Onward to Levincia
The boys were currently walking down the path away from the Team Star Fire Crew's base; as they do, they go over what they were going to do next.
"So, our next stop is Levincia?" asked Clyde.
"Yeah, that is where my next gym battle is." said Lincoln.
"When do you want to start heading over there?" asked Clyde.
"Maybe a little later." said Lincoln. "I want my Pokemon to rest up after our last Star Barrage battle."
"And it is close to lunch time." said Clyde.
"Yeah, let's get some food ready." said Lincoln. He and Clyde set up their picnic table and cooking supplies, then get started making lunch. While they were doing that, they decide to call their families to let them know what they've been up to.
"Hi, boys." said Lynn Sr.
"How have you boys been doing in Paldea?" asked Howard McBride.
"Did you catch any new Pokemon?" asked Lana.
"You bet we did." said Lincoln as he lets out all his Pokemon, including his new Finizen, along with his newly evolved Lycanroc; Clyde also shows everyone his newly evolved Naclstack and Dachsbun.
"Your new Finizen is so cute!" said Leni.
"Hope it's not like that porpoise that stole Dad's wallet that one time." said Luan.
"And your Lycanroc looks like a top dog!" said Lynn Jr. Charles looks at the monitor from their end in Royal Woods and notices Lycanroc; making him growl, which makes Lycanroc growl more fiercely, which makes Charles hide in the couch cushions.
"I think you should avoid a fight with that guy, Charles." said Lori.
"So, what else is new with you boys?" asked Harold McBride.
"We just took down another Team Star base." said Lincoln.
"Wish we would've seen that." said Lynn Jr.
"At least you boys are still doing okay." said Rita.
"So, how are the Pokemon we sent you doing?" asked Lincoln.
"They're doing great." said Luna.
"We let them out in Tall Timbers Park to let them forage for food." said Lisa.
"And Grimer eats garbage, so we let her have what we got at our house." said Lynn Sr.
"Wish she'd leave me something." said Lana with a pout.
"You really shouldn't eat garbage sweetie; it isn't good for you." said Rita.
"And she should try bathing on a daily basis, too!" said Lola.
"Oh yeah?!" said Lana. "Grimer, use Mud Slap on Lola!" Grimer fires a glob of mud out of her mouth that hits Lola in the face.
"How dare you!" said Lola.
"I thought you wear mud masks sometimes." said Lana.
"And Pichu is totes adorbs!" said Leni as she nuzzles the Pichu's cheek.
"Pachirisu is way cuter!" said Lola as she nuzzles the Pachirisu's tail.
"And...I like... hanging out with...Greavard." said Lucy as the Greavard was sitting on her lap while licking her face.
"Maybe you should take a break from her for a bit." said Lincoln. "You practically look like a zombie."
"Wicked." said Lucy.
"Right now, we're having lunch before heading over to Levincia." said Lincoln.
"What's there?" asked Lori.
"My next gym battle." said Lincoln.
"What do you think that city is like?" asked Luna.
"We saw it from a cliff yesterday." said Lincoln. "Maybe we can show you when we get there."
"That sounds okay." said Lori.
"And don't forget to catch us some Cyclizars, also." said Lynn Jr.
"I won't." said Lincoln. "In fact, I saw some on the way to the beach where I caught Finizen."
"Why didn't you catch them then?" asked Lynn Jr.
"I was doing my morning jog." said Lincoln.
"Oh, well if you were busy getting exercise, then I get it was okay." said Lynn Jr.
"Yeah, I'm doing it so Ms. Dendra doesn't give me a hard time about not working out enough." said Lincoln.
"She's so awesome!" said Lynn Jr.
"After lunch, I'll go see if we can find some more Cyclizars for you." said Lincoln.
"Okay." said Lana. After some more talking, they decide to end the call and have lunch. After they finished eating, they began putting their dishes away; as they did, Lincoln spots another Tera Den.
"Hey, let's see what's in there." said Lincoln. He and Clyde walk over to the Tera Den and walked inside; once inside, they see a crystallized, dark pink, impish-looking Pokemon with skinny arms and legs, and a purple, masklike marking around its eyes and crystallized flowers on top of it.
"What's that?" asked Clyde, taking out his Rotom Phone and pointing it at the Pokemon.
"Impidimp, the Wily Pokemon. The reason this Pokémon causes trouble for those it feels close to is because Impidimp itself gets irritable if it can't absorb negative emotions." said Clyde's Rotom Phone.
"I heard about this Pokemon; they like to play pranks." said Lincoln. "I think I'll give this Pokemon to Luan." He pulls out a pokeball. "Judging by the crystal flowers on its head, its Tera Form's a grass type, so Charcadet will be a good choice." He throws Charcadet's pokeball and releases him.
"Go, Dachsbun!" said Clyde, throwing Dachsbun's pokeball and releasing her.
"Charcadet, Ember!" said Lincoln Charcadet fires embers from the holes on his helmet and they hit Impidimp, dealing super effective damage.
"Dachsbun, use Bite!" said Clyde. Dachsbun runs at Impidimp and bites it, dealing damage and making it flinch.
"Fire Spin, Charcadet!" said Lincoln. Charcadet releases a stream of fire that forms into a vortex around Impidimp, dealing super effective damage to it; its Tera Form shatters and it collapes to the ground. Lincoln takes out an empty pokeball and throws it at Impidimp, hitting it and sucking it in; it soon clicked. "Yes! I caught Impidimp!" Impidimp's pokeball vanishes and is transported to storage. The Tera Den lights up and Lincoln and Clyde found themselves back in the East Province area. Lincoln uses his Rotom Phone to look up Impidimp's information.
"Okay, this says Impidimp's a boy, he knows Fake Out, Confide, Bite, Flatter, Fake Tears, Assurance, and Swagger; he has the Prankster ability which makes moves that doesn't cause damage go first." said Lincoln.
"Definitely sounds like Luan's type of Pokemon." said Clyde. After Lincoln picked up several berries and pearls from the Tera Den they were in, Lincoln calls his family's number on his Rotom Phone; seconds later, Luan answers.
"Hey, Lincoln." said Luan.
"Hey, Luan; just so you know, I caught a Pokemon for you." said Lincoln. "It's called an Impidimp, likes to play pranks."
"Oh boy, really?" asked Luan.
"Yeah; I'm going to send her to our house." said Lincoln.
"We just got home a minute ago, so I'll be ready for her." said Luan. Lincoln ends his call; a minute later, Luan was standing in near the Pokemon Transport System in Lisa and Lily's room when a pokeball appeared on it; she picks it up and tosses it, releasing Impidimp. "Hi, Impidimp." Impidimp waves at Luan in response.
"Oh, and Lola; I found some more pearls for you." said Lincoln.
"Really?" replied Lola.
"I'll mail them to you next time I'm at a post office." said Lincoln.
"You'd better!" said Lola. Lincoln ends the call, and he and Clyde continue to explore the area until they see a bunch of Cyclizars together.
"Time to get some of those for Luna, Lynn, and Lana." said Lincoln.
"I'll help you." said Clyde.
"But let me swap my Shellder for my Tinkatuff first; she can be really helpful against those Cyclizars.
"Okay, buddy." said Clyde. Lincoln uses his Rotom Phone to swap his Shellder for his Tinkatuff; then lets her out of her pokeball, while Clyde releases his Dachsbun.
"Tinkatuff, use Rock Smash!" said Lincoln. Tinkatuff runs at one of the Cyclizars and whacks it with her hammer, doing super effective damage.
"Dachsbun, use Tackle!" said Clyde. Dachsbun runs at another Cyclizar and tackles it. The Cyclizar that Tinkatuff was battling spins around and hits her with its tail; while the one that Dachsbun was battling runs at her and rams her.
"Tinkatuff, use Draining Kiss!" said Lincoln. Tinkatuff runs at the Cyclizar she was battling and kisses it, draining it of a lot of stamina; seeing that it looked worn out, Lincoln takes out an empty pokeball and throws it at the Cyclizar, hitting it, and sucking it in; the pokeball wiggles a few times before clicking, indicating a successful capture.
"Dachsbun, use Play Rough!" said Clyde. Dachsbun wrestles with the Cyclizar she was battling and wears it out. "Catch it, Lincoln!"
"You got it!" said Lincoln. He takes out an empty pokeball and throws it at the Cyclizar, hitting it, and sucking it in; the pokeball wiggles a few times before clicking, indicating a successful capture.
"We got 'em, Lincoln." said Clyde.
"We just need one more." said Lincoln. The two find another Cyclizar and manage to catch it also. Once that was all done, Lincoln looks up the Cyclizars' information on his Rotom Phone.
"This says that one of the Cyclizars was a boy, while the other two were girls; they both have the same moves and ability as mine." said Lincoln. He then uses his Rotom Phone to send his newly caught Cyclizars to the Loud house. After that was done, the boys continue towards Levincia until they reached the city's entrance.
"We're finally here, buddy." said Clyde.
"Time for my next gym battle." said Lincoln.
"What do you think the Gym Test is like?" asked Clyde.
"One way to find out." said Lincoln. The two then run into the city; what will Lincoln's next gym battle be like? Wait and find out.
