The Loyal Three Return

After Kieran won his battle against his sister; he, Lincoln, Clyde, and Carmine get ready to head back to Mossui Town.

"I'll get Ogerpon's mask." said Kieran as he walks over to the Loyal Three monument; when he reaches it, he glares at it with anger.

'You three took Ogerpon's friend away, and stole his masks; I won't forgive you.' Kieran thinks to himself before he kicks the monument, picks up Ogerpon's mask, and heads back to Carmine, Lincoln, and Clyde.

"Let's get back to Mossui Town so Grandpa can fix that." said Carmine as she looks at Ogerpon's mask.

"The sooner, the better." said Lincoln. As the group turns to leave Loyalty Plaza, the ground in the area starts to shake violently.

"W-W-What's going on?!" asked Clyde.

"Is it an earthquake?!" asked Lincoln.

"Lincoln, be careful!" said Rita. A powerful explosion of energy comes out of the Loyal Three monument that Kieran kicked, destroying it, and getting the four's attention.

"How did that happen?!" asked Carmine.

"I just kicked it a little!" said Kieran. They all watch as the smoke starts to clear, showing three silhoutettes in it; when the smoke is gone, they all see three Pokemon they never seen before.

One was a large, bipedal, doglike Pokemon with green and black fur covering its strong-looking body, and a dark pinkish purple chain around its neck.

The second was a monkeylike Pokemon with black fur, blue face, hands, and feet, and a pinkish purple headband on its head

The third one was a birdlike Pokemon with a long white neck, black feathers covering most of its body, along with bronze legs, long tail feathers, and wingtips; gold feathers sticking out from its head, and a pinkish purple sash around its waist.

"What are those Pokemon?" asked Clyde. LIncoln thinks back to the monuments he saw before and realized something.

"A doglike Pokemon with a pink thing around its neck, a monkeylike Pokemon with a pink thing on its head, and a birdlike Pokemon with a pink thing on its torso." said Lincoln. "I think these guys are the ones people here call the Loyal Three!"

"What?!" exclaimed Carmine and Kieran.

"I think Lincoln might be right!" said Clyde.

"They're the Loser Three?!" exclaimed Lynn Jr.

Clyde grabs his Rotom Phone and points it at the doglike Pokemon.

"Pokemon unknown. No available data." said Clyde's Rotom Phone.

"No data?!" replied Carmine.

"I'm guessing since these guys haven't actually been seen for a long time, no one has ever done any research on them." said Clyde.

"Kieran, hide Ogerpon's mask before they see it." Lincoln whispered to Kieran, making him nod and do as he was told.

The three sinister Pokemon stare at the group for a while before turning towards the west part of the region and start running to the west.

"Where are they going?" asked Carmine.

"It looks like they're going towards Kitakami Hall." said Lincoln.

"What would they want there?" asked Clyde. Kieran's eyes widen as he figured out the Loyal Three's goal.

"The other three Ogerpon masks are there!" said Kieran.

"That must be what they're after!" said Lincoln.

"Let's go! We can't let them get those masks!" said Carmine as she grabs Lincoln's hand and starts pulling him towards Mossui Town.

"Don't touch Linky!" said Iono.

"Wait for us!" said Clyde as he and Kieran, who still had Ogerpon's mask, run after Carmine and Lincoln.

The four soon reach Mossui Town and were shocked by what they saw; the place had some damage done to it, but not a whole lot.

"What happened here?" asked Lincoln.

"This is terrible." said Lori.

"Kids!" Kieran and Carmine's grandfather's voice calls out, making the four look to see him running over to them.

"Grandpa!" said Kieran.

"What happened here, sir?" asked Clyde.

"Three unusual Pokemon came through here." said Kieran's grandfather. "They did some damage and headed off towards Kitakami Hall.

"You just saw the Pokemon called the Loyal Three!" said Carmine.

"WHAT?!" replied Kieran and Carmine's grandfather.

"Those were the Loyal Three?!" a nearby townsperson asked.

"But they're supposed to be noble heroes!" said another townsperson as she was picking up some groceries that were on the ground.

"Sir, you should tell the people here the truth about those three while we go after them!" Lincoln says to Kieran and Carmine's grandfather.

"Are you sure?" asked Kieran and Carmine's grandfather.

"I'm pretty sure after what those three just did, they will believe you." said Clyde.

"Good point." said Kieran and Carmine's grandfather. Kieran and Carmine walk over to their grandfather and hand him Ogerpon's mask and the Crystal Cluster.

"Here." said Carmine.

"Sorry for taking the mask, Grandpa." said Kieran.

"Thank you." said Kieran and Carmine's grandfather.

"Let's hurry!" said Lincoln. The four took off up Reveler's Road and started making their way up to Kitakami Hall.

"What are we going to do when we find those three jerks?" asked Carmine.

"I don't know." said Lincoln. "But I know we can't let them get those masks!"

"That's for sure!" said Lynn Jr.

"Totes!" said Leni.

"Yeah!" shouted Lana and Lola.

"For those who don't know what's going on; my cutie, and his friends Clyde and Kieran, are chasing after the Loyal Three... sorry, I meant 'Loser Three', to stop them from stealing poor Ogerpon's masks!" said Iono.

"Hey, I'm going after them also!" said Carmine.

"Yeah, but you're not worth mentioning!" said Iono, making Carmine growl.

The four soon reach Kitakami Hall and saw that the place was trashed; decorations were torn down, food stands were knocked over with some of the food being mostly eaten, and the people were in hysterics. (a/n: We know that's not what happened in the game, but we didn't like that those three thieves got special treatment, and felt the people should've seen them for how they truly were.)

"Look at this place!" said Lincoln.

"This is horrible!" said Luan.

"Those three must be stopped!" said Rita.

"Let's head to where the shrine the masks are in is at." said Lincoln as he and the others head further into Kitakami Hall.

They soon reach the shrine where they see it was broken open and empty on the inside; they also see the caretaker and several more people in panic.

"Sir!" Lincoln calls out to the caretaker, getting his attention.

"Children!" the caretaker replied as Lincoln, Clyde, Kieran, and Carmine ran over to him.

"What happened here?!" asked Kieran.

"Three Pokemon ransacked the festival grounds and stole the three masks that were in the shrine!" said the caretaker.

"They were the Loyal Three!" said Carmine.

"Loyal Three?!" replied a townsperson.

"The dog, monkey, and bird Pokemon we saw were the Loyal Three?!" asked the caretaker.

"That was them." said Clyde.

"But why would the protectors of Kitakami do this to us?!" asked another townsperson.

"They were never protectors!" said Carmine. "We've spent generations celebrating and praising a bunch of thieves!"

"What?!" replied the caretaker.

"The truth is..." said Kieran before he started to tell everyone the true story about Ogerpon and the Loyal Three; when he was done, everyone was in shock.

"So, we've been praising a bunch of villians?!" asked a townsperson.

"Yeah, and treating an innocent Pokemon like an outcast!" exclaimed Lincoln.

"You mean the ogre isn't a scary monster?" asked a boy. Lincoln takes out his Rotom Phone and brings up the picture of Ogerpon.

"Does this look like a scary monster to you all?!" asked Lincoln as he shows the picture of Ogerpon.

"That's the ogre?" asked a girl.

"It has a name; Ogerpon." said Kieran.

"It doesn't look scary at all." said another girl.

"But why would people say it was a scary monster?" asked a woman.

"It was because of the mask Ogerpon was wearing the day it battled the Loyal Three." replied Clyde.

"They don't deserve to be called the Loyal Three anymore!" said a townsperson.

"Especially after what they did!" said another townsperson as he points at the mess that was made.

"We're calling them the Loser Three!" said Kieran.

"That name suits them just fine!" said a townsperson.

"But we're wasting time!" said Carmine. "Where did they go?!"

"They went up Oni Mountain!" said the caretaker.

"Why would they go up there?" asked Clyde. Lincoln thinks for a moment before figuring out the Loser Three's goal.

"They're going after Ogerpon!" said Lincoln.

"That must be it!" said Carmine.

"Let's get up there and stop them!" said Kieran.

The four start running up the path up Oni Mountain without any breaks until they reached the Dreaded Den; there they see the Loser Three ganging up on Ogerpon who was struggling to get up.

"That is, totes, mean!" said Leni.

"Help Ogerpon!" said Lola.

"On it!" said Lincoln as he, Clyde, Kieran, and Carmine run over to the Loser Three.

"Hey! Leave Ogerpon alone!" shouts Clyde, getting the Loser Three's attention. Lincoln notices that the thieving Pokemon each had a mask with them.

"The stolen masks!" said Lincoln.

"Give those back to Ogerpon!" said Kieran. The monkey-looking one steps forward and looks ready to battle.

"I'm guessing that's the one called Munkidori because it looks like a monkey." said Carmine. "Plus, I think it wants a battle."

"I'm guessing the dog one is Okidogi." said Lincoln.

"So that bird one must be Fezandipiti." said Kieran.

"I'll take Munkidori on!" said Clyde. "If it wants a battle and not simply return the mask those three took, then I'll battle it and take the mask back!"

"But what kind of Pokemon is it?" asked Lincoln.

"I'll try different types of moves to figure that out." said Clyde. He and Munkidori faced each other; Clyde pulls out a pokeball. "Quaxwell, go!" He tosses Quaxwell's pokeball and releases him.

"Show that horrible Pokemon what you can do, Clyde!" said Howard.

"You bet, Dad." replied Clyde. Munkidori claps its hands, releasing a shockwave that hits Quaxwell, dealing damage and causing him to flinch.

"I think that was Fake Out!" said Lincoln. Munkidori leaps at Quaxwell and scratches him, damaging him.

"That was definitely Scratch." said Carmine.

"Quaxwell, use Water Pulse!" Quaxwell forms a ball of blue water between his hands and he launches it at Munkidori, hitting it, and dealing damage. "Doesn't look like it's weak or resistant to water moves; so it's not a fire, ground, or rock type; doesn't matter; me and Quaxwell will still battle it."

"That's the spirit, Clyde!" said Harold. Munkidori leaps at Quaxwell while its hand glowed purple and jabs Quaxwell with it, damaging him.

"That looked like Poison Jab!" said Kieran. It turned purple under Quaxwell's eyes.

"Oh man; Quaxwell's poisoned!" said Lincoln. Quaxwell coughs and loses stamina from his poisoning.

"Quaxwell, Air Slash!" said Clyde. Quaxwell's arms glowed and he swings them, releasing circular energy blades at Munkidori and hits it, dealing damage. "So it's not weak or resistant to flying type move either, so it's definitely not part rock, steel, electric, grass, bug, or fighting." Munkidori flinches from Air Slash; Quaxwell coughs from his poisoning and loses more stamina.

"Don't let that big ape take you down, Quaxwell!" said Lana.

"Yeah; don't Munkidori around." said Luan. "Ha, ha, ha; get it?"

"Not now, Luan!" said Lori.

"Okay, Quaxwell, Aqua Cutter!" said Clyde. Water surrounds Quaxwell's hand and he strikes Munkdori with it, dealing damage. Munkidori holds out a hand and fires a multicolored beam of energy out of it and it hits Quaxwell, dealing damage. "That looked like Psybeam!" Quaxwell coughs from his poisoning.

"Quaxwell, Focus Energy!" said Clyde. Quaxwell becomes surrounded by a light blue aura. Munkidori fires another beam of multicolored energy at Quaxwell, hitting him and dealing damage; he coughs from his poisoning and drops to one knee. "Don't give up, Quaxwell!" Quaxwell suddenly becomes surrounded by a blue aura.

"What's going on with Quaxwell?" asked Luna.

"That's Quaxwell's Torrent ability, so now his water attacks should be much stronger now." said Clyde. "Okay, Quaxwell, use Aqua Cutter once more!" Quaxwell's hand becomes surrounded by water; he leaps at Munkidori and slashes it with it, landing a critical hit, and knocking Munkidori to the ground, unconscious.

Realizing they were outmatched for now, Fezandipiti flaps its wings, kicking up a bunch of dirt that gets into everyone's eyes.

"Cheap trick!" said Carmine as she tries wiping dust out of her eyes. While everyone was trying to see, Fezandipiti grabs the unconscious Munkidori with its talons and flies off with it while Okidogi takes off after them.

"They got away!" said Carmine.

"Let's focus on Ogerpon and see how it's doing." said Lincoln. Kieran was already with Ogerpon, looking it over.

"I... I can't believe I'm actually meeting you in person." said Kieran, making Ogerpon look up at him.

"Are you okay?" asked Carmine.

"Those three didn't hurt you too badly, did they?" asked Lincoln. Ogerpon was confused by how nice the group was being to it.

"Guess Ogerpon's not used to people being nice to it." said Clyde.

"Yeah, generations of being treated like an outcast would have that effect." said Lincoln.

"It's okay, Ogerpon." said Kieran. "We know you're not bad."

"That's right!" said Carmine. "It's those three that were the villians!"

"We're going to help you get those masks back, Ogerpon." said Lincoln.

"That's a promise." said Kieran. Ogerpon looks at the group with tears in its eyes before smiling.

The Loser Three have returned and have taken Ogerpon's masks. Will Lincoln and his friends get them back? Wait and find out.
