AN: Alright folks. Time for another chapter of Love is a knightmare! Sorry for the long wait. I'm happy people are starting to like this new fanfic. However, I feel like I should address something. I've been getting messages about making my fanfic into a comic series by "Professional commission artists". Which is cool but I have no way of paying for that. So, unfortunately, I won't be agreeing on that. Furthermore, if anyone wanted to make this fanfic into a comic series for their own personal project, that's fine. Just don't ask for compensation because I'm not buying.

Without further delay, I hope you enjoy.

Chapter 9 Fierce fights and fierce nights

Deep in the dark territory there was a large den filled with a huge pack of werewolves. One of the werewolves stood out amongst the rest with his blood red fur coat. He walked over and laid down on the highest rock within the den. Suddenly a blue flame appeared and Bill revealed himself in front of this werewolf…

"My my what a kennel you have here Tor. Hahahaha" Bill laughed which only angered Tor as he tried attacking Bill but he evaded with ease.

"Why are you here demon?!" Tor snarled.

"To inform you about your latest pups being killed. Not once but twice in fact." Bill said while werewolves behind him were snarling but kept their distance from Bill.

"I already knew that! Don't forget demon, that I am a pack lord! All my children's sights are connected to me! Those humans don't even know the full extent of my power!" Tor shouted.

"So, you will take care of them for me?" Bill inquired with a devilish smile on his face.

Suddenly, Tor transformed to his human version of himself. His dark red fur became his hair on his head, his black claws became his nails, and his large red eyes became smaller. Calmly he walked over to another rock that was nearby to put on a raggedy robe and went back to his original rock to sit down.

"Know this demon… Right now, the only reason I would want to go after those weak humans would be to avenge my slain brethren. Other than that, you have nothing to offer me in my onslaught." Tor said.

"What about the people of Piedmont? There are enough people there to replenish your ranks. Once you have them, you will have an even larger army to overcome your first enemy…" Bill offered.

"…Veronica. That vampire bitch lived long enough! If she wasn't around, I would control all of the dark territory! All the other races would either bow or fall to me!...Fine! I will send my two best werewolves to deal with your pests. In return, you teleport my whole pack to Piedmont so we can perform the conversion. Where is your prey?!" Tor demanded.

"Oh, he's at the human territory near the north mountain. This one told me all about it. Hahahaha!" Bill laughed as he then teleported a frighten Mark Douglas in front of them.

"P-PLEASE! I told you everything! No more!" Mark shouted in fear while shaking uncontrollably.

"What did you do to him?" Tor asked.

"I played with him for a while in my dimension. After that, he told me where the Pine's boy was. Apparently, he's got a hold of the last dragon scale of the green dragon of wind. So, if you are to accept this deal, be sure your pups can handle this hunt. He will be different than any human you preyed upon." Bill said.

"Please! This won't be a problem. Gillard! Nezar!" Tor shouted and two massive werewolves came into view.

"These two are my strongest. In fact, they were both about to be candidates to become the next pack lord once I die but they will have to fight each other to the death once that day comes. So is our tradition with our pack. For now, they will find your little dragon boy. TRACK!" Tor ordered and both werewolves sniffed the terrified Mark to track his sent back to Dipper. Both then ran out of the den in pursuit.

"Very good. I hope to hear good news in the future." Bill said.

"This better not be a waste of my time demon! If you lied to me about the number of people I can use to bolster my pack, then I will tear you limb from limb!" Tor threatened.

"Don't worry doggie. As sign of good faith, I will give your family a gift. Hahaha!" Bill laughed as he grabbed Mark by the neck and tossed him into the heard of werewolves.

The werewolf pack tore and ripped apart the screaming Mark until he died…

Back with Dipper and Candy…

.

.

.

Both Dipper and Candy cautiously ventured into the dark cave within the mountainside. Neither could see inside the dark cavern but Candy found two tree branches earlier and wrapped them both with torn cloth for just the occasion. With a few strikes of a couple of rocks, she managed to make sparks fly onto one of the torches. Dipper then used the other one to collect the flame that formed on the first torch.

"We should hurry. These torches won't last long." Candy suggested.

"Agreed. Let's go." Dipper said as the two continued their expedition.

Deeper into the cave was eerily quiet. Despite this, both Dipper and Candy continued to look for the wolfsbane. However, after what felt like an hour into the cave, neither found the plant…

"Candy, I hate to say it but I don't think it's in here." Dipper said.

"Yeah, we should head back and-" Candy began to say until both were startled by loud roars within the cave.

"What was that!?" Candy panicked as she drew her sword along with Dipper.

"I don't know but we should go now!" Dipper said and they both ran.

Dipper and Candy ran back towards the entrance of the cave but whatever made those roars was fast approaching them from behind. Whatever was giving chase was close and Dipper took it upon himself to turn and face it. With his wind, Dipper used the dragon's power on the torch to spread the fire into the air. It was then, where both Dipper and Candy saw it…

"RRAAHHHH!" The multiple headed bear roared in anger as it was repelled by the flame.

"It's a magic beast!" Candy shouted.

"A what!?" Dipper asked but then the bear used a power that glowed from his claws.

The power exploded into the ground and sent Candy flying from the shockwave. However, Dipper fell into a hole the multi-bear made and the bear fell too. Screaming, Candy called for Dipper but didn't hear him from the hole…

"W-What should I do?!" Candy panicked.

With no way of following Dipper into the hole or knowing if there was another path within the cave, Candy had no choice but to race back on one of the horses. She didn't know what else she could do, so getting back to the others for help was the only option she could think of…

Meanwhile at the Magic Academy…

.

.

.

"Welcome to mana control class. I'm Professor Tracy Richards. Here, I will be measuring and guiding you all on the mana you have on your first day." Tracy said and Mabel looked around where she was sitting and saw it was only her and five others in this class.

"Question?" One girl asked as she rose her hand.

"Yes? Ms. Rebecca, I presume?" Tracy responded.

"Yes. I was wondering how you are going to measure our mana capacity? Isn't mana transferred into tools or weapons for magical uses? So, how can this be measured accurately?" Rebecca asked.

"An astute question. However, weapons and tools aren't the only way to use mana for magic. Yes, mages use wands, staves, and grimoires to conduct their magical spells. And yes, some magical warriors use their weapons to cast elemental attacks. However, here at the Magic Academy, we have our own ways of measuring mana and it is far more accurate and safer than to blindly pour your reserves which would lead to unconsciousness." Tracy explained.

"That's what happened to me back in Piedmont! I used too much mana when I casted all those spells and passed out. This class is perfect to understand to control what I can and can't do." Mabel thought as she continued to listen to the lesson.

"Now. I want you all to look at the table I have before you." Tracy said as she clapped her hands and a table appeared out of nowhere with items laid about on top.

"Wow she must have concealment magic!" One of the boys said.

"That's so awesome!" Another boy said.

Clearing her throat to regain the class's attention. Professor Tracy continued her explanation…

"Here we have three items to measure your mana. We use the hand-held mirror to see your magic affinity, the crystal ball to see your capacity, and the dark stone to see your quality. I will call each of you one by one to test your mana. Then, I will calculate your mana results and give you a number between one through ten. One being the lowest in magic you are able to control and ten being the highest of magic you can control. Afterwards, I will teach you the proper ways to control your magic." Tracy said which left the class eager to find out.

One by one, the class was being called up until all that was left was Mabel. So far, the highest in the class was Rebecca Edwards. She is also another daughter of a regional lord of the kingdom. However, she was smug and after hearing her magical number was eight, that was just another log on the fire.

"Lastly, is Ms. Mabel Pines of Piedmont." Tracy announced.

Mabel started walking but heard Rebecca quickly say in a low voice as she passed by: "Might as well give up now."

This irritated Mabel but she kept her cool as he continued walking up to the table. She first picked up the mirror and was ready to see what would happen. From what she saw from the other students, the mirror would either fog, freeze, get dirty, or do nothing. This was to show the types of magic one could peruse. However, as soon as Mabel grabbed the mirror…

"MY WORD!" Professor Tracy said as the mirror instantly shattered.

"W-What just happened?" Mabel asked as she began to panic.

"O-Oh no. Nothing my dear. I-It's probably just over used. I will fetch another for you another time. For now, continue your testing. Haha…" Professor Tracy nervously said which not only concerned Mabel but the rest of the class too.

Next, Mabel was to touch the crystal ball. Two out of the five others couldn't make the crystal ball glow but the other three did. When it did glow, the darker the color the more mana you possessed. Only one of the class, thus far, was able to make the crystal into a dark blue color and it was Rebecca. However, when Mabel touched it, the whole class gasped as they saw the crystal turn pitch black then broke in half.

"MY WORD!" Professor Tracy yelled in shock.

"I-I'M SO SORRY! I DIDN'T MEAN TO I-" Mabel said with fear as she backed away.

However, when she accidently touched the dark stone, which was to measure the quality, the stone burst into many pieces and they all went flying throughout the classroom. One piece almost hit Rebecca's face.

When the rest of the class touched the stone earlier, it either rocked or lost weight based on which student touched it. The two who failed the other two tests, didn't get a reaction out of the stone neither… But when it came to Mabel, she was the only one that left the whole class speechless. Before Mabel could say a word, the teacher grabbed her by the hand and took her out of the class. The rest of the class was left gossiping but Rebecca was infuriated. Because, like the teacher, she knew what was going on…

Back with Dipper…

.

.

.

Dipper finally woke up but saw he fell a long way down. Luckily, nothing was broken but he did have some bruises and a few cuts from the rocks he hit when falling. He couldn't see anything because it was pitch dark in the cave. The only thing he could see was the faint light way above him where the multi-bear made the hole. His thoughts immediately went to the multi-bear as he searched for where it could be. Sword in hand, Dipper kept his guard up for a potential attack. However, nothing but silence was all he heard…

"Last thing I remember, was falling when that magic beast made the hole. It fell with me and now I'm not sure if it survived or not. Just to be safe I better stay quiet while I search for a way out." Dipper thought as he carefully walked forward to try to find a wall.

With each step, Dipper's anxiety grew. Not only the multi-bear was here, but also other creatures could be lurking in this dark cavern. Dipper had to at least find a way make a light to see but doing so would also expose him to danger. However, given the circumstances, he had little choice. Plus, it would be better than not knowing what was coming for him if anything.

Suddenly, Dipper finally found a wall. This relieved him a little but now he must follow this wall until he can find an exit of sorts. Walking with one hand on the wall while the other had his sword ready, Dipper didn't know what would await him. It was not only dark but the air was getting colder too. Dipper didn't know where he was going until he foot hit something. Carefully, he reached down to touch what was on the floor in front of him…

"This…feels like clothing…" Dipper thought as he continued his hand up the clothing until it stopped.

Dipper was mortified as his heart was beating faster. His hand found its way to a skull and he pulled back quickly. He was shocked that someone died down here but didn't know when or who it was. Regardless, Dipper knew what to do now even though he didn't want to…

Dipper broke off a bone from the skeleton and used his sword to cut off the clothing. He wrapped the end of the bone with clothing to make a torch. Reaching around, Dipper finally found two stones to create sparks, then used a little of his dragon's wind to make a flame. Dipper finally had some light but then saw the horror before him.

"W-What is this!?" Dipper said out loud in fear.

Dead bodies were all over this stratum where Dipper ended up. Some were complete skeletons where others still had a little flesh on them but they were badly decayed. Dipper surmised this was the multi-bear's den but then also realized something which gave him a little hope…

"If they managed to get here, then there is a way out!" Dipper said loudly with joy.

However, he would quickly regret doing that as the roar of the multi-bear could be heard. Dipper hoped the bear didn't survive the fall but unfortunately, he would have to fight to survive…

.

Back with Mabel…

.

.

.

Mabel was told to wait outside the administration room until Professor Tracy was finished explaining the situation to the administrator who was in charge of the building where Mabel was supposed to have her classes. However, due to the fact she destroyed the mana testing items, Mabel felt a little unsure if she could continue her education here…

"We're ready for you now." Professor Tracy said once she came from the room and Mabel got up to follow.

Mabel walked into the room where the administrator was and she was bewildered by what she saw in the room. Some objects like books, measuring tools, and stones where floating in the air. On his wall was variety of books that kept on pulling themselves off the book shelf and reorganizing to different spots on the shelf. However, what really puzzled Mabel was the man before her that was the administrator. His hair color constantly kept changing over and over again. His eyes color was silver and his clothes were completely covered with bird feathers…

"Hello young lady. My name is Clouse. I am the administrator of this wing of the academy." Clouse said.

"N-Nice to meet you Sir Clouse. I'm Mabel Pines of Piedmont." Mabel greeted with a polite bow.

"Oh please. No need for the etiquette. I prefer that you act normal around me." Clouse said.

"O-Oh ok…" Mabel said.

"Young Mabel. Do you know why you are here right now?" Clouse said as he casually walked to his window in his room.

"Is it because…I damaged academy property?" Mabel asked.

"Partially yes. However, such trivial items can be replaced at any time… No. The main reason why Mrs. Tracy Richards brought you here was because of your mana. It far exceeds the normal students that get sent here because of their families or their backgrounds. Most of which just come here to get their credentials as mages for political or marketing reasons, which I'm sure you know or will find out. But I digress, your mana rivals most wizards or witches. Perhaps even an apprentice court witch…" Clouse said as he turned to face Mabel once again.

"Administrator Clouse! Surely you jest!" Tracy nearly shouted.

"I don't. Therefore, I am reassigning Ms. Mabel's curriculum. She will be placed in the advanced classes starting right now. Mana control is a must but your class won't be enough to guild her Mrs. Tracy. I hope you can understand." Clouse said.

"I-I have no objections…But do you think she will be able to handle his classes?" Tracy asked with hesitation.

"We'll find out soon enough. Mabel Pines." Clouse said as he turned his attention back to Mabel.

"Y-Yes?" Mabel answered.

"You will be assigned to new classes. However, majority of your studies will be in one particular class… Professor Lovicus Godfread. Or, as his nickname which he gave himself, Love God." Clouse said with minor annoyance.

"Love God?" Mabel inquired with confusion.

"It's a long and very uninteresting story. However, he's one of our best faculty members here at the academy. His education is only for the high potential students here. Most of the day you will be in his classes. However, you still need to take other classes as well. Such as, wardrobe manufacturing, tool comprehension, and voice channeling." Clouse said as he snapped his fingers which caused Mabel's schedule to fly out of her pocket and change the classes that were once there to the ones she will take now.

"Now go. Should you have any issues in your new classes, be sure to make an appointment with me to discuss any problems that would arise." Clouse said.

"T-Thank you…I guess." Mabel said as she took her leave.

After she left the room, the door behind her closed as she was alone. She was relieved that she didn't get expelled but now she was all little more nervous than she was before.

"Well…That happened. At least I still have a chance…But am I really going to do alright in this Love God's class? I guess only one way to find out…" Mabel thought as he headed towards her next class will be…

.

.

.

Meanwhile with Candy…

.

.

.

Candy finally reached the abandoned town but she pushed the horse passed its limit as the steed fell to the ground exhausted and foaming at the mouth. Candy felt bad but needed Bovard and the other's help…

"BOVARD!" Candy shouted as she quickly made it back to the inn.

"Lady Candy? What's the matter? Where is Sir Dipper?" Bovard asked as he approached the out of breath and panicked Candy.

"He's trapped! Back at the mountain, we were looking for the wolfsbane in a cave. Then, a magic beast attacked and separated us. Dipper fell in a hole made by the magic beast and now he's alone fighting for his life!" Candy nearly shouted and the others who were in Amanda's room came out after hearing the situation…

"We need to help!" Pacifica said as she and Grenda came down to the first floor.

"Let's go before it's too late!" Grenda chimed in.

"No!" Bovard yelled in defiance.

"B-But Sir Bovard!" Pacifica protested.

"Need I remind you, that you are this kingdom's princess!? We've risked your life too much already as it is! We will be staying here. Candy and Grenda can go to assist Sir Dipper if they wish. However, we only have five days left including today. Amanda's life is in the balance. Because if we aren't able to cure her before the next full moon, then she will become a werewolf. Before that happens, we will have no choice but to end her life…" Bovard said which left the room very quiet.

"Well, I refuse!" Pacifica shouted.

"It's not up for debate! Now this is it. Candy… Grenda… You both will have to go back and retrieve both Dipper and the wolfsbane…You have four days. On the fifth… Your time will be up." Bovard said.

"But the horse I rode back on is exhausted. How will we get back there in time?" Candy asked.

"I will use a recovery spell on the beast. I will also give you another magic scroll to teleport back to me since I assumed you weren't able to use the first one I gave you." Bovard said.

"Yes. The magic from the first one got drained out of the scroll. I'd tell you more but we really need to get Dipper back." Candy said.

"Agreed. Now take me to the horse." Bovard said as Candy led the way.

Bovard, Grenda, and Candy left the inn. However, Pacifica was forced to stay behind but she didn't like it… She knew she was the princess. She knew her place was away from danger. And yet…

.

.

.

"The recovery spell worked. Now, you two be careful and-" Bovard said until he was blindsided by Pacifica rushing passed them.

With one swift motion, Pacifica snatched the teleporting scroll from Candy's hand and jumped onto the horse. She then rode off as fast as she could before anyone had a chance to stop her…

"DAMN IT! That brazen, idiotic, stupid girl! After her!" Bovard shouted and Candy and Grenda ran as fast as they could on foot towards the direction the mountain but Pacifica on horseback was too fast for them to catch up…

Pacifica's daring action was also witnessed by the weak Amanda who saw the whole ordeal from the window. Despite how Bovard felt, Amanda couldn't help but smile…

Pacifica continued her path towards the mountain with only the bare minimum of essentials. Amanda's bow and quiver of arrows, two days worth of food, and the few potions she had left. She hoped it would be enough to help Dipper but she knew in her heart she couldn't continue without him by her side…

.

.

.

Deep in the mountain though, Dipper was fighting for his life…

"AH!" Dipper yelled as he repelled another strike from the multi-bear.

The torch he made fell from his hands from the first attack but the flame caught onto some of the bodies that the multi-bear gathered. The good news is the room was lighter now but the bad news was that now the cavern is filling up with smoke. If Dipper doesn't find a way out soon, the multi-bear or the smoke will kill him.

"RAWWRR!" The multi-bear roared as it got a clean swipe on Dipper which sent him flying.

Dipper hit the wall of the cave and made him cough up blood. It was hard enough for him to breath before with the smoke but with the bear's attack to his chest, it made it so much worse. Dipper struggled to stand but managed once he regained his balance. In this moment, Dipper saw something behind the multi-bear…

"THERE'S THE EXIT! If I can avoid the magic beast's attacks, I can run past him to the exit of this cavern. I'm sure if I use the dragon's wind, I can do it…but it's taking everything I have just to stand. One more attack from the bear and I'm as good as dead!" Dipper thought as he readied himself to rush pass the bear to escape.

With a burst from the dragon's wind, Dipper started sprinting. He planned on dodging the multi-bear's attack before it could hit him but before Dipper even got close, the beast used its magic attack once again. When the power from the bear's claws hit the floor, it blasted the ground and Dipper fell to the floor. Before he could get back up though, the multi-bear pounced onto Dipper's body giving him excruciating pain…

"AHHHHHH!" Dipper yelled as the weight was crushing his ribs.

Blood was pouring out of Dipper's mouth and eyes from the attack. Before Dipper knew though, multi-bear grabbed Dipper's left arm with one of its mouths as he tried to fight back. Screaming once again in pain, Dipper began to lose not only consciousness but hope to survive. However, before Dipper could give up, his right hand found his sword after he dropped it earlier.

In one furious motion, Dipper grabbed the sword and slashed with the dragon's wind once again. This time, the attack met its mark. Most of the heads of the multi-bear got cleaved off but despite this the bear was still alive. The beast wobbled off Dipper and staggered away but the blood that sprayed out of the multi-bear drained the animal. The beast then fell down and died. Dipper was relieved he survived but was serious injured from all the attacks that were inflicted on him.

With his one good arm, Dipper struggled to get up. He used his sword as cane to walk with as he limped towards the cavern's exit. He knew that it wasn't the mouth of the cave since he fell into a lower stratum but at least he didn't have to worry about the multi-bear any more.

Dipper's sight was getting blurry and his breathing was getting harder with each painful breath. It felt like his ribs were broken and his body was heavy when he staggered towards the way out. The exit led to an incline within the cave. Meaning, Dipper could make it into the next level of the cave. However, the pain was too much and Dipper fell to the ground. Wounded, hurt, and exhausted, he couldn't move anymore and he just laid on the ground suffering…

"Is this it?... Am I going to die down here?... Everything… is… going… dark." Dipper thought as he went into unconsciousness.

"Do you wish to live?" The voice from the dragon, Fulwin, said to Dipper in his dream.

"Live? How?" Dipper weakly asked in the dream.

"My blood. Even though it's not physically in existence anymore, the magic within my power can change your blood into mine." Fulwin said.

"W-What will happen?" Dipper asked cautiously.

"With the magic from my blood…It can restore your body and heal your grievous wounds. However, there is something you should know. This restorative power doesn't come without cost…" Fulwin explained.

"What do you mean?" Dipper asked but wasn't liking where this was going…

"The ones that use the dragon's blood repeatedly will change their internal structures. Meaning, after three or more times of using my blood, you won't be human anymore…" Fulwin warned.

"…What will I become?" Dipper hesitantly asked.

"A dragonkin." Fulwin simply said.

"Dragonkin?" Dipper inquired.

"Yes. Centuries ago, dragonkin was a race that came from all other races that used dragon blood for their benefit. They even had their own nation… Sadly, their arrogance led to their downfall." Fulwin said.

"What happened?" Dipper asked.

"Dragonkin led a worldwide war with their powers as their weapons. However, the blood within them poisoned their minds over time. Which led to them becoming more like feral beasts than a species with common sense. During this epidemic, the dragonkin were slain by the remaining races on the planet. To this day, I have not known or heard of any more dragonkin being created." Fulwin said.

"…If that's the case, then I don't want to use your blood yet." Dipper said.

"How will you survive then?" Fulwin inquired.

"I will find a way. I appreciate the warning though. Thank you Fulwin." Dipper said as the dream came to an end and Dipper woke up.

"…I got to get out of here." Dipper struggled to say as he pushed himself back up to further escape the cavern…

.

.

.

Pacifica made it to the mountain but didn't see the cave especially since it was dark now. Regardless, she was determined to find Dipper no matter what. She followed the mountain until she came across the wagon Dipper and Candy took from the bandits. However, she didn't know anything about that since Candy didn't tell her but that didn't matter since she saw the mouth of the cave. She assumed that this was the cave Candy spoke of but she didn't want to go in without a light. The wagon had some lanterns within it. So, Pacifica took one and lit the lantern with one of her matches she had on her that she used for her alchemy. It wasn't a lot of light but it was better than nothing. She had to be careful though…

"Considering what Candy said, there is a magic beast in here. I have this animal repellant that I've been saving just in case I needed it. Looks like this might be the time…" Pacifica thought as she held the vial tightly in her hand while holding the lantern in the other.

Step by step, Pacifica cautiously walked into the cave. Her foot accidently kicked a loose rock on the floor and made a noise when it hit the cave wall. Suddenly, hundreds of bats swarmed out of the cave from the sound and scared Pacifica a little to where she crouched in fear. When it was over though, she recomposed herself…

"I can't let stupid bats scare me. Dipper would be braver than that and if I'm going to make him my knight someday, I can't be afraid and show weakness!" Pacifica said to herself.

Suddenly, she saw the huge hole that was made by the multi-bear. It was large but there was enough room on the side of the cave to carefully shuffle herself across. So carefully she put the vial of beast repellant away in her bag on her hip and hugged the wall of the cave.

Each step was slow and nerve wrecking. However, she tried her best to stay calm…

Without warning, a large chunk of the ledge broke when she made her next step. Pacifica almost lost balance but managed to keep herself from falling. Breathing heavily and sweating nervously with fear, Pacifica moved even slower to try and get across. Once she finally made it though, it was apparent that Dipper and her wouldn't be able to go back this way. They would either have to find another way out or use the magic scroll that she took to teleport them both back to Bovard.

"I hope I can find Dipper soon…" Pacifica said as she continued her trek into the dark cave.

However, a few miles away from the cave, the two werewolves, Gillard and Nezar, were on the hunt for Dipper. Both stopped at the spot where both Dipper and Candy were taken away by the bandits…

"Boy was here!" Nezar snarled.

"This way!" Gillard roared and both dashed towards the mountain.

.

.

.

Candy and Grenda tried their best to catch up with Pacifica on foot but were very exhausted from running. What's worse, it was night now and both ran out of water rations. Visibility was bad but neither could see the mountain so they didn't know if they were even close or not…

"I hate to say it Candy…but we have to head back." Grenda said while trying to catch her breath.

"What about Dipper and the princess?!" Candy asked.

"We will have to explain to Bovard we couldn't reach them. Even if we continued on, we might not make it without water. We would be dead weight before we even reach the mountain." Grenda argued.

"I guess you're right…" Candy defeatedly said.

"Hopefully that princess will use the scroll she took from us to get herself and Dipper back." Grenda said.

"I'm just worried…Y-You know how I feel about Dipper." Candy said while blushing.

"I know girl. Just have a little faith. They will come back." Grenda said.

"Yeah." Candy agreed as the two walked back towards the abandoned town…

.

.

.

Dipper struggled with each step he took to further his exit. However, his breathing was getting shallower and his blood kept on trickling down his body. Pain wasn't the only feeling Dipper felt. Coldness overcame his body as well but it wasn't because of the cave being deep underground. Dipper's loss of blood from his grievous injuries was causing his body to go into a hypovolemic shock. He also didn't bring any of the flame from where he fought the multi-bear. So, he didn't have any thing to make his body warmer or any light to help his accent.

Dipper began to think about all those he would leave behind if he wasn't going to make it. His father, David… His twin sister, Mabel… His good friends, Candy and Grenda… And someone he's started to grow fond of…Pacifica…

Suddenly, Dipper fell to the ground once again but this time he wasn't getting back up. His body was shutting down and was fading fast. He did have the option to use Fulwin's blood but that thought was furthest from his mind. Pain, cold, hunger, and fatigue was overpowering Dipper so he couldn't think of anything else…

"Dipper!" A faint yell called for him.

Dipper looked up with his head and saw a light…

"Dipper!" The voice yelled again but the voice seemed familiar to him.

"M-mother?" Dipper weakly said as he thought he was going to see her again.

But before he could really see who it was, Dipper passed out…
