Author Notes

Okay, so here is Chapter 15. As you can see, it's a short one, but definitely comfy. Well, since there were no comments about the April Fools' chapter, I will likely delete it or change it to a special one when the story is finished. I'll decide this week. Hope you like this one.

Any constructive review is really appreciated.

Declaimer: I don't own any characters from Little Witch Academia, I'm just doing this for fun.

Chapter XV

Calidum

After passing by the Gecko Café again and saying goodbye to the grandmother and Edward, the girls set off towards the Ley Line portal. Along the way, they played a bit with each other, and although some laughter was present, what most reigned in that small territory were warm smiles, little looks loaded with feelings, and their hands, which were now inseparable.

Hannah could barely contain her excitement. She had done it, she had broken through that security door that kept her from accessing Akko's heart, and now she had it in her hands, something she didn't know she would long for so much.

With the broom in hand and having overpaid the gnome, as they had taken too long, they embarked on the dimensional tunnel. Akko was resting her chin on Hannah's shoulder and her hands were firmly around the waist of the chestnut-haired girl. Hannah maintained a fast but safe pace, knowing that at any moment they would be at the school, and taking advantage of this privacy they enjoyed, she asked.

"Akko, should we tell, you know, them...?" Akko, with her eyes closed, simply shook her head and said, "Hannah, you know that Sucy and Lotte won't say anything to us. Besides, if you ask me, I don't care in the slightest what others think about us," she said firmly, continuing, "But this is now a decision for both of us, so if you have any problem with it, don't worry, we can keep it a secret, although I doubt they won't notice." Hannah felt that Akko wasn't saying it in an aggressive tone or with any bad intention, but rather in a calm and respectful manner.

"No, no, Akko, I don't mean it like that. It's just that... well, how to explain it..." Hannah couldn't find a way to express what she felt; it wasn't anything serious or worrisome, just a small matter that needed to be resolved beforehand.

"What's the matter, Darling? Tell me."

"What?" In a second, she felt her heart flip inside her, while the broom gave a slight turbulence. "Wow, wow, Hannah, are you okay?" Hannah just stared ahead, and all her muscles were tense. "How did you call me?" she asked, trying to make sense of what her ears had vibrated. "Um, Darling?" So she had heard right.

Akko, realizing the reason they almost ended up in a parallel dimension, smiled and taking advantage of the rare occasion she saw Hannah lacking confidence, whispered in her ear, "Don't you like it, Honey…?"

Hannah felt a burning flame rise from her lower belly, her skin bristled, and her heart raced a few more beats. Without saying another word, she leaned forward and picked up speed.

In a couple of minutes, they could see in the distance the grand structure that was Luna Nova; even though it was already night, its magnificence was impressive. However, Hannah did not fly directly to the main door but, in a quick move that would even impress Diana herself, she diverted to the external door that contained a gate through which people without magic or visitors entered.

Jumping off the broom, she saw how the little Japanese girl, impressed and confused, just imitated her, and taking her by the hand and practically dragging her towards a couple of bushes that hid them, pushed Akko against a tree and, placing her arms on either side of her head taking advantage of the height gained by her high-heeled boots, she brought her face close, almost face-to-face with the girl, and said in a hoarse voice

"Atsuko, never, but never call me 'darling' like that again or I won't be able to contain myself."

Akko, now definitely going crazy with what was happening, just looked into her eyes, and noticed there was no anger, but an uncontrollable desire begging to be released. She blushed from head to toe, and while a similar feeling arose in her body, she averted her gaze and nodded without saying anything in return.

Hannah, with a bit more control, stepped back from the girl who with each passing minute was driving her more insane, and exhaling, extended her hand indicating that now they could continue on their way. Akko took it, this time a bit nervously, and they proceeded step by step towards the entrance of the school.

When they reached the hallway that separated the two parts of the school, and therefore each of their dormitories, Hannah took Akko's other hand and, joining them, said, "I guess that's all for today?"

The Japanese girl, looking at her with an irresistible desire not to part from her, whispered, "Yes, I suppose." Hannah, who nearly melted from the tenderness when she noticed the reaction, said, "Hey, don't make that abandoned puppy face." Akko, puffing up her cheeks, did nothing but draw an even more pronounced smile from the English girl. "You know, Akko, those are no longer a deadly weapon to me," and while raising her arms threateningly, she continued, "And do you know why?" Akko, who simply remained as stubborn, didn't pay attention until it was too late. "Because of this," said Hannah as she pounced on the girl and began kissing her face all over. Akko could only laugh while trying to protect herself from the fierce attack.

"Hannah, stop, hahaha," was all she could manage to say, and after the chestnut-haired girl felt it was time to end, she stopped all her movements and gave her final attack by giving Akko a small kiss on the forehead.

Pulling away, she waited for the girl to open her eyes and finished saying, "See you tomorrow, Akko."

However, Akko, before answering and taking for granted what surely was the best day of her life, asked, "Hannah, before you go, what were you going to say when we were on our way to Luna Nova?" The dark-eyed girl, who was expecting this question, simply winked and said, "It doesn't matter, Akko, as you said, what others think of us isn't really relevant, plus I promised myself that the day I knew I was in love with you."

Akko, feeling satisfied with the answer, nodded and said, "Okay. See you tomorrow, Darling."

And before Hannah could reproach her again for what she had said, she saw how the girl dashed off towards her dormitory. Letting out a sigh, Hannah turned and started walking to her dormitory with a smile that surely no one could erase.
