Hello everyone, and welcome to another exciting chapter of "A Long Distance Ship. And by exciting, I mean this chapter is going to be a doozy as, like last chapter, it only covers a single episode of the Hoenn saga (and more specifically AG010), and it is a completly garbage filler episode. At least the previous episode was an okay Max episode. This episode... well, let's hear it from Ash's words...

Hey there Misty, I have just had quite the experience at a gym. But it wasn't the Rustboro gym, as we didn't quite reach there yet. The gym leader, a man named Anthony, claimed to have the most powerful Pokémon in the world, which was a Pelipper who could supposedly use more than just Water and Flying moves. We later found out that it was all a fake and that the Pelipper had Pokéballs in its mouth to have other Pokémon attack. But someone found out his secret before we did… Team Rocket. They then decided to use the Pelipper to help steal other people's Pokémon by challenging them to battle it, blackmailing Anthony in the process. Luckily, we stopped Team Rocket and taught Anthony a valuable lesson on using a Pokémon's natural abilities (the Pelipper was actually very powerful even without having a bunch of Pokéballs in its bill). I am still very angry about the whole thing. Anyways, I hope you are doing well, Misty, as the official start of the Kanto Badge season draws closer…

Ash

Hey there, Ash. It is a shame you couldn't take out such a cool Pokémon (sorry, the water lover in me thinks that Pelipper would be such a cool Pokémon to have on my team someday). But still, it was really bad of Anthony to scam you into thinking that the Pelipper could use moves it actually couldn't. It almost made me have no sympathy for him when Team Rocket blackmailed him into giving him his Pokémon… almost. Anyways, the next time I talk to you, I should have my first official battle against another trainer looking for a Cascade Badge. I will tell you about it then,

Misty.

PS: An unofficial gym run by someone named Anthony… Does it remind you of one of your Pokémon, Ash? A Pokémon you left with someone and didn't return?

And that concludes this chapter of "A Long Distance Ship" On January 31st, we got our tenth comment on this story, and like the last time, it was from Ian. But that is not the only milestone we reached since the last time I uploaded a new chapter, as user "20200473" both favorited and followed the story. The favorite is more important, as that is the 20th favorite this story has gotten, doing so on the first. JuggernautJ61 also added the story to his follows list , so shout out to him. Remember, if you want your name at the end of the chapter, then remember to favorite, follow, and or review the story. It helps keep me motivated, so every one counts! See you on Monday, and have a good week, everyone!

Oh, and I promsie that the next chapter will be more exciting, especially since I have a big announcement for that chapter...
