Meeting with Iscan
The Galaxy Team's Survey Corps are currently walking down Ginkgo Landing on their way to Aipom Hills to seek the assistance of Iscan of the Diamond Clan to find the Pokemon, Basculegion, which will help them get to Firespit Island.
"Where is this Iscan guy again?" asked Lynn.
"Palina said he lives in a place called Aipom Hills." said Lori.
"Let's go then." said Luan.
"But I want to survey all the different kinds of Pokemon that live here in the Cobalt Coatlands." said Lisa.
"Yeah, me too." said Lincoln.
"I'll stay here with you and help gather data for the pokedex." said Professor Laventon.
"Me, too." said Akari as she looks at Lincoln.
"I guess we don't need all of us to talk to Iscan." said Lori. "I'll go on and bring Lily with."
"I'll come with you, Lori." said Luan.
"Me, too." said Lola.
"I'm with you also, Lori." said Leni.
"Same goes for me." said Luna.
"I'll come with you too, Lori." Lucy says from behind her oldest sister, startling her.
"Don't do that!" said Lori.
"I can't help it." said Lucy.
"I want to come along also." said Lola. "I might see some cute Pokemon along the way."
"I want to train up my Pokemon for a bit." said Lynn.
"Me, too." said Lana.
"Same here." said Lincoln.
"I do also in case those Miss Fortune Sisters confront us again." said Lisa.
"I'll bet Lincoln wouldn't mind seeing Clover again." said Luan with a smirk, making Lincoln blush.
"Let's just take care of our business here in the Cobalt Coastlands." said Lincoln.
While Lori, Leni, Luna, Luan, Lucy, Lola, and Lily were heading over to where Iscan is located; the rest of the Loud siblings get to work on training their Pokemon while collecting data for the pokedex.
During the training; Lynn's Dartrix learned Leaf Blade, Onix got stronger, and her Machoke learned Double-Edge.
After Dartrix's training, he froze up and started to glow.
"Check it out." said Lynn. "Dartrix's evolving!"
Everyone watched as Dartrix started to change before their eyes; when he was done, he was a humanoid bird Pokemon with brown winglike arms, the feathers were orange and red on its head circled around the top half of his head and looked like a hat, the feathers on his torso and longer legs were white, and his feet had sharp talons coming out of them.
"What's Dartrix now?" asked Lincoln.
"I believe he's a Decidueye now." said Professor Lavento. "And my data also states that he's part grass and part fighting type now; he also learned Rock Smash."
"Sweet!" said Lynn.
"What do you mean by 'sweet'?" asked Lana.
"I don't know; it just came out." said Lynn.
Lincoln's Typhlosion learned Infernal Parade, his Luxray learned Wild Charge, his Floatzel learned Crunch and Aqua Tail, his Parasect learned X-Scissor, and his Gallade learned Swords Dance.
Lisa's Pikachu and Porygon both learned Thunderbolt, her Wyrdeer learned Extrasensory, and her Kleavor learned Stone Axe.
Lana's Mothim learned Psychic, her Monferno learned Flamethrower , her Snorlax learned Zen Headbutt, her Shellos learned Earth Power, her Croagunk learned Poison Jab, and her Stunky got stronger.
After Shellos' training, he began to glow.
"Guys; now Shellos is evolving." said Lana. Everyone watched as her Shellos began to grow. When he stopped glowing, he was bigger, he was brown with a pink underside, a pair of large tentacles on his head, and had two lumps on its back.
"What's Shellos now?" asked Lynn.
"Lana's Shellos has evolved into Gastrodon." said Lisa.
"This will help add more knowledge to the pokedex." said Professor Laventon as he writes more information into the tome.
"Yeah!" cheered Lana.
"The two new evolutions will go a long way towards adding more knowledge to the pokedex." said Lisa.
"Let's take a rest for a bit." said Lincoln.
"Yeah, good idea." said Lana.
While Lynn, Lincoln, Lana, and Lisa, along with their Pokemon, rested; the other Loud siblings were continuing on towards their destination.
Along the way, they trained up their Pokemon while making sure to take notes of certain details to help Lisa and Professor Laventon with the pokedex.
Lori's Staravia learned Brave Bird, her Beautifly learned Air Slash, her Vespiquen learned Slash and Air Slash, and her Spheal learned Ice Beam.
During Lori's training of her Pokemon, Staravia and Spheal both started to glow.
"Wow!" said Lori. "My Pokemon are, literally, evolving!" They all watch as Lori's Pokemon started to change; when they were done, Lori's Staravia was bigger, and the plumage on front of his head grew and was red-tipped; her Spheal's body was bigger, longer, was a lighter shade of blue, and she had a pair of fan-like whiskers on her face.
"What are they now?" asked Luan.
"We'll need to ask Lisa or Professor Laventon next time we see one of them." said Luna.
Leni's Dewott learned Aqua Tail, her Espeon learned Calm Mind, her Buneary learned Play Rough, her Budew learned Poison Jab, and her Vulpix learned Extrasensory.
During Leni's training, her Dewott, Buneary, and her Budew all began to glow.
"Guys; my Pokemon are, like, evolving." said Leni. Her Pokemon began to change shape; when they stopped, Dewott now stood on four feet, she was now a darker shade of blue, she had a light blue underside, she had black, shell-like armor on her head, limbs, and her fin-like tail, and had long white whiskers coming from her snout and lower jaw.
Buneary was now taller, her ears were longs, she had cream-colored puffs around her wrists, long tufts of cream colored fur above her eyes, and a short round tail.
Budew now had arms with a red rose on the end of her right arm and a blue rose on the end of her left arm, a light green head with three green thorns on top of it, and a green leaf skirt going down the front of her.
"This is, totes, amazing." said Leni. "I wish Lisa or Professor Laventon were here so they could tell me what they are."
"We'll see them soon enough." said Lori.
Lily's Bibarel learned Swords Dance, her Staravia learned Brave Bird, her Beautifly got stronger, her Geodude got stronger, her Cherrim learned Sleep Powder, and her Teddiursa learned Play Rough.
During Lily's training, her Staraiva and Geodude began to glow.
"Staravia, Geodude evolving." said Lily. Staravia and Geodude both began to grow; when they stopped, Lily's Staravia looked like Lori's recently evovled Staravia, and Geodude was not just bigger, he had a pair of legs, and two pairs of arms.
"What's Geodude now?" asked Luan.
"Don't know; we'll ask Lisa." said Lori.
Luan's Staravia learned Brave Bird, her Dustox learned Extrasensory, and her Mr Mime learned Psychic.
During Luan's training, her Staravia evolved and now resembled Lori and Lily's evolved Staravias.
Luna trained her Pokemon until her Staravia learned Brave Bird, her Dustox learned Extrasensory, her Kricketune learned X-Scissor, her Sneasel learned Swords Dance, and her Skorupi got stronger.
And like Lori, Lily, and Luan's Staravias, Luna's Staravia also evolved.
Lola's Ponyta learned Fire Blast, her Sylveon learned Calm Mind, her Happiny learned Soft-Boiled, her Teddiursa, which knew Tackle, Baby-Doll Eyes, Bulldoze, and Slash; learned Play Rough, and her Glameow learned Play Rough.
"You might want to take it easy on your Teddiursa's training, Lols." said Luna. "You don't want to risk her becoming an Ursaring."
"Perish the thought." said Lola after she shuddered.
Lucy's Drifloon learned Extrasensory, her Kadabra learned Recover, her Crobat learned Air Slash, her Haunter learned Dark Pulse, her Murkrow learned Air Slash, and her Umbreon learned Dark Pulse.
They soon reached a cliffside and see a path going up it; they also see several purple monkeylike Pokemon with tails that looked like they had hands on the ends of them.
"What are those?" asked Lori.
"I don't know, but I'm liking the purple." said Luna.
"Gonna catch it?" asked Lori.
"Sure, I wouldn't mind having another Pokemon on my team." said Luna. She pulls out a pokeball and tosses it, releasing her Skorupi. One of the monkey Pokemon notices Skorupi and goes into a battle stance. It charges at Skorupi with incredible speed and rams him, knocking him back.
"I, literally, think that was Quick Attack." said Lori.
"Skorupi, use Swords Dance!" Skorupi crosses his arms and he glows; his attack strength increases. The monkey Pokemon swings its tail and releases a barrage of stars from it and they hit Skorupi, knocking him back.
"Skorupi, use Cross Poison!" said Luna. Skorupi lunges at the monkey while his pincers glowed purples and slashes the monkey Pokemon with them; it turned purple under the monkey Pokemon's eyes.
"Looks like that Pokemon's poisoned." said Luan. The monkey Pokemon leaps at Skorupi and hits him twice with its tail, knocking him to the ground; he gets back up. "Skorupi, Venoshock!" Skorupi fires purple darts from the pincer of his tail and they hit the monkey Pokemon, dealing a lot of damage to it and knocking it to the ground. Luna takes out an empty pokeball and throws it at the Pokemon, hitting it and sucking it in; it wiggled a few times until a firework shoots up from it.
"Yeah! I caught a new Pokemon!" cheered Luna.
"When we meet up with Professor Laventon or Lisa, we'll find out what that Pokemon is called." said Lori. Luna returns Skroupi to its pokeball and the group continue up the cliffside; they eventually reach a small lone hut.
"Do you think that's Iscan's place?" asked Leni.
"I think so." said Lori. "I don't see any other place around here." She and the others walk up to the front door and knock on it.
"Do...do I have a visitor?" a male voice calls out from inside. "I-I'll be right out... Give me a moment." A few seconds later, a muscular man with dark skin with shaved blue hair on the back of his head, wearing a Diamond Clan Warden outfit with its sleeves rolled up, a cylindical case on his back, and black and red boots.
"Are you Iscan?" asked Lori.
"Yes, I am." replied the man, now identified as Iscan. He notices the Celestical Flute in Luna's hand. "A Galaxy Team member...with a Celestical Flute?"
"You bet." replied Luna.
"Do you need anything from me?" asked Isacan.
"Yeah; we need to do a survey of Firespit Island." replied Lori. "We were told we need the help of a Pokemon called Basculegion and we were told you could help us with that."
"Well, if you need Basculegion's help, you'll need its favorite snack; that should help him warm up to you." said Iscan. "But, preparing his favorite...oh...it's, um, more than a little difficult, more like an impossibly high hurdle...or...really...just impossible, if I'm being honest."
"How is it impossible?" asked Lori.
"I-I'll tell you...I have the right material, but..." Iscan began to say. "But then you...well, you see, the next part is something I could never manage, but you need to catch this one Pokemon that appears at night."
"What is it?" asked Lucy from beside Iscan, startling him.
"Y-Y-You really want to know? You...really don't value your own life, do you?" asked Iscan with a surprised tone.
"We do, but we really need to get to Firespit Island." said Lori.
"Very well." said Iscan. "The Pokemon you need is a D-D-Dus-Dusclops; oooh, even saying its name fills me with dread. So...the material for the food...have to be imbued with Dusclops's Dark Pulse."
"We'll do it." said Lori.
"W-Wow, is everyone in the Galaxy Team like you?" asked Iscan.
"Pretty much." replied Lori.
"Your nerves aren't just steel...they're...titanium." said Iscan.
"Well, we hate to brag." said Lori with pride.
"It's frightening how brave you all are." said Iscan. "D-Dus...Agh, I can't say it...Well, the Pokemon I need has only one eye and can be found wandering around Deadwood Haunt."
"Sounds like my kind of place." said Lucy.
"In your map, Deadwood Haunt looks like a hand." said Iscan. "You'll know you're there when you find the wrecked boats. I-I try hard to avoid those one-eyed Pokemon, and so now I know a lot about them, you see."
"Okay, we'll try to find one of these Pokemon, capture it, and bring it to you." said Lori.
"You are truly brave." said Iscan. The Loud sisters begin walking back down the path.
The Galaxy Team Survey Corps now have a new mission; find the one eyed Pokemon in Deadwood Haunt so they can use it to make Basuclegion's favorite food so he can help them get to Firespit Island. Will they succeed? Wait and find out.
