"Gajeel!"
Natsu and Happy burst into Gajeel's room, causing him to bolt upright from his bed.
"Hey! What did I say about coming into my room?!"
They ignored him, Happy flying to Lily and shaking him awake.
"Lily! Wake up! Sleepover in Erza's room!"
Natsu shook his head with excitement.
"Yeah! Sleepover!!!!"
Lily smiled and kindly thanked them for the invitation but politely declined. Gajeel just straight up kicked them out.
"Okay! Next time then!"
In the kitchen, Irene hummed happily as she prepared some delicious snacks for her cute babies. (Despite them already being eight years old)
When she finished, Irene loaded them onto a tray and carried them upstairs to Erza's room.
knock knock*
Irene entered the room to see Erza, Natsu and Happy curled up under the blanket watching a movie lacrima.
"Snacks are here!"
"Yay!"
Happy flew and plopped himself on Irene's head causing her giggle.
"You brought yummy fish!"
"You're welcome," said Irene before gently picking him off and hugging him. The little blue kitten purred and nuzzled his cheek against hers.
Erza and Natsu thanked their mother for the food. Soon enough, the trio were watching their movie under the blanket, laughing and eating their popcorn and mini-sandwiches.
Irene's heart soared watching her children having fun. Though, she wished Gajeel wouldn't be such a sour puss and joined.
She turned off the light and closed the door behind her.
Two hours later
Irene had returned and was sporting a huge smile.
Natsu and Happy had fallen asleep, the two snuggled deeply into Erza who had her arms wrapped around them.
Yep. Irene loved her adorable kids
