Author Notes
Here is Chapter 16. Well, I don't know how to say this, but I will reduce the time I spend writing this fic. I know that my chapters are not long and that the ship is pretty rare, but I don't see much activity in the story, and with each day, it's getting harder to write the next chapter. I can promise you that it will end this year, but new chapters might take longer to release, or not. See you sooner or later. Enjoy it.
Any constructive review is really appreciated.

Chapter XVII
Admiratio
She was bored. Extremely bored. Ever since the relationship with Hannah began, they had only gone out a couple of times to Glastonbury and a few to Blytonbury before she had to go to London for these holidays. And even though those outings were just as great as the first time, now that she had nothing to do and all the free time in the world, she felt listless.
"Lotte, do you want to go chat with Ursula sensei?" she suggested to the Finn.
"Sorry, Akko. I promised mom and dad I'd visit them today."
"Ugh," Akko sighed. First attempt failed.
"What about you, Sucy? Want to go mushroom hunting in the forest?" she now asked the purple-haired girl.
"As wonderful as that sounds, sorry, Akko, but I have to attend to some urgent matters in town."
"Arg," expressed Akko, disappointed. And there went her last bullet.
"Girls, please, I'm bored."
"Then unbore yourself," said Sucy, frowning.
"Why don't you call Hannah and maybe chat with her? You haven't done that today," interjected Lotte trying to give an idea.
"But she told me she was going to a football match today with her dad and her brother. I don't think she'll answer," said Akko as she spun around on her unmade bed and grumbled even more.
"It's worth a try, right? Who knows, maybe they're on their way or they just haven't left yet," Lotte held, trying to encourage her to do it.
"Uggg, but I don't want to bother her," said Akko, huffing with her face in her pillow.
"Akko, Hannah would never be bothered by that," asserted Lotte, who kept insisting.
"I'm already dialing," announced Sucy, holding Akko's phone to her ear and the dial tone was already starting to connect with the recipient.
"Wait, Sucy, wa..."
"Akko?" came out of the phone's speaker.
Jumping up from her bed like a bolt of lightning, Akko snatched the cellphone from Sucy's hands, and after shooting her a killer look, immediately greeted her girlfriend. "H-hello, Hannah, how are you?"
"Fine, and you... you sound a bit odd, is everything alright at Luna Nova?" Akko, without looking back at either of her two friends, found her desk chair and sitting down, continued, "Yes, yes, it's just that someone touched something they shouldn't have," she said while Sucy let out a laugh in the background.
Hearing an affirmation from the girl, she decided to ask the first thing that came to mind. "Ready to go to the stadium?"
"Yes, actually, I'm putting on some makeup right now," she heard Hannah moving some things and the sound of the call changing.
"What did you say the teams were called?" asked Akko, trying to start some casual chat between the two.
"Arsenal and Chelsea. Ugh, you don't know how chaotic this house gets when there's one of those matches," she heard Hannah say as more things moved in the background.
"Why?"
"Dad and my brother are Chelsea fans, and mom and I root for Arsenal."
"And your other sisters?"
"The oldest just goes to the stadium to flirt with guys, the youngest doesn't care much, though I can swear dad's convincing her to join the enemy."
"Hehe, even if it doesn't seem like much, consider me on your side to even things out," said Akko, resting her elbows on her desk.
"No offense, Akko, but I think you don't know anything about football, and let's say you wouldn't even make up the numbers on the team," she heard a snort, and could swear she imagined the girl on the other end rolling her eyes.
"Eeee, but your little sister probably doesn't know much about football either," she retorted while now playing with a pencil by her side.
"You'd be surprised what a 9-year-old can know these days," she heard as an echo change indicated they were leaving the bathroom.
"What can she know? How to play house, comb a doll? I don't know, how cool is Shiny Chariot?" she said while now spinning the pencil in her hand.
"Ummm, yes, yes, and no, but I can bet she knows more about football than you do for sure," Hannah chuckled a bit in the background while a door of probably a closet was heard opening.
"Meanie," Akko responded as a silence accompanied by the noise of the cellphone's speaker ensued; neither of them spoke for a few minutes, enjoying that small space that, although strange, was truly comforting.
Suddenly, on an impulse more from the heart than the mind, Akko opened her mouth to say the next thing.
"I miss you," came out as a whisper, however, the strength of the voice was enough for the girl on the other end to hear it clearly. "I miss you too, Akko," she immediately replied. However, just as Akko was about to continue on the path she had just laid the first brick for, she heard a door burst open on the other end of the call.
"Sarah, do you need something?"
"Hurry up, dad is already in the car with Emma and Oliver, just waiting on you and mom."
"Okay, give me a second, and I'll be down."
"Who are you talking to? Your boyfriend?"
"Wait what? N-no."
"You stuttered, I can't believe it, do you really have a partner?"
"W-what? No, it's not what it seems!"
"You stuttered again, that's definitely a yes."
"Argh," Akko heard as on the other side Hannah moved the phone to say the following "Akko, we'll talk another time."
"Akko, is he foreign? Oh, this just keeps getting better, wait till I tell mo…"
"Hannah? Hannah, hello?" And pulling the cellphone away from her ear, she looked at the screen, not knowing what had just happened. Turning to see if any of her friends were still in the room, she saw that Lotte was lying on her bed while Sucy was nowhere to be found.
"Everything okay, Akko?" she heard the girl ask as she lifted her gaze from her book.
"Yes, just that Hannah hung up on me weirdly, and I could hear someone in the background, I think it was her sister," she said, making a puzzled face still not understanding what had happened.
"Well, they were probably asking her for something," she said, going back to her reading.
"Yes, that's most likely. Hey, weren't you supposed to visit your parents?" Akko asked, but got no response; the girl was already lost in her fantasy world, so, again with nothing to do, she decided to take a shower and then go out for at least a walk around the school.
The plan, though it sounded really odd, was the only option she had, so taking her towel, a change of clothes, and her respective utensils, she headed for the shower. Time passed, and just as she was about to step out of the stall, she heard several knocks at the door followed by Lotte saying, "Akko, your phone is ringing, I think it's Hannah."
'Hannah? Well, maybe she's free now and wants to talk some more.'
Hurrying the process, she quickly brushed her teeth, combed her hair as best as she could, and dressed like lightning falling from the sky. She couldn't apply any cream or go through her other usual processes, because the English girl was waiting.
Exiting the bathroom, she found the phone on the desk and immediately picking up was greeted with a sigh. "Hannah?"
"Hello, Akko."
"Are you okay?"
"No, look, argh, how to explain this..."
"Take it easy, what's up? Was there an accident? Are you sick? Was there a fight?"
"No, it's none of that, aaagh, Sarah, my sister, found out about us, and she told mom."
There was a moment of silence, and the chestnut-haired girl continued.
"And, well, one thing led to another and dad found out too. The trip to the stadium was a bit awkward, but aaaaaaaa, never mind."
Another silence followed.
"The thing is, my parents want to meet you, and they told me to invite you over, so I wanted to tell you, is there any chance you can get a ticket to London this afternoon?"
"What?" was all that could come out of the Japanese girl's mouth as a flood of thoughts rushed into her mind.
