Chapter 20:
Water, Nature, And Earth, Magic Air, Electric, Fire
After arriving at the White Isles, Twilight and her friends began their quest to find the Oracle. But it wasn't a very easy quest for them for they have a few encounters with some obstacles in their way.
After their many encounters with Stone Knights and Fire Monsters, Twilight and her friends find themselves in what looks like some kind of courtyard, but with boiling water and bones instead. Ahead of them, is what looks to be an entrance to a temple.
As the Mane 7 and Spike begin to make their way to the temple, they heard a weary female voice echoing throughout the surrounding area…
"Sacred Threshold…Hallowed Ground…Pathways Unfold…Lost Is Found…Prove your Worth with Quick Desire…Water, Nature, and Earth, Magic, Air, Electric…Fire…," It echoed.
As the Mane 7 walked, Spike shook his head, hoping his mind and ears were playing tricks on him again, "What the-? Great now, I'm hearing voices too," He said, feeling quite confused.
"Hmmm, I wonder what she basically means by that?" Rarity asked, confused about what voice said about things being lost is found and many other things.
"Don't look at me, I don't even know what those words mean by those rhymes," Rainbow Dash commented sarcastically with a shrug.
"Oh, wait a minute. I'm having a thought," Pinkie said, getting an idea as she sat down and hummed to herself to see what the voice meant as she placed her hooves on the sides of her head to think.
"Anything, Pinkie?" Fluttershy asked, hoping Pinkie has found the answer.
"Sorry, girls. I have nothing," Pinkie apologized with a disappointed frown.
"Hmmm, maybe we must have missed something. Let's look around and see what we can find," Twilight said as she and her friends looked around to find the answer to what the voice was talking about.
But as they looked around, appearing out of nowhere, seven blue glowing orbs with four spider-like legs showed up, catching the Mane 7 and Spike by surprise and making electrical buzzing sounds.
Twilight and her friends stood their ground against them. Together, they used their elemental magical powers and aerial combat skills to melee on them and defeat them. The Mane 7 used each of their elemental powers to not only defeat the Orbs, but after they defeated them, the Orbs lost their legs and became regular glowing orbs.
"Okay, so we defeated the Orbs. Now what do we do?" Rainbow Dash asked.
Twilight thought back to what the voice was saying, and then it suddenly came to her to what they have to do next as she faced her friends and said, "I know what we have to do. Each of us needs to charge the crystal orbs with each of our magic, but in a pattern the voice spoke of,".
Sunset and the others nodded in understanding and all of them headed to different Orbs to charge them with their magic, by doing the pattern that the voice said.
"Water," Rarity said, charging one orb with her water magic.
"Nature," Fluttershy said next, charging the second orb with Nature Magic.
"Earth," Applejack said as she charged the third orb with her Earth Magic.
"Magic," Twilight said, using her Magic to charge up the fourth orb.
"Air," Rainbow Dash said, charging the fifth orb with her Air Magic.
"Electric," Pinkie went next, charging sixth orb with her Electricity Magic.
"And Fire," Sunset said, finally adding Fire Magic to the final orb.
Once all the orbs were charged up with magic, The Mane 7 and Spike watched as the gates to the Temple Of The White Isles opened, revealing a floating book inside.
"You think that there floating book might lead us to the Oracle, Twilight?" Applejack asked as she faced Twilight, being a little confused about seeing a floating book above and in front of them.
"There's only one way for us to find out, Applejack. Let's go," Twilight said as she and her friends entered the temple and followed the floating book, hopefully it might lead them to the Oracle.
