Eddy vs Guzma: Round Two
The group enter the room and look around; they see a large king-sized bed, a shelf with bottles on it, a few knick-knacks, and sitting on a purple-cushioned seat at the back of the room, looking at them, was Guzma himself.
"I was hoping to see you again, Eddy." said Guzma.
"Want to get your butt kicked again?" replied Eddy.
"Things are going to be different this time." said Guzma.
"You mean I'll beat you even harder than before?" replied Eddy, making Guzma frown. Edd then notices another Team Skull member nearby and sees that the stolen Yungoos was right behind him.
"We've come for that Pokemon you took from the Aether House!" said Edd.
"Oh, isn't that nice?" retorted Guzma. "Came all the way here and battled your way to me to get back Yungoos there?"
"You better believe it, buster!" said Sarah.
"Give it back!" shouted Ed. Edd then notices a chest behind the Team Skull member also; when he gets a better look, he notices it was full of light green Z-Crystals.
"What are you doing with all those?" asked Edd, making Guzma look at the chest.
"You mean the Buginium-Zs?" replied Guzma. "Just a little collection I've started. I mean, why should people who have Z-Rings be the only ones who can use the ultimate bug type move when I can't?"
"You don't have a Z-Ring?" asked Eddy.
"If I did, don't you think I would've used it during our first match?" replied Guzma.
"I guess that makes sense." said Eddy.
"Well, back to the reason you brats came here." said Guzma as he looks at the Yungoos that was curled up in fear. "If you want that little runt, then you'll have to beat me in a Pokemon battle!"
"Oh, is that all?" replied Eddy with a smirk as he pulls a pokeball off his waist.
"I'm stronger than last time!" said Guzma. "You will bow before me when I'm done with you!"
"I doubt it." said Eddy.
"That's it, it's go time!" shouts Guzma as he takes out a pokeball from his pocket and throws it, releasing a Pinsir; Eddy throws his pokeball, releasing his Noibat.
"Okay, Noibat; use Screech!" shouts Eddy. Noibat releases a high-pitched shriek from her mouth which hits Pinsir, lowering its defense.
"Pinsir, use Vital Throw!" shouts Guzma. Pinsir lunges at Noibat and uses its mandibles to grab her and tosses her to the ground, not doing a lot of damage.
"Noibat, use Wing Attack!" shouts Eddy. Noibat flies at the Pinsir and strikes it with one of her wings, doing super effective damage.
"Don't let that runt beat you! Use Brick Break!" shouts Guzma. Pinsir swings one of its arms down onto Noibat, making her crash to the ground, but also not doing a lot of damage.
"Use Roost!" said Eddy. Noibat perches onto Guzma's bed, wraps her wings around her body, and starts taking in energy to heal herself.
"Hurry and use Vise Grip!" shouts Guzma. Pinsir lunges at Noibat and grabs her with its mandibles.
"Break free and use Air Cutter!" shouts Eddy. Noibat squirms loose from Pinsir's clutches and flaps her wings, releasing blades made of air at Pinsir, doing super effective damage to it, along with knocking it out.
"NOOO!" shouts Guzma.
"Ha! You'll have to do better than that!" said Eddy.
"You cocky little..." said Guzma as he returns his Pinsir to its pokeball; he then puts it back in his pocket and pulls out another one; he throws it, releasing his Masquerain. The eye-shaped markings on its wings glowed red, making a menacing appearance that makes Noibat nervous, lowering her attack.
"That Intimidate ability is quite troublesome." said Edd.
"Masquerain, use Ice Beam!" shouts Guzma. Masquerain fires off a beam of light blue energy at Noibat, hitting her, doing super effective damage, and knocking her out.
"Poor Noibat." said Jimmy.
"Don't give up, Eddy!" shouts Ed.
"I won't." said Eddy as he returns Noibat to her pokeball. "Rest up, girl."
"Isn't that nice?" asked Guzma. "Being nice to a Pokemon after it got beat?"
"She beat your Pinsir, didn't she?" Eddy replied. Guzma growls in response. Eddy puts Noibat's pokeball away, then pulls out another one and throws it, releasing his Vikavolt.
"Oh, so it's a battle of the bugs, is it?" asked Guzma.
"Yeah, and I know Vikavolt will be the one to win!" said Eddy. "Vikavolt, use Thunderbolt!" Vikavolt fires off a jolt of electrcity from his mandibles, hitting Masquerain, doing super effective damage; it starts to twitch uncontrollably.
"It seems that Masquerain is paralyzed." said Edd.
"Masquerain, use Air Slash!" shouts Guzma. Masquerain tries to do so, but paralysis kicks in, stopping it from attacking.
"Vikavolt, use Air Slash!" said Eddy. Vikavolt flaps his wings repeatedly, releasing blades of wind at Masquerain that hit it, and do enough super effective damage to knock it out.
"Nice one, Eddy!" said Maxiley.
"What else you got?" asked Eddy. Guzma growls fiercely as he returns his Masquerain to its pokeball.
"I'm not beaten yet!" shouts Guzma. He puts Masquerain's pokeball back into his pocket, then pulls out another one and throws it, releasing his strongest Pokemon, Golisopod.
"Bring it on!" said Eddy.
"You got it, kid!" said Guzma. "Golisopod, use Toxic!" Golisopod releases a spray of toxic vapor at Vikavolt, hitting him; he the starts to look ill.
"Vikavolt's poisoned, Eddy!" said Edd.
"My Vikavolt can beat that!" said Eddy. "Right, pal?" Vikavolt nods and uses his willpower to force the poison out of his body.
"You gotta be kidding me!" said Guzma.
"Our bond with our Pokemon is strong enough to handle anything you throw at them!" shouts Jimmy.
"What a load of nonsense!" said Guzma.
"Says you, ya fathead!" shouts Sarah.
"Vikavolt, use Spark!" shouts Eddy. Vikavolt's body becomes coated in electricity as he charges at Golisopod, ramming it, and doing super effective damage.
"Golisopod, use Razor Shell!" shouts Guzma. A blade of water comes out of one of Golisopod's claws and he slashes Vikavolt with it.
"Time to bring out the big guns!" said Eddy as he holds out his Z-Ring, shocking Guzma.
"Oh no! Not a Z-Move!" shouts Guzma. Eddy takes his Electrium-Z Crystal and places it into his Z-Ring; he then does the poses that Sophocles showed him, making Z-Energy flow out of his body into Vikavolt, making the Z-power symbol appear in front of him.
"Golisopod, use Protect!" shouts Guzma. Golisopod crosses its arms in front of itself, making a green barrier appear.
"Vikavolt, use Gigavolt Havoc!" shouts Eddy. Vikavolt forms a giant ball of electricity and launches it at Golisopod; the attack collides with its barrier.
"Ha! You can't touch my Pokemon with that move!" said Guzma with a smirk. Suddenly, the barrier starts to crack, shocking Guzma.
"Not even Protect can stop the full power of a Z-Move." said Edd. Golisopod's barrier breaks apart, allowing Vikavolt's attack to continue forward and hits its intended target, doing super effective damage, and making the room fill with smoke.
"Golisopod!" shouts Guzma. When the smoke cleared, Golisopod was charred as it topples forward to the floor, unconscious.
"We win!" cheered Eddy. Vikavolt flies over to Eddy who rubs his head.
"Eddy's the man!" said Ed.
"I knew he would win." said Edd. Guzma slumps to the floor before returning his Golisopod to its pokeball.
"This isn't over, kid!" said Guzma. He then looks over at the Team Skull member that was in the room with him. "Give them the stupid Yungoos back and let's get out of here!"
"Okay, boss!" said the Team Skull member as he steps aside to let the Yungoos run over to the group. He and Guzma run out of the room.
"That takes care of them." said Eddy. He then looks over at the chest of Buginium-Z Crystals and walks over to it.
"Should we each grab one?" asked Edd.
"It would be wrong to just let them all go to waste just sitting in here." said Eddy.
"And it's selfish of Guzma to keep all of them for himself if he's not going to even use them." said Edd. Each member of the group each take a Buginium-Z crystal from the chest.
"How do you use these?" asked Ed.
"I don't know." said Edd.
"Too bad Guzma ran away like a wuss before we could ask." said Sarah.
"Maybe we'll find someone who'll know how to use them?" suggested Jimmy.
"Hopefully." said Eddy.
"Let's return Yungoos to the Aether House." said Edd.
"All right; let's go, gang." said Eddy.
The group has rescued Yungoos from Team Skull. What else awaits them as their Alola adventure continues?
Meanwhile, at Verdant Cavern, Eddy's brother walks out of the cave with a smug look on his face; Ilima was waiting with his arms crossed.
"Well, it took you three tries, but you finally defeated the Totem Pokemon." said Ilima.
"I'll bet it took pipsqueak longer than it did me." said Eddy's brother.
"Your brother defeated the Totem Pokemon on his first try." replied Ilima, making a shocked look appear Eddy's brother's face. "Anyway, I noticed you don't have a Z-Ring on you; so, I'll just give you ten Great Balls." He gives Eddy's brother ten Great Balls.
"Sweet." replied Eddy's brother. He walks away and begins walking towards the Pokemon Center.
