Welcome to Crown Tundra
At a train station, Lincoln and his sisters and friends step out of a train, dressed in their winter attire.
"Well, everyone, here we are; the Crown Tundra." said Lincoln.
"What kind of Pokemon do you think we'll find here?" asked Clyde.
"Let's stop standing around and go find out." said Lana. The group walks out of the train station and found themselves looking at a field covered in snow.
"It beautiful." said Lola in awe. Lincoln puts up the map app of his Rotom Phone.
"Okay, this area of the Crown Tundra is called Slippery Slope." said Lincoln.
"Let's go find out what Pokemon are here." said Ronnie Anne.
"Come on, Dad; lay off and quit following me already!" they hear a girl yell. They look to see a girl with blonde hair with pink tips that had a light blue hairband over it, wearing a dark blue jacket over a white shirt, a dark blue skirt over black leggings, a short red tie with a white stripe, and beige shoes. Clyde blushes at the sight of the girl; she was being chased by a man with dark skin with a short black beard, wearing a red-orange parka over a red shirt, red orange pants, green and gray shoes, gray and green gloves, a green backpack, and a dark gray mining helmet.
"I'm gonna go on a Dynamax Adventure in the Max Lair, and I don't need you breathing down my neck!" shouts the girl. "I'm here to battle loads and loads of rare Dynamax Pokemon!"
"Rare Dynamax Pokemon?" said Clyde. The man lets out a loud laugh.
"Don't you fret!" said the man. "I know somewhere way more fun than that musty old place. Get ready for loads of quality time with the coolest dad ever!"
"What a generous and totally unwanted offer!" said the girl. "'Fraid I've got to say no thanks!"
"Come on, Nia; be reasonable or get ready to be ultra-mega-embarrassed as I unleash the Noble Roar of Dad!" exclaimed the man.
"I'll take a hard pass on that, thanks!" exclaimed the girl.
"Wow, and I thought my dads were overbearing." said Clyde. Hearing Clyde, the girl turned towards him and the rest of the Loud Crowd.
"Hey! You're the Loud Crowd, aren't you?" the girl asked the group.
"You know about us?" asked Lola.
"Who doesn't?" asked the girl. "My name is Peonia."
"Nice to meet you." said Clyde.
"Could you do something for me?" asked Peonia.
"What?" asked Lana.
"My dad is stubborn as steel , and he won't leave me alone." said the girl, now known as Peonia. "Back me up, would you?"
"Hold on, kids; can't say I approve of you all buttin' in, blindly." said the man. "But if I give one of you a trouncin', this young lady here ought to see reason."
"I hope you mean in a Pokemon battle." said Clyde.
"Of course; by the way, I'm Peony." said the man, now identified as Peony. "So, which of you will I be battling."
"I will." said Clyde, stepping forward.
"Brace yourself; I'm pretty ferocious in battle." said Peony.
"We're not pushovers ourselves, bucko!" said Lola.
"Ask any of the Galar gym leaders, dude." said Luna.
"How many Pokemon are we using?" asked Clyde.
"How does two per trainer sound?" asked Peony.
"Sounds good." replied Clyde. Moments later, Clyde and Peony were standing several yards from each other while the rest of the group and Peonia watched. Peony pulls out a pokeball.
"Copperjah, go!" shouts Peony, throwing a pokeball and releasing a Copperjah. Clyde pulls out a pokeball.
"Incineroar, go!" shouts Clyde, throwing Incineroar's pokeball and releasing him. "Incineroar, use Bulk Up!" Incineroar's muscles bulge and his attack and defense increases.
"Copperjah, High Horsepower!" said Peony. Copperjah becomes surrounded by an orange aura and charges at Incineroar; it rams him, dealing super effective damage.
"Incineroar, use Fire Fang!" said Clyde. Incineroar leaps at Copperjah while fire surrounded his fangs and he bites Copperjah, dealing super effective damage; fire surrounds Copperjah's body.
"Copperjah's burned." said Lincoln.
"Copperjah, Superpower!" said Peony. Copperjah becomes surrounded by a light blue aura and it rams Incineroar, dealing super effective damage. Copperjah flinches in pain from its burn.
"Incineroar, use Flamethrower!" said Clyde. Incineroar releases a stream of fire from his belt, and it hits Copperjah, dealing super effective damage.
"Copperjah, High Horsepower!" said Peony. Copperjah charges at Incineroar and rams him, dealing super effective damage. Copperjah loses more energy from its burn.
"Incineroar, use Flare Blitz!" said Clyde. Incineroar becomes surrounded by red orange fire and it charges at Copperjah, ramming it, and dealing super effective damage. Incineroar flinches in pain from the recoil damage done by Flare Blitz.
"Copperjah, use Strength!" said Peony. Copperjah becomes surrounded by a white aura; it lifts Incineroar with its trunk and slams him onto the ground, damaging him. Copperjah flinches in pain from its burn.
"Boy, Peony's tough." said Sam.
"Incineroar, use Double Kick!" said Clyde. Incineroar jumps up from the ground and leaps at Copperjah; he kicks it twice, dealing super effective damage.
"Copperjah, High Horsepower!" shouts Peony. Copperjah becomes surrounded by an orange aura and charges at Incineroar.
"Incineroar, Flare Blitz!" said Clyde. Incineroar becomes surrounded by red orange fire and charges at Copperjah. They both crashed into each other, creating an explosion that causes everyone to shield themselves with their arms. When the smoke from the explosion cleared, both Incineroar and Copperjah were on the ground, unconscious.
"Looks like it's a draw." said Lincoln.
"I guess." said Ronnie Anne. Clyde and Peony both returned their Pokemon to their pokeballs.
"You were amazing out there, Incineroar." said Clyde.
"You were incredible, Copperjah." said Peony. He puts his Copperjah's pokeball away and pulls another pokeball off his waist. "You're quite the trainer, kid, but let's see how you handle this Pokemon. Aggron, go!" He throws a pokeball and releases a huge, bipedal, gray Pokemon with steel plating on its body and two horns on its head.
"What's that?" asked Lincoln, taking out his Rotom Phone and pointing it at the Pokemon.
"Aggron, the Iron Armor Pokemon and the final evolved form of Aron. Long ago, there was a king who wore a helmet meant to resemble the head of an Aggron. He was trying to channel the Pokémon's strength." said Lincoln's Rotom Phone. Clyde puts Incineroar's pokeball away and pulls out another one.
"Let's go, Gallade!" said Clyde, throwing Gallade's pokeball and releasing him. "Gallade, use Calm Mind!" Gallade closes his eyes and his body glows brightly, raising his special attack and special defense.
"Aggron, use Iron Head!" said Peony. Aggron's head glows white and it charges at Gallade; it rams him, knocking him back.
"Gallade, use Focus Blast!" said Clyde. Gallade forms a ball of light blue energy between the ends of its arms, and he launches it at Aggron, hitting it, and dealing super effective damage; Aggron begins to slump. "Focus Blast weakens your Aggron's special defense."
"It'll take more than that to stop us!" shouts Peony. "Aggron, Stone Edge!" Aggron slams its hands onto the ground and pillars of rocks appear out of it towards Gallade.
"Gallade, Bulk Up!" said Clyde. Gallade's body bulks up and his attack and defense increased before the rock pillars hit him, but not dealing much damage. "Now use Night Slash!" Gallade's arm glows white and he slashes Aggron with it, landing a critical hit.
"Aggron, use Body Press!" said Peony. Aggron leaps up and comes down towards Gallade.
"Gallade, Teleport!" said Clyde. Gallade glows white and disappears, making Aggron hit the ground; Gallade reappears. "Now use Focus Blast!" Gallade launches another light blue ball of energy at Aggron, hitting it, and dealing super effective damage, as well as further weakening its special defense.
"Aggron, use Crunch!" said Peony. Aggron charges at Gallade and bites him, dealing damage, and weakening his defense.
"Gallade, Brick Break!" said Clyde. Gallade raises an arm and strikes Aggron with it, dealing super effective damage.
"Aggron, Body Press!" said Peony. Aggron jumps up and lands hard on Gallade, but not dealing much damage.
"Gallade, Focus Blast!" said Clyde. Gallade launches another light blue ball of energy at Aggron and it hits it; Aggron falls to the ground, unconscious.
"No way!" yelled Peony.
"Way to go, Clyde!" said Leni.
"That was so cool!" said Sam.
"You were great, Gallade." said Clyde.
'Wow; Clyde's a strong trainer, and very cute.' Peonia thinks to herself; she then notices her father wasn't watching, so she takes the opportunity to sneak away. Peony returns his Aggron to its pokeball.
"You did your best, Aggron." said Peony. He then puts his pokeball back on his waist.
"Looks like I win." said Clyde.
"Yeah, look at me; takin' a thrashin' from a youngster like you!" said Peony as he hands Clyde pokedollars.
"Told you we weren't pushovers." said Lola. Clyde looks around and notices that someone was missing.
"Where's Peonia?" asked Clyde, making Peony look around in shock.
"My darlin' daughter disappeared!" Peony shouts to the heavens. "Where've you gone, my sweet Nia?!"
"She must've snuck off during the battle." said Lincoln.
"I brought her out here so we could have a proper father-daughter trip. First one in ages!" said Peony.
"Well, she is at the age where kids are usually independent." said Sam.
"Yeah, but she had to grab the first trainer she finds, makes' em a decoy, and legs it." said Peony. "That's my dear Nia for you; that's just her backward way of showin' her papa she loves him!" He lets out a laugh. "That's just the type of girl she is; ultra-mega-charmin, isn't it?"
"I guess." said Clyde.
"Still, without her, I can't this Adven-tour of legendary spots I've planned for us." said Peony.
"Legendary spots?" Lincoln replied.
"Areas of the Crown Tundra where very rare and amazing Pokemon are said to be located." said Peony.
"That sounds so cool!" said Ronnie Anne.
"My darlin' daughter said something about wantin' to have a gander at some place called the Max Lair didn't she?" asked Peony.
"I think so." said Clyde.
"Sounds to me like she wants good old Papa to chase after her!" said Peony.
"Seriously?" asked Lucy from behind Peony, startling him.
"A-Anyway, she needn't worry! I'm not one for wastin' time!" said Peony. "Which means its time I got a move on. Cheers for a fine battle!"
"You're welcome." said Clyde.
"Take care of those strong Pokemon of yours!" said Peony.
"We always do." said Clyde. Peony nods before he runs off somewhere after Peonia.
"He was interesting." said Luna.
"Yeah." said Leni.
"Well, now that that's out of the way, let's start looking around." said Lincoln.
The Loud Crowd has arrived in the Crown Tundra. What awaits them in this new land as their Galar adventures continue?
