Hiccup and his group were still sailing towards Marineford in all haste.

"So it can be way harder breaking into Navy HQ than it is Impel Down," said Hiccup.

"They are anticipating your father's assault at any moment, so they are prepared for all-out war," said Jinbe. "And there's no doubt that they command the place with formidable and infamous figures known to the world today. None of us here want to get ourselves caught in a full-blown war, but I'm afraid that might be inevitable now."

"We were only able to infiltrate Ennies Lobby because the guy in charge was completely incompetent," said Astrid. "So rescuing Ace is going way harder than rescuing Heather."

Hiccup just sat there in silence.

Meanwhile, Ragnar was still stuck on Defender of the Wing Island, and he was unable to persuade the populace to allow him to leave.

"Come on, I can't stay here forever," Ragnar argued.

They were being unbelievably stubborn; not only that, but they refused to leave Ragnar alone. He also noticed that those guarding him were all women at his morals, preventing him from playing a single hand on a woman.

"I am sorry, but we cannot allow anyone to leave this island, not without permission from our Queen," said his guard.

"Then can't I speak with your Queen?"

"Alas, she's not on the island; in fact, she hasn't been here for quite some time. Truth be told, we do not know when she'll return."

"What kind of Queen just leaves her people and never returns?" Ragnar questioned.

The guard immediately glared at him. "We do not question our Queen, and we are sure that she has very good reason for everything she does."

Ragnar sighed. "Well, don't you have anyone in charge here?"

"We do have a temporary Queen in charge, but I'm afraid you won't get anywhere with her."

"Let me be the judge of that," said Ragnar.

"Very well, but don't say I did not warn you."

Ragnar was then escorted to the castle, and it was certainly grand, to be sure. Additionally, everything was completely spotless, but there were no portraits or any kind of art for that matter.

Standing in front of the throne was a young woman with long, blazing red hair.

"So you, our mysterious visitor," she said.

"That's right, and you're the acting Queen?" Ragnar assumed.

"The name is Caroline," she said.

Ragnar then turned his eyes to the throne. "And you don't sit on the throne."

"That throne is only for one person; it would be rather presumptuous of me to sit upon it," she said.

"Fine, but back to the matter, I'm here," said Ragnar. "I wish to leave this island. It's not that your hospitality has been unwelcome, but I have friends waiting for me."

"Then they're going to have to wait a little longer because I cannot permit you to leave," she said.

"And there's no way I can change your mind?" Ragnar asked.

A small smile then appeared on her face. "I'll make you a deal. If you defeat the strongest in our kingdom, then you can leave. Deal?"

"Deal," said Ragnar.

Soon, everyone had gathered, and as it turned out, the strongest war in the kingdom turned out to be Caroline herself.

"Really? You're the strongest one on the island?" said Ragnar.

She merely smirked. "How do you think I become the substitute Queen of Defender of the Wing Island?" She then immediately took up a fighting stance. "I am a master of the Kama Style, though it is Queen Mala who is the true master."

Ragnar sighed. "Then I should mention that I'm totally against attacking women; it's against my moral code."

"How chivalrous of you, but you are the ones who need to deal. If you do not defeat me and, you'll never get off this island. Though if it makes you feel any better, as of this moment, I will consider myself a man."

"You can just do that?" Ragnar frowned.

"We do not put much stock in genders in the Defender of the Wing Island," said Caroline. "Our Queen has the ability to change genders; some of the people you see before you were once men became women and vice versa."

"Very interesting, and finds it does make things easier," said Ragnar as he took a fighting stance.

"Good, now I'll get to show you my moves."

"Just so you know, I don't intend to give you a chance to show them off," said Ragnar, immediately charging towards him.

He then somersaulted into the air and formed an axe kick. The moment his leg made contact, dust immediately erupted from the ground.

"Now we just let the dust settle," said Ragnar confidently.

However, when the dust had settled, there was no sign of Caroline.

"Where is he?" Ragnar gasped.

"Right behind you," he said.

Ragnar spun around and saw Caroline directly behind him, but then he vanished and reappeared next to him. Before he had any chance to react, Caroline placed a hand palm right beneath his chin, which was strong enough to knock him back.

"Okay, let's try this again," said Ragnar.

He jumped at Caroline once more and began swinging some powerful kicks, but he easily evaded his attacks.

'What the hell?' Ragnar gasped as he carried on with his assault. 'Why can't I land a single attack.'

Eventually, Ragnar got tired and finally stopped his assault.

"You do have some fierce moves, I'll grant you that, but you have to do a lot better than that to defeat me," said Caroline.

"I'm only getting started," said Ragnar then carried on with his assault.

"Really?" said Carolina as he dodged the attacks again. "Because where I'm standing, it looked as if you're slowing down."

"You don't know what you're talking about!" Ragnar yelled.

"Don't I?"

He then suddenly went on the offensive and began blocking everyone Ragnar's attacks. He then dealt a few palm strikes and then dealt a devastating kick into his chest, hitting him so hard that he hit the ground.

"I'm not done," said Ragnar as he struggled to get back up.

"Stand down," said Caroline, looking down at him. "You couldn't beat me when you were fighting fit. You certainly can't beat me now. If you wish to challenge me again, come and find me; just make sure you can survive a lot longer next time around."

Ragnar watched as Caroline turned away and walked off before he fell unconscious.

Chopper, meanwhile, was still stuck in Birdie Kingdom. Fortunately, he was now able to move and began making his way back up the tree in his human form. You are carrying a huge wooden tray of food and making his way to one of the nests.

"Oh man, I really want off this stinking island," he said as he looked up at the nests. "This island is seriously the worst. Birds treating me like I'm their touring, and humans constantly trying to eat me in a hotpot. If that's not bad enough, and it really is, the birds and humans won't stop fighting each other. There's got to be a way out of here."

He soon entered the cave where one of the baby birds was walking in its nest.

"Calm down," said Chopper calmly. "I have gathered a nice dinner for you."

The chick squawked happily as it rose onto its feet, revealing that Chopper had been treating it.

"How are your injuries today?" Chopper asked as he put the tray down. "Did they get any better overnight? Here, let me take a look."

He then bent and began to examine the chick's talons.

"Calm down now," he said.

Chopper under the bandages and noticed that the chick's injuries were healing up nicely.

"Hey, they're all healed up." He smiled as he grabbed the tray. "All right, time to get your strength back."

The chick then happily began to munch down on the food Chopper had found.

"You're show lucky I was around. Just imagine if I hadn't been out searching for herbs or something…"

Yesterday, Chopper found a hiding spot away from the birds and the humans. He found some herbs and began making some medicine out of them.

"This should fix upset stomach right up," he said.

The entire place then suddenly shook.

"What the heck was that noise!" he panicked. "Are the humans after me again? Please, please don't let them throw me into a hotpot. They're going to eat me!"

He then heard the sound of the chick chirping; he poked his head out of the cave entrance and saw the baby bird flat on the ground.

"That's a big chick," he gasped; he then looked up at the nests above. "I guess she must've fallen out of the nest. She's way too young to communicate with me, although I can tell she's hurt that much is obvious."

He then began to examine the cheque and saw that her feet were badly injured. "That's really bad, not that I'm all that surprised. Just look how far she fell."

The chick was fidgeting rather badly, and Chopper quickly approached her, trying to calm her down.

"Don't move," he said. "Come on, you're only making it worse." When she refused to stop, he transformed into his human form to get a good hold of her. "Hey! Calm down and do what I say. Trust me, I'm a doctor."

She eventually stopped fidgeting and became much more relaxed.

It was now the present day, and the chick was happily munching on the food that Chopper had gathered.

"Geez, you do eat a lot," Chopper sighed. "You're going to wear me out if I keep collecting this fruit for you all day."

He then transformed back into his hybrid form.

"But she needs all the food she can get so she can grow up strong and be able to fly someday, and then she can return to the nest." He then remembered something and reached into his pocket. "Oh yeah…"

He then pulled out his Viva card and then looked at the chick. "You've got to do me a favour when you learn to fly. You can get me off this crazy island and take me to the Sabaody Archipelago."

Chopper could just picture himself riding on the back of a giant bird heading over to Sabaody.

"Awesome, huh?" he said cheerfully. "I mean, it's almost like I planned it when I helped you out. You've got to promise me, okay and forget about it."

She merely squawked happily and nuzzled him.

"Hey! Knock it off!" Chopper laughed. "That tickles you, little monster. Stop."

Sadly, she did know her own strength, and she nuzzled him so hard that he was sent flying across the cave.

"Oh, come on," Chopper moaned as he rolled across the floor. "You too? Do I look that much like a toy?"

The next night, the two of them fell asleep peacefully, and Chopper cosied up to the chick as her feathers were the comfiest pillow he had ever come across.

"So warm," said Chopper in his sleep.

He began dreaming of meeting up with the rest of the Dragon Riders.

"Ah, it's so nice seeing you again," he said. "Not that I actually missed your ugly jerk faces."

He then woke up but discovered that he was completely alone in the nest.

"Hang on, I wonder where she went," he said as he rubbed the sleepiness out of his eyes.

He then laid back down in the nest. "Oh well, her legs are all healed up now. She must've gone out for a walk."

His eyes suddenly shot wide open when he realised what he just said. "What?!"

He then quickly jumped out of bed and began searching for her. Fortunately she left quite large footprints behind, so tracking her was rather easy.

"This is really bad," he said concerningly. "I had better find her fast. Judging by these prints, she can't be far."

"I starving you guys," said a voice.

Chopper then quickly hide behind a tree just as the human tribesman arrived.

"We know, we're all starving. That is why we are trying to find escape, deer, you dummy. Why you think we're here?"

"That was reindeer. You're the dummy."

"Who cares what is? We're going to catch it and make some hotpot."

"Now you're talking."

"Me celebrating."

Once they were gone, Chopper emerged from his hiding spot.

"Oh no, not good, not good at all," he said and ran off.

He desperately ran through the forest, but he wasn't watching when he was going and crashed into something. When he looked up, he was immensely relieved that he had just ran into the baby bird.

"Hey, I found you," he said, hugging her. "I am so glad that you're okay."

"I don't think it's here, guys," said a voice in the distance.

Chopper panicked as the tribesmen were heading in their direction.

"Shh!" Chopper hissed, placing his hoof over the bird's beak.

"So we check out another part of the jungle, right?"

"Yeah, you're right."

Chopper watched as they walked away.

"Good, they didn't see us," he said. He then turned and looked at the baby bird. "So you wandered off and got lost, huh?"

She responded by nuzzling Chopper affectionately.

"I guess it's safe to say you're better now, but you've got to be quiet, okay. Those guys will find us if we make too much noise."

Sadly, the baby bird didn't understand this and squawked very loudly.

"No! Shut up!" Chopper pleaded.

Unfortunately, the tribesman heard her.

"Oh damnit!" Chopper moaned as he quickly pushed the baby bird away.

"Right there! I see reindeer!"

"I see bird too!"

They then began to chase after them.

Chopper in the baby bird were running for their lies with the tribesmen hot on their trail.

"Double hotpot for dinner tonight! Chicken hotpot and reindeer hotpot!"

They then lost their spears, which were like miniature rockets, forcing Chopper and the baby bird to zigzag around to avoid getting hit. Unfortunately soon reached a cliff and had nowhere else to go.

"You're kidding me," said Chopper. "They've got us cornered!"

They turned around and saw the tribesman had now blocked off their escape.

"Nowhere else to go."

"Give up dinner."

It truly looked as if they were done for, but then they heard squawking and looked up to see giant birds flying straight down towards them.

"Big birds coming to save the cheaper."

"We shoo them away!"

"Awesome!" Chopper yelled. "You guys truly coming to help us?"

One of the birds landed right in front of them; who had to be the chick's mother.

"Your baby got hurt, but don't worry, I've been taking care of her for you, but you don't have to thank me or anything, you big bastard."

Chopper smiled broadly, but the mother looked down rather sternly and lowered her head towards him. She then knocked him aside and grabbed the chick before flying off.

"I totally knew you were going to do that!" Chopper moaned as he found himself rolling across the ground.

Then, to make matters worse, he rolled right off the edge of the cliff. He began falling straight towards the ground screaming but quickly bit down on one of his Rumble balls.

"Guard Point!" he yelled.

He then quickly transformed into his guard form and landed on the ground safely. He bounced around the ground for a while but then transformed back into his hybrid form.

He then looked up towards the cliff where the tribesmen were firing at one of the large birds.

"And they're right back to fighting again, of course," Chopper sighed.

He then looked up and saw flying overhead was a mother carrying the baby chick, no doubt heading back to their nest.
