Chapter 15:

Old Times And Uninvited Guests

As the gates opened up, Flash walked out and entered the arena where his former enemies, Twilight and her friends, were standing and waiting as the crowd began to cheer for the battle to begin.

"Ah! I told you ponies he was still evil. And look my eye's twitching again," Spike shuddered in fear as he can feel his eye beginning to twitch again from seeing Flash again.

Meanwhile, the Skavengers kept on cheering for the battle to start as Twilight, her friends, and Flash began to circle each other, about to engage in a fight they were forced into. Still cheering, one of the Skavengers did a slice motion, meaning they want to see some violence and brutality in the fight.

"Just like old times, huh, Alicorn Warrior? Aahhh, and I see you have brought along your friends to help you. Couldn't handle fighting me alone," Flash said, looking ready to take on Twilight and her friends while reminding them of the times when he was their enemy.

"This is crazy. We're not really going to fight him, are we?" Rainbow Dash asked, not feeling the mood to fight a reformed stallion who was once their arch enemy.

"No, we're not. Flash, we're not going to fight you," Twilight said, facing Flash and letting him know they will not fight him since he's no longer under the Dark Master's control.

"Relax, Twilight. I'm just trying to put on a show for the crowd while we figure out what to do," Flash reassured as they circled each other, knowing they will have to fake a fight so they can get out of the arena and away from the Skavengers.

"Don't trust him, Twilight! He wants to hurt me again!" Spike warned with fear, remembering what Flash did to him during their final battle in Convexity.

"Spike, let it go already. Will you?" Rarity said, rolling her eyes in annoyance from Spike's paranoia of the past events.

Fluttershy looked up at the air above and saw something that made her eyes widened with shock and fear, "Um, Twilight? I think we might have a big problem…," She said, tapping her friends' shoulder to get her attention.

"What's that, Fluttershy?" Twilight asked, facing Fluttershy with a raised a brow.

"That!" Fluttershy exclaimed in feared reply, pointing to the air above them as a loud screeching roar caught their attention.

Flying down from the skies, the Mane 7 and Flash saw the Dreadwings and the same Unicorn mare from earlier have arrived to capture them. They shot down a bomb into the arena from above, and it exploded around the place, creating a cloud of dust, and making everything hard to see.

The Dreadwings and their riders then flew into the dust to capture their prized bounty.

Sunset, Rarity, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Fluttershy, Pinkie, and Spike recovered from the explosion and got back up as the dust settles around them, making it hard for them to see what's happening all around them.

"Wha-what's happening?" Pinkie asked, trying to see through the dust surrounding them.

"I don't know," Sunset replied, coughing from all the surrounding dust.

"Twilight? Twilight, where are you?" Spike called out, flying around the arena to find Twilight as the place was beginning to break apart around him.

Only to be met with a Dreadwing, that appeared out of nowhere in the dusty mist, causing the young dragon to rephrase, "Not Twilight! Not Twilight!" Spike shouted as he flew away from the Dreadwing pursuing him.

Meanwhile, Twilight was moving around the mist, trying to find her friends and avoid the falling debris around her. But as she moved further into the mist, Twilight heard another roar and looked above to see a Dreadwing approaching her with its claws out, ready to snatch her up.

But before it could even snatch her up, "TWILIGHT!" a familiar male voice shouted as Twilight found herself being pushed out of harm's way before she was snatched up and hits the ground with a grunt.

Quickly getting back up and shaking her head, Twilight looked to see who pushed her and to her horror, she saw that the Dreadwing has snatched up Flash, instead.

"Get away from me! Twilight!" Flash screamed as he was being lifted into the air and carried away from the Dreadwing.

"FLASH! NOOOOOOOOO!" Twilight shouted with terror from seeing Flash being carried off and she and her friends can't save him now.

"Twilight, what happened?" Applejack asked as she and the others arrived on the scene after hearing her friend screamed.

"They took Flash away. We've gotta save him!" Twilight replied in urgency, knowing where the Bounty Hunters are taking him, and they must get him back.

"But, how are we going to do that?" Rainbow Dash asked, wondering how they are going to save Flash from the Bounty Hunters if they don't know which way they are going or where they're heading.

"Girls, this way! There's an opening, we could use it to get out of here!" Spike encouraged, pointing to an opening within one of the gates, which is their one way out of the arena.

"There's no time to lose. Let's go!" Twilight ordered as she and her friends quickly made their exit to an open gate that could help them escape and hopefully get Flash back from the Bounty Hunters, no matter what...
