"Mom?" said Erza calling out to Irene.
"Yes, dear? What is it?" responded Irene, grabbing a glass from one of the kitchen cabinets to pour herself some water.
Erza twiddled her thumbs and looked down, avoiding Irene's eyesight.
"Have you ever thought about getting out there and dating?"
Irene raised her eyebrow, curious about what suddenly brought this on.
"Why do you ask, Erza?" said Irene leaning against the kitchen counter.
Erza chuckled nervously and rubbed the back of her head, "I don't know, haha! Just a thought!"
Irene smirked and took a sip of her water, "I wouldn't say I'm against the idea. But my goal right now is raising you lovely children."
Erza smiled as her mom walked over and planted a kiss on her forehead.
"Besides, everyone I meet is either a total suck-up or idiot," said Irene fainting a yawn, "Like, no thank you."
Erza laughed and hugged her mom, "That's true."
Irene gave a soft smile, "Don't worry about me. As long as I have all of you, I will never feel lonely."
"And me, Mommy!" yelled Wendy, popping out from behind the hallway and running to hug her mom.
Irene giggled and lifted her youngest daughter into her arms, kissing her on the nose, "Yes, that includes you, sweetie."
Together, they all laughed and left the kitchen to go watch a Movie Lacrima.
Unbeknownst to them, Irene would someday soon find her special other.
Author's Notes: Hey everyone! Been a long time since I updated this story. Been busy with life and haven't been able to brain storm ideas for this story until today.
What would you think, If Irene found a love interest? I think that would be a very interesting concept to introduce into this story. But the real question is, whose worthy of Irene's time?
In my own headcanon, she hates weaklings, idiots, and people who waste her time.
