Interview with Katherine Mulligan
While Lincoln and Clyde were making their way back to the Paldea Region; back in Royal Woods, outside the Loud House, Lynn Sr and Rita were standing outside their home with Lily, holding a pokeball, in Rita's arms, and their Indeedee standing near them; outside with them was Katherine Mulligan, holding a microphone, along with a cameraman, holding a news camera towards them.
"This is award-winning news anchorwoman, Katherine Mulligan, here with Lynn Loud Sr and Rita Loud outside their home to talk about the amazing creatures, that have been seen around Royal Woods lately, known as Pokemon." said Katherine Mulligan.
"Hi, Katherine." said Lynn Sr.
"It all started over a month ago when Lynn Sr and Rita, along with their daughters, commited the unspeakable act of evicting their only son and brother, Lincoln Loud, out of his own home for the absurd belief of him being bad luck." said Katherine Mulligan, making Lynn Sr and Rita look away in shame.
"Can we not mention the L-word, please?" asked Lynn Sr.
"Very well." replied Katherine Mulligan. "Anyway, every dark cloud has a silver lining for after being evicted from his own home, Lincoln Loud won a scholarship, in a local raffle, to a foreign school called Naranja Academy, located in a far-off region known as the Paldea Region where these Pokemon are located." Katherine Mulligan looks down at Indeedee. "What can you tell everyone about this Pokemon?"
"Well, Katherine, this Pokemon is known as an Indeedee." replied Rita. "She's a psychic type; she's wonderful around the house. She doesn't mind changing Lily's diaper since her psychic powers makes it unnecessary for her to do so with her own hands."
"And she can easily put a stop to our daughters' overaggressive fights." said Lynn Sr.
"Can Indeedee give us an example of her psychic powers?" asked Katherine Mulligan. Indeedee turned towards Vanzilla and her eyes glowed blue; Vanzilla begins getting lifted off the driveway.
"Oh, be careful not to drop her, Indeedee." said Lynn Sr. Indeedee then sets Vanzilla gently back onto the driveway, much to Lynn Sr's relief.
"Incredible; but due to all the Pokemon we've seen around Royal Woods, is there room in your home for all of them?" asked Katherine Mulligan. Rita reaches into her pocket and pulls out a pokeball.
"Actually, we keep all the Pokemon in their pokeballs." replied Rita, holding out Indeedee's pokeball.
"Is it possible for a Pokemon to fit in such a small ball?" asked Katherine Mulligan. Lynn Sr looks at Lily.
"Go on, Lily; throw your pokeball." said Lynn Sr. Lily giggles before tossing her pokeball, releasing her Tandemaus.
"Oh, what an adorable Pokemon." said Katherine Mulligan. "What is this Pokemon called?"
"A Tandemaus." replied Lynn Sr. Lily reaches into her diaper and pulls out another pokeball; she tosses it, releasing her Sentret.
"And what's this Pokemon called?" asked Katherine Mulligan.
"A Sentret." replied Rita.
"Sentwet." said Lily.
"Why would your son do something nice for you and your daughters after what you all did to him?" asked Katherine, making Lynn Sr and Rita look away with shame.
"What can I say?" asked Lynn Sr. "He's just a good kid, and after what we did, we don't feel like we deserve him."
"What other Pokemon does your family have?" asked Katherine.
"Girls, come outside, and bring your Pokemon." said Rita. The rest of the Loud daughters come running outside while holding pokeballs in their hands.
"So, who's going to show our audience their Pokemon first?" asked Katherine.
"I'm first. I'm the oldest." said Lori while her sisters glare at her for using her standard reason; Lori tosses a pokeball, releasing her Illumise.
"What is this Pokemon called?" asked Katherine.
"My Pokemon is called an Illumise." said Lori. "Her boyfriend, a Pokemon called a Volbeat, is with my Boo-Boo Bear."
"I'm next!" said Leni as she steps forward and tosses her pokeballs, releasing her Eevee and Vulpix.
"And what are these Pokemon called?" asked Katherine.
"This Pokemon is, totes, called a Vulpix." said Leni, pointing at Vulpix. She then points at Eevee. "And that Pokemon is called an Eevee.
"I'm up next, dudes." said Luna as she tosses a couple pokeballs, releasing her Aipom and Cyclizar.
"I recall hearing about you and two of your other sisters riding this particular kind of Pokemon around the city." said Katherine as she points at Cyclizar.
"Yeah, dudette; it's called a Cyclizar." said Luna. "And the monkey-looking one is called an Aipom."
"My turn." said Luan as she tosses a pokeball, releasing her Impidimp. "This Pokemon is called an Impidimp."
"What do you think of this Pokemon?" asked Katherine.
"Well, Lincoln sent him to pull pranks on me as payback, not for kicking him out onto the street, but for all the April Fools pranks I pulled on him over the years." said Luan.
"Oh yes; I've heard of some of your pranks you pulled on April Fools Day." said Katherine. "Now who's next?"
"I am." said Lynn Jr, stepping forward. She takes out two pokeballs and throws them, releasing her Crabrawler and Heracross.
"And what are these Pokemon called?" asked Katherine.
"That one's called a Crabrawler; she's a great sparring partner." said Lynn Jr. She then points at Heracross. "And that one's a Heracross; he's very strong. I had him throw stuff lying around the front yard far away."
"Wait a minute; does he have anything to do with my Princess Car being missing?!" asked Lola.
"Uh, no." said Lynn Jr, looking away.
"Okay; who wants to show their Pokemon next?" asked Katherine.
"I will." said Lucy from behind Katherine, scaring her. Lucy tosses her pokeballs, releasing her Greavard, Phantump, Duskull, and Mimikyu. She points at Greavard. "That Pokemon's a Greavard; I like her because just being near her drains people of their life force."
"I'll be over here." said Katherine as she takes several steps away from Greavard. "And your other Pokemon?"
"The Pokemon that has a stump around its head is a Phantump; I like her because she was made when the soul of a deceased child possessed a tree stump." said Lucy, making Katherine shudder. "Anyway, the one wearing the skull mask with one eye is a Duskull, and the one that looked like it's wearing a crude disguise is a Mimikyu."
"Ooh, I'm next!" said Lana. She tosses her pokeballs, releasing her Grimer, Ekans, and Salandit.
"Eew! That one smells awful!" said Katherine as she points at Grimer while pinching her nose.
"I know!" replied Lana. "Anyway, that Pokemon's a Grimer." She then points at Ekans. "And that Pokemon is an Ekans." She then points at Salandit. "And that's a Salandit."
"I'm up next!" said Lola as she makes the TV camera point at herself before she tosses her pokeballs, releasing her Pichu, Deerling, Cutiefly, Teddiursa, Pachirisu, Happiny, Carbink, and Azurill.
"They're so adorable!" said Katherine with delight.
"The yellow one is called a Pichu, the deer one is a Deerling, the yellow bug one is called a Cutiefly, the adorable small bear one is a Teddiursa, the white squirrel one is called a Pachirisu, the pink one is called a Happiny, the rock one with gems in its body is called a Carbink, and the blue mouse one is called an Azurill." said Lola.
"I believe I am up next." said Lisa as she tosses her three pokeballs, releasing her Magnemite, Nosepass, and Ralts.
"What are these Pokemon called?" asked Katherine.
"The one with magnets on it is called a Magnemite." said Lisa. "The one made of stone is called a Nosepass, and the other one is called a Ralts; I had my brother send her to me because she has the ability to teleport,which I want to study for the purpose of working on a teleportation device of my own."
"What can you tell me about the Paldea region your son/brother is at right now." said Katherine.
"It's not that different from any other place, except for the Pokemon there." said Rita.
"And what about the Naranja Academy that Lincoln is attending?" asked Katherine.
"It's, totes, amazing." said Leni.
"It looks like a palace!" said Lola.
"The staff there always makes sure that Lincoln is safe and taken care of." said Lynn Sr.
"Yeah; this teacher, Ms. Dendra, has him doing a lot of exercise." said Lynn Jr. "Thanks to all her training, my brother actually developed some muscles."
"And Lincoln is making plenty of friends." said Rita.
"Like... Arven." said Leni as she looks away with a blush.
"And a girl named Nemona." said Luan. "We think she likes Lincoln."
"And he recently made friends with a boy named Kieran." said Lori.
"As well as his older sister, Carmine." said Luna.
"Yeah, she likes our brother too." said Lana with a big smirk.
"And there's another girl in Paldea who likes our brother named Iono." said Luna.
"And I heard about another citizen of Royal Woods who is attending Naranja Academy." said Katherine.
"Yes; Lincoln's best friend, Clyde McBride." said Rita. "His dads knew how much Clyde missed Lincoln, so they enrolled him at Naranja Academy and sent him there."
"Has he been catching Pokemon for himself?" asked Katherine.
"Oh, yes." replied Lynn Sr. "Lincoln said that all students get a Pokemon after enrolling."
"So, what else has Lincoln been doing at the Paldea Region?" asked Katherine.
"Well, he's doing this assignment called a Treasure Hunt." said Lynn Sr. "It's where all the students explore the Paldea Region, seeing what it has to offer." He then goes on to explain how Lincoln is challenging Pokemon gyms to earn badges until he had enough to compete in the Paldea League.
Leni also explained how he's helping Arven find the Herba Mysticas in order to help his ill Mabosstiff.
Luna then tells Katherine about how he's helping Clyde take down Team Star's bases all over Paldea.
"Sounds like Lincoln and his friend are having quite the adventure." said Katherine.
"They sure have." said Lynn Sr. "Right now, they're just returning from a class trip to somewhere called the Kitakami Region."
"What was that like?" asked Katherine. The Louds go on to tell her about the things that Lincoln and Clyde experienced in Kitakami; such as meeting Kieran and Carmine, the Festival of Masks, meeting Ogerpon, exploring the area while looking for the signboards, the Loser Three returning to life and stealing Ogerpon's masks, getting the stolen masks back, and Kieran capturing Ogerpon.
"Bro's having a blast." said Luna.
"I really wish I was there with them." said Lana.
"Me, too." said Lynn.
"We talked about this, girls." said Rita.
"We know." said Leni.
"Well, this has been an interesting interview." said Katherine. "If you keep me updated about events regarding Pokemon, I'll be back for another talk."
"We will." said Lynn Sr.
Later that night at the Loud house in the dining room, everyone was having dinner while talking about the interview.
"Today was exciting." said Rita.
"Everyone's really interested in our Pokemon." said Lori.
"I'll bet other people will be asking if Lincoln can send them some." said Luna.
"I'm gonna get some ketchup." said Luan as she goes into the kitchen; she opens the fridge to get a spring-propelled cream pie in the face while Impidimp was under the table, snickering at her. "DANG IT, IMPIDIMP!"
Lola was also looking at a very large wad of cash that she was counting in her hands.
"Where'd you get all that green, Lols?" asked Luna.
"I sold the pearls that Linky sent me." said Lola.
"Still can't believe that Lincoln would, literally, do that for you after what we did." said Lori.
"I know." said Lola with guilt. Leni looks at the cash when an idea enters her head.
Later, in the twins' room, Lola and Lana were getting ready for bed with their Pokemon when Leni enters.
"Lola?" Leni said.
"What do you want?" asked Lola.
"Can I borrow some money?" asked Leni.
"Why?" asked Lola.
"I want to buy a plane ticket to the Paldea Region." said Leni, surprising the twins.
"Why would you want to go there?" asked Lana.
"Let me guess; Arven?" asked Lola, making Leni smile and blush.
"You know, I wouldn't mind going there myself, just to have an adventure with Lincoln." said Lana. Suddenly, Lynn Jr and Lucy enter the room.
"We wanna go also." said Lynn.
"How did you know what we were talking about?" asked Lola.
"These walls aren't exactly soundproof." said Lucy as she taps on a wall, making a crack appear on it.
"Why do you two want to go?" asked Lola.
"I want to make up for starting what led to Lincoln ending up there in person." said Lynn.
"Even though he's having a good time." said Leni.
"And I also wouldn't mind hanging out with Ms. Dendra, and helping her train our bro." said Lynn Jr.
"I want to see other ghost type Pokemon." said Lucy.
"Can you even pay me back?" asked Lola.
"If we do some of those Tera Raid battle things that Lincoln got the pearls from and find some ourselves, we'll send some to you." said Lynn. Lola grins at the concept of getting more pearls.
"Deal." said Lola.
"I'll find out how much a plane ticket to Paldea will cost." said Leni as she takes out her device and starts looking for the information.
"And Lincoln did point out that the exchange rate of US dollars and pokedollars is big." said Lynn.
"Good point." said Lola.
"But what about Mom and Dad?" asked Lana.
"We won't tell them anything until our plane to Paldea takes off." said Lynn.
"When should we make our way to the airport?" asked Leni.
"Early tomorrow morning before Mom and Dad wake up." said Lana.
"How are we even going to get to the airport?" asked Leni.
"I'm sure for the right price, she'll be willing to give you four a ride." said Lola as she looks at all her cash.
"We should get packed." said Lucy from behind her, startling her.
"You got it." said Lana as she takes a sheet and starts piling some clothes onto it before making a bundle that she puts on the end of a stick while Lynn and Lucy go to their room.
'Lincoln, we're on our way.' Lana thinks to herself.
Looks like Leni, Lynn Jr, Lucy, and Lana, are gonna be off to the Paldea Region. What awaits them there? Wait and find out.
