The Journey Continues
After everyone finished eating and Lincoln ends the call with his family, they all exit the cavern they were in to discuss future plans.
"So, what will you two do now?" asked Arven.
"We're heading to Artazon so I can take on the next gym there." said Lincoln.
"And there's another Team Star base around there also." said Clyde.
"I'm gonna look for the other Herba Mystica so I can help Mabosstiff." said Arven.
"I hope you find them soon." said Clyde.
"Thanks." said Arven.
"So, Arven; where did you get that Koraidon?" asked Lincoln.
"My mom is having me look after it for her." said Arven.
"Your mom?" replied Lincoln.
"Yeah, my mom's Professor Sada." said Arven, shocking Lincoln and Clyde.
"Professor Sada's your mom?!" said Lincoln and Clyde in unison.
"Yeah, sorry I didn't mention that." said Arven. Lincoln and Clyde felt a little disappointed at the fact that Professor Sada was most likely married.
"Um, who's your dad?" asked Clyde.
"No idea." said Arven. "I never met him, and my mom never talked about him at all."
"How come?" asked Lincoln.
"He and Mom probably just didn't get along as well as they used to, so they broke up, I'm guessing." said Arven. Clyde was secretly hoping that was the case.
"Sorry." said Lincoln.
"Well, I'm going to get going." said Arven.
"See you later." said Clyde. Arven then walks off to look for the remaining Herba Mystica.
"Let's get going, buddy." said Lincoln.
"You got it." said Clyde as he and Lincoln run off.
Lincoln and Clyde are currently walking across South Province Area Two on their way back to Mesagoza after their battle with the Titan Pokemon.
"You think we'll be able to find the rest of the Herba Mystica, Lincoln?" asked Clyde.
"I hope so; I really want to help Arven's Mabosstiff." replied Lincoln.
"Don't forget; we're also going to talk to Mr. Jacq about sending plans for a Pokemon Transport System to Lisa." said Clyde.
"I remember, Clyde." said Lincoln. He suddenly sees a Tera Den nearby. "Hey, another Tera Den; let's check it out. He and Clyde walked to the Tera Den and walked inside. Once inside, they see a purple, crablike Pokemon with red pincers and a blue, crystal water fountain on top of it. Clyde takes out his Rotom Phone and points it at the Pokemon.
"Crabrawler, the Boxing Pokemon. This Pokémon punches trees and eats the berries that drop down, training itself and getting food at the same time." said Clyde's Rotom Phone.
"How come the pincers the Crabrawler in the image on this screen are blue while that one's pincers are red?" asked Clyde.
"Must be a shiny Crabrawler." said Lincoln. He takes out a pokeball. "Judging by the water fountain on top of it, this Crabrawler's Tera Form must be water. Floragato, go!" He throws Floragato's pokeball and releases him.
"You too, Kirlia!" said Clyde, throwing Kirlia's pokeball and releasing him. The Crabrawler turned towards them and raises its pincers. "Kirlia, Psybeam!" Kirlia fires a multi-colored beam of energy from his hands, and they hit Crabrawler.
"Magical Leaf!" said Lincoln. Floragato releases glowing green leaves from his body, and they hit Crabrawler, dealing super effective damage. The Crabrawler's Tera Form shatters and it collapses. Lincoln pulls an empty pokeball out of his pocket and he throws it at Crabrawler; it hits Crabrawler and sucks in it. After it wiggled around a few times, it clicks, indicating a successful capture. "Yeah! Crabrawler's mine!"
"Way to go, buddy." said Clyde. Crabrawler's pokeball gets transported to storage. Lincoln takes out his Rotom Phone to look up Crabrawler's information.
"Okay, this says Crabrawler's a female, she knows Vise Grip, Rock Smash, Leer, and Payback; she has the Iron Fist ability which makes her punching moves stronger." said Lincoln. The Tera Den vanishes; Lincoln picked up three pearls, and several berries.
"Let's head back to Mesagoza." said Clyde. As they make their way through South Province Area Two some more, Clyde spots a golden yellow Pokemon that looked like three hexagons with eyes and mouths joined together with the bottom one having a red triangle mark on it, plus a couple of insect wings.
"What's that?" asked Lincoln as he takes out his Rotom Phone and points it at the Pokemon.
"Combee, the Tiny Bee Pokemon. At night, Combee sleep in a group of about a hundred, packed closely together in a lump." said Lincoln's Rotom Phone.
"I got this one." said Clyde. He takes out a pokeball from his pocket and throws it, releasing his Swablu. "Okay, Swablu, use Peck!" Swablu flies at the Combee and jabs it with his beak, doing super effective damage; the Combee responds by flapping its wings, releasing a gust of wind that hits Swablu and knocks it back a bit. "Use Round!" Swablu releases a soundwave that hits the Combee and knocks it down to the ground; Clyde takes out an empty pokeball and throws it at the Combee, hitting it, and sucking it in; the pokeball wiggles a few times before clicking.
"You did it, Clyde!" cheered Lincoln. Clyde looks up his new Combee's information on his Rotom Phone.
"My new Combee is a girl, she knows Gust, Sweet Scent, Bug Bite, and Struggle Bug; plus, she has the Honey Gather ability which makes it so she might pick up some honey after a battle." said Clyde. Combee's pokeball is then sent to storage. Lincoln suddenly spots another Tera Den.
"Hey; let's check that Tera Den out." said Lincoln. Clyde returns Swablu to his pokeball and they walk to the Tera Den. They walked inside it and came across a crystallized, purple Pokemon that looked like it was made of slime that had crystallized skull and crossbones on top of it. Lincoln takes out his Rotom Phone and points it at the Pokemon.
"Grimer, the Sludge Pokemon. Born from sludge, these Pokémon now gather in polluted places and increase the bacteria in their bodies." said Lincoln's Rotom Phone.
"Sounds like Lana's kind of Pokemon." said Lincoln as he pulls out a pokeball. "Go, Tinkatink!" He throws Tinkatink's pokeball and releases her.
"Kirlia, go!" said Clyde as he throws Kirlia's pokeball and releases him. "Judging by the skull and crossbones on top of it, its Tera Form's a poison type." Lincoln nods in response.
"Tinkatink, use Metal Claw!" said Lincoln. Tinkatink runs to Grimer while her free hand turns into metal, and she swipes Grimer across the chest with it. Tinkatink suddenly begins surging with energy and her attack strength increases.
"Kirlia, use Psybeam!" said Clyde. Kirlia fires a beam of multicolored energy from his hands, and it hits the Grimer, dealing super effective damage to it. Grimer opens its mouth and sprays a stream of mud out of it and it hits Tinkatink, dealing super effective damage, and lowering her accuracy.
"That looked like Mud-Slap!" said Lincoln.
"It attacks with mud?" asked Clyde. "Definitely sounds like Lana's kind of Pokemon."
"Tinkatink, use Metal Claw again!" said Lincoln. Tinkatink runs towards Grimer while her hand turned metal and slashes Grimer again, dealing more damage than the previous Metal Claw due to her attack strength being increased. Grimer's Tera Form shatters and it collapses. Lincoln takes an empty pokeball out of his backpack and throws it at Grimer, hitting it, and sucking it in; it wiggled around until it clicks.
"Yes! I caught a Grimer!" said Lincoln. Grimer's pokeball vanishes, and the Tera Den does also; Lincoln and Clyde found themselves back in South Province Area Two. Lincoln looks to see three pouches of Stardust and some berries; he puts them all in his backpack and takes out his Rotom Phone to look up Grimer's information.
"This says Grimer's a girl, she knows Pound, Poison Gas, Harden, Mud-Slap, Disable, Sludge, and Mud Shot; she has the Stench ability which has the chance of making an opposing Pokemon she strikes with an attack flinch." said Lincoln.
"Let's keep going, buddy." said Clyde. The two continue to walk until they reach the gate into Mesagoza.
"Okay, we'll stop by the academy to see Mr. Jacq about getting some plans for a Pokemon Transport System to send to Lisa, and I also want to stop by Delibird Presents to get a Mystic Water for Shellder, and a Charcoal for Charcadet; and I also want to mail the pearls I got to Lola." said Lincoln.
"We should also bring our Pokemon to the Pokemon Center." said Clyde. "They could probably use a rest after their battle with that Titan Bombirdier."
"Good call." said Lincoln.
The two then enter Mesagoza; what other things will they experience as their Treasure Hunt continues?
