foundation as future heroes." Deku-Sensei said in a much better mood.

Eraserhead looking at his phone once it beeped.

"Seven hundred and five, point two meters." Eraserhead informed everyone, a cheer coming from the shadow bird Uraraka was friends with.

Hitoshi could hear the other reactions of his classmates to the score.

"Seven hundred meters, seriously?" one of the blonde guys in their class said, the one without the tail or belt.

"Guys, this looks like so much fun!" Mina exclaimed at the same time Tetsutetsu shouted drowning most of the others out.

"Hell yeah, we're so going to crush this shit!"

Eraserhead's eye twitched "You think this will be fun?" Eraserhead growled out the question glaring at both classes.

Deku-Sensei meanwhile hummed.

"Hm, in that case," Deku-Sensei said turning back to them with his eyes closed and a large smile told them something Hitoshi did not expect to hear.

"Whoever comes last between all forty of you by the end of the test, will be expelled from the hero course and U.A."

Hitoshi didn't need to look around him to know that his classmates were shocked to hear such a thing come from their teacher, hell Hitoshi wouldn't have expected to hear that from Deku-Sensei considering how breezily he responded to Iida.

"You can't expel us on the first day, that's completely unfair!" someone protested, Hitoshi wasn't sure if it was 1-A or 1-B.

Eraserhead scoffed and side-eyed both of the classes as similar complaints rose up from other students.

"Unfair? What about natural disasters is fair? Or bombings? Did the terrorist attacks in the past sound fair to you?" Eraserhead questioned them with a stern glare.

Forcing many to be silent.

"Life isn't fair, you are here to learn to be heroes and deal with such situations, not attend ice cream socials at Mickey D's." Eraserhead scolded them.

While Hitoshi deeply agreed with that sentiment on many levels, he couldn't stop himself from feeling tense at the thought of being expelled.

"Our job as your teachers is to help guide you into being heroes." Deku-Sensei said calmly and a maybe a little coldly compared to how he spoke before.

"But we also have a duty of care to you all, and if at any point we deem that you would not be fit for the hero course, or heroics in general, then we shall transfer you out or expel you as we see fit." Deku-Sensei sternly told them.

"I am sure that most of you know that U.A. has the highest success rate for their graduating classes, as well as the lowest casualty rate for its students after graduation." Deku-Sensei reminded them.

Hitoshi had not, in fact, known that little tidbit.

"This is not just because our teaching style is different to other schools, but because we do not allow unfit students to stay in the hero course." Deku-Sensei pointedly told them.

"So, if you want to stay in the hero course and keep your place at U.A. show us that you deserve it, and overcome it with all that you've got." Eraserhead teasingly told them with a large toothy grin.

Hitoshi gulped.

He was in better shape than he used to be thanks to Kirishima, but his quirk would be of almost no use to him in a physical test and the thought of being expelled on his first day made Hitoshi want to throw up.

Hitoshi's body tensed up though when Deku-Sensei's eyes met his though.

"Now that that's settled, we'll do the tests in seat order as well, so Shinsou step up to the pitch." Deku-Sensei informed them.

Hitoshi really wished that he could disappear at that moment.
