Screeching metal, a ghostly purple light across the world. Strength fading, but he charged forward, he had to. The Titan was acting more like an animal then anything humanoid, roaring and snarling.

He felt vile in his mouth as he noticed it was hurting itself, he couldn't help but wonder of some last remnant of it's pilot was still in there, desperately fighting off this abomination.

It's body twisted, arms emerging from its back in a spray of liquid that uncomfortably reminded him of blood. He shot forward as a glowing meteor, using a Cyloop to cut the strange purple thing connection The Titan and The End, wincing as purple liquid landed on his golden fur. He dealt as much damage as he could, kicks, punches, spin dashes, and all the techniques he'd learned while on the islands.

He was hit by a purple-red orb, pain filling his body despite the lack of visible wounds. It was just like the Cyber-Corruption, even his Super form wouldn't protect him this time.

He didn't have a choice, Master King had told him to be careful with this point, but against this monstrosity, he needed more power.

Pain greater then anything he had ever felt before, his first transformation into the Werehog, the flaming arrow, Infinite's illusions, but he was used to pain. He couldn't stop here, because he was-

"Rolling around at the speed of sound! Got places to go got to follow my rainbow!". His bright green eyes shot open, a yawn echoing from his throat. He reached into his quills, pulling out his phone and checking who called him, a smile spreading across his muzzle as he answered it.

"Sup little bro, hows it hanging?". Sonic the Hedgehog grinned as he stood up fully, stretching his body. He was a humanoid blue hedgehog with a peach skin on his muzzle and stomach, while he wore white gloves, and red shoes with white straps and a gold buckle on them.

Sonic the Hedgehog, the legendary hero of Mobius and all around speed demon. He's been kicking bad guy butt since he was a kid, facing down gods, demons, machines and all sorts of monsters.

Leader of Team Sonic, he's an experienced, but easy going hero who enjoys life to the fullest.

His greatest strength is his speed, known as the Fastest Thing Alive and Blue Blur, he can break the sound barrier in seconds!

"Sonic! I finally found the seventh Chaos Emerald!". The voice of Sonic's younger adoptive brother, Miles Prower, but to most people known simply as Tails, sounded excited over the phone. "I've gathered everything up to try and form a connection to Cyber-Space! Hurry over quick!".

Sonic smirked, stretching his legs and taking a moment to admire the beauty of Green Hill.

"I'll be over soon bro". The hedgehog turned his phone off and put it back into his quills. With his stretches finished, he moved into a sprinting pose and shot off, becoming a blue blur of motion. As he ran, he began to think.

'That nightmare again? Sheesh, that place really was a nightmare and a half'. Sonic leapt over a small boulder in his path, stretching out his limbs as he flew through the air before curling up into a ball as he slammed into the ground, quickly shifting to running on his two feet. 'I'm glad Tails is so thrilled to research that place, and Cyber-Space was fun, I'll be happy as long as that nightmare moon doesn't show up again!'.

The events of Starfall Island happened a while back, but still, that freaking Moon... Sonic had bounced back from a lot of things, Zombots? Dark Gaia? Shadow's amnesia arc? He'd moved past em, so why was he still thinking about that moon?

"Eggy can't do his next scheme soon enough, I need something to take my mind off this!". He grabbed onto a tree, using it to launch himself high into the air, jumping tree to tree he smiled as he eventually landed at a large workshop, a logos of two yellow tails on the front of it. His smile widened as he took in the sight of his younger brother working on a large machine. "Yo Tails!".

The young fox turned around, Tails was shorter then Sonic, with bright yellow fur and blue eyes, he had a white muzzle and stomach. He wore white gloves, and red-white boots, but the most intriguing thing was the fact he had two yellow tails with a white tip!

Tails the Fox, the adoptive younger brother of Sonic and a hero in his own right. While he's less a fighter these days, he's a genius with an IQ over three-hundred! Many times the world would've been doomed if Tails wasn't there.

A member of Team Sonic, despite his young age he's a hero worthy of praise with a genius that rivals even the evil Doctor Eggman.

He can fly using his twin tails, and he often makes gadgets to support his allies and friends.

"Sonic! What took you so long?". Tails joked, causing both brothers to laugh. The hedgehog zoomed over and gave the fox a pat on the head, causing him to giggle. "I've been working on this for weeks! It took a bit of work to get all the Chaos Emeralds, but it's finally ready!".

Tails lead Sonic over to a large machine, its designed seemed to be a metallic version of one of throne portals, which thrummed with a power he was familiar with, Chaos Energy. Across the throne were seven slot, with beautifully shining gemstones within. Red, purple, blue, turquoise, green, yellow, and white, each gem hummed with energy, energy Sonic could feel.

"Sheesh, how'd you gather all of em up? I think even I'd struggle to find all of em in a week!". Sonic ran his hand over the green Chaos Emerald, a part of him knowing he could reach out and connect to every Emerald with how close they were. It'd be a real jerk move to drain the Emeralds energy to go Super when Tails clearly wanted to use em.

"A week? No no, it was more... Three weeks? Knuckles had been holding the purple and blue, and it was pretty easy to convince him to let me borrow them. Amy actually had the green one, and a museum had the white, but they were both pretty happy to let me take them. Yellow I found on a beach a few days ago, while The Restoration found turquoise and were keeping it secure. The hardest one to get was red". Tails approached a computer, rapidly typing in coding. "I had to convince Shadow to part with it".

"Shads?! We're talking about the same grump here right?". Sonic smiled, it was good to see Shadow being willingly to actually part with a Chaos Emerald.

"Well, he only said I could borrow it for two days, after that he'll need it for a G.U.N mission. But that should be plenty of time to begin research into Cyber-Space!". Tails finished typing, and with a final 'Enter', red lines along the throne began to light up. "I've managed to link it up to Cyber-Space, from here you should be able to use it to travel instantly to the Starfall Islands!".

"Instantly huh? So your saying its faster then me?". Sonic grinned, watching as slowly but surely, a small rift in space began to open on the throne.

"Nobody's faster then you!". Tails said it with so much belief, Sonic's smile couldn't be brighter. "But maybe a close second!".

"Maybe Shads can use it to finally keep up. So I just jump in and I can travel to a portal on the islands? None of those gear keys required?". The hedgehog's foot began to tap against the ground, his impatience beginning to get to him as the portal slowly widened.

"Well, I want to do some more adjustments, but it should theoretically be safe-".

"Got it! I'll give ya some first hand experience!". Sonic walked towards the portal, and despite his awkward smile Tails made no move to stop him, he jumped in. Feeling the familiar sensation of entering Cyber-Space.

While he was doing that, the young fox was rapidly typing into his computer, reading through series of lines.

"Everything's working as expected! Power 100%, transfer to Cyber-Space complete! Now I just need to... What?". Tails looked confused, his computer should tell him when Sonic arrived at the exit portal, but he was still in Cyber-Space? "He must be enjoying a run, what else did I expect? Well, I guess it won't hurt my tests...".

Tails was so focused on his computer, he didn't notice as purple electricity sparked to life from the Chaos Emeralds.

Sonic grinned as he fell through the air with his arms and legs spread wide, he took in Cyber-Space-

"WHAT THE HECK!?". The hedgehog hero quickly launched himself forward by surrounding himself in Chaos Energy, Boost he had taken to calling this technique. He quickly landed on top of what seemed to be the Ark's nose! "What the hell happened to Cyber-Space?!".

From what he remembered, Sage had said Cyber-Space was formed from people's memories (Which explained why he was currently standing on the nose of the Ark and he could see what seemed to be Angel Island in the distance), but it had been only one area at a time last time! Now it seemed to be a mix-mash of various things he'd seen! He could see a desert that seemed to go on forever, Mystic Ruins, what he was fairly certain was a castle from Camelot, and...

Sonic stared at the Gaia Temple, an old pain stabbing at his heart. He knew Chip was alive, sometimes he swore he could even feel his old friend's presence through the bracelet hidden under his glove, but it still hurt that they couldn't talk anymore. Still...

"Tails wouldn't mind me going down memory lane a bit". The Blue Blur grinned, crouching down and then jumping with all the strength his legs possessed, sending him flying through the digital space. He took notice of the lack of enemies as he ran and jumped about. "Guess without old moon face, there's no reason for enemies to show up huh?".
After a few minutes of parkour, Sonic finally landed at the entrance to the Gaia Temple, a nostalgic grin on his face as he placed his hands across the wall.

"Hey, its been a while, Chip. Not really sure if you can hear me through this thing but figured I'd give it a try. Me and everyone has been good, Eggman's still causing trouble, but I doubt he'll ever stop". The hero smiled, memories of adventure, chocolate, and ice-cream going through his head. And fur, a LOT of fur, thank Chaos he didn't shed or his shoes would've been filled to the brim. Still... "Hey Chip, you were around when the Ancients came to Mobius, I wonder if they ever discovered you? Those Titans did remind me of the Gaia Colossus a bit, maybe they based em off you?".

There was no response of course, he'd never expected one. But it felt good.

"Well, it was nice talking with ya Chip. Sayonara, Light Gaia". Sonic turned around to leave, he didn't want to worry Tails by taking to longer after all, so stepping out of the temple-

Instantly the Blue Blur dodged a blast of purple lightning, leaping out of the way of more and kicking himself across the roof to dodge another blast. He took in his surroundings, noticing the purple lightning was coming out of what seemed to be a black swirling tear in space!

"Getting real bad flashbacks to the Time Eater here!". Sonic raced along the edges of the Gaia Temple, he needed to find an exit before Cyber-Space came crumbling down! He quickly gazed around, trying to find any hints of a giant golden ring, but nope! "Great! Just greaaat!".

He could just avoid the purple lightning and hope for Tails to save him...

But as a grin spread across his face, Sonic already had his next action in mind. That tear did remind him of the Time Eater's portal. Avoiding the purple lightning, he quickly found a spot to curl up into a ball and began to spin! The legendary Spin-Dash, what could be considered one of the hero's signature moves!

BOOOOOOM!

With the sound barrier shattering behind him, Sonic slammed straight into the rift! The hero grunted in pain as he was zapped with bolts of the purple lightning, but he held his curled position, forcing himself to go further and further! He activated his Boost aura to keep the worst of it away, but he had no idea how long it'd last!

Unnoticed by him, under his left glove a green orb began to glow.

Tails was rapidly typing in, panic clear on his features. He hadn't noticed at first, but something was very wrong with his machine! Strange, purple lightning was emitting from the Chaos Emerald and he had no idea what it was!

He typed fast, trying to modify the process, trying to drag Sonic back to the real world. Who know what would happen in the hedgehog was left in Cyber-Space!?

"Huh?! The Chaos Emeralds are glowing!?". Tails was distracted for only a moment by the bright glow the Emeralds gave off.

That was more then enough.

The two-tailed fox eyes widened and he quickly shot to the air as rainbow light with purple edges began to expand from the throne! As he flew higher, he could only watch in horror as his workshop was completely consumed by the rainbow light. After a few seconds however, it faded away to reveal a large crater where his workshop once stood.

"Oh no! Sonic!". Tails could only worry about his brother, the Chaos Emeralds would show up again, that he was confident of, but Sonic could be trapped in Cyber-Space or some other dimension!

He began flying to the only person he could think of for help.

He needed to go to Angel island.

Sonic struggled against the pain, forcing a constant aura of Chaos Energy around the body was exhausting even for him, perhaps Shadow could do it if he removed all his Inhibitor Rings, but that was something the Ultimate Lifeform had over the Blue Blur, superior reserves.

But he couldn't give up here, Sonic the Hedgehog wasn't dying in some random experimental accident!

Lights.

Seven lights began to circle the hedgehog, who's grimace of pain turned into a smirk, his drained reserves instantly filling themselves. The seven lights, red, purple, blue, turquoise, green, yellow and white began to spin around him, increasing in speed before a brilliant golden flash blinded all!

Sonic opened his now red eyes, a cocky smirk on his face. His brilliant golden fur shining as a beacon of light within the dark rift.

"Man, that hurt". Super Sonic rubbed the back of his head through his quills, thankful for the healing effect the Chaos Emeralds had when transforming. A blast of purple lightning hit him directly, but the Super Hedgy just grinned. "Oh yea, swirling tear of doom! Lets fix that, Chaos Control!".

He felt as space-time began to warp around him, with this he could fix whatever the hell was going on and-

Huh?

"That's weird, usually when I do that things go back to normal. Chaos Control!". Super Sonic attempted it again, feeling as space-time twisted, but again the technique did nothing to the rift he was in. "Alright then, again! CHAOS CONTROL!".

Super Sonic put more and more energy into the technique, rainbow lights sparking off him and the rift he was in, he just needed to-

The Super Hedgehog began to feel sick, he wasn't sure what was going on but his vision was blurred, what had once been a black void had shifted into colors, so many colors shifting about and he couldn't name them all and-

"GAAAAAAAH!". Super Sonic screamed, his invincibility was only so powerful, it had been pierced free times in his life, this making it a fourth. He had no idea where the hell he was, was he even in Cyber-Space? Gritting his teeth, he formed a bubble of golden Chaos Energy around him, but even that began to crack in this strange, rainbow place.
Super Sonic only had so long to think of a plan, his barrier wouldn't hold much longer and every moment in this place tore at him.

"CHAOS… CONTROL!". Forcing every last drop of every he had into in this final warp, Sonic felt the Chaos Emeralds leave him before he slammed into something soft and cold, snow...?

That was the last conscious thought Sonic the Hedgehog would have until he awoke again later.

So I'm sure plenty are confused, as I haven't really said anything about my plans to reboot this series on Fanfic. So I'll make a short explanation.

I love this story, I really do, but as I was trying to make the next chapter on the original, I just kept having problems with it, and as I read through the story for ideas, I kept finding things I disliked. So, I decided on a reboot.

Some things have changed, while others have stayed the same. But please give it a chance, even if you'd prefer the original story.
